Request: You save Lexi and she never died, you were able stop Damon in time before he staked her. You’re best friend’s with both Lexi and Stefan, you never trusted Damon with anything he said or did. One shot.
You had been friends with Lexi for a long time you were travelling with her and that was how you ended up in Mystic Falls with her, she wanted you to come with her to celebrate Stefan's birthday and since you loved said vampire you decided to humour her. Your problems started when you found out that Damon was there, Damon was Stefan's older brother and he had made attempts on both yours and Lexi's life and you decided that you needed to take the information to Lexi so that you could decide what to do next.
"What are you doing?" Lexi asked as you pulled her into the bathroom off of the bedroom and started running the water.
"I'm making sure that no one is listening." You answered.
"Why?" She asked as she turned to the mirror and continued to get ready for the night and you raised an eyebrow.
"We're in the Salvatore Boarding house everyone in this house is a vampire." You answered and she rolled her eyes before nodding.
"I know that," She answered. "Why do you care if someone is listening."
"Damon is here." You answered and she nodded.
"This is his house." She smirked and you glared at her.
"You think that he's not going to try and kill you again?" You asked. "Use you for something."
"That doesn't matter, we are only staying here to celebrate Stefan's birthday and then we're gone, we aren't going to be here long enough for him to use us." Lexi dismissed.
"You trust him not to try?" You asked and she finally turned to you.
"It's just one night, I want to make sure that he has the best birthday. She explained.
"So you're just going to trust Damon is going to let you do that?" You asked. "Fine, whatever it doesn't matter because I'm going to make sure that all of you stay alive while you all party the night away."
"Alright but if you get bored come join us." She called after you as you walked out of the room and out of the house altogether.
You spent the rest of the day watching Damon but it didn't take him long to realise that he was being followed and cornered you "now what are you doing?" He asked as he stepped towards you.
"I don't trust you." You answered and he smirked.
"Sounds like your the only smart one." He complimented you.
"What are you up to?" You asked.
"Nothing." He answered. "Just trying to get the Sheriff to trust me is all."
"How are you going to do that?" You asked.
"I'm going to save her from a vampire." He answered, "and there happens to be two newcomers in town."
"You're going to hand over Lexi." You glared and he smiled.
"Yeah, I kinda like you so I'm going to keep you alive." He answered. "You could end up being a lot more fun."
"You're not going to be able to kill her, she's with Stefan." You informed him and he smiled and gave a shrug.
"It might be a little more difficult but with you nursing a broken neck it'll be easier." Before you could do anything Damon snapped your neck and everything went black.
When you woke up, you tried calling Lexi but she wasn't answering the phone so you made your way to the Grill when you got there, there were two deputies dragging her out of the bar, you watched and waited for Damon to show up, you noticed Stefan and Elena across the way and gestured for them to stay quiet "where are you?" You mumbled to yourself, your eyes catching him as he appeared near the Sheriff holding the stake, you smirked before moving forward knocking the stake from his hand and standing protectively in front of Lexi. "You know the saddest part about you is so many people want you to be good and Sheriff I promise you that not all vampires are killers."
"I really don't care." He seethed and you smirked before looping an arm around Lexi and disappeared. You sat Lexi on the bed before walking around the room trying to pack everything that you deemed necessary.
"(Y/N)!" Stefan called.
"Up here!"You yelled as you still continued to pack things up.
"How is she?" Stefan asked as he walked into the room.
"I think she's going to be okay but we have to leave." You answered and he nodded.
"Are you packed?" He asked.
"There wasn't much here." You answered. "We didn't plan on staying very long."
"Mmm." Stefan hummed as he picked up Lexi and put her in the back of the car as you chucked the bag in the passenger side and then walked around the car, Stefan was already there and he pulled you into a hug.
"I'm sorry your birthday was ruined." You said softly. "Next year will be better I promise, you'll have to come to us though."
"Yeah, I'm sure that we can make that happen." He agreed as you climbed into the car, he stood there waving you off.

Deaths I‘m Still Bitter About (Not Including Those Who Came Back) *spoilers*
8. Sarah Nelson / Salvatore
It was like what was point of that? No reason.
7. Tom Avery
Very unfair. He seemed like a very nice guy and another death that was so unnecessary.
6. Aaron Whitmore
I just felt so bad for him. He deserved some happiness and he never got it. Even tho I loved Damon I hated him at times.
5. Enzo
I literally only wanted him alive for Bonnie, because she deserved a happy ending.
4. Lexi Branson
That one you start to feel later on in series with all the flashbacks.
3. Jenna Sommers
I will never get over her death. No one with Alaric ever paired up to Jenna.
2. Katerina Petrova (this one will be controversial)
But I really hate how they villianized her so much, she wasn’t a great person. But I feel like she was starting to redeem herself as a human and then they had to do travelers switch and make her a complete villian. She really wasn’t truly terrible I feel up until that point. Very misunderstood you saw flashes of humanity in her.
1. And of course Stefan Salvatore 😢
He totally deserved a happier ending. Ever since Elena left him I felt bad and he finally was happily married give him 5 seconds of happiness and then boom kill him. Cruel.
There were a lot more deaths I was heartbroken about, but I eventually came to peace with. Liz (cried so much for her tho), Rose, Carol Lockwood, Sheila, Anna.

Aria Ravenna Reyes-Alvarez, one of the world's first Vampire-Witch Hybrid's, a Heretic.
She is the closest friend to the Salvatore Brothers and will help them with anything they need. Damon says she resembles a Lioness, fierce. Stefan says she is a compassionate soul, and a little broken on the inside. One man believes she is special, and she is. She is the most special of them all, the one woman who is able to make him feel the best of emotions to their highest extent, she makes him feel alive again, even in death.
