A cursed sword pulled from a wounded god.
This was a fun project, it was more of a restoration/conversion than a full build. It was originally an old style boffer but the tape was breaking and we wanted to save the amazing pommel. So I removed the old blade using my bandsaw then built a new style blade for it.

Its finished!!!!
So happy with how this has come out, I'm tempted to add some glow in the dark paint in the yellow sections but that's a decision for later.

Offer:
Judaism: I am Jewish and have taken some classes about my religion on top of that.
Larp Weapon Making/Larp Weapons: I participate in a local larp league and have learned how to make weapons for it. My experience pertains only to prop/larp weapons and not actual ones.
Homestuck's Timeline: I have a strong grasp of homestuck's timeline and was not confused by it which is apparently rare. I will also happily talk about homestuck but that's probably pretty common.

These DIY potion bottles from thrift store spice jars are too great to save just for a Halloween craft. I'd save the craft idea for LARP, cosplay or prop needs as well. By Sarah Ramberg at Sadie Seasongoods.

Fun spooky ritual props I made a little while ago for to honour the Thrice Cursed Court, a fantastical inversion of the typical triple goddess from my regular larp. These tread the line of in universe religious crime/treason so dont tell anyone my character made them alright ;P

I love how larpers can really commit to the bit because listen: I love acting, I'm a major theater person, I also love dressing up and am a cosplayer, on top of all that I am a writer and love creating things! HOWEVER I do not think I could take larping seriously. Like imagining Dan from accounting coming at me in a public park acting like an elf or something would take me out immediately. Like really props to you guys

I have no qualms playing characters that look different than I do in LARPs, with the exception of two traits. One, all my characters are the same height that I am. The idea that they don't see the same perspective that I see weirds me out. Two, they all have absurdly tiny wrists, no matter what their build is otherwise, because I cannot imagine what life people with wrists of a normal diameter are living. It's too far outside my scope of experience to fathom.

Hey guys, I restarted my blog, it鈥檚 a bit more open and I鈥檓 gonna be posting a more broad range of topics on here. Anyways here鈥檚 a larp safe weapon I created recently for my Druid warrior character at Veil of Ashes. It is a 30 inch long short sword made from 2lb eva foam with a fiberglass core.
