So Raistlin said fuck it, let's get married
Dalamar threw a fit because "what do you mean you're marrying WITHOUT ME, I WAS THERE FIRST"
Laurana walked in "what's going on?" "We're getting married to Raistlin" "hell yeah, I'm in"
And on the way to astinus the merry company encountered Sturm who tailed by as a guest on the wedding

For the sake of this scene being possible Sturm did got severly injured by Kitiara and went into a coma for a week
But Flint filed in the forms to declare him dead, because he was presumed being dead
So the rest of the time after he recovered he tried to prove to government that he is indeed alive

Raistlin met Sturm in Palanthas after neraka, while still was getting settled in the tower

Tanis and Laurana’s Relationship and Why I Don’t Like It
Has anyone else read the Dragonlance Chronicles? If so, I just want to say something about the second book since I just finished reading for the thousandth time and still love it.
Did everyone start liking Laurana after her character growth? Because I sure didn’t. She was still a brat in Autumn Twilight and was an absolute ass to Tanis when she didn’t get what she wanted. Yes, she became more likable, but I still remember when they were in Qualinesti and how she couldn’t believe that Tanis would ever move on from her.
And this is something my dad tells me, and it’s that she and Tanis get married and have kids eventually (which I knew) meaning they had forgiven each other from their faults in past relationships. I think that’s fine, save for the fact that both Laurana and Tanis had set each other on an emotional roller coaster, which is when I get to Tanis.
It’s all fine that when he and Laurana weren’t together that he continued his relationship with Kitiara, and that, as a villain (and the “bad guy,” in the love triangle) that she would tell the elf that Tanis was with her, but that had to have been some kind of red flag for Laurana. Like, c’mon girl, he broke up with you, slept with someone else, and then the two of you get in a relationship?

Dragonlance Chronicles #2
The cities of Krynn burn with dragonfire. The companions are separated searching for the legendary dragonlances and dragon orbs to defeat the evil Dark Queen.
SPOILERS
This is of course, an old series but a pretty fun read. Having such a large cast of characters means that some are relegated to pretty much be in the background. Goldmoon and Riverwind have almost no lines. Tasselhoff is always entertaining.
The love triangle between Tanis, Kitiara and Laurana is enough to make anyone smack Tanis upside the head. Really? The Dragon Highlord that burned a city to the ground or the princess helping refugees? How is this even a question?
They really should have expanded on the battle at the Ice Wall for the dragon orb. Still a good read.

That last rb made me start thinking about wizards again which naturally led to Dragonlance... I only actually own one book out of the series because it was the only one my library was missing mysteriously, Dragons of the Hourglass Mage, and I’m actually glad for it since it’s just about my favorite book out of any of them.
While the series does have its fair share of humorous moments, it overall sticks to expectably dark high fantasy, and... honestly I’m not sure if this book was trying to stick to it or not. Watching Kitiara and Raistlin go back and forth with their stupid mind games reminds you that they really are siblings, and imo the whole deal with the “trap” for the gods of magic was just silly and almost unbelievable in the best way. The best part, however, was seeing Raistlin bumble around Neraka which is its own mess, dealing with all these interesting and respectively humorous characters, right up until the pivotal moment where he’s supposed to make his appearance like in the original trilogy. When you’re reading this scene from the perspective of the heroes Raistlin mysteriously appears at just the right moment at the end of one of the books, and you think he’s working with everyone there or is has grown immensely in power or whatever, but when you read it from Raistlin’s perspective you see that he actually had to sneak in by posing as some sickly old man working under a god of plague or something, literally threatening to cough on people and generally just being to gross to approach, and then he gets into this secret important chamber by lying about essentially being the maintenance guy for rune upkeep!
I’m actually super fuzzy on a lot of details because it’s been a bit but that was unintentionally the funniest book I think I’ve ever read... and since I own it and now remember that I own it, I might just read it again for fun.

Okay,
Chrysania would do numbers on hashtag positivity social media for her bland statements about loving everyone, being soft and kind and living in the light ect etc, before being cancelled bone stealing witch style for the most insane shit you've ever heard of. Now she constantly posts "I can fix him" memes about Raistlin in between Teal Swan style meditation videos. She refuses to believe anyone who says Raistlin is gay. Dalamar stitches her tiktoks with his own vague implications that he and Raistlin are boning, which enrages her, but every time she blocks him he just makes a new side account to troll her.
Kitiara does numbers for posting videos of dragon-riding and swordfighting stunts as well as slow-mo videos of her taking off her helm and shaking her hair out. Everyone loves the bi butch dragon highlord hashtag queen. She makes one dramatic apology video about how sorry she is for joining Takhisis' army and how she only did it to get a life beyond being the stand-in mother for her twin brothers and to heal from her toxic relationship with Tanis, hashtag feminism, and she didn't even really kill anyone anyway in fact she led Tanis to Takhisis! and everyone forgives her instantly. Every so often a true crime podcast tries to report on how she's actually planning world domination but they get absolutely destroyed by her fandom and then, reportedly, a blue dragon.
Raistlin doesn't know social media exists and wouldn't use it if he did but Dalamar exclusively posts meme videos and tiktok dances with stories about nefarious goings-on in the Tower of High Sorcery. Everyone loves the stone-faced gangly elf lad doing an awkward dance while the text says the shoikan trees ate another guy today, it was gross, they like ripped his legs off with their weird hand roots and Shalafi made me go bury the rest of him so it wouldn't smell. Anyway if you're looking for a Knight of Solamnia with long blond hair and a tattoo of the name Laurana on his ass I have some bad news. Oh wait that's every Knight of Solamnia sorry. I got to keep his cool dagger tho
Tanis tries very hard to be an influencer but every 3 months or so he alienates one half of his fanbase or the other by either shaving his beard or growing it out again and making obnoxious declarations about identifying with his evil human side or good elf side. People constantly try and explain to him that humans are not all evil and elves are not all good and he really, like really needs therapy. They know a good half-elf therapist too, and she doesn't charge too mu-- oh shit they're blocked.
Laurana has a very serious account where she discusses the political relations between the different factions that came out of the War of the Lance and everyone begs her to divorce Tanis because she could do so much better, why is she playing wifey in Qualinesti when she could be leading Palanthas? She's seriously considering it. Also, Kitiara likes all of her posts and it's rumoured the two are making up after their long enmity that primarily revolved around them both dating Tanis at one point or another.