Others think she is weird, a freak of nature, an abomination. Her family is basically the definition of Cursed. She's a true spirit with a fiery temper and a bark that is definitely as lethal as her bite. Literally. She can be dangerous, at times, devious. If you just say one wrong thing she'll become a ticking time bomb: one wrong move and you're dead.
How is it that this one woman is able to cause so much chaos, yet be so empathetic? Maybe that is how she caught the curious eyes of the noblest of man on the face of the Earth.....

Please note that while we have laid out this guide, we are open to making changes and taking suggestions if anything doesn’t sit well with a player. It is up to the individual roleplayers to decide when and how to start these threads. In order to do so effectively, please makes sure to read or at least skim each other’s threads on the dash, so as to make sure your character jumps in at the right time (in the case of a three-way para, for example) and doesn’t interrupt the flow/chronological order that is roughly set out in the summary below. Also, please read ALL of the developments under the cut; not just the section that pertains to your character. This is especially important for this event.
This is the last stage of this event. Open/casual starters are permitted aside from the plot-threads listed below, though please manage your time accordingly so that the plot-threads are completed by the end of the event. Note that not every character got a role in this event. We tried to fit in at least one of each roleplayers’ characters, but it wasn’t possible to fit everyone (for those roleplayers with multiple roles). If you see an opening for an additional character, you are welcome to propose it to us so they can be included, but remember, activity is doubly important in a coordinated event, and no one will be penalized for prioritizing event-related characters.

Jennifer Blake's powers seem to have gone to her head, literally, and she has wasted precious time gloating when she should have been finishing the ritual she had come for. Allison Argent, Cora Hale, and Lydia Martin are a bit worse for wear, but still alive, and luckily for them, their team of rescuers is hot on their trail. Derek Hale arrives first, and throws everything he has at the witch who would put his family in chains once more. It's a battle for the ages, and as he distracts Jennifer, the girls frantically try to escape their bindings. Lydia Martin has a vision the moment he enters the room, and begins to thrash, though she cannot speak with the duct tape over her mouth. Malia Tate and Tyler Lockwood find them shortly after and help the girls to freedom, but not before Jennifer exacts lethal revenge for the interruption. Derek is killed in the battle, and it is enough of a sacrifice to count for Jennifer's plans. Martyr, traitor, one is as good as the next. But the power she absorbs is too much for even her to handle, and the personalities inside her begin to dramatically destabilize.
Unable to console Cora, or get her to leave her brother's body, Tyler calls Hayley Marshall, who was already on her way to the scene, having felt something ripple inside her the moment Derek was killed. It's only with support from Malia and Tyler that the two women eventually find the strength to leave.
Allison has helped Lydia to get upright, and down to the street, where Stiles Stilinski finds them. Lydia has another vision before losing consciousness, and she and Allison are both rushed to the hospital.
After an alarming vision that he simply can't believe, Alaric Saltzman makes his way to the Lalaurie Mansion as well, stumbling in as it spits out all its victims. He finds Jennifer inside, raving mad, and losing control of her magic. Luckily for him, he came prepared. While helping Camille O’Connell pack for her departure from the city that brought her so much pain, he came across a box marked as belonging to her late twin brother. The instant he touched it, he knew the box carried more than nostalgic mementos. Unable to help himself, Alaric took the pair of powerful shackles he found nestled among dusty sweaters and knick-knacks. He knew exactly what they were. Back in the present, they’ve come in handy much too soon, as he confronts the witch responsible for the murders, the same one who spent the last few months warming his bed. He manages to apprehend Jennifer, voiding her magic with the shackles and ultimately ushering her towards the Mansion’s exit. He looks away for barely a second to get his car open for one psychotic witch, when suddenly she’s gone, leaving only the shackles in her wake. Unbeknownst to Alaric, it’s her most-hated sister, Mary Sibley, that she has to thank for the timely delivery - and Jennifer hates it.
Jennifer isn’t the only wayward sister Mary has had the onerous chore of dealing with tonight. She’s also managed to successfully co-opt Freya Mikaelson's attempt to contact her missing brothers. The spell has found Elijah, Rebekah, and Klaus Mikaelson instead, knocking them unconscious into their individual dreamscapes. Each sibling stands at a separate metaphorical proximity to the spell: On one end, the spell caster - the forgotten sister, Freya. At the other, the two brothers the spell couldn’t quite reach. As a result, each sibling finds themselves with a different conversational partner. Elijah comes face-to-face with a woman he hasn't seen in a millennium: his mother, Esther, the one closest to Finn. She warns him of what will happen if Davina is not sacrificed, and how it will spell the end of the Mikaelson family forever. Klaus finds himself caught between both ends, back at the beginning of it all; in the woods with his little brother, Henrik. The young boy speaks about the dangers of making promises to children who trust him to keep his word, but soon learn better. Rebekah, however, stands at the opposite side of the spectrum, perhaps from a thousand years of loneliness. She meets someone she's never met before; Freya has succeeded in contacting one sibling directly, but it's not any of her brothers.
As the Mikaelsons lay unconscious in the cemetery, Davina Claire approaches Marcel Gerard with the truth she's been hiding all this time: she knows she won’t survive this, and he needs to let her go. Marcel refuses to believe that's true and tries to convince her otherwise, but he is running out of time. Sophie Deveraux finds them then, followed by Frederick Egrid and Isaac Lahey, as well as Damon Salvatore, carrying an unconscious Mercy Lewis. Sophie is not taking any chances this time. Isaac's throat is slit first, as it should've been so many months ago, followed by Mercy and last of all, Davina. But for all her conviction, Sophie is once again left as the one who’s gambled and lost the most by the time the ritual is complete, because it results in... Nothing. Rather than strengthen New Orleans’ connection to the ancestors and revive all six of the Harvest Children - including her niece, Monique - the last of the city’s magic flickers out like a candle in the night.
