So GBA has made content regarding how some of his characters from different series would interact (eg. Albus meeting Zed, Albus meeting Yargwin ect) in YouTube shorts and ticktocks and that got me thinking about how the listener characters would interact with each other so I've compiled a list of headcanons for how I think the listeners would get along!
Arkov & faithful:
I feel like faithful would be f*king terrified of Arkov (just cos you know...hybrid) meanwhile Arkov is just there like: •-•
Like no one can understand why anyone would even be mildly terrified of Arkov but faithful will unapologetically hide behind Albus (or literally anyone closest to her) whenever she sees her.
Meanwhile Arkov is just blissfully ignorant to it all cos no one has the heart to tell her why faithful acts the way she dose around her. Its just like:
Arkov: why is faithful hiding behind Albus?
Yargwin/kalomos: ignore her your perfect
Arkov: umm ok...? ● - ●
Arkov & darling:
I kinda feel like they'd just vibe while sitting silently. Like I can't think of anything specific for these two. I just feel like they'd ✨vibe✨ you know?
Darling & faithful:
I don't know about you but I feel like these two would f*king hate each other. Like I can't think of any specific reason as to why but I'm just picturing constant banter, back handed comments, if those two are in the same room together the tension would be so thick you could cut it with dental floss.
Guardian & Arkov:
I feel like the guardian would be like unintentionally really disrespectful towards her but not realise it. This is kinda just because of a GBA post on here where he depicts the guardian referring to Arkov as an "unlicensed test tube baby" and idk I feel like that would really offend Arkov but the guardian wouldn't realise it cos...thats what they are and they'd just think that their being honest.
Guardian & faithful:
Ok this can go one of two ways. 1 faithful sees the guardian as a god and dosnt know how to act around them or 2 she sees them as a false God and dosnt like them. Both resulting in the guardian feeling really uncomfortable around her
Faithful & karmor:
I kinda feel like if they ever where to meet, Karmor would see her as kinda like a cool older sister and she would see him as kinda like a lost puppy. I like the idea of karmor asking her advise about how to do stuff (cough* hipswich is stuff cough*) and she'd give the GOOD advise.
This is the same with most of the other listeners in regards to Karmor.

(Yeah I know he isn't a listener but hear me out!)
I feel like they'd bond over the little things like:
Zed: my crush abandoned me
Arkov: omg same!
That being said I do also think he'd ask a lot of personal questions about the whole hybrid thing. You know in episode 1 of MOTH where the guardian literally had to cover his mouth to get him to stop asking intrusive questions? Yeah that. While good intentioned I do think it would go somthing like:
Zed: rambling questions about being a hybrid*
Arkov: slowly gets closer and just puts a hand over his moth* zed, sweetheart, I mean this in the nicest way possible, but please shut the fuck up
Zed: kinda terrified* oh...yeah..ok...sorry

So I'm thinking about doing Business
I'm going to experimentally pay for Tumblr's "Blaze" on one of my posts to see what the effect is, if any. I don't plan to use it often, but if I'm using this site as part of my silly little content creator job, maybe it makes sense to advertise some things?
I don't even know what it would make sense to use that feature on, either... posts with my official video releases? Stuff like that article I wrote about the experience of going viral? ... posts about my merch store? (oh god I don't want to advertise the merch store, I haven't added anything to it in ages).
Anyway, if you see one of my posts with a "promoted" tag on it, that's why. Just figuring out if that's something that should be part of my job on here. There are some extended personal reflections on using Tumblr for My Job™ below the cut.
On the other hand, Twitter was never that much of a Business Platform for me, either. That site and app is insanely bad at driving traffic anywhere else, which is part of why its ad revenue was so low depite the huge user base. Getting people to click away from Twitter to anywhere else is like pulling teeth, even for people with million dollar marketing budgets, and so I just... kinda never tried, really. Partly because it never seemed worth the work, partly because it was my personal Twitter before it accidentally became my Business Twitter.
Tumblr in that regard is different though. Four years ago, someone posted an outtake from a shitpost video I did laughing myself half to death over an article about how millennials are killing mayonnaise. That outtake went some degree viral on Tumblr, and that virality did prompt a lot of people to go find the full video on YouTube, making it briefly the most successful video on my whole channel.
So I dunno. Maybe it makes sense to use Tumblr for Business™ in that way. Not that I think I can manufacture a viral hit, of course, but maybe paying to have my work shown to more people on here could be worth it? I guess I'll find out once that Blaze goes through the moderation.
It sorta ties in with a broader pre-post-Twitter reflection I've been having about how I use social media, though.
I don't want to be my job
My personal twitter became my business twitter entirely by accident, and while it was fun at first to have thousands of followers on my personal shitposting, it wasn't fun at all in the long run. At a certain point, usually somewhere past the 10k follower boundary (or if you had the misfortune of having a pre-Elon checkmark), people stop treating you like a person or a fellow poster, and start treating you like a brand, a celebrity (however minor), like a Public Figure. And on the one hand that's good, kinda, because if you have a larger platform, you do deserve more scrutiny. On the other hand, it means you can't be a person on your own social media.
Dark humor, in-jokes, dumb shitposts with friends, dunking on some random hot take, all of that starts to come with the danger that some stranger, who is determined to misunderstand what you post in the absolute worst possible faith, will see it and start yelling about it.
And if, as a person who has a bigger platform, you yell back at them, or dunk on their bullshit... yeah, there's a real risk that you're the one being the bigger asshole, actually. When you have a big Twitter audience, you have some responsibilty for what happens to the things you put in front of that audience. And if you have fans, they might want to defend you, and if you have a lot of fans, some percentage of them aren't going to know how to act or where the line is, and go way the fuck too far.
It's the reality of having a public profile. People will come at you in absolutely wild ways, accusing you of saying absolutely insane things that they have derived from truly deranged (often willful) misinterpretations, and you can't respond to that like a person responds, or you run the risk of being the one who does more harm.
And so you can't be a person on your social media anymore. You now have to be a Public Figure, and if you don't figure that out you're gonna get in trouble. I should have made a private friends-only account on Twitter far, far earlier than I did, I should have made an official brand account far, far earlier than I did. But the only way to know that is in hindsight.
... which leads me back to Tumblr. I've been thinking about Doing Business™ on Tumblr - Blazing my posts, doing SEO, promoting my brand and all that other shit that technically comes with the job I ostensibly have.
I fled back here when I saw Twitter start to torch itself, because I need to post somewhere, but do I need to post for myself, as a person?
Or do I need to post because I am TBSkyen the YouTuber and posting is part of my job, my brand and my online personality which I crafted as a layer of separation between myself and the audience but which has at this point become so entangled with my real self that I don't know the boundaries between them anymore?
Am I going to look back on this and realize, as I did on Twitter, that I should have made a private, friends-only Tumblr account right from the start, and not mixed the personal with the professional and with Posting? I have around 2000 followers right now and this is still fun and casual, but what happens if I manage to luck myself into a real following again? When am I going to dunk on something I think is dumb and cause the person who posted it to receive actionable threats because someone who likes my videos doesn't know how the fuck to act?
Anyway, this is the kind of shit that gets powerblasted through my brain when I pay $10 to make some more people see one of my posts on a website - how's your morning going?

