Made a possible fic sideblog...
...but I hate that sideblogs can only be viewed from the dashboard! It's not fair!
I wanna make it look like a fanfic site, and I found a theme close enough for it, but this hellsite makes it so it can only be viewed from the goddamn dashboard!!
SEE THAT?!
That's the problem here!!
In any case, I'm keeping it up as a backup host for any fics I might publish.

apropros of nothing, i think that when looking at a work of art that appears to combine elements from multiple genres or otherwise break generic conventions in a way you're not used to, if your first reaction is to assume that this is necessarily a flaw-- a failure on the part of the creator to conform to genre norms rather than a deliberate artistic choice-- you've failed step one of literary criticism

ooh this is a good one!! though i had to rattle my head like 'what figures of speech are there' ngl lmao
I'm very fond of puns. Especially jokey, creative puns. Other than that, I like antithesis the most I think. You can see it in the way I design my brainkids, for example; soft features on a harsh character, things like that, threats gently spoken.. I'm weak for that shit
And what kind of Slav would I be if I didn't mention Slavic antithesis here! It's a figure of speech used in (south) Slavic epic poetry that consists of a question being asked, a negative answer and a true, actual answer. You can read an example of it here, it's very neat I think

I think web weaving is such an interesting type of internet art (?), i dont think the format would work on any other platform as well as it does on tumblr... online scrapbooking...
#its so much fun i have so many ideas...#i kinda want to make a sideblog for archiving all the web weaving posts i like because i dont want to fill the dash with them#and for my own web weaving posts too#irl one of my hobbies is bullet journaling and it feels very similar#i was reading about hyperlink literature a while back for an essay and web weaving kinda reminds me of that#not the same ofc#but i love how meaning gets constructed from scraps#idk idk

Rmemebering that time I made a tumblr blog for one of my classes in undergrad 💀 it was supposed to be a public exhibit type project and the prof loved it so much, that she asked me if she could use it as an example for future classes. It still exists. I remember a year after I graduated she contacted me and she was still using it … so curious if she still is … Big If True

Hello, lovely human! I'm glad to see you at this little corner of the internet :))
I'm Arianna (she/her) -- writer, poet, queer Christian, feminist, ENFJ, and constant fangirl. I've wanted to live in a library since I entered the world; if you wanted to describe me in book characters....think Nina Zenik crossed with Elizabeth Bennet, Wylan Van Sunshine, Holly Munro, and Samwise Gamgee. I'm always dreaming of other worlds while learning to love this one.
What can you expect to see here? well, a lot of excited ramblings; book quotes, moodboards, random thoughts, and original poetry. I'm deeply passionate about mental health ( sideblog link at the bottom) and much of my poetry reflects that. I battle anxiety, depression, and OCD; literature and art has become my greatest coping mechanism and teacher. the only thing I love more than sunsets are sunrises; I fall in love with the little things everyday. the stars are the greatest comfort :) at this given moment, I'm probably working on my novel; listening to Taylor Swift/ Hozier/ Boygenius/ Noah Kahan while sketching or painting; putting even more books on my library hold list, cuddling my cats, or fangirling over old poetry.