Damon doesn’t give a damn, however. What he cares about is finding Stefan. But when he does, gagged and bound with vervain chains in a mausoleum, he finds his brother weakened and raving about a vision from The Beyond. Stefan Salvatore has had a bone-chilling encounter with his deceased best friend, Lexi Branson, who has taxed him with one very simple mission — purge the Crescent City of its Salem influence, and she will be able to return. Damon is as suspicious as Stefan is determined; after-all, what does a dead vampire care about a foreign witch coven impinging on New Orleans?... Unless it isn’t Lexi, unless it isn’t Lexi at all.
Quentin Herrera arrives too late to save Isaac, but just in time to catch Egrid as he leaves the cemetery in defeat, unfortunately for the ambitious witch. A few meters below the streets of New Orleans, Christopher Argent has managed to free his sister, Kate Argent, but they’ve yet to escape Marcel’s garden. What should’ve been an quick in-and-out rescue mission becomes something else entirely. One Argent will make it to the surface, but which one will it be? The fate of New Orleans may hang in the answer.

The Vampire Diaries Series Finale Predictions
Guys, tomorrow is the day we´ve been dreading. I guess I can answer this question for all of us; Are we ready for the finale?:
!!Obviously do not read if you don´t watch Season 8!!
First off, it has been made public that one major character won´t make it out alive in this finale. Entertainment Weekly was on set for the final day of filming in January, and they described the scene as follows:
“Elena Gilbert’s crying. Standing in the Mystic Falls cemetery where she’s said many goodbyes — and even a few hellos — Elena’s surrounded by everyone she loves. Well, almost everyone. One person is missing. Did we forget to mention that this is a funeral? … This is a goodbye — and it’s a big one.”
Oh goodie! I will definitely prepare a truckload of tissues...
These are my prediction for this finale. Let´s take a look at the deaths first:
Theory No.1: Stefan dies.
TVD started with Stefan first sentence: “For over a century, I have lived in secret; hiding in the shadows, alone in the world. Until now. I am a vampire. And this is my story. ” It would be totally possible it will end with him dying as well.
He also looked pretty sad when he faced Elena in the promo (or possible Katherine who knows?) so maybe there will be some kind of spell that leads to his demise. Or he offers the cure that is coursing in his veins to Damon so he can live the human life he wanted with Elena. Also, if hell survives, I think Katherine would love nothing more to have Stefan with her. It will also make up for turning Damon all those years ago.
Theory No. 2 Damon dies.
First look at the season´s promo pic:
Damon looks at something off screen (as does Enzo and he´s dead) and there is a raven sitting on the coffin. Also, Caroline is comforting Stefan, which pretty much indicates that Damon is definitely one to possibly die.
Besides, the show always revolved around the Salvatore brothers, so it would only be fitting if one of them dies. He pined over Katherine for several decades, then fell in love with Elena, just to be parted from her again. It would be a very tragic ending to a kinda tragic love life.
Theory No. 3 Bonnie dies.
That would be one, if not the most underserved death in history, but knowing the writers, they would definitely throw a curveball like that. But if Bonnie dies, she possibly could live in her self-created world/hell where she could be happy with Enzo.
Since it was clear from the beginning that Elena only wakes up if Bonnie is dead, it could very well be that she´s the one dying, however, it is way too obvious. I doubt they would go for that.
Other Characters I am kinda of worried about:
Caroline. Alaric is confirmed to visit The Originals next season (presumably with his kids), which raises the question where the hell Caroline is.
Matt. I personally wouldn´t be too broken up about the death of Matty Blue Blue, but he is definitely at risk as well.
Other scenarios that might happen throughout the episode (most are pretty unlikely, though)
Katherine pretends to be Elena and Elena does not actually wake up. (would also explain Damon’s surprise at finding her - whoever that might be- awake
Elena is actually crying at her own funeral as a ghost and is the one that ends up dead
Other info and/or rumors about the finale
Alongside Elena, there are other characters said to return like: Jeremy Gilbert, John Gilbert, Jenna Sommers and Lexi Branson
There will be a flashback and flash-forward.
The final scene will be shot at the Salvatore House
No matter what happens, I am sure we'll cry a lot of tears. I know I will..

A Million Mistakes Part Three
Part one, part two. Read and review here.
Warnings for Silas, angst + hurt/comfort, and lots of Delena (both together and individual) bashing. Maybe a little OOC.
Set in s4 of TVD. Rated T/SFW.
Silas played his little game with them all, none more so than the vampires of the group.
Which meant Giuseppe Salvatore and Lexi Branson and even Lucien Castle appeared in Mystic Falls. They were always angry, but still enough like their true selves to not cause suspicion until Silas wanted you suspicious. There was an edge of pure, unmitigated danger in each of them, uncontrollable and unpredictable.
Klaus had to remind himself that it was just Silas, insisting on getting what he wanted when he wanted it. Kind of like himself but worse, Caroline said. She joked that it was the worst thing about Mystic Falls -- there were two of him.
That wasn’t the worst part. The worst part, Klaus thought, was the others around he and Caroline. Always scheming, always thinking the world revolved around them. No one cares that Elena is being mildly inconvenienced by this, he wanted to say every single time he was roped into one of their stupid, foolish plans. No one with half a brain cell cares about Elena, period. (Elijah didn’t count. It wasn’t his fault he fell for the same face every time, it was the person behind the face’s fault for manipulating him into affection.)
Speaking of, Elena was going on and on about one of those stupid, foolish plans, one that was clearly Damon’s opinions regurgitated into a plan (sponsored by Damon, Caroline liked to say). He was being forced to sit at the table, Caroline practically in his lap since they were in a booth meant for four, maybe five people. It was seating eight people, nine if you counted Elena and Damon as separate entities.
