Now that I think about it, in terms of Larry’s luck, I think he’s only been arrested for murder one time, at the very beginning? Which for this bunch is insanely lucky.
Only arrested for murder once, but he does also keep being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting involved in trials. Overall though, yeah, fair. Not to mention a lot of his bad luck comes down to skill issues as much as the universe cursing his fate.

about the mirror and miles au, do you have any headcanons for Larry? maybe his ability is literally just supernaturally bad luck haha
(checks over the compiled version of this AU over on AO3) Hmmm... huh, I didn't give Larry anything, did I? How foolish of me, better fix that!
The supernaturally bad luck is a good suggestion, but I would put forth that Larry has another, far more easily forgotten and yet far stranger skill... and that is his ability to get dates. Which-
No, wait, hear me out, I promise this isn't just me being chaotic!
Seriously, yes, Larry's luck with women is terrible, he's never managed to enter a long-term relationship with a woman, and it's easy to see why, boy needs some character development in that area which canon never saw fit to give him.
Yet, at the same time, he still keeps getting dates. Generally characters like him are terminally single, constantly swinging and missing. But not Larry. They may dump him quick, but Larry's constantly on the cycle of getting a new girlfriend, dating her as best he can, getting dumped, mourning his lost love, and then finding someone new. He keeps getting dates. With extremely attractive women, too, his dating history is implied to be strewn with starlets, models, and the like. Women who generally can have their pick of men, yet who for some reason keep picking Larry.
I'm not saying Larry canonically has some sort of strange, inexplicable ability to pull extremely well for dates, but I am saying that canon supports that take weirdly well, so that's his ability in this AU!
(Note, this ability only gives him an increased likelihood that someone will give him a chance. It's less a "OMG, I should date him!" and more of a "Hm, might as well give it a try" sort of thing. He is also unaware that he has this ability, and while others have speculated that this might be the case, no one's been able to prove anything to date.)

I accidentally came across this tweet and I'm just so ??? are they really saying blondies lyrics is proof larry song parallels aren't a real thing ??? 💀
Blondie having a common phrase in her song about being in NY the way louis does is not the same as the larry song parallels us larries have pieced together.
This person doesn't seem to understand what we mean when we say larrys songs are parallel so let me paint the picture for them. When larries say larry songs parallels each other we mean how they talk about the same relationship struggles, same highs, same lows and how they always knew they couldn't love anyone else besides one specific person.
How one of louis love songs would be a direct response to whatever harry mentioned in his.
How louis would sing about being insecure and having intrusive thoughts of what if one day I mess this all up ?? what if my lover becomes disappointed in me ?? what if one day the sunshine turns to rain ?? and how he doesn't think he could handle that day.
How harry use to sing about being insecure and having intrusive thoughts thinking what if one day my lover wakes up and realizes being with me is to hard ?? what if one day my lover wakes up and decides they no longer want to be with me ?? and how he doesn't think he could handle that day.
And then how louis would sing about reassurance after harry expressed his insecurities. How louis would reassure his lover how gone he is for them, how they are IT, how he doesn't want anyone else, how he will be with them till death do they part and if only his lover could see he doesn't plan on leaving.
And then after that how harry started to sing less sad, insecure songs and more upbeat I LOVE YOU songs filled with apologies for getting in his head bc he should have realized sooner it is without a doubt "you and me until the end." [cheeky reference]
And then after that how louis stopped singing about worrying about possibly screwing up what he has with his lover bc he realizes now he loves them and they love him no matter what so the rest will work itself out it has to bc it's them "until the end."
How overall they both over came so much in their relationship and any doubts of them not being with their lover till the end is gone from their minds.
Not to mention one thing mentioned in a louis song is a direct reference to a harry song [IE. louis song DLIBYH mentions his lover being sad in NY which is a reference to the sadness harry expresses in ESNY about robin]. Or the fact they will mention something that can ONLY be linked to one another [IE. louis talking about how him and his lover have come so far from princess park aka the flat complex him and harry lived in after the xfactor finished up].
Each batch of louis or harry love songs we got felt incomplete, only half the story you wouldn't fully get without listening to the others responses.
Hopefully the picture is painted and fully understood now for anyone who may have felt the same way. 😁