kirby's been a big interest of mine ever since i played triple deluxe on my 3ds xl in like 2018 idefk
its kinda apart of my personality tbh. i really like lovecraftian horrors now and ive tried to mimick some of the kirby style in my own stories (best example being my bugs having eyes more similar to halcandra dees than the bug fables or hollow knight)
when i was a kid, i didnt really think much about the story of games i played.
i just went 'ohohoho. oheeeheehee. i kil yu.'
but, once i got my hands on lore youtube, oH MY GOD.
to summarize it, kirby triple deluxe is basically
there is a beanstalk
it takes you to floating islands!
grow the beanstalk to save the fairies who live on the islands from the evil queen!
the evil queen has an evil henchman (OF WHOM I THOUGHT WAS A GIRL. TARANZA. NAME ENDS IN AN A. THATS A FEMININE NAMING SCHEME. ALSO BRUV YOUR HAIR CONFUSED 8 YEAR OLD ME WHO DIDNT KNOW WHAT BISEXUALS WERE) who is doing her evils as well!
fight the evil henchman spider and fight the queen herself!
she fuses with a flower and you take her down with a giant ass laser! (american kirby. now in theatres near you)
that's the plot.
but the lore is kinda dark. duh, this is kirby.
if you've seen my call-out post, you know the basic jist of the lore. if you havent seen it, i'll explain
taranza got his wife, sectonia, a mirror for a gift! since she loved admiring her appearance
that mirror was the amazing mirror, a portal to the mirror dimension!
now i dont know how the fuck this happened but it fucked her up! and turned! her! in! to! a! bee!
she wanted to be as beautiful as human(spider?)ly possible so she turned into a bee ig
taranza assured her she was beautiful, but respected her changes
sectonia grew mad, trying to become as beautiful as possible, and fused with the dreamstalk/flower i mentioned above
and dies
now thats dark!
but here's where it gets interesting
i was in the shower like
sectonia was chill and okay with herself
someone provided her with a way to notice how cool she was
sectonia realized she wanted to be better because wow! someone said i was cool! i want that again!
sectonia then tried everything in her power to become beautiful, to gain that compliment!
and people told her, 'yeah sectonia! you are beautiful! you are drop dead gorgeous!'
sectonia did not believe them!
so she strove to be better!
and eventually the compliments probably didnt mean anything to her! they probably went out one ear and out the other!
and so these compliments didnt have the same effect as they previously did! but sectonia wanted the good compliments! she still wanted to be beautiful!
but the compliments didnt work
and so in a sisyphus like situation, she drove herself mad, dying for what she craved and yet couldnt recieve
and shower me was like
damn!
i kinda realized
i was chill and okay with myself
someone provided me with a way to notice how cool i was
i realized i wanted to be better because wow! someone said i was cool! i want that again!

i need to get this off my chest its been in me for too long
i think deco 27 songs ever since vampire and onwards don't really hit at all excluding salamander, deco really peaked there it was a very nice song
i just finished listening to his latest song, rabbit hole and compared to zombies or journey it's definitely better but it feels kinda idk maybe im just missing his less upbeat style (that's definitely the case) because all these songs feel lukewarm to me at best and i feel like the lukewarm thing can apply to many more
i also think when voca-p's make songs for the sake of prsk it never goes right because they release it in vocaloid with human singing in mind and i was never really a fan of the prsk covers, im sure there are some good ones but so far overall its a very hit or miss thing with most going miss
because i think in most cases vocaloid songs are sang through vocaloid for a reason and it has to be made with vocaloid in mind and majority songs made for prsk felt mid (cosmospice didn't do anything for me despite my overflowing love for Pinocchio-p)

i know im sounding like a huge pissed off vocaloid "i think im better than you prsk lovers, i play project diva im a real one" person but dont get me wrong i love how vocaloid is getting a revival through prsk and the new genre/style of vocaloid is booming and i have a profound respect for people who play prsk and are good at it, i can clear up til 9.5 ex/exex songs on project diva all i want but i somehow cant do shit on proseka and watching gameplay is always amazing
i do admit they bang and i like the people who are discovering or even rediscovering vocaloid due to the resurge and i do admit some human covers of vocaloid originals do them justice (ahem miyuu ahem) this is just a very in general observation
im pretty much navigating through multiple topics but another thing im gonna add is nowadays i personally dont see heavy story telling based songs a lot i might be shit at finding them so if anyone sees this and think i am so wrong please prove me wrong with those sweet sweet YouTube/nico nico links but anyways things like the evillious chronicles hell not even that much even things like what hitoshizuku x yama does or the shama series
i also kinda miss how the artists draw the vocaloids themselves for the characters in the story or songs just outright about vocaloids interacting with other vocaloids like a little slice of life but i dont really want to complain too much because seeing individual and iconic designs for songs is also nice
i think thats all, my head stores a lot of thoughts towards vocaloid wait til you see me talking about MEIKO and her tuning and how i grieve for her everyday because I've found so many songs that sound nice but the way people tune her breaks the song but in the cases where she it tuned skilfully i drop down to my knees in amazement and i will stop there because i know i might spiral into this whole separate thing
so yeah i might be a hater at times,i can spend a whole 24 hours shittalking corn (I'll get on that some day) but you know what I'm not a hater of?

