I’m thinking about satoru + suguru coming back from a mission and satoru walks in first.

looking less unscathed than other times, you bid him a, “I hope the other guy looks worse, satoru,”

to which he replies, “well he did die, so,” displaying amusement before clearing the living room to clean himself up.

suguru, on the other hand, doesn’t make it far before you’re intercepting him and worrying yourself over any wounds on him.

“there’s blood in your hair.” you stress gently, moving his hair away from his forehead to get a better look at the blood that was smeared onto the corner where his hairline met his skin.

he nearly sighs at your touch, almost closes his eyes for a little too long, and God help him if he doesn’t lean into your soft caress. he doesn’t have the heart to tell you that the blood actually isn’t his, you might pull your hand away and stop fretting over his condition. instead, he pulls your hand away from his head and brings it to his mouth with both of his own and you nearly melt. there’s something about the way that his eyes close while he does it as if he finds the deepest pleasure in giving you affection.

when his eyes open, they’re smiling down at you.

“I’m fine, pretty girl, believe me. I’ll just need a shower to scrub all this stuff off of me.”