Ostensibly, they were there for several reasons: they wanted to be kept up-to-date, Caroline was slowly cracking Bonnie’s shell so she would be open to a friendship, Rebekah didn’t want to be there alone, etc. There were more, he was sure.
In reality, they were there because Caroline liked to watch the trainwreck that was the Salvatores + Doppelganger. Entertainment at it’s finest.
Klaus buried his nose into Caroline’s hair and forced himself to hide his distaste. He’d rather hear literally any person on the planet droning on more than her. Aurora de Martel would be nice, right about now, with her nails-on-a-chalkboard-voice, obvious flirting, and even more obvious hatred. Caroline would probably claw her eyes out -- and what a wonderful sight that would be. Much more entertaining than Damon Squared and The Judgement Squad.
The doppelganger stuttered and stopped; his head popped up, intrigued. Maybe Damon had cut her stream off; the power imbalance was a delicious little treat. (Caroline found it disgusting, but he disagreed. It really added to the not-boring factor that was so often left lacking.)
But no, she was looking towards the doors. Her mouth was open in evident confusion (and the fact that he knew her well enough to know confusion on her face just made him despair. There were very few things he hated more than doppelgangers) but she didn’t seem to be scared or anything. Not that she did that anymore, with her link to Damon making her fearless.
His head tilted so he could see what had stopped her. When he did, his whole body froze.
A familiar grin, hair shorn close to the skull, an air a mix of cockiness and submission. The posture was the same, as was the gait, the...everything.
He, Caroline, and Rebekah watched, shocked, as … it stepped closer to the group. It wasn’t his son, it wasn’t his, it probably wasn’t even a shred human. No matter how much it resembled the boy he’d lost in 1919, it wasn’t him.
Objectively, he knew it was Silas, jerking their chains. Subjectively, he knew it was nothing but a shapeshifter, an evil, malicious monster who was there to threaten his family.
“Papa,” it said the second it was within feet of the table. “Why are you making that face? Something wrong?”
That godsdamned attitude, the one Klaus loved to hate and hated to love. His teeth clenched and his jaw jumped. How dare Silas do this. He could understand wanting to be with the love of your life, wanting chaos and destruction and death. But he could not understand why anyone would do...this.
“Silas,” he growled, easing Caroline further into Rebekah’s side. The children around him tensed, not knowing who Silas was showing himself as but trusting that Klaus did. It probably helped that Caroline and Rebekah were glaring so hard, they could’ve burned a hole with the heat in their gazes. Three of six Originals glaring at someone? Definitely a threat.
The grin morphed into a sinister smirk, one that he’d seen much too often lately. “How did you know,” he drawled, leaning up against the high backed seat. Rebekah leaned back, disgusted. “Was it the teeth? I think his are a little more crooked than I have them.” Silas flashed the teeth of his son, perfectly straight, unlike the real ones.
“Are”. Fucking Silas.
He took a quick moment to make sure his eyes stayed human and his fangs didn’t break through his gums. No need to traumatize the innocents of this little town anymore than he already had.
“No, it was the part where you’ve taken the form of someone who’s long dead,” Rebekah answered for them, spitting the words out. Caroline was frozen, pressed up against him. He wasn’t faring much better.
“Oh, this ‘ole boy? Please. He isn’t dead,” Silas pfft’ed, waving a hand. “Haven’t you been down that way in the last hundred years? Marcellus here is on top of the world.”
Caroline growled, “shut up. Now.” All eyes (of the children, that is) snapped to her. She was known for being the calm presence that could branch between the children and Elijah, depending on if he was on their side or not, and Klaus, Rebekah, and on occasion, Kol. She had never shown the side of her that was angry, hungry, and defensive to the children. That was why they were all scared of Klaus but civil with Caroline. She was the nice one who wouldn’t kill you if a mood swing hit.
His eyes flicked to Bonnie, who didn’t seem scared of Caroline. But then, she didn’t always seem scared of him, so he couldn’t be sure if Caroline was losing a potential friend here or not. He hoped not. She had so few….
Bonnie wasn’t important right now, though. Caroline was. His hand, already on her waist, tucked around her and pulled her closer. He wouldn’t let her fight Silas, especially not with him taking the visage of their son. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t take much effort on Silas’ part for her to jump over the table and get hurt trying to decapitate him.
“Now, why would I do that? I’m telling the truth.”
“No, you’re manipulating us to believe your...your idiotic, unfounded stories. Marcel is dead! I saw it happen!” Caroline’s voice grew more and more distressed. Tears sprung to her eyes, visibly shocking the children; he held her tighter to him, heart cracking open. “You’re lying!”
Silas made a poor imitation of his son’s empathetic face, mouth turning down and eyes softening. It made Klaus want to pull a page out of Kol’s book and torture him, rip him limb from limb.
“I’m not lying. He’s alive, running around and terrorizing the witches and wolves. He goes by Marcel Gerard, now. I guess it sounds better than Mikaelson.” Silas shrugged. “You should go see for yourselves.”
Klaus stiffened. Silas wanted them to go to New Orleans? No way it was happening now. He refused to play into the evil plans of the immortal in front of him.
He was about to snap something to that effect when the insufferable ingrate Salvatore brother said, “um, I know you’re Silas, but who the hell are you supposed to be now? We’re all confused and this little pow-wow here,” he waved his fingers, “isn’t telling us much.”
Silas grinned. “Oh, this is Marcellus Mikaelson. The son of the Original Hybrid and his darling wife, Caroline.” He paused, surveyed the group -- the three Originals, the Salvatores, the doppelganger, the witch, and the hunter -- and said, “I was going to have you do something, threaten you all, etc. etc., but you know what? I like leaving on this note. Ta ta!”
And then he was sweeping out of the bar, taking the last of their son with him.