Defunctland Disney Theme Documentary -A Critical Analysis-
so after a shit day of existing in public and thinking about my art, ive watched these videos of these very obscure youtubers :
the Defunctland video had me feeling we will never have a clear confirmation of who wrote the disney jingle. it's easy enough to get more information in the roblox video where the boss of the company (Tommy Tallarico) is so obviously putting himself out there any chance he has, even when he really should not. This man has seemingly always been kind of unlikeable, yet mostly tolerated for his entire career. On the other hand, hbomberguy mentioned the actual work of Joey Kuras, being the self-credited designer of all sound effects from.....most of the games that Tommy Tallarico Studios worked on for sound design. Joey Kuras also made the glorious sound design of the Fortnite Pick Squeak pickaxe, which is the best fucking fortnite pickaxe, after the scampi slugs pickaxe which is criminally underrepresented in the Fortnite Pickaxe Tier Lists, but whatever. Weirdly enough, none of haze's pickaxes are on the tierlist despite their extremely cool design theme, either. I didn't find the cool neon shark one, or the neon street signs either. Heh, whatever, just look at all of these I just mentioned. They're all above the pick squeak, naturally.
I'd say the vuvuzela pickaxe comes second after the pick squeak because obviously it does, it makes the player's brain enter football mode trying to activate the sound by finding a netcage and kick a ball into it, and the homestuck reference comes third because it's a good omen of what's to come. Then the balloon pickaxe is a strong fourth as it also makes great sounds of the balloons rubbing each other when you hit the air with it. Much subtler as far as sound design goes, but definitely a strong pick.
Honorable mentions go to the brightly colored dumbbell pickaxe, the splatoon pickaxe, and the drum pickaxe. Other notable pickaxes include a camera pickaxe, a pizza cutter pickaxe, but also a stop sign battleaxe pickaxe (which I feel is a very sapphic mood) as well as the obvious crowbar, going far in the anti-authoritarian aesthetic. There's also the survivalist shovel that's pretty cool, as well as a bunch of others whose shapes surprisingly escape my understanding altogether. And then there is the trash, where the pickaxe stabbing a shark goes (the shark isn't even neon at this point !!! Trash).
Those are the forgettable ones. Yeah, the planet pickaxe is forgettable and doesn't even appeal to a cosmic aesthetic. It looks like a toy, and if you want a toy pickaxe just buy the pick squeak next time it comes in the shop. Get yourself ready with the fortnite trackers and shit, its only 1500 Vbucks. Worth it even if you don't play the game. Its what, the price of an entire meal ? Come on. Worth it.
Anyway god damn it.
Aside from that. Yeah. I think the Defunctland video couldn't do as much of a good investigation job because it's about Disney. As a mediatic monopoly on media, you can't simply retrace the work people made as well as in a company that was seemingly just two ex-Virgin employees trying to make a sound design company work out.
In the Defunctland video, the only clear confirmation we get that Alex Lasarenko is the composer of the melody the entire video is about is by Andrea Taylor, the previous Senior Vice President of Disney Channel. Which by all accounts has never worked in the sound design of any of disney's projects.
Her job was to "create" personalities for networks, as in : be the link between a brand and the artists that will then rework its identity. Organize contractors, including Tonal Sound, which was founded by Alex Lasarenko after leaving Elias Music in 2002, the same year the actual jingle was composed and used on the channel. I think it's important to keep in mind that Alex Lasarenko is said to have been the "creative director" of both companies (Elias and Tonal), which I think is not the right term.
Creative directors are assigned from the start of a specific project, no matter the industry. Someone will assume the leading role in order to help focusing said project in one direction, making sure it doesn't get carried away to become something entirely different in the process. It's mostly a managerial role which does imply a strong grasp on the domain's technicalities, as a creative director can absolutely directly contribute to the project.
The issue is, Alex Lasarenko was also the executive of both these projects that were contracted by disney. What's absolutely certain at this point is that the theme song has been made under Alex Lasarenko, whether it's at Elias or Tonal. My take is, it was probably made under Elias as they still seem to be a provider for the Disney audio identity to this day, as shown on their website. On the other hand, there is no way to check online what specific projects Tonal Sounds worked on, unfortunately, as it's been shut down since.
And because Eric Perlmutter wrote the "Let's Watch a Disney Channel Movie" Theme under Tonal Sound after having followed Alex Lasarenko out of Elias, while still not knowing who actually made the jingle, I think it's safe to say Alex Lasarenko didn't actually make it on his own. The direction taken for the bumpers's music was much more vague than if it was passed down to Eric Perlmutter by the composer of the original jingle himself.

Kevin : "Wait so you didn't write the theme, but you wrote with the theme ?"
Eric : "Yes, so we would have the theme. Mostly for those, we just had so much fun with them[...]because they're so short."
-talking about his experience, contracted by Disney within Elias Associates, working under the leadership of Alex Lasarenko. Which then goes on to talk about the sheer status of Elias Music (formerly known as Elias Art or Elias Associates). Eric saying "we" as a pronoun when he's talking about getting to work with the pre-made 4 notes from the disney channel's theme song reminds me of something.

