mafia!ari leaving the club one night and spots you across the street. rosy cheeks, wet eyes and scraped knees. you’re sniffling as you collect the scattered contents of your purse. you don’t notice him until a large hand curls around your wrist, making you peer up and watch with your mouth hung open as the well-dressed, all too known, scary mafia boss helps you return your belongings to your purse and then lift a hand to brush the hair from your face and wipe a few stray tears.

“what happened here, sweet angel? is someone a little clumsy?” he asks teasingly, tutting and raising a brow before shaking his head. “need to be more careful, angel.”

“there’s— there’s a crack in the pavement, my heel caught it— and i- i fell,” you explain, showing him your now snapped heel. “m’not clumsy,” you defend.

ari chuckles, toothy grin and crinkled eyes, “let’s get you cleaned up back at my place, angel.” he offers out a hand, and you find yourself taking it without a single ounce of hesitation— either from fear or the ache between your legs.

I’m almost certain that Kell talks in his sleep sometimes.

Or at least mumbles things that don’t quite make sense, but clearly mean something.

I always imagined him as a deep sleeper, which we now know is canon, and I’ve also always imagined him as a sleep talker.

It wouldn’t surprise me if his emotions sort of took over while he sleeps. Like if he was dreaming about something, I think it would reflect that. Or if he’d been worrying about something.

Like, in Threads, we see that he won’t sleep if Lila isn’t there, because he worries about something bad happening to her, what with her tendency for trouble.

And when she’s finally there and he knows she’s safe, and they fall asleep, I can imagine him unconsciously mumbling things to her.

I like to imagine him mumbling I love you’s to her in one form or another.

I like to imagine her whispering it back while he sleeps. After all, it’s a much less scary thing to say that way.

Or maybe he just says the most incoherent things while he sleeps, and Lila is never able to make any sense out of it. I bet some nights, when she can’t sleep, she just lies beside him and listens.

Also, I can imagine years ago, when Kell and Rhy were only kids, the two of them building a den or a fort out of blankets and pillows to have a sleepover in (even though they have a literal corridor between their rooms).

I can picture Kell talking in his sleep, and Rhy whacking him on the head with a pillow, and telling him he’s making too much of a racket and he can’t sleep with all that noise. And Kell would frown and insist that he absolutely does not talk in his sleep.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the relationship between Tanya and Will, and. Maybe I contextualized it all wrong. Maybe their “romance” is the only breath of air these two characters get. Maybe it’s the only moment of solace in a lifetime of misery/general unhappiness. Maybe judging it as a morally incorrect relationship is wrong. After all, it was the first time William had been allowed to choose something for *himself,* and he chose her. And maybe it wasn’t the best choice, and maybe if he’d been given more ability to choose for himself throughout his life, he wouldn’t have chosen her, and maybe their relationship wasn’t healthy, but it was a moment where he felt like he was happy, or as close to it as he possibly could be, and maybe that’s what matters?

I’ve been listening to the song “Francis Forever” and it gives me the weirdest idea of an au where years down the road, William (who is no longer possessed) who has been acquitted or at least not found guilty for Tanya’s death despite KNOWING the circumstances of what happened to her, kind of thinks of Tanya with this sweet reverence. Maybe it wasn’t love, but they were young and exploring and figuring themselves out, and she meant so much to him.

Like specifically the line “On sunny days I go out walking/I end up on a tree lined street/I look up at the gaps of sunlight/I miss you more than anything” it makes me imagine this au version of Will just sadly reminiscing on what they had when they were both young…

So for the Off To series, I'm sure how much thought you've put into them, but what are the potential villain ideas for those stories? Would they be evil miraculous users or would you go for that magic vs magic you mentioned you would have liked to see? Off the top of my head I could see vampires in the Off to London story (though that could be all the Dracula stuff I've been watching talking).