The second he was out of view, Caroline elbowed him hard in the ribs and tried to push Rebekah out of the booth. He clamped his arms around her, ignoring the pain, while Rebekah threw her legs over Caroline’s, keeping her in her spot.
“I have to go see,” Caroline said, voice cracking. “I have to go see if he was telling the truth. I have to see Marcel.” She turned slightly, to address Klaus. “I have to see our son! He needs us, Klaus, please.” She was so distraught, so despaired. His heart broke all over again at the sight. “Please let me go see him,” she begged.
“Care,” Rebekah said, her demeanor softer than he’d seen it since the 1820’s, “he didn’t survive. He couldn’t have. The fire was too great, you know that. I’m sorry.”
Caroline sobbed, hating the truth, turning and pushing her face into his chest. The rest of the table watched, caught between intensely uncomfortable, confused, and upset. The witch, of all them all, looked the most empathetic, with the Rippah not far behind. (Good, that was good. She would hopefully be nice to Caroline after this, be more open to a friendship. Gods knew she needed it.)
Rebekah closed her eyes with a sigh, and stood. Klaus quickly pulled himself and Caroline out of the booth, needing to get away from the children and their judgements. Maybe this would finally shock them into realizing ‘Original’ did not equal ‘emotionless’.
He moved to the doors at a fast but human pace. Caroline clutched to his shirt, wrapped around him so tight, he was probably bruising. Her cries were loud and heart wrenching.
Someone stopped him just before he could leave. “Is she alright?” He didn’t look around, but he could tell that most of the people in The Grill were looking their way. Shit.
He tried to put on his socialite smile, the one Caroline said was nice but distant. In an effort to make them stand out less, he spoke in an American accent. “Yes, she’s fine.”
And then they were gone.
By the time he set her down on their bed, she’d stopped sobbing. He sat next to her heavily, hating her tears and hating Silas and hating Mikael, but most of all hating that he could do nothing to change the past.
Wiping her eyes, she whispered, “I’m sorry. I don’t know why I believed him.” She sniffed, and pulled herself onto his lap. Always was more tactile the more upset she got. “I just wish it was true. That Marcel somehow made it out, is somehow still alive. King of New Orleans doesn’t sound too shabby,” she laughed wetly. Not for our baby, he almost heard her say.
He bit his cheek and rubbed her back. “No, it doesn’t,” he agreed. “He deserved nothing less.”
Klaus wasn’t going to say his name. He hadn’t since that awful night, since Elijah dragged him out of the theater and away from the fire. Since he died and took his parents’ hearts along with him.
He sighed and dropped his head to her shoulder. His wolf wanted him to scent her, but he couldn’t be bothered. He was too tired, too stressed, to do much of anything.
(She smelled so much like him, anyway, that it didn’t matter. His scent permeated her skin, her hair, her clothes, and every other piece of her. There was no need to rub his scent onto her even more. Except….)
He pushed his nose up her neck, taking comfort in both the action and the sigh she gave. He’d forgotten, for a moment, that scenting was comforting and grounding.
Her fingernails ran over his scalp, brushed through his hair.
“I really miss him.”
“I do too,” he whispered, nuzzling closer. “I miss him more and more everyday.”
A single sob fell from her lips. She curled tighter, legs and arms wrapping around him again.
They didn’t say anything else after that, just comforted each other like they had in the weeks and months after his death.

Past:
Born in the late 900s, Thomas was the youngest member of a coven of witches in a tiny town in England. However, Thomas was different. He didn’t have the same powers as everyone else. As a matter of fact, he technically didn’t have any powers at all. He was a siphoner and could only derive magic from other supernatural creatures or objects. To protect him from ridicule and isolation, his parents kept this fact hidden from the rest of the coven, hoping that eventually they’d collect enough dark objects that Thomas would be able to pass off his magic as his own.
Unfortunately, when Thomas was fifteen, his coven was met with turmoil. A pack of werewolves had moved into the area and were causing problems for the group. Soon, conflict broke out between the two factions which resulted in the extinction of the entire coven, with the exception of Thomas who was able to escape undetected. With no magic of his own, he hadn’t been strong enough to protect his family from harm and he had to learn how to survive without them. He fled to London, hoping to find a means of survival there.
Thomas lived in London, England for six years, working whatever jobs he could find in order to keep a roof over his head and food in his stomach. Over time his frustration grew that he had no one to guide him in the ways of magic, nor any magic to siphon for himself. Eventually he would have to figure out another way to do things, especially now that he was no longer a child. He was a man and he was tired of feeling week and helpless.
It was when Thomas was 21 that he met Tristan de Martel, his lovely sister Aurora, and their traveling companion, Lucien Castle. However, at the time they were known to him as Elijah, Rebekah, and Klaus Mikaelson, respectively. Thomas and Tristan quickly formed a bond, having similar personality traits and a drive for power. After learning of their vampirism, Thomas couldn’t have been more intrigued. He craved the power that they possessed. As a vampire, he would have the strength that he always desired, the strength he should have had when his family was overrun all those years ago. After much thought, Thomas approached Tristan, asking him to turn him into a vampire. They were friends after all, how could Tristan not want to help him? Much to his dismay, Tristan denied his request, seeing as Thomas was just as power hungry as he and he did not want to have anyone close to him who could possibly pose a threat. Thomas did not take well to this and turned to other means of getting what he wanted.
Aurora, or Rebekah as he knew her at the time, was someone who Thomas knew would easily fall for his charms, besides he found her quite lovely regardless. They already had a strong rapport so it would be rather easy to get what he wanted from her. He went to her, hurt and injured (purposefully inflicted), knowing that she would offer her blood to heal him. Once he left Aurora’s side, fully healed, but with vampire blood in his system he went to his own chambers and grabbed a sword, piercing it through his own heart. He fully believed the stories he had heard from his new companions; that anyone who died with vampire blood in their system would return as a vampire themselves. And return he did.