Yeah, that's the answer. It was Joey who wrote the disney jingle.
More seriously, the actual important bit in the Defunctland video is at 59:06 where Kevin asks Eric about the status of Elias as a company, to which Eric responds in a very, thematically interesting way :
Eric : "I think the company tried to harness this idea of "there are no individuals here" [...] You aren't allowed to be known."
This is basically the conclusion hbomb makes in his video, mentioning how easy it is for a huge company to simply erase these names over time, as most of the work is done to establish quickly brand image and never to actually help conserve the work and allow artists to have their own career paths accessible on the long term.
Eric actually tells us about how big Elias was, and how intimidating it was to work under Alex Lasarenko in his interview, but that they were good friends and worked a lot together. The documentary seems to derail from "trying to find out" who wrote the song, to a post-mortem tribute to Alex Lasarenko, which unfortunately might still not be the one who technically created the song.
Eric mentions his former boss as the "ringleader" of all of the Elias composers, which does fit his established job as executive. The striking choice of words that go right after is the bit that made me the most emotional from the entire video though :
Eric : "Its tough when you have a boss who's a genius and who's just an absolute music prodigy, and you're just a dumb rock bass player trying to[...] breathe the same air as him"
The previous interviewee, David Little,has been working with Alex for a long time, and said "He was one of those guys, if a camera came out, he was outta here" which is definitely a healthier way to deal with working in the industry than Tommy Tallarino , thats for sure. (watch hbomb's video if you haven't done already, its great)
The interviewing session ends with Andrea Taylor telling us she worked with Alex Lasarenko back on her TNT job, where they used an orchestra to rework the channel's audio identity, probably lead by Alex himself, within that five years job.
But within the more recent disney job, Andrea Taylor tells us a lot about how the entire job went down, with a lot of very evil meetings to create demands within kids for upcoming disney movies by producing disney merch and special bumpers a whole year before said movie would even release (specifically known about "the "The Lizzy McGuire Movie" and the "Finding Nemo" movie, thanks to this interview).
At no point does Andrea seem to have any real insight in the artistic creation of every element that goes into the rebranding, she only organizes them and makes sure they all the different contractors do the work on time, by talking with the executives. Which does lead me to believe this here is a case of actual long term erasure of the person who created this melody, when she immediately credits Alex Lasarenko because she knows him as the one responsible for musical departments she used for her job.
Kevin : "Do you remember anything from the production, when he was writing the theme ?"
Andrea : "You know, he probably did it in like a day or two. Things just came to him. He was amazing. I mean he probably wouldn't have said he wrote it in a day, he probably would've said Oh I struggled over it for months !"
She wasn't there, unfortunately. She wasn't producing it. She is not a producer after all, she is a bachelor of communications from Boston University.
Kevin then goes on to call the producer Andy Solomon thanks to Andrea sending him his contact information, but Kevin isn't shown asking for confirmation that Alex really did write the theme, even though Solomon probably supervised the entire thing. Maybe it was cut, but from this point onwards the video becomes a hommage to Lasarenko instead. His sister Lisa Lasarenko then talks about his genius-like qualities as an artist, followed by David Little who also praises the "effortless" nature of his entire craft.
To me, this documentary concludes on this idealized depiction of a quiet artist who made sure he wouldn't appear on cameras his entire life, highlighted by the fact that Kevin found only one photo of him on his obituary. He was the anti-Tommy Tallarino, never attempting to reach the spotlights in his life, yet working for a massive sound company whose entire goal is to centralize sound production as well as completely erase all names from the work.
In the end, there is no real confirmation Alex wrote the theme (unless Kevin has footage of the producer having insight on when and how the theme was created exactly, which would probably be in the video if it was the case.) We just know he was leading the people who did, with never any trace of whether it was him or another one of his coworkers, or if it was a collaborative effort. We might never know who actually sat down and researched this jingle, in the end. His producer does tell us they composed an old jingle for On-Core food services together, but that's all we're getting.
Everyone also seems to say about Lasarenko that he was working incredibly fast and could switch genres on a whim. But these are standard expectations any media company will hold unto any composer they hire ! Both Eric Perlmutter and David Norland actually give a lot of insight in how they created the varying themes, and also how much each of them built up on this mnemonic tone adding their own twist.
Anyway this is a lot. I lied about the website having a satisfying disney logo on their client lists, which wasn't smooth if you remember well the video anyway. Elias doesnt have Disney + as a client. I just thought. Why did they not put disney on there, even though they obviously got major work done for them, and an empty space on the website where a perfect little Disney logo would fit or something. Come on Elias, fill up that brand square, you got an empty spot. Like sure they might not be "featured clients" but which company its in right mind would actually miss an opportunity to say "I made this ribbon mouse era happen" right ?? I barely even watched disney channel in my life and I still know about the motion of the wand IDs. This is a missed opportunity to brag, which is out of character for a corporation.
I talked mostly about Defunctland's video because it touched me in this specific way, but also kind of sent me chills about how efficient the actual music & editing of a video can be to convey subtle messaging. Being afraid of actually entering the animation industry with all the shit you can read about, there's absolutely a lot of ways artists get exploited, erased and even their image distorted for profit.
In the end I'm glad youtubers are talking about these subjects in such rigorous ways, as it's a very important part of how the newer generations (me included) perceive the various industries we aspire to invest ourselves in. There is never enough conversation had around the subjects of media ownership, art creation and overall what's going inside our industries, and I am so glad it's the focus of accessible works anyone can watch and think about nowadays.

This episode broke me.

I am a broken creature & my heart has been thoroughly stomped into the ground.
This is....this is the best episode so far....but it's achieved the status of best by absolutely tearing me apart in every way & leaving my emotions as a pile of tear soaked dust.
Okay before we get to that: I have one thing to say....
GARNET HAS MASSIVE AND PLENTIFUL BALLS. Look this post ended up being a lot more personal & emotional than this blog usually has been so I'm giving you a balls joke to balance it out. I have a feeling that there will be more emotional venting if this episode is an indicator of what the rest of the show is like: we're gonna need all the dick & ball jokes we can muster up.
First off: easily the best musical number in the show so far. Yes even better than Pearl's solo number. And I do not say that lightly. That is a tough level to beat. And they did it. Steven & Amethyst take the gold medal for best song so far. 👌
ALSO OH MY GOD THESEE SHOTS THESE COLOURS THIS DJFJFNDIFJW ITS SO FUCKING GOOD????????

So getting a bit personal here: I have said many times throughout my life that 'I never asked to be born'. I still think it now.
(Side Note but oh my god the animation in this fight was fucking incredible. Holy shit. And these shots go so fucking hard they COOKED this shit to perfection.)
Ive been depressed & passively suicidal for most of my life. I honestly cannot really recall a time where I didn't feel this way. I'm just kinda used to it by now I guess.
(This shot. This frame right here. This was when I had to pause the episode to calm down from how bad I was crying.)
So to hear Amethyst say the exact same thing that I have said so many times before: That broke me. That just fucking broke me. And like it's not the first time I cried at this show so far: BUT this IS the first time the show genuinely struck an such an extremely difficult & personal chord with me, not just like being sometihng I relate to, but the chord it struck was deep & painful enough that I had to actually pause the episode because of how much I needed to process it. Like I could not pay attention with how bad it made me break. So yeah it's now score 1 for the amount of times this show has fucking utterly destroyed me. Not every show is able to get me to react like THAT. The only other show in recent memory that got that reaction out of me that I can remember at the time of typing this is well, The Owl House. To be fair I haven't watched too too many new shows but yeah. This got me crying badly enough that I had to take a moment to calm down. Wasn't expecting to have that nerve struck like that.
That just hit on a personal chord for me & just....fuck man. I know that feeling. And they nailed how it feels. Amethysts reaction was exactly how it feels for me, just outwardly anger & tears. It hurts. Obviously anger & crying is simplifying it a lot, it's a lot more than just baseline that but you get what I mean. You could tell that she was feeling that exact way. & holy shit the fact that she's been the "comedic relief" of the gems so far & yet she's had easily the most fucked up & sad backstory of the show so far. Yeah if catching me off guard & completely blindsiding me with this was the goal: Goal fucking achieved because that was like a whack to my fucking face with a frying pan.
So....like, is this gonna be a reoccuring thing? I just.....get the feeling that this is a sign that the show absolutely fucking me up emotionally may become a more frequent thing going forward. So like, if that is the case......fuck. I'm so fucked. I am going to be a fucking wreck by the end of this show. This is gonna fucking leave me a sobbing mess, isn't it? What the fuck have I gotten myself into-
I am afraid. Also I am going to need to buy more tissues.
And the scene where Pearl & Amethyst speak in the hole is some of the best writing in any CN show. Ever.
(Also to break up the depressing talk, OH MY GOD I LOVE THAT PEARL IS SO FUCKING TALL THAT SHE HAS TO BEND DOWN AND SIT STANDING UP ON HER TIPPY TOES. THAT'S SO FUCKING ADORABLE I LOVE HER I AM GOING TO FUCKING LOSE IT.)
This episode was absolutely perfect.

