hahaaa awww thank you!! I also really love it, it’s actually a self portrait from 2021 (which is why it still features the long-gone undercut I had for a few years).

@leatherleaves sure, this is the explanation that would make the most sense to anyone watching, and if that's what makes sense to you, more power to you.
here are the lines of thinking that make me ponder the baby:
a) according to the wiki timeline, that baby appears in early 1970s and dipper and mabel were born in 1999. if that baby is indeed is dipper and mabel's grandparent given the timeline, then they are likely the result of two teen pregnancies. not impossible, but a weird choice for the gf team to make given how careful they normally are with things like that.
b) alex hirsch and members of the gf crew have been notoriously squirrelly about the baby in the past. when he's been asked about the baby at cons, hirsch has replied that the topic is off limits. jeff rowe replied to someone on twitter once with a similar explanation to the one that you replied with here and then took it back and said he wasn't sure who the baby was.
there are a lot of things that i personally think all of this baby nonsense means, but i think we can all admit that it's weird.

Found these HUGE FRIENDS in the parking lot at work while doing my rounds the other day. Found in NE Texas. I see the green ones all the time but I’ve never seen the black and white one before. They were so big! So much of them to love! Coworker and I left them undisturbed to do their resting, just taking pictures as best we could and fawning over them. They both stayed in the same spot for well over 3 hours just enjoying the parking lot ambiance.
HUGE AND BEAUTIFUL!! Not surprised they didn't move, moths spend most of their time resting. The one on the left is a rustic sphinx and the other is a luna moth :)