However, what he didn’t expect was a small twist in his tale. Unlike the others who had awoken simply as vampires, Thomas became something else entirely. As a siphoner, Thomas was able to keep his witch powers upon death. He garnered the ability to siphon from himself and thus had an unlimited source of power, making Thomas Kenley the first witch/vampire hybrid in existence and the first person that Aurora had ever sired.
Thomas acquired more power than he ever could have dreamed. No longer did he have to be weak and vulnerable. He could, and would, protect himself and anyone else who fell into his good graces. His loyalty ran far and anyone whom he cared for would without a doubt have his protection.
Eventually, the Trinity had to move on from London for fear of Mikael’s impending arrival and they had to leave Thomas behind. Before they left, Thomas shared with Aurora what he had become and promised her his protection if she were to stay. However, as she believed herself to be Rebekah, she chose family, always and forever, leaving Thomas to be alone once again. Months after their departure, he decided to leave London and travel the world, wanting to see what else was out there now that he had the ability to do so and keep himself safe at the same time.
Thomas spent years living his life in a solitary manner, but had made the choice to break out of his shell. With his newfound power, he charmed his way into the lives of many, creating a rather bountiful life for himself. For centuries he lived in such a way, dining beside Kings and living in lavish households. However, if anyone got too close and asked questions, he made sure to cover his tracks.
It wasn’t until the 1920s that Thomas discovered the truth of the trio of vampires that he had met all those years ago. They weren’t the Mikaelsons, but rather Tristan, Aurora, and Lucien as he had been informed by other vampires who knew of them. Their whereabouts were unknown at the time, but Thomas caught wind that their sires, the Mikaelsons themselves, had found their way to Chicago. Thus to the Windy City he went, hoping that he’d be able to find the Original vampires, specifically Rebekah, and learn more about what had transpired between them and the Trinity. However, upon his arrival he just missed them, but found someone else instead. Stefan Salvatore.
Thomas and Stefan became fast friends and had questionable influences over one another. He only egged on the ripper that was inside of Stefan, regardless of Thomas having rather good control over his own bloodlust. It was a means of passing the times, especially after his plans to find the Mikaelsons came up empty. Little did he know that Stefan knew them quite well but unfortunately had been compelled to forget. The two traveled together, causing mayhem until April of 1922 when Stefan’s close friend Lexi Branson got a hold of him, determined to get him back under control.
Once again, Thomas found himself on his own, but that was alright, he was rather good at being by himself. He continued his lifestyle as it once was, living here and there. It wasn’t until the 2010s that Thomas’ wish of meeting Rebekah Mikaelson was fulfilled, however, he chose not to reveal who he was to her and only spoke to her for a few moments in passing. It wasn’t the time, nor the place, as he had heard news of tensions throughout the Mikaelson family and those in a small town called Mystic Falls. He did not wish to get wrapped up in drama between the most powerful family in existence. Besides, his questions could wait until he found Aurora again.
Since then, he has kept tabs on the whereabouts of all the Mikaelsons, for he knows that if something were to happen to Rebekah that that would mean his downfall as well. As he swore to Aurora when he believed her to be Rebekah that he would protect her, the same should be said for the real Rebekah also. As long as the sire line remains intact that is.

Thomas has been trying to find the de Martels, as well as Lucien, since he first discovered their true identities. However, it seems as if Tristan’s coven of witches have found him first as Tristan wants to make sure that the vampire/witch hybrid stays in check. One would be naive to believe that Tristan didn’t know they were being searched for by their old friend for so long. However, he knew that Thomas held a vendetta against him and did not wish to be found. As it were though, Thomas is not one who should be underestimated. With the witches finding him, he was able to reverse the spell and track them, narrowing in on Virginia. Mystic Falls. That’s where they must be. And where they were the de Martels were sure to be close by. He has now made his way to the town to reunite with those he once new and get the answers to the questions that have always lingered in his mind. Besides, if he could enact even the smallest revenge upon Tristan that would only be a plus.

His relationship with them is complicated. Thomas holds great resentment against Tristan for being so selfish that he would not help him. He is mostly indifferent to Lucien as he made sure never to get on his bad side but to never get too close either. She is his sire, as well as someone he held affection for some time ago, regardless of the fact that he used her to turn him.
Rebekah Mikaelson
Origin of his sire line. Thomas knows that in order to live, Rebekah has to remain alive and well. He keeps her safe from afar and is planning on officially introducing himself to her soon.
Stefan Salvatore
Old friend. The pair spent a few months together traveling and stirring up trouble. They can bring out the best or the worst in one another depending on their mood. Thomas has no idea that Stefan resides in Mystic Falls.

Damon Salvatore was born and raised in Mystic Falls with his younger brother Stefan Salvatore. Growing up, Damon was a kind guy and very protective of Stefan, doing everything he could to protect his sibling like a big brother should. While Damon’s mother Lilian Salvatore was always very kind, his father tended to be strict and often commanded his two sons. It was very rare for the man to genuinely want to spend time with his children since he was always busy working for the town council as well as keeping his bed warm with women. The only person who knew about his dad’s infidelity was Damon, having witnessed his dad with a variety of females ever since he was sixteen years old. He didn’t want to hurt his mother and Stefan, so he kept his father’s sex life a secret, even though he really didn’t want to protect the man. More often than not, Damon caught his father with women that he worked with, but he also ended up in bed with random females that lived in Mystic Falls. Damon didn’t want his family to fall apart, he wanted them to be happy and together, yet part of him knew that would never happen because his dad was anything but kind and caring. Giuseppe Salvatore rarely showed emotions to anyone, so deep down, Damon knew it would never work out with his family. He kept trying however, never losing hope as the years went on. He hoped that maybe his father would grow tired of his promiscuous behavior and return to his wife and two sons. However, Damon’s mother died of consumption when he was twenty five years old, prompting his father to become even busier when he started to make plans with the town council so that they could rid Mystic Falls of the supernaturals that had showed up there. They wanted to keep their hometown safe and supernatural beings were a threat and not welcome. Damon’s father wanted his two sons to help out since they were both grown men now, with Damon being thirty two and Stefan twenty nine. One night, when Stefan was hunting one of the vampires, he was caught by surprise when said vampire subdued him. That vampire was none other than Alexia Branson, but she wasn’t the bad kind of vampire. When Damon found his brother with Lexi, he begged her to spare Stefan because he couldn’t lose his sibling. Just as Lexi was about to let the two go, Damon’s father made an appearance and misunderstood the situation in front of him. He was convinced that his sons were conspiring with supernaturals, trying to help them escape town. His anger prompted him to shoot all three of them, fatally wounding both his sons while Lexi managed to escape. Giuseppe left both Damon and Stefan to die, even telling them that they deserved to die since they were helping the enemy.