hey remember when i talked a lot about maté and Trunks and Goten and maté? I think while the whole maté situation is calming down they would fuse again for reasons that they don't even know-
they really just do that shit sometimes at this point and being Gotenks is a 30 minute gamble cuz he either does something awesome or spends them all watching the spiderman movie trilogy via a 30 minute ytph (hispanic youtube poop, i mention the hispanic part because there is literally a 30 minute ytph of spiderman on youtube and i watched it in one of my most deranged states possible, such as the one i'm writing this to you in) and like they don't even remember the ytph clearly so it wasn't even worth it like what the fuck Gotenks we're never fusing again (they fuse again a couple of days later)
Ok the point was they would stop their Maté Cold War and fuse again and when they unfused they would find themselves in the capsule kitchen surrounded by wet yerba (the plant yknow that maté is) and like sugar and water all over the floor and its a huge fucking mess and there's a maté cup turned over and the thermos is on the floor too and there's a broken glass juice jar with ice that hasn't melted yet and their mouths taste like grass and have no fucking clue what just happened.
They never really find out but they know it must have been bad, absolutely fucking terrible even, and after getting like scolded and made to clean GOTENKS' mess they decide to put their stupid maté aside for GOOD and now they get together to drink it like normal fucking people and now Trunks makes terere for Goten on purpose and he's like "yo dude i made this for you" because he has chilled out (about the maté thing not about anything else) and Goten would be like "haha aww you do give a shit Trunks oh my god" and they would be normal about maté. except not really. because those boys have a primal strangeness to them that i don't think will ever go away, and that's like, awesome i think, it's lovely even.
Anyway that was that but now im thinking about like after this event maybe their families notice that they fucking stopped with the whole "*makes you drink maté* and *EXPLODES YOU WITH MY MIND*" thing and maybe they do like a thing with all the Z fuckos at Bulma's house again like "yeah let's get together and have a drink and hang out why not since these little idiots have finally stopped arguing about the cooler tea" and
i don't fucking know where i was going with this actually i just had two ideas about this possible scenario
Goku and Vegeta attempting to have maté together alongside everyone else and probably fail miserably because they are. them. you know them. Also Goku would probably drink maté with sugar and Vegeta would fucking hate that i think
Yamcha is there.
"Yamcha is there" is open to interpretation but i personally think he would have a look at Trunks preparing the maté and he'd be pleasantly surprised.. Also he's one of those guys that puts extra herbs and stuff on maté like orange peels or a little coffee or sweetens his with burnt sugar caramel....
Yamcha is very gaucho-esque to me in a very special way like he's a lot like Goku in the way they both have this very warm welcoming rural aura to them but Yamcha is more like my grandma that would go to the countryside of Santiago Del Estero and come back with ostrich eggs?? and would make me omelettes with ostrich eggs sometimes?? and let me keep the eggshell and paint it and stuff- Yamcha would do that to trunks he would go to the countryside and be back with something for him and he'd tell him tips about making maté and stories about the animals and stuff cuz i would be like 8 years old and my grandma would be back from Santiago and she'd be like "i killed a chicken :) and we ate it" and i'd be like woow grandma thats so awesome you're so cool and i think Yamcha would be back and he'd be like "Que onda pibe adivina que te traje del campo?"(what's up kid, guess what i brought you from the countryside?) and maybe he'd bring him like-

It's like Gotenks is a metaphor for whatever potency is occurring between Goten & Trunks, he's a manifestation of their union, and so his life's purpose / natural way is to behave in a manner conducive to the necessary expression & resolution of whatever Goten & Trunks are going through. They both secretly are missing the days when they used to make youtube poops together, and so Gotenks watches that spiderman ytph. Their past maté disagreements are incurring subtle rifts in their bond and the silence regarding is beginning to ache, so Gotenks unwittingly mobilizes to address & negotiate with this distress by trying to make maté POORLY in the capsule kitchen.

And Vegeta would be mad no matter WHAT Goku does . He would be like "why do you put sugar in it, kakarot ..!" and then be like "quit hogging it, kakarot..!"

About a month ago, I read 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' based on a recommendation from a friend. It had some good points and bad ones.
Good points:
It is super important for me to have discussions with my kids about how to handle money, what their options are with the money I've given them, and what that means for standard of living, activities, etc.
It is very important in people's lives to have someone advising them about money, instead of just leaving them to fend for themselves and figure it out on their own.
If you already have money (like tens or hundreds of thousands of unencumbered cash), then there are a lot of relatively low risk, low labor means to put that money to work for you and generate income. It's a lot less tedious than, say, working for a living. But you have to have the money FIRST.
The various principles laid out in the book caused me to move my money around. Now instead of retiring in 4 years and leaving nothing to my kids in inheritance unless I died early, because I'd need everything to fund my retirement, I'm going to retire end of next year and leave millions, assuming I live that long. And if I don't, then there will still be a nest egg. Same standard of living for me either way.
Bad points:
Gotdamn does this guy undersell how hard it is to get your hands on enough money to start with to do this. It takes generations and he doesn't acknowledge that.
He also undersells the value and rarity of someone giving you good advice at every turn, feeding you opportunities, and picking you up when you fall ... and never victimizing or abusing you in the process.
He makes almost no mention of the severe adversities many people find in their lives, like chronic health problems, useless or abusive partners, addiction, expensive hobbies, terrible families, bad luck, accidents, legal problems, and the like. Some of these you have a little control over; a lot of them you don't; and even with barely controllable things like partners and family you don't know its bad until its already bad and its not exactly too late at that point, but it really sucks.
So anyway, I tried to get my kids to listen to the audiobook. No dice. I found it on YouTube for free. No doing. I bought the guy's Cashflow board game. Huzzah! They played it a couple times. This let us talk about things. (I mean, I'd already tried talking to them, but trying to discuss the relative merits of savings account vs t-bills vs etfs was not making much progress.)
We talked about:
What's a mortgage and why can't I just be homeless and not pay that
Why are my expenses so high
Why are children expensive
Why do I have to pay for a loan (I was surprised and shocked they only barely understood interest rates. My inability to communicate effectively about investments made sense now. I have failed as a parent. But I'm trying to fix it.) also: why is a credit score important
What the fuck why does this boat cost so damn much?!? (the boat is the most expensive piece of shit doodad you can get saddled with in the game; I talked to them about the dangers of expensive hobbies)
OH MY FUCKING GOD I ONLY MISSED ONE PAYCHECK AND I AM RUINED (because ... yeah. that's real)
What does 'yield' mean
What's a trading range
And a bunch of other things. I also talked to them about the things the game does not include, those things I mentioned earlier like accidents, addictions, lawsuits, and health problems, or the same happening to anyone you financially support or feel beholden to, like a partner or child or possibly parent. I talked to them about the mentality of 'my savings always gets wasted on emergencies so why bother having any', which is valid and real, as well as a rational reaction to a maddingly irrational situation.
An interesting thing about the game - there's no rule for or against giving money to each other. And it makes a huge difference in propelling someone from the rat race stage of the game where you're working for a living and into the cashflow part of the game where your money is working for you instead. In the two games we played, I ended up ahead early each time (half of this I credit to good decisions while my kids were making dumb ones, even after I told them they were dumb choices; half was probably luck). But each time once I had my position secured, I started giving wads of cash to them and it was remarkable how much that improved their situation.
Kind of like real life.
I also read Bullshit Jobs a couple weeks ago and it ends with a lovely piece about the social value of universal basic income. Which, yeah. We need to do that.

