Meet the ✨Most Beautiful Tree Frog✨, Guibemantis pulcherrimus, a new species described by my colleagues and me in the journal Zootaxa this week. The scientific name 'pulcherrimus' literally means 'most beautiful'. It's a close relative of Guibemantis pulcher (just 'beautiful', ha!), but has more little spots and less pronounced lateral blotches. It's found in the northeast of Madagascar, where it lives in Pandanus screw-palms.

A symbolic meaning behind Hanamis death

Can we talk a bit how the death of Hanami, the curse spirit of natural disasters died, has a meaning behind it? There is a reason they died FIRST, or so I believe and see that way.

Remember how Gojo "found out" about Hanamis weakness, and ripped of his eye branches? Well, I see it as a symbol of the nature being ripped off from this world. We use the natures weakest places for our own benefits, cutting off the trees for usage, throwing trash and burning forests, and so on. For example, one tree makes over 8,000 pieces of paper while approximately 1/500th of a tree is cut down for every piece of paper. Most paper is produced from softwood trees such as pine trees, spruce trees and fir trees. We could use a different method with recycling, but we refuse to listen.

This is an indirect message that if we continue this way, nature will be dead soon, and we won't be able to bring it back. Like Gege "warned" us through Hanamis death, nature may be unpredictable, powerful and unmerciful, but it is NATURE. It's a job of it to act violent. But not this much. Hanami is angered and hates humans, indirectly showing us how these days natural disasters happen more and more often, as a reason of pollutions and destruction. Like the nature is angry at us for ruining its property. That is why I completely support and understand Hanamis hatred and actions towards humanity.

And Gojo is TOO BLINDED by his need to erase all curses, just like we are TOO BLINDED to understand that we are destroying something precious on this world, that will later have consequences. Gojo doesn't care, we don't care. He's happy and satisfied with the kill, just like we are from the products we get from nature. This is one of the reasons why I don't like Gojo at all.

I was really sad when I watched Hanami die, not just because they are my favorite character, and I love them unconditionally, but also because of the way I saw it. I actually would understand and support Hanamis hatred and actions towards humanity if I was to be in JJK universe. Despite everything, Hanami is stil... Gentle. He kills humans, only if he must, and pleads them to turn to sages after their death. He still acts humble, after all they've done. That's why Hanami is one of the most underrated, best characters out there.