Luckily, Lexi stayed close and fed both brothers her blood in hopes of healing them. Unfortunately, Damon and Stefan died, but they died together, which was a bit of a relief to both of them. After completing his transition, Damon met a young girl who he found himself falling in love with, not knowing that Stefan harbored the very same feelings towards her. Both boys were competing for her affections and wanted her to decide between the two after discovering the truth. Of course, just like Stefan, Damon hoped that her choice would fall on him and he was prepared to do anything to make that happen. One day, Stefan took her to the woods so he could court the girl, trying to increase his chances with the woman of his dreams. It didn’t take long for Damon to stumble upon the two and naturally, the older sibling was upset at what was happening in front of him. Angry about what he had seen and heard, Damon attacked his brother, with the two siblings nearly killing one another. The girl wanted the brothers to stop and interfered, trying to separate them and getting involved in the fight. It was then that Damon accidentally pushed her into a tree branch that had broken off halfway, perforating her right in the chest. Both him and Stefan watched her take her last breath as she died, but before Stefan could launch himself at his brother, Damon fled the scene. Stefan was left to pick up the pieces and bury her since his brother had left and with much pain in his heart, he did so. After that, Damon didn’t see Stefan again and instead, he became the one person that he now despised - his father. Turning into a vampire had changed him and he became the bad parts of his own species. He stopped caring about things, especially about love because that was ruined for him and he preferred sexual relationships instead. Damon never forgave Stefan for what he did to the girl that they both loved, but both brothers ended up in Mystic Falls after years. Just like Stefan, Damon had heard about a cure for vampirism, one that was locked inside a tomb beneath Fell’s church. He wasn’t sure if his brother knew, but he did know that he wanted to beat Stefan to it and returned to Mystic Falls. There, he demanded that Bonnie Bennett used her magic to open the tomb up so he could obtain the cure and shove it down his brother’s throat. Damon still had a lot of resentment towards Stefan, but deep down, the majority of resentment was towards himself since he was the one who had killed the girl they loved. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Damon also ended up killing Lexi, which was another thing that damaged Stefan’s relationship with his brother after their return. Damon’s been in town for years now and has made the place his home again, but he swears that someone’s playing games with him when he sees Elena Gilbert back alive, not knowing it’s really Katherine Pierce.
Stefan Salvatore
Damon used to be very close to Stefan, until they both fell in love with the same girl and Damon accidentally killed her. Stefan’s never forgiven Damon for that and Damon’s never forgiven Stefan for pursuing the same girl. To this day, Damon hasn’t told Stefan that he’s seen their father cheat on their mother more times than he could count, but Stefan did always wonder why Damon became the bad parts of their species. When both brothers returned to town, they wanted the same thing - to obtain the cure for vampirism. Stefan wanted it for Damon, hoping it would make him kind again while Damon wanted to shove it down Stefan’s throat out of spite. They’ve been in town for years now, but their relationship remains on and off - being good on some days while bad on others.
Alaric Saltzman
Damon was the one who killed Isobel, which Alaric attacked him for. Since Damon actually liked Alaric, he didn’t kill the guy. Weirdly enough, the two guys ended up becoming best friends and often have drinks together at Mystic Grill. They have a usual spot at the bar and even though Alaric is human, he does help Damon when needed. Damon helps Alaric in return and has grown rather protective of the guy that’s one of the few friends he has in town.
Logan Steele
Damon met Logan in 1907 in Las Vegas. The two vampires had both been traveling the world and happened to end up in the same place. Both guys spent the entire night in Las Vegas together at various casinos, playing games, having fun, but also feeding. Damon was never told about Logan’s blood lust problem and he himself doesn’t really like blood bags all too much. He’s always been about fresh blood and made sure that his companion also had some during their time in Las Vegas.
Caroline Forbes
Damon has a playful relationship with Caroline, with him enjoying the moments when he gets to tease the girl. Over the years, Damon has grown pretty fond of Caroline and even saved her life at her own birthday party when a group of hunters invaded her home, trying to kill all supernaturals. Luckily, Damon fed Caroline his blood just in time, making sure she came back as a vampire.
Katherine Pierce
Damon has never met Katherine before, so when he sees her in town, he thinks she’s Elena. He’s met Elena once before, back when she had relationship problems with Matt and he knows she died in the Wickery bridge car crash. Maybe she was brought back to life though, right? Or is someone trying to play games with him? Katherine wouldn’t mind playing some games, so she’s all for toying with Damon, letting him believe she’s Elena. She’s studied her doppelganger for a long time and she knows just how to imitate the girl.
Lorenzo St. John
Damon left Enzo to die in the fire back when they had made plans to escape together. He hasn’t seen his former cellmate in years, but now that he’s come to Mystic Falls, Enzo plans to pay Damon a visit sometime soon. Damon still thinks that Enzo died in that fire, so he has no idea that the guy is still alive, or that he was turned by Damon’s very own mother.