It is me! The Infodump Fairy! I have come to cast a spell upon you that will cause you to ramble for way too long about Trolls! Please, o’ talented one, tell me why this series has captivated you so!
(Ok but seriously I’ve seen your stuff for it (which fucking SLAPS btw) and this is a series I’ve never really been very interested in, so I’m very curious about what draws you to it! Only if you want to share, of course! As you can see, I am not a real fairy and my spells are fake lol)

Asfdhgd seriously though, believe me, I have no problem rambling about Trolls all day jvjfjhf. This is not gonna be very coherent, so sorry in advance. 😅 (Also, thank you, I'm so glad you like my work! <3)
Okay so. I've actually been here since the trailer for the first movie came out (I wasn't very active in the fandom back then, though). I was already invested from that moment on, specifically in the two main characters, Poppy and Branch, and their dynamic, who I took one look at and said, "yeah, I ship that" hfjhf. I think what mostly got to me was the characters, the designs, the fact that it's such a fun and colorful world, and of course, the music. The songs are so good! Like, all of them. Yes, they are mostly just covers of already popular songs with some word changes here and there, but my GOD, are they good covers! But anyway, love me a musical with fun characters! Personally, I think all of the characters have deeper issues about them than what you can see on the surface and what you would expect from a children's movie franchise. Like, Branch has so much trauma it really just feels like in every movie they are just trying to give him more and more problems hdkhdjd. Which of course, makes him a pretty compelling character altogether. Do other characters have as deep issues as him? Some of them. But like, they don't really have that much screentime, sadly. While Poppy and Branch are equally important characters in the first movie (and well, in all of the movies, imo), the second movie is what I would dub as "Poppy's Character Development - The Movie" jgkjfjfj. While the first movie operates with the whole "happiness is inside of all of us, we just need someone to help us find it" kinda message (which doesn't fully stick the landing but oh well), the second goes for stuff like differences, equality (of sorts), and tbh some kind of colonialism metaphor?? It also widens the world of trolls as we've known it, as we learn of other tribes of trolls, who are all connected through different kinds of music. So the whole worldbuilding here just makes things even more interesting.
Now the third movie. In the words of youtuber Mann of 1000 Thoughts, it "gives no fucks in all the right ways". Tbh the Trolls timeline has already been questionable, as is, with the Netflix tv shows that came out after the first and second movies, but this just throws another ranch in the system, and says fuck you to the timeline altogether jckbfh. Like, I managed to make it work once I dedicated a good half hour figuring out how Branch's secret long lost brothers who he was in a band with when he was a baby fit into the picture, but it's not perfect even then. There would definitely still be plotholes gkfhfgf. But at this point you just gotta turn your suspension of disbelief on and just go along with it, cuz it is SUCH a fun experience besides all that. (This goes for all the movies btw. Turn your brain off, you're gonna have a great time jfkhf.) Ngl this is the movie that really got me to jump right back into the fandom with full force, and now I'm back to thinking about all of the previous movies as well and appreciating all of the characters. Tbh when I watched the trailer for the third movie, I thought that the whole long lost brothers storyline was the worst idea they have ever come up with, and then I watched the movie and I was like, "fuck this is the best thing ever" gjfgdhd. Idk, we learn enough about Branch's brothers for them to be compelling characters of their own, while we also have a 20 year old gap in which we can pretty much imagine anything into, cuz we don't actually know all the details about how they got to where they are today after the band broke up. Idk, it's like a sandbox you can play in. And that is so much fun. Also, yeah. The music in the third movie also SLAPS! I listened to the soundtrack on loop for a week after watching it jfkhfh.
The humor is also great in all of the movies, in my opinion. I think my humor operates on Trolls standards at this point, which everyone can decide for themselves if it is good or not hkfjfj. I'm having fun so that's all that matters to me.
But yeah, it's just. Idk. It's difficult to pinpoint something very specific that lured me in. Although, I did mention quite some stuff altogether jfkjjf. It's all about the experience for me. The movies are just filled with so much energy, which I love, and they are, in my opinion, the perfect combination of that energy and emotional impact. Are they perfect movies? Absolutely not. But I'm enjoying myself immensely while watching them, and that's l that matters. Soooo yeah. That's about it for now, I've already been talking too long hkfhfjf

