Danielsraptor vs Heracles
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Factfiles:
Danielsraptor phorusrhacoides
Tumblr media
Artwork by @otussketching, written by @zygodactylus
Name Meaning: Michael Daniels’ Terror Thief Bird
Time: 55 million years ago (Ypresian stage of the Eocene epoch, Paleogene period)
Location: Walton Member, London Clay Formation, England
While the Eocene fossil records of Seriemas, Passerines, and Parrots are fairly well known, the last remaining group of Australavians - the Falcons - remains something of a mystery. Danielsraptor helps to put together this puzzle a little more. Along with Masillaraptor, these birds show an early radiation of falcon-relatives from the Eocene in which they tried out a more terrestrial lifestyle! Danielsraptor had long legs, allowing it to forage and hunt on the ground like modern caracaras. It had a very large pygostyle, giving it long tail feathers - and with strong wing bones, it was able to fly in addition to hunt on the ground. It had a beak very similar to living caracaras and the extinct Terror Birds, further corroborating the idea that it was a bird of prey (and also potentially indicating a more complex evolutionary story for the early-derived Australavians). Living in the London Clay, Danielsraptor would have been one of the top predators, easily hunting the small mammals as well as the birds it shared its environment with - aided by both its terrestrial stalking abilities as well as its flying capability. Living in the London Clay, it shared its environment with the early loon Nasidytes, early owls, trogons, paleognaths, tropicbirds, duck-screamers, other diurnal raptors, the pseudotoothed bird Dasornis, and many parrot-passerine relatives. Crocodilians, snakes, turtles, fish, sharks, and a handful of mammals (including a primate) also lived in this rich post-Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum environment.
Heracles inexpectatus
Tumblr media
Artwork by @otussketching, written by @zygodactylus
Name Meaning: Unexpected Herculean Parrot
Time: 16 to 19 million years ago (Burdigalian stage of the Miocene epoch, Neogene period)
Location: St. Bathans Fauna, Bannockburn Formation, Aotearoa
Heracles was a truly alarmingly large parrot, related to modern day Kea, Kaka, and Kakapo, known from the fantastic avifauna of St Bathans. Standing more than two feet tall and weighing about fifteen pounds, this animal was much larger than any expected from the St Bathans fauna, which represented the initial colonization of Aotearoa (Zealandia) after it returned above sea level. Heracles is also the largest known species of parrot, ever. It was presumably flightless, though it is uncertain if it was nocturnal like its living relative the Kakapo. Its exact ecology is still uncertain, given the material known from Heracles is limited and its living relatives have very disparate ecologies, though it is possible it was omnivorous similar to the Kea and Kaka today. The St Bathans fauna lived in a freshwater lake system, in a subtropical emergent rainforest. Separated from land bridges, the fauna was dominated by birds, with early relatives of the Kiwi, New Zealand Wrens, Adzebills, and Wedge-Tailed eagles found in the fauna, as well as somewhat modern looking Moas. Smaller flamingos, large fruit pigeons, and a huge variety of geese and other waterfowl are known. In addition, frogs, tuataras, other lizards, crocodilians, turtles, and many different types of fish are known from this fascinating ecosystem.

Roaming legendaries found via means other than grass/surfing: fishing, caves, shaking grass, appearing in the overworld, etc.
Something to do with larger "type polygons": for example, an eeveelution-like group or other set of seven things that are Steel/Rock/Flying/Bug/Grass/Water/Fire
Substitute doll Pokémon
Version-exclusive evolutions for the same Pokémon (possibly along the lines of Deoxys's original forme change method, though as with Deoxys you'd need to think of a way to account for third versions and later gens)
Name-Related Concepts
Note: some of these ideas are actual puns/portmaneaus that happened to hit me before a proper concept did, some are existing objects/creatures/concepts with interesting names, and the rest are literally nonsense words that might still be able to inspire some ideas. oh???? some TMA dinosaurs would be interesting 👀👀👀
Oof you have opened a gateway my friend.
