john ‘enrolling’ sam into a private school to gather information from his peers about the mysterious deaths that’ve been happening there and sam somehow wiggles his way into a friend group
i looooveeeee thinking about sam pretending he comes from this really well-off family and just generally being a little shit to ‘fit-in’ and gather intel

The reason I need to start making more 3dimensional art is cause honestly it's extremely healing esp in an age of ai......like I sometimes feel really just, worn down by the encroachment of ai on creative spaces and how a not insignificant population thinks its just as good or better to have drawings or writing done by a computer program. But no matter how ""good"" ai gets at approximating other forms of art it can't make an embroidered patch, or a scarf, or a sculpture, or a shadowbox. So like I guess it feels sort of like a safe creative space. Techbros can't touch me here

I'm sure someone's said this before but I keep seeing those like "dude's angry about Barbie not catering to them" posts, and I'm just reminded of how those same dudes are the ones who kept going "oh ur mad about there being no diverse media, heh, Make ur own then n stop complaining "
And Every time we do, they scream and cry about how uninclusive it is to Them or how were Ruining the world cus of one woman/poc/trans lead in a movie
Like, u can't have it both ways, you can't exclude us and tell us to make our own thing and then get mad when we do

Personally as someone who also has a hard time deciphering people's "emotional morse code", I really liked that after that Tyler just said his feelings or whatever was on his mind no matter if it was valid or immature or not because he knew Wednesday would prefer to have the confrontation then the passive aggressive bullshit. Ive always appreciated emotional honesty over trying to not cus a strife, and I love that after that talk he never makes Wednesday decipher his thoughts he just says them, a brave and compassionate act people constantly look over but can't even commit themselves half the time out of fear of vulnerability and rejection.

The way I'm acting like a fucking lunatic about resi... Fully ready to throw down if some shitass video game nerd starts to spout off bullshit in front of me
Like I've been following production on this show for months and mostly with trepidation bc the showrunner does not have a good track record with non-white characters and you know what? It came out good! It's fun! The characters are interesting and flawed! The women aren't action eye candy and that let me to enjoy it So. Much. More. than any of the Jovovich movies (which I do love). I'm just so fucking sick of attempts to do new and interesting takes on older franchises and then having them get attacked by "old" fans who can't accept that fucking maybe having something different is healthy for the franchise.

Rant under the cut.
Okay. I get that SWSH's story is lackluster, but trust me when I say that Hop's story isn't a part of why it is. Yeah, I'm still figuring out why he's...smiling eerily after his loss in Circhester, but trust me when I say that he possessed a lot more substance than most of the rivals we have been given. the reason why SWSH strikes me so much is because it's kinda like real life; not everyone's gonna detail their character development unto you like they're trauma dumping and all. It's all about the sublime horror that you get to once you dig deep.
Plus, I'm not listening to a H//rry P//ter fan's opinion on him and make my OCD-induced intrusive thoughts get worse by doing so. If you don't have the reading comprehension, much less the decency, needed to not support the works made by that vile woman - its author -. I cannot take your opinions on fictional characters seriously. /rage
