I LIKE the idea of dadson lilisil where the valley of thorns doesn't have an incest taboo, yeah. I LIKE Lilia making Silver hide their special relationship from everyone at NRC to avoid unnecessary drama. Silver hiding it just as badly as he hides Lilia being his father. It's super fun... But ohhhh oh.... I love it when there is, very much so, an incest taboo in the valley of thorns. One that Silver has as well. The betrayal and confusion, when Lilia touches him in a way that even Silver has to acknowledge isn't friendly and paternal. If he rubs him too close to his sex, too openly sexual and wanting. If he says something too scary and disturbing, something that Silver will never be able to forget. If Lilia betrays his trust, takes advantage of his complete, utter dependence on him. Makes him question if he really loves him, or if it was all just a means to an end... If he even wants to be loved by him, if that means being loved like this. Or worse. Lilia deciding that, well, he's already gone so far. He can go just a little further. What will Silver even do about it? He can't do anything, can he?
It's just such a shame, Silver's too cute for his own good.

Anon, you are SO RIGHT! The Lilia x Silver vibes are super strong in this one! Although the other guy seems like a mix of Silver and Sebek lol but when it comes to his relationship with his lovely otokonoko vampire father figure, it’s definitely LiliSil. I wonder if the author got inspired by Lilia specifically in any way…
The artstyle is also so so so good? They’re so pretty?? I went and followed the author on pixiv instantly. Thank you so much <3

Yeah, I think it’s a common consensus that these guys are pretty much local Goths lol Not only in an alternative goth subculture way, but in a classical way too. Come on, we even have a LiliMal drawing titled “victorian goth boyfriends”…
Lilia looks especially good with anything goth-related. I can picture him listening to anything that is heavy, so gothic metal I guess.

I think Idia is a bit afraid of physical pain. He doesn’t like the Tweels’ or Lilia’s sharp teeth and probably gets anxious that they’re going to bite him whenever he sees them. But at the same time, I can picture him enjoying both this anxious feeling that he might or might not get bitten (since it’s an adrenalin rush) and this deep numbing pain when the initial shock of feeling sharp teeth goes away. When he starts to feel dizzy and the spot that was bitten feels a bit weird.
I kind of love Idia both as a masochist and as someone who is a huge chicken and doesn’t like pain at all lol
I also like the idea that Ortho sometimes bit him on accident in their childhood.