Jon: Archaeopteryx - This tiny Dino was one of the most evolved to date, it was smart for its time and though it had wings it couldn’t actually fly, it just glided from tree to tree. Another fun fact is that it grew up like a Kiwi bird.
Martin: Ankylosaurus - A literal walking TANK. This Dino was a herbivore and was pretty chilled out, safe in its spiked plates of armour but BOY if a T-Rex messed with it then it’d be getting a club tail to the femur. OUCH.
Tim: Carnotaurus - The prehistoric cheetah with horns of a bull, this Dino could chase you down for miles if you got in the way of it.
Sasha: Parasaurolophus - At 11 meters this Dino was a gentle giant that thrives in groups and is known for its haunting calls and its ability to stand up and sprint on two legs.
Basira: Troodon - With the largest brain to size ratio of any dinosaur this was the smartest species around! I love Troodons.
Daisy: Utahraptor - Dury’s still out on whether or not this Dino hunted in groups but this raptor was taller than a person and takes the trophy for one of the most ferocious hunters out there.
Melanie: Velocoraptor - At the size of a turkey this small, feisty dino had KNIFES on its FEET. Go off Melanie!
Georgie: Pachycephalosaurus - A relatively small Dino known for its ability to charge and headbut things. Pretty chilled out but will not hesitate to defend its herd.
The Admiral: Homalocephale - 5ft (small) Dino, very sweet, lived in groups and headbuts things sometimes.
Gerry: Torosaurus - This Dino’s name means ‘pierced lizard’ and if that isn’t edgy as hell I don’t know what is. A really cool Dino, fought T-Rex and looked badass while doing so. Had an 8ft long skull and was 25ft+ all together. Big badass boi.
Gertrude: Stegosaurus - This herbivore was daunting at best when calm, but when threatened it would put on a frightening display on its spinal plates, not to mention its formidable tail spikes.
Elias: Tyrannosaurus Rex - The most basic of basic bitches, scary of course but just real fuckin old. T-Rex are pretty cool but I don’t care for them.
Peter: Spinosarus - Fully or semi-aquatic, this Dino with its huge sails and it’s paddle tail was larger than a T-Rex and ate sharks for breakfast.
Michael: Dilophosaurus - 20 feet long with dagger-like teeth and fancy headcrests, this Dino had a huge flair for dramatics. It may not have actually had frills or spat venom but it COULD have been warm-blooded and had feathers, but thanks to Jurassic Park (no matter how much I love the design) it’s probably the most misunderstood Dino to date.
Helen: Therizinosaurus - A herbivore with the largest claws of any dinosaur species at a meter long each, which it mostly used as defence.
Jane Prentiss: Procompsognathus - I LOVE compies oh my god, they’re TINY at one (1) meter long which sounds sweet at first until you realise that these predators could have been terrors in groups.
Mike Crew: Hatzegopteryx - Not a dinosaur, but it still suits him! A flying Titan, this Pterosaur stood as tall as a giraffe and had a 40ft+ wingspan. It snacked on dinos while gliding or stalking like a terrifying claw machine with its giant beak.
Jude: Judiceratops - LMAO (p cool Dino, triceratops type deal)
Oliver: he’s just. He’s just A Fossil.

My BLUSH BLUSH wish list.
For those who likes the game, fan of the game or anything in between, I wanted to share my thoughts and what I wanted from the game in future updates.
Of course this is just MY thoughts, MY imaginations and just MY wish list so if you disagree, that’s OK! You can just leave what you wanted instead in the comments or in my ask box. I am open to what you have to say. So let’s go right into it:
1. Ugly Christmas Sweaters
Yes, I know I’ve posted this here after I made a screen shots of my conversations in the Steam community, but after the debut and full release of the game, we got up to date 2 DLC characters, voice audios, and a Halloween costume bundles. So if they came up with a special Christmas costume bundle, it would make me up for 2020!
In their older sister game predecessor, Crush Crush, all of their dateable girls have the Santa suit options after you max out their lover levels. (10 diamonds each.) Even though they’ve alternated each of their red Santa style suits, they’re pretty much the same.
