I also like Owain x Severa because their S Support in Awakening is really cute, and I like that Severa canonically wrote Owain's name into her sword because he was always nice to her, whether or not they get together fr.
I don't have an opinion on the other ships, unfortunately!

29. “I thought you were dead.”

this one is a little short, honestly, but i think it’s more short and sweet. I’m actually realy happy with how it came out, so I hope it’s what you were looking for!
The smoke cleared. The mysterywarriors were gone. And all that remained was a sad little grin, and Laurentthere, standing across the way with his arms outstretched and his cape blowingoff in the wind. His hat was on the ground behind him, and for the first time,he didn’t seem to mind it.
Lucina dropped the sword, theemblem, and she ran into those arms like it was home, and held onto him sotight she squeezed the air from his gut. But, his arms wound her waist and hesqueezed back, with intensity. With desperation.
“Lucina, Lucina,” he whispered inher ear, and gods, he twirled her for a second, and she thought she was flying.When her feet touched the rubble and the ground again, her eyes opened, and herfingers found purchase on the sides of his face.
“I thought you were dead,” shewhispered back, quiet and absolutely meek. Humble and broken. Nothing like shewas, with her smile and her pride hidden in a world of blue around her eyes.Everything she was, lost in that cracking voice, but she smiled.
“And I, you,” he admitted, weakly,his forehead pressed to hers. Pressed for purchase like he might never see heragain.
“But we’re here.”
“We’re alive,” he laughed, and heldonto her waist so that she might not step away.
Their friends were around them nowtoo, together, and Grima was gone. Things were a mess, and there was thatdistant groan of Risen that had become nothing but a soothing background noise.A sign that things were normal, but normal could change now, and Lucina smiled.
Laurent brushed his fingers alongher cheekbones, laughing now, “I never thought I’d see you smile again.”
She laughed, then, too, and heldonto his face. Her eyes closed and wrinkled with her joy, and they kissed likeit was all that was left in the world to do. Kissed and kissed until the worldstopped spinning and they parted, breathless, and laughing. With smiles intheir hearts.
“What do we do now?” she wonderedthen, aloud with a song in her voice.
“We fix it,” Laurent offered. “Andthen we go home.”
Home, at least, sounded nice. Evenif it was crumbled beneath the wreckage of a dragon. It was hope, and that wasall they had left. If not each other, and a future, now. Lucina smiled as theywalked down the stairs.