Wesley Thompson
Wes thought that Damon had something to do with his parents dying, so he attacked the vampire. However, Damon was a lot stronger than Wes, meaning that it didn’t take long for him to overpower the werewolf. Luckily, Bonnie showed up just in time to save Wes from Damon, saving his life.

However, neither of them ever knew that one was a vampire and the other a hunter since both kept those aspects of their lives a secret from one another. After searching for Lexi in Mystic Falls and coming up blank, Tristan decided to do what he'd wanted to do since he was a young boy - become a marine.
That was when his entire life changed and it did so even more when he finally found out what had happened to Lexi years later. She'd been killed by Stefan's older brother and that was what motivated Tristan to become a hunter. Now that he's back in America, he plans to pay his lover's killer a visit soon.

‣ STEFAN SALVATORE is 22 years old and is a VAMPIRE.
‣ HISTORY
Born to Giuseppe and Lily Salvatore in 1846, Stefan was the youngest, and the golden boy of the family. He was well respected and admired by the townspeople, and even by his father. But his life as a human would soon come to an end, and little did he know that the one responsible for it all would be a beautiful woman by the name of Katherine Pierce. It was after he became involved with the orphan girl that things began to escalate. After learning about what she really was, the vampire compelled him to feel no fear towards her true nature-- and so he did not. It was during the night the whole town had been rounding up vampires that Katherine had been captured, and Stefan desperately tried to save her. As a result, he died from a gunshot wound and awoke again in transition. After he’d successfully turned, he made his older brother Damon Salvatore complete his transition as well, wanting for the two to spend an eternity together. But as their relationship had always been strained ever since Katherine became the object of their affection, this ultimately lead to Damon hating Stefan, and he proclaimed he’d make Stefan suffer an eternity of misery for making him turn. Stefan has carried that guilt with him ever since. And it didn’t help that he struggled with his bloodlust. It was Alexia Branson, later known as Lexi, who helped him regain his humanity, and find a sense of control when it came to his thirst for blood. Despite her help; however, Stefan continued to constantly battle that bloodlust, and eventually fell off the wagon. It was during that period of time that he became known as the Ripper of Monterey-- his lack of control often resulting in tearing apart his victims.
As the years passed, Stefan once again regained his humanity, deciding to survive solely off the blood of animals due to his inability to control himself around human blood. Somewhere far down the line, when Stefan returned to Beacon Falls, he saw Elena Gilbert for the first time while rescuing her after her parents’ car drove off Wickery Bridge. The resemblance she bore to Katherine had him left him intrigued, and despite learning she was not Katherine, he couldn’t help but feel drawn to her. He was curious about her and why she looked like the woman of his past, so he took it upon himself to get to know her by posing as a transfer student, and attending Beacon Falls High along with her. There was an immediate connection between the two, which eventually formed into a romantic relationship. It was after the two became involved with each other, that many obstacles got in their way, making it difficult for the two to be together-- but they persevered, for the most part. It wasn't until Klaus Mikaelson walked back into his life that things took a turn for the worse, and he’d been forced to once again succumb to his insatiable hunger for human blood. It was during that time that he felt he’d lost everything to Klaus, but it didn’t stop there. Once he’d returned to his old self, he did everything he could to ensure that everyone made it out alive when Alaric Saltzman was on a quest to kill the originals. Subsequently, he received a phone call from Rebekah Mikaelson, and learns she was planning on killing Elena. He rushes to try and stop her, but in the end, he was too late.
‣ PRESENT DAY
With Elena having recently been turned into a vampire, Klaus still being in town, and the increase in numbers of death in town, Stefan had a lot to deal with. He is once again trying to deal with the numerous problems at hand, all at once. He had little to work with when it came to the murders occurring, and with Elena being distant, he was essentially left to deal with Klaus yet again. The original was persistent, asking for his assistance when it came to the predicament of the White Oak stake having gone missing. Stefan was aware of what that meant for not only the original hybrid, but every vampire of his sireline, so he once again becomes a temporary ally to Klaus for the time being.
‣ CONNECTIONS
‣ ELENA GILBERT: In the wake of Elena becoming a vampire, he wanted nothing more than to be there for her. However, despite his efforts, she remained distant. He understood how difficult it must be on her, and he worries for her well being. He wants to respect her desire for distance, but knows that it could lead to her feeling isolated and alone. As of right now, he just hopes that she knows that he will always be there for her.
‣ SCOTT MCCALL: Stefan has been turning to Scott for any information that he or his friends might have on the murders. He soon finds that the werewolf is just as clueless as he is on the situation, and the only thing they’ve gotten figured out so far is that the deaths aren’t meaningless murders-- they are sacrifices. Stefan can only hope Scott finds a new lead soon that can help them progress in their search for their suspect.
‣ KLAUS MIKAELSON: Despite his efforts, he couldn’t rid of Klaus without the risk of him or Klaus’ entire sireline dying along with him. At the end of the day, Stefan was pretty much stuck with Klaus, at least until the hybrid decided he’d had stirred up enough problems in Beacon Falls. He had hoped the original would’ve simply moved on after Elena had transitioned into a vampire, rendering her useless to him, but after learning from Klaus himself that someone has taken the White Oak stake, he finds himself caught in the middle of another crisis.
‣ KATHERINE PIERCE: He’s surprised to say the least that the doppelganger returned to town, especially given the fact that Klaus was still around. But with Katherine, he learned that there’s always an ulterior motive behind everything she does. Whatever the reason was behind her return, he can’t help feeling a bit curious as to what it may be.
‣ STEFAN SALVATORE is portrayed by PAUL WESLEY and is OPEN.