hello! Admittedly I rushed this a bit I’m not as sure about these as I was about 🌾🪶 Phil’s but I took a swing we’ll see if I missed later I guess. I tried to include as many artists as possible so you have plenty of people to look through since you said she was a bit insatiable when it came to music! I did phone in the last few songs like the lullaby-eque ones. yeah again this was a bit of a mess on my end. okay so I kinda cheated my self imposed rule of one song per artist but in my defense I couldn’t choose between Moonlight and Paperwork… They’re my two favorite Fish in a Birdcage songs and I thought both were kinda fitting so oh well both of them are there.
Anywho I could go on and on and on about how I was this close to fighting myself to the death (<- hyperbolic) over this. Let's just get to other recommendations I didn't put on for one reason or another.
Starting with musicians I put on there but didn't include a song from for whatever reason:
Myxrite! My personal favorite song Now and Again doesn't look like its on Spotify at all so uh yeah I'm linking it here because I like it a lot.
Bug Hunter is on there too but he's currently in the top ten of my favorite musicians so yeah here's more suggestions! Go With The Flow and Listen to Your Mom pretty high up there in terms of my favorite songs. Making Up Words is one of my favorites lyrically (though I must say that Disco in the Panic Room is up there too), and of course I have to mention Try My Best and Slow Burn because I keep using lyrics from them to inspire drawings (that I'll never post anywhere online). Okay fuck I need to move on before I link literally every single one of his songs lol
Same as Bug Hunter, The Narcissist Cookbook is up there in terms of my favorite musician + he put the MOTH album (one of his old ones that wasn't on on youtube yet) on youtube recently so he's been in my head a lot. Ghost Stories and UNWELCOME GUESTS (warning: unwelcome guests starts with a phone ringing noise idk my friends always get surprised by it so I'm just gonna mention it in case) are rahgjagh they are so good they exist in my head rent free
Madilyn Mei has been on loop in my head cause a friend of mine. Anyway Six Legs (tippy tappy toes) and Sleeping in the Kitchen. just live in my brain now because of them lol
The actual recommendations that aren't just more songs from folk on the playlist already:
I Fight Dragons! I fucking love them! Their music tends to have techy/8-bit noises and they're a bit more on the rock side of things but their stuff is really good! Good Morning Sunlight and Oh The Places You'll Go... They are the most <3 to me forever... Sunny Afternoon too... God I love IFD I need to make my friends listen to them with me more
If you like IFD you may also like Jonathan Coulton or the portal song guy as my friends know him lol. Nobody Loves You Like Me or Now I Am an Arsonist or really anything from the Artificial Heart Album is always my go to for showing people besides the songs from Portal (Still Alive and Want You Gone) that my friends know.
Similar to IFD, a lot of Going Spaceward's songs have techy noise in the like proper releases, but his youtube has a lot of acoustic versions of his songs that don't have those. His covers are good but really most of his music is just funky. Uh since I will absolutely not narrow this down in any timely fashion I'm just going to link the entire Can You Hear It Album and uh Count Past 23.
Joseph Dubay is a musician I only got into like a few months ago but I really like his stuff, kinda similar vibes to what i was going for with this playlist but a lot of his songs just didnt fit the vibe so I didn't feel like adding them. That being said I am obliged to tell absolutely everyone I talk about music with to listen to Pastel Goth and 4evr so yeah.
Completely different vibe but San Fermin may be of interest to y'all! Astronaut and The Woods are the ones I listen to most from them but everything about their music just scratches the brain itch for me. Their stuff is indie rock which is kinda in the genres of the bands you mentioned!
A bit of a different suggestion but since you mentioned her liking soundtracks AZALI might be a cool youtube channel to check out! They make short songs in FL Studio and idk I'll be honest I don't listen to soundtracks or things like you mentioned in that part of your ask but I do listen to every upload AZALI makes and I think they're all pretty neat. The songs are all like a minute or two long but I like to just put them on loop when I'm writing. Truth, Violence, Warmth is my go to for writing for this specific project, but Mechanical God was how I found their channel and I'm just fond of City of Shattered Glass so there those three are my suggestions.

are you guys asking if im gonna rewatch new gen ultra bc. you wanna see my thoughts through a liveblog or something? well to go for it briefly:-
Ginga: Not as huge into this as others but I REALLY liked what it was going for and in retrospect how different it was to other Ultra productions and stands out as very memorable and distinct because of that. Everyone always talks about how this is back when they had no budget but literally I never noticed aside from the re-used Kaiju suits (which is a thing in every New Gen Ultra anyway). And uh that one goofy Dark Zagi sequence in da movie. Otherwise it's very visually stunning between Ginga himself and the consistent nature-based sets. Taro sequence in the last episode is the best thing ever made. Solid series, highly recommend!
Ginga S: Find it a little bit lame because it's very clearly made in response to fan complaints that Ginga wasn't like every other Ultraman (I especially don't like Hikaru becoming a military boy and that defining him in every re-appearance) but there's still a lot to love here and there's definitely some standout episodes like Gan-Q. Would find this one of the hardest Ultra series to recommend of the ones I've seen, but if you're already interested then yeah sure it's pretty harmless
X: BEST BEST BEST BEST SHIT EVER. WATCH THIS FUCKING SHOW. Maybe the funniest thing for me to say when it's not even top 3 for me but god if it doesn't feel like it sometimes, this is basically THE way to do a modern update of Ultraman and keeps a very strong balance between episodic plots, interesting character development & focus and a serialised plot and themes. Cannot recommend enough if you're interested in Ultraman
Orb: My first Ultraman so I've got a bit of a soft spot... like Ginga I'm not as into this as others but it's ultimately a very good show, and quite unique among Ultraman in how it sets up its characters (we basically never see the defence team outside of one representative; the main character is a distanced loner). It also has Juggler in it which, like, yeah; Juggler! Definitely recommend this one
Geed: BEST BEST BEST BEST SHIT EVER. WATCH THIS FUCKING SHOW. If your sensibilities are more attuned to Kamen Rider stories when it comes to Toku then this will be right up your alley as it shares in common a similar backstory for the hero's powers and is in general much more on the superhero side of things than the sci-fi anthology that Ultraman usually is. It's hard to get into exactly why without major spoilers but it's a wonderful series with a very charming cast that you can't take your eyes off. I was very excited for this one when I started Ultraman and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend
R/B: Fucking fantastic! This one I feel gets overlooked quite a bit and gets treated as a bit of an oddball, but it's wonderfully weird and has so much going for it. It's a much more comedic take on Ultraman and very meta on the entire idea of what it means to be Ultraman, all wrapped around a very lovely focus of family and an honestly pretty fun plot as well. The first arc's villain is Kuroto Dan if he was toned down to be a lot more bearable and then the second half's can be a bit slow but has a fair bit to say. Just super recommend
Taiga: I unfortunately couldn't get into this one. Definitely a lot I think it wants to say about the nature of aliens integrating with humans and all the dynamics that contains but I just never found any of the characters terribly compelling enough to get into it... I fully admit I might have been giving it a harder time than it deserved though, and @biomic has recently had a LOT of good to say about it in their liveblog and I recommend you go to them if you want to know its strengths. Not one I can recommend personally, but it's one of those shows that seems to either hit hard for you or doesn't; so I can't say to avoid it or anything like that
Z: BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST SHIT IN THE WORLD WATCH THIS FUCKING SHOW GO TO YOUTUBE RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!! My experience with this one might have a bit of bias due to enjoying it along with everyone due to the simulcast but MAN what a fucking good time with all the strengths of X and more. Really went from a show that was pretty fun but due to unfortunate things behind the scenes could have gone so wrong but absolutely kept things steady to be a consistently great show with a lot to say. Can't recommend enough watch this thing right now it's literally officially subbed on youtube for free
Trigger: Did not like this show at all unfortunately, I find this easily the weakest of all the Ultraman shows I've seen and it definitely doesn't seem like there's a lot of people willing to stick up for it. It's one of those shows that's difficult to find anything to enjoy and you're left just scrounging for SOMETHING to like which you'll forget the moment the show is over. Really wants to be Profound and hit in a similar way that the show it's imitating - Tiga - did but can barely even dream of succeeding. Absolutely can't recommend this show for a second
Decker - It's only been three episodes but I'm finding it surprisingly solid stuff, and can certainly recommend you watch along too! Just a decent Ultraman show with a solid cast at this point. It's literally only been three episodes so I can't say anything more but it's hard to see this going terribly wrong and that at minimum it'll be decent. Recommend, it's on youtube officially with subs for free!