A lot of this info I'm going to go ahead and share cause idk when the Off to series will come out. I haven't even started writing them, and I'd rather see Copycat, Manynette, and Dodged a Beetle done/farther along first. I also still need to sit and watch videos for the settings I'll be writing in, which I won't promise a 100% accuracy, but I am going to learn for the settings and do the best I can (which if there are any corrections to make when these fics come out, do please let me know if something needs to be changed or is wrong).

So, Off to London I haven't thought too much about aside from knowing for sure that Quantic Kids, Felix, and the waiter seen in concept art will be major characters alongside Marinette. Villains really has yet to come to mind. Vampries could work as there was a vampire villain in Pixie Girl.

But otherwise, villains have yet to really come to mind.

By default Felix will be antagonistic. There's that.

Also, some older designs that were really different than what we got will probably exist in Off to London as background classmates. One of these characters will even make an early appearance in the next chapter of Copycat.

Though, Off to Milan I had a lot more ideas for villains. I don't have a whole story planned out, but I do have some villains/antagonists.

Lila Rossi will be for sure, though probably more of a starting villain/antagonist since she is set to go to Paris after a while (towards the end of s1). As it's a given she'll be in Paris for the rest of canon, she probably won't be involved in any Miraculous or magic activity. She's just a two faced bully. She may be confirmed magical in some way and that's how she's able to lie and manipulate so easily but that's a thought for later.

Now other villains/antagonists, they exist through Pixie Girl, as she's one of the few concepts that showed off quite a bit of the cast and potential allies or threats and Off to Milan was planned to largely work off the mages we see as the antagonists.

Idk what's going to go on with them. Don't know what the goal will be. Don't even quite have down what they can do, but there are a few details I have down that are for sure:

They are a descendants of a long line of black mages, hailing from a magical clan/coven that has been kinda dying out, maaaaaybe descendants of Morgana le Fey; if so the family would definitely stick to le Fey as the surname, otherwise the surname will be related to night or darkness

The twins names are going to be Scarlet and Jasper, Scarlet is the more hotheaded of the two, very competitive and looks down on others, while Jasper is a little more toned down and sly; Scarlet is the favorite/preferred of the two, and likes combative/destructive magic, Jasper is more artistic, the dark artist, if you will; honestly these two will probably have some inspirations from Zuko and Azula

Pixie is set to have a crush on one of the two and it's enemies to lovers; initial plan is Jasper playing off that it seems Pixie had a crush on a boy and I think the initial plan was kinda another Love Square scenario between Pixie and the Wizard; but not a 100%, that's more of what I predicted, if the show ever came out.

I am pretty open on potential ships for Off to Milan, so Pixie can easily crush on Scarlet instead. Honestly, only for sure I have is Pixie crushing on one of the twins and everything else is pretty open to happen.

And that's pretty much all I got planning wise that is for sure for Off to Milan. I will say, IF the specials for Lady Lion and Lady Butterfly do come out before this fic does, then any villains introduced could wind up included.

Though it would be a little bit of a bummer cause I wanted to try and play around with these characters before they became official but given my writing progress, if it happens, not the end of the world. I'll just make the necessary adjustments and we keep on keeping on.

Rewatching an LP of 9 hours 9 persons 9 doors for the umpteenth time (nor sure if I'll watch the rest of Zero Escape yet) and. God. I truly cannot emphasise enough how much these games shaped my views on philosophy and psychology, or how well fucking implemented they are as narrative driven games. Just thinking alot abt the concept of being able to receive knowledge from alternate timelines in the form of Vibea or dejavu. Like. You got Bad Vibes on someone and ydont know why? That's cause an alternative version of you got severely fucked over by them babieeeee.

Theyre just the pinnacle of multiverse science fiction to me. Only rivaled by Everything Everywhere All At Once. Like frankly I'd you want to understand me on a base level you just gotta be familiar with these two medias and alot of big picture stuff will click into place

Also Seven and Lotus are incredible. Just saying.