Don’t get me wrong! They’re beautiful, but almost the same!
So that’s why if we get UGLY CHRISTMAS SWEATERS instead, it would be more festive and think of how some would match their characteristics like for example: Imagine Nihm with a cute pastel colored sweater or Ichiban with a horror reference video parody. (Or imagine a certain guy with a Grinch vibe with a ‘Merry go f#k yourself’ ugly sweater.)
Tumblr media
2. A new Diamond Boy bundle!
If you have an account with Crush Crush and you played long enough, you already know that there’s the Darya DLC bundle that gives you diamonds on the first run. (The bundle was 15 US dollars.)
So for this, I hope that the Sad Panda team studio would do the same in this game.
I have a few good ideas about what animal forms it could be before you un-curse them:
-A Pokémon knock off of Cloyster and probably friends with that Narcissistic mermaid on the phone fling. They have pearls that looks fabs!
-A dolphin if an Oyster isn’t ‘Shelling’ enough for you nor the others. Think about a treasure hunting dolphin like Ariel who’s collecting human treasures.
-A raccoon thief inspired by the Sly Cooper video games series. This was on PS2 series and had a remake later but this would be an interesting Easter egg reference. (Maybe add some Arsene Lupin reference to ‘compliment’ the detective phone boy fling.) *Wink wink!*
-I found this interesting when I search this topic but an Owl, specifically white barn owls, with ties of Hindu myth symbol of Wealth and Fortune. I’ll leave the link here if you’re interested, but this is like if Sascha was looking for him before scamming...
-A peacock! Think how back in time when you in one of the banquet Henry the 8th hosted and this was served. This was a symbol of pride and luxury so only rich people can have these.
If you have any alternatives references, please let me know in the comments or ask box if you have an ideal diamond bundle manimal and what’s their story. I would love to know and share!
3. Ideal Animal!!!
We all know how a basic Blush Blush dating game is by now: You found their animal forms, you un-cursed them by dates and they’re back to humans again. (For a good humping DLC d!k pic.) We all see that it can be either a real or a fantasy animal like a rabbit to a dragon. So here’s MY idea of the next animal:
-Marine Manimal options!
I’ve said this previously, but all of the guys so far are land animals. I would understand if it’s a bit hard to do, especially with dating scenes, but if it works, I’ll sing Part Of Your World whenever I want!
My personal options are a Dolphin, Shark, Orcas AKA sea pandas, Octopus, Lobster, Crab and Oyster.
Tumblr media
-Bird Manimal!
The only bird species we have there at the time is Kelby as a Rooster.
So for the feathered fans of the bird community, MY personal options would be an Owl, Peacock, Hawk, Eagle, Seagal, Ostridge, a Kiwi (bird) (Yes, they’re called like that in New Zealand.) Duck, Parrot, Toucan, Pidgeon or Dove, Crane or any domestic pet birds.
I would like an honorable mention of a crow or raven but since the first phone fling boy winner is the college student goth Poe, there’s a high chances that’s gonna be our second bird at high predictions. But I could be wrong so we’ll see how this would turn out.
-Insect Manimal!
Tumblr media
I know that there will be some that would disagree that ‘ThAT’s Not An ANImal CataGory!’ which I could agree. HOWEVER! Since the game creators broke that rule with fantasy creatures like a Pegasus and a Dragon, I thought maybe we can bend that rule a bit.
MY personal insect options would be a Scorpion, a Spider, a Bee, Butterfly, a ‘manly’ Ladybug inspired by Pixar’s A Bug’s life, Praying Mantis, Cricket inspired by Jiminy Cricket  and a Beetle.
Imagine the last one inspired by either the rock band ‘The Beatles’ or ‘Beetlejuice.’
-Land Manimals!
So going back to land animals, here’s MY personal options that hasn’t been done yet.