I'm curious about Beetlejuice in Strange Hill. I'm not familiar with the show but I like this and must know more. It kind of reminds me of school of rock but full Beetlejuice mode. What kind of shenanigans will ensue? How many complaints will be filed about his smell?
do you know. do you know how long i have been waiting to recieve this ask. i owe you my life.
anyway, for context. strange hill high was a kids show i watched in primary school, it had 2 seasons, and it was all episodic shennanigans with no ongoing plot. the premisce is that the main character, mitchell, is the new kid at this really really weird school called strange hill high where paranormal and extraterrestrial and sci-fi stuff just kinda happens on the regular. examples include evil tooth fairy plotting to steal peoples teeth to build a xylophone, alien invasion where the aliens are all identical to one of the main characters and try to eat him, a book so boring it rips a hole in space and time, that one time mitchell broke the concept of mathematics, etc etc.
aside from mitchell theres his two friends becky and templeton. mitchell is always getting into trouble, doesnt care about class, always late with homework. cannonnonically has adhd. bit of a scheemer, doesnt have perfect morals, but he cares about his friends and is a good guy over all. templeton is kinda your steriotypical nerd/weird kid, into sci-fi. he spends the whole first episode convinced their school is a reality tv show. is kinda technically god? (he caused the big bang with a potato during some time travel shennanigans.) and becky is a ray of sunshine optimist full of enthusiasm. sometimes has to act as the voice of reason / moral compass for the group, but is kinda gullable.
putting a photo of them to show off the art style, cause i love it, and its puppets! the mouth and eye movements are cg'd but its not distracting, and apart from that its pretty much all practical, and all of the character designs are very unique. if youre up for some absurd comedy and funky puppet stuff its very easy to find on youtube, in fact i am watching it right now.
for the purposes of this au, i have drawn lydia and beetlejuice in this style before
anyway, context over, onto the au. im not sure whether it will be explicitly mentioned but i think im going to be setting it in year 9 uk grades and 8th grade american which if ive done my research right makes them 13-14, which is a middle ground between the strange hill characters being 12 and lydia being 15. regardless tho its post-cannon for both. lydia goes to england as part of a foreign exchange program and stays with beckys family, and hence gets introduced to her friends, and they get along fairly well.
as a side note, i will be taking this as an excuse to go full british mode. yeah i always write in an english dialect but now im actually setting something in my home country and im going to have some fun with that. there WILL be beans on toast. they get greggs in literally the first scene. perhaps there will even be Big Tesco. but its also probably the only time i will ever attempt an american dialect, just for lydia's dialogue, for the contrast. i apologise in advance for my inevitable fucking up of that.
now back to the au. in order to follow lydia and hang out, beetlejuice gets a job at strange hill. im thinking drama, since i dont think we ever see the drama teacher. music would be another option but i dont want to replace the cannon teacher. but anyway, the strange hill trio see this really fucking weird new teacher who seems to know their new friend and go 'right here we go again its shennanigan time'. they want to get to the bottom of this, lydia finds it pretty funny. over time they become better friends with her while also trying to figure out what the hell her deal with the drama teacher is. meanwhile theres the whole ordeal that is beetlejuice as a drama teacher, and also his increasingly rediculous attempts at finding ways to hang out with lydia that arent really fucking weird because shes a student at the school he teaches at now. also, hes doing a really really bad english accent the whole time. he never drops it. even if its just him and lydia, hes gotta keep it Authentic.

5. Talk- man this song just makes me feel a way. it’s so nice. i’ve got so many good things associated with it. Minecraft is the biggest one btw for some reason. Probably bc i listened to this album a lot in 4th grade when i was suuuuuper into Minecraft for the first time. also a coldplay song i relate to in lyrics more than most coldplay songs
4. Violet Hill- VASTLY UNDERRATED. i fucking love angry coldplay songs so much. there’s angrier songs that exist i know. but we’re talking about this band.
3. Arabesque- mmm best song from Everyday Life no contest! Half of the song is a saxophone solo! This is a coldplay song I literally made an oc to and unlike some of the others I made when i was 9 my boy stuck around. shoutout to my oc Pixie. yeah bitch you are two angles of the same view
2. Hurts Like Heaven- i have so many good associations w this song. This album came out when i was i think 8 or 9? Like. PRIME age when I was starting to get into art and writing. I made several ocs to this song. It means just so much to me. the whole album does tbh. It was the first concert I went to and it was one of the best experiences of when i was that age
1. Viva La vida- i mean what would I be saying about myself if it wasn’t high on the list anyway. Genuinely the best Coldplay song I think. Not even remotely controversial i think but still

Bill Watterson- NUMBER ONE CATCHIEST SONG EVARRRR and its about STALKING THE CREATOR OF CALVIN AND HOBBES yknow there’s this music camp i go to every summer and next year is the first year i’m gonna be a counselor, and all the counselors and volunteers get to perform a song on their own during one of the lunch periods in the week and ik its about 11 months away but i think this is the song im gonna play. its so much fun to play. whip out a guitar right now and look up “bill watterson lemon demon chords” its so good on the ears
