Life is Strange: Steph's Story is officially out in the world today! I loved writing this book and I hope you love reading it, too!

Setting the stage for her appearance in Life is Strange: True Colors, this official Steph Gingrich novel sheds light on the Drugstore Makeup years and the story of how Steph crash-landed in Haven Springs, Colorado. Steph Gingrich has finally run out of couches to surf. Now she’s back at her dad’s place in Seattle to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life.  Steph fills her time working at the local gamer café during the day and running RPG sessions at night, that is until Izzie whirls into Steph's existence clutching a crumpled stack of band posters. Izzie is electric: a punk, a girl who likes girls, and a hella good guitarist. Turns out the punk life is exactly what Steph needs. She loves the music, the art, and the fashion, but most of all she likes the girl. Entranced, she offers to drum for Izzie, forming the band Drugstore Makeup. A hit in more ways than one, Drugstore Makeup compete in a battle of the bands before deciding to tour the offbeat punk venues of America. But Steph and Izzie soon find themselves on different wavelengths, unable to communicate, and needing different things.

Izzie: My girlfriend said she thinks I'm autistic. I told her that's not true, I play electric guitar. *sighs* She didn't laugh.

Steph’s Story is finally out which means new things we get to learn about her (and new outfits I get to draw her in)

Alex comforting Steph in the wake of a terrible storm, one that brings back memories of Arcadia Bay's destruction. Hugging her close, telling her that everything is ok, that a storm like that won't happen ever again, that she's safe, forever, in Haven now.

Safe, forever, in her arms now.

And that helps Steph feel so much better.

Story Time (the issue w fan pages)

I saw this & thought of this idea and asked @propersip if she could draw it, and I'm SO happy and touched she spent hours and hours to get it done. Got to see the behind the scenes of it at work as well, was special.

And then this Instagram lis fan page @life_is_strange_out_there reposted her work initially without credit, they could've inserted a tumblr handle but nope; only added credits after Tave's request. And they responded to the VAs' comments like as if the art is their own. "Thank you for this" is clearly meant for the artist herself!

And with excitement I wanted to check those stories out but Lo and Behold, all of them are unavailable to view on both my ig accounts, when others can. It sucks not being able to view a precious art because the account that doesn't even own it got recognised and also blocks you. Idk why I was blocked in the first place. It's been some time since I last interacted with them. Idk what I did that was so hated? Perhaps asking for due credits and being a polite Rachel Stan?? I've never hated on Pricefield cuz I don't hate that ship at all. Just wanted to put this out there.

Steph is someone who thought her life would begin after college, but instead, things stayed the very same.

It took her to so long to learn that those day-to-day things? The simple companionship & love that comes with normalcy? That is what life is at most times, and that's ok.

And now, she can help Alex understand that very same thing.