A Raccoon, Squirrel, Elephant, Barn Pig, Zebra, Bat, Mice, Fox, Monkey, Turtle (Which COULD have been in the marine instead, but they’re are some in land forms too!) Koala, Kangaroo, Bear, Frog, Donkey, Buck (Adult Bambi) and Lizard.
Tumblr media
I would add an honorable mentions or a domesticated Dog or a Cat breed, but we already have a Wolf and 2 Big Cat Boys on the team with DLC. (A Lion would be a nice option, but only if it’s the magical 3 times the charm!)
-Fantasy Manimal.
I’m not entirely sure cause Pegasus and Dragons are already taken, but would think that maybe just a Horned Unicorn, a Loch Nest creature inspired ‘Animal’ or maybe the Eastern version of the Dragon.
Imagine the last one being true and Scales got a rival!
If you have other suggestions, please share if you want.
4. Ideal Manimal characteristics that hasn’t been done yet.
We have some that has characteristic that defines themselves. Nihm’s a shy, cute guy. Eli’s a Bi pride boy. Dmitri is a Smooth talker adult. Anon’s technology attributes.
So for this category, here’s MY personal ones that hasn’t been done yet.
-A Boxing or Kung Fu fighter type.
-Italian Mafia/Gangster or a Yakuza
-Chef or a Baker
-Artist
-Demon (Unless we get Seth or a different guy.)
-Business men or CEO.
-Soldier or Army Officers.
-Car/Motor/Boat Racer.
-Thief. (Arene Lupin, Sly the thief raccoon or Joker from P5 references.)
Tumblr media
If there’s something else that hasn’t been done or that I haven’t posted it, please share with me what you think.
5. Outfit ideas!
I know this would be like a continuation from point numero uno, but here’s a couple of more.
-Swimming trunks.
-Winter apparels.
-Onesies Animal wear. (Cuz if we don’t get the Animal Options asides resets...)
Tumblr media
-Summer apparels.
-Masquerade attire or wedding tuxedo.
-Pajamas.
If there’s more you wanted, again, please share.
6. MORE INCLUSIVITY IN EVERY FORMS!!!
The reason being is when I saw the reviews on the selected winner from Phone vote fling in Blush Blush.
On one hand, there were people who were happy while the rest... aren’t.
I know we all have different taste of either ‘I like cute boys’ or ‘I want a REAL man!’ but that got me thinking... and maybe if we can see guys in different skin tones or different cultures, that could be a nice inclusivity.
Imagine a Native from Southern America with a poncho or a real buff African who’s passionate with animals.
Tumblr media
But what would you think? Let me know if this is a good idea or needs to rethink.
7. New dating places.
Like their counter part, they only have 4 date spots. So here’s a few more that would help change the scenery:
-The Beach.
-Theatre (But only showing the front, not the silhouettes.)
-Revisiting the same zoo and meet their counter parts.
-Ice cream shop or cart near the park.
-Their bedrooms. (plausible having the uncensored DLC alternate versions too...)
If you have a separate dating options, share that with me too!
8. Daily spin the wheel prizes.
Hear me out on this one! You probably seen these on numerous Gaming apps in any form, but if you think about it, this could be a nice change of pace!
In each chances, you can either get a boosters from Jobs or hobbies, Diamonds, exclusive outfits, or time skips.
What’s more, you’d get 1 free spin by daily and maybe get an extra 4 more for like 5 diamonds each. (like phone votes.)
Tumblr media
9. Decorate your virtual room.
This is only an optional and unrelated to the game. (much..)
If you’d get the option to decorate your in-game room like plushies, posters, BF jackets that was ‘lend’ to you, you’d wanted IT in RL too!!! Also, it would also boost your intimacy's with your manimal such as love hearts intakes or ‘spend less on items with this!’
And this is all I have suggested for now.
If you have other suggestions on what you wanted in that game or update it, please let me know and we can share it here!
Thank you for taking your time to read this and have a wonderful day!

Would your version of the skeletons be pet lovers? And which types of pets would they own?
