Wanted to touch on this discovery because I believe more people should know about it. Especially Rusty's own friends and fans.
A few months ago, a group of Rusty haters found out that Rusty had liked, drawn, and regularly talked about mpreg artwork.
This on its own is weird, but I personally have no issues with it as it's obviously not harming anyone but it's extremely ironic coming from a woman who regularly claims bisexual/gay trans men are fujoshis or that their reasoning for being a man is rooted in yaoi.

This is only ONE problem, though. The other was the subject on which she decided to create said mpreg on.
Yup, you got that right. Rusty regularly created and posted her ship art of two REAL MEN, who at the time were both presumably straight and in relationships with women. If that's not delusional, then I don't know what is. (This is 2015, so right before leasebound and when Rusty apparently dove deep into the radfem landscape.)
Her name and quite similar art style were all over these artworks as well, and they were pretty popular at the time too.
There's a few additional discoveries we made that should also be shared.
This FAQ is from her blog when she was around 18-19. You might be thinking, well this was long before she supposedly "peaked" so maybe that's why both her gender and sexuality are different from today.
Sure, you may be right, but Rusty doesn't claim that.
In livestream from a few years ago, Rusty claims to have been a radfem since she was 14 as well as a lesbian, and that she was very isolated from her female peers.
Maybe, just maybe she had a few years later, dropped it and identified with the non disclosed queer label but either way, it's very odd she doesn't touch on this part of her past. Without this prior knowledge, most of her radfem/lesbian fans would assume she was always like this and never participated in the "nasty gendie things" she hated so much.
And to bring focus back to the 1D content. No matter how much Rusty likes to complain about the fetishization of gay cis men, yaoi is at the very least, fictional and of fictional men. She as a grown woman, regularly drew these two real men as gay and got each other pregnant. She's disgusting and deplorable.
I hope her fans see this and understand she's not someone to be trusted in general. I don't know how any of you could excuse what she's done.

Hope this isn’t annoying but to add on to some of your older posts about lesbihonest-art, I think her trans characters also contribute to antisemitic stereotypes (though I am goy aka nonjewish, so I might be wrong but I feel like it does)
i'll post this ask without any commentary because i honestly don't know and i'm not jewish either.

Lil Number Chasing
I stopped doing fanart online for the most part after years of making a lot of fanart for shows like GF and CR and my engagement TANKED and then I hit nearly 2 years of horrible burnout (in the middle of the pandemic too cause who does life on easy mode ayyye) in which I still desperately tried to create stuff and felt horrible that nothing I made was good enough. Not good enough to make the ‘lil numbers’ on the post go up. Not good enough to get hired and not good enough to make things people cared about.
It feels good when the lil numbers go up but that shouldn’t be why we make art. I stopped looking at the lil numbers. I started making stuff for me, the lil numbers stay really lil, but I’m happier. The few people that also like my stuff talk to me about it. Their engagement is like an addiction to create more.
Shitposts, icorrect quotes, drabbles, short stories, whole novels are because out of 8000 (mostly human I hope but lesbihonest bots are everywhere) followers I found like five that like my stuff enough to chat about it and keep it going <3 I’m forever grateful to that goofy handful of people that make creating my own stuff worth it.
I dunno why I’m writing this, I see a lot of art friends from twitter panicking about the low lil numbers on their posts these days and when I check their stuff its numbers I could never fathom obtaining, let alone complain that they were too low. It makes me anxious about my own work all over again.
So what I guess I’m trying to say, and trying to live by my own example, is not to throw all your self worth into how big the lil numbers on your posts get. I understand how engagement can lead to work and stuff and its easier for more eyes to see and spread work to actually get hired but even casually we need to stop obsessing about the numbers themselves and start honing in on our work, why we really make it and who its really for.
We can only do what we can, and not burn ourselves out trying to compete with hostile algorithms just to watch the little number go up. I hope artists can still enjoy doing what you do and it hasn’t become a joyless, feverish state to keep work in this truly terrible time to be an artist/creator out there.
Tell your favorite artists that you love their work, that their characters make you happy, that their stories are a comfort to you. It means SO much more than the lil numbers and that sorta love and engagement makes them want to make more. Without it, the only feedback artists get is the rise and fall of the lil numbers on the post, THAT’S the approval we end up chasing.

I am so angry for lesbihonest because of how much she tries to do something genuinely good for lesbians and women in general but gets such a huge target on her back as a result. She reminds me if the USA army man meme and we are the child sleeping. How can someone who keeps reporting her feel good? They can not have been reading the art she makes. I believe if TRAs sat and read her story from beginning to end and not in cherry pieces they share with friends they would see the truth.
of course if people actually read it they would react differently. That's why everyone works so hard to make sure her work can't be read.
If you as a fan do really feel angry, if you want to do something, i suggest you speak out. Rusty and the rest of these wonderful women speaking out are not your martyrs. No one believes men are women. They know they are men, that's why they feel such indignant rage about them being disobeyed. They do this to rusty to make her an example, to keep you afraid. Don't let them get away with this. Please.

Since I know people on Tumblr care more and have actually gotten her removed before I wanted to post this here.
If this post actually gets some traction I will make sure to post the rest of my research and findings on Rusty as soon as I can as this needs to be shown to as many Trans people (and trans artists) as possible.
And while I know she's been removed from here before she has desperately tried to crawl back again and again so I want this information to be readily available to anyone who might come across her work or content.

okay, well, firstly, she's a TERF. not subtle about being a radfem.
secondly, she is not very accepting of bi women. she's of the belief that we are always below lesbians and any culture we claim to have is actually stolen and belongs solely to them. she's a lesbian separatist and she's not kind about it.
she's like, in her 20s iirc. really immature for her age. and like anyone who associates with her, anyone she disagrees with is called a lesbophobe. that doesn't strike me as really knowing and focusing on what you claim to be fighting for.
there really isn't any reason to support her unless you're also just as selfish, bigoted, and ahistorical.
but, y'know, she's deactivated her blog, so it doesn't matter now.