Absolutely! All of my bois love different kinds of pets and they all have a sort of affinity for one or the other. For the sake of this ask, I tend to stick to more “traditional” pets because while they like exotic breeds, not all of them are going to put forth the work for them.
UT Sans/Vanilla: Dog lover, even though cats are more fit to his style of how he acts. If he could choose a single dog breed to have, it would be a Samoyed, which is basically what the annoying dog looks like. Fluffy, white, friendly as all heck, and loyal too, that’s what he wants in his pooch.
UT Papyrus/Creampuff: Dog lover, and much more active in the dog’s life than his brother is. His preferred breed is a Border Collie, which requires a lot of daily exercise and can be trained well! He’s really into having a jogging buddy and a partner for various exercises every day.
UF Sans/Red: Snakes. This boi loves a good heckin snake. First off, they’re kinda creepy and deter people who aren’t friendly, but they’re also really cool. If he could have a single kind of snake, he’s going for a Red Tailed Boa, which not only has his signature color, but is a massive creature to boot.
UF Papyrus/Fell: Cat lover, if Doomfanger is anything to go by. They literally scream regality and elegance, even in the most awkward of times, and he appreciates that. His select breed of cat would either be a Persian or a Norwegian Forest cat, as both are majestic and gorgeous.
US Sans/Blue: Sugar gliders actually! These little guys are soaring around the house and having a load of fun, and he certainly has enough energy to keep up with them. Aside from that, they’re a lot of fun to catch when they simply glide off a bookshelf and into his hands, he’s never bored with them.
US Papyrus/Stretch: Birds are his favorite type of animal. He likes how certain breeds can be taught to speak and are really smart in their own way. His preferred feathered friend would have to be either Caiques for their goofy personality, or a parrot he can teach to speak.
SF Sans/Black: Cat lover all the way. I’ve mentioned this before, but he’s a softie to a bunch of animals, though his preference is cats. His favorite breed ever is the Munchkin Scottish Folds, simply because they’re literally the cutest things alive. Their stubby legs and folded ears are too adorable.
SF Papyrus/Rus: I 100% stole this from @imjustalazycat, but he’s a fan of reptiles, specifically lizards! There’s a single type of pet that he really adores, and that’s iguanas! They look super cool and they hang out together all the time! Lazy’s version of SF Paps (named Pup) has one named Kiwi!
Thanks for the ask @briarwynthemorphling!

Moas and Kiwis: News from New Zealand's birds: Running feathered animals
>New Zealand's mosses, which can reach up to five metres in size, are not the only flightless giants. In Madagascar, once there were giant ostriches up to three metres in size and probably weighing about 500 kilos, which were unable to fly. Tuatara is not a lizard but belongs to the reptile family.
360° medienshop: New Zealand and more ...
Sir Richard Owen KCB FRMS FRS ( ) with a huge moa skeleton, c 1879th Owen was an English biologist, comparative anatomist and paleontologist who was an opponent of Charles Darwin's theory of natural selection. He is still today not in favour of pronouncing the word dinosauria (from which we get dinosaurs). Emu (Dromaius Novaehollandiae) is the largest living bird of height, after the ostrich. He is endemic to Australia, where it is the largest native bird. So make sure you have a good camera with you for such a case. You can enjoy these tours not only in Akarao, also the bay of Kaikoura is very suitable for this.
|} Read more about campervan hire New Zealand here. Haast also published about Moa and first described the Haast eagle in 1874. It is also interesting that the Moa do not have any remains of wings, whereas the Kiwi bird still has them as rudiments. Part of the series will deal with the extinct moa and the bald eagle. The Moa were completely wingless ratites, ranging from the size of a turkey to a height of barely 2 metres.

The not only flightless but also completely wingless birds could not fly away and used their long strong legs neither for escape nor for defence. In New Zealand, rats or dogs introduced by humans have brought the kiwis to the brink of extinction. At least in the long term, the reduction of the wings and the abandonment of the ability to fly does not prove to be a development that is particularly conducive to survival. It seems that natural history punishes those who lose their wings among the birds - even if it is late.
