i want to break up prank
Mother Miranda] stares at you wide-eyed for the longest time before she just starts crying by that point you hug her and tell her it's a prank which she slaps you for, and cuddles you cuz you scared the shit out of her
lady-d] I'm breaking up with you, no. what do you mean no? Just no. doesn't believe you and she's right, but you will be punished for this later
karl-h] wh-what? the first time you have ever seen him cry and you're not evil so you hold him as he scolds you for scaring him
donna-b] starts shaking and crying immediately asking what she did wrong, in turn, making you cry cuz now you feel bad
moreau-s] is ugly crying and it takes about an hour to calm him down enough to tell him it's a prank
ethan-w] why? cuz umm... exactly. he knows you would never break up with him, but it does get a little giggle out of him in the end
mia-w] Never, not ever tell a woman you want to break up, in a kitchen. she grabbed a frying pan saying, do you want me to kill you? She knew it was a prank but you never did ask to break up again, and if you do it won't be in the kitchen
rosemary-w] its cuz I'm a freak... isn't it? you can't help but pick her up into your arms while telling her how much you love her. I'm sorry baby it's just a prank Bebe it's okay...
bela-d] she laughed right in your face, you're not breaking up with me love. is all she said before going back to the paperwork she was doing
cassandera-d] What, why, is it someone else? starts asking every question possible to try and fix the problem before telling her it is a prank, she is not letting you out of her sight for the next month
Danila-d] you just can't bring yourself the tell her that, cuz you called her into your shared room, and when she came in she ran up to you hugging you and saying how happy she was to see you.

A Day Off
A/N: Since I am in desperate need of comfort/fluff, I came up with this. Enjoy!
———
Alcina’s favourite maid has a bad day.
———
Tumblr media
Alcina, sitting in her atelier, was focused on her newest art piece. She only recently had gotten back into painting, and upon her new oil paints arriving, she had pushed work aside for once and hid away in her art room.
She even asked for her daughters to stay by themselves for the day, and put Bela in charge. Alcina wanted to dedicate herself to the work in process fully, without distractions.
The smell of fresh paint and sounds of birds chirping outside had fully consumed her, and hours passed without her noticing.
It was only when the feeling of hunger clawed at her throat that she noticed how much time had passed. Alcina called out, loud enough for the maids to hear.
“Yes, my lady.” Ingrid asked upon entering, her hands folded behind her back.
“Let y/n know I’m in desperate need of a glass of wine, and perhaps a small snack. She’ll know what to make me.”
Y/n had been her personal maid for almost three years at this point, having proven herself more than capable and worthy. Alcina took a liking to the girl, despite her wanting to admit it. She acted with grace, was humble and kind. Everything Alcina thought she herself was not, despite acting with grace.
The maid had left soon after, nodding before dismissal.
“Thank you, my-“ Alcina’s words ceased once her head turned and she was met by the image of Helena, and not y/n. “I asked for y/n, if I’m not mistaken.” Her tone now had a sharp edge to it, already feeling the annoyance bubbling up inside of her.
“Yes, my lady, I’m aware. But I was available, y/n isn’t feeling well today.”
Alcina paused, the paint covered brush slowly being lowered before placed down. It had surprised her that her little maid was feeling ill. In the years y/n had worked at the castle she might have fallen ill three times in total. Nothing could shake her, not even the freezing temperatures of the winter. Instead of freezing and sitting in front of her fireplace, she insisted on Alcina’s daughters receiving her firewood. ‘She didn’t need it’ she said.
“Well, send her the castle nurse. She will fix a remedy for whatever it is that is causing her to feel ill.” Alcina nodded, convinced this idea would be the solution. As the maid stood still, her mouth opening and closing to fish for an answer, Alcina snapped.
“Stop gawking at me like a dying bubble eye fish and do as I said! What am I paying you for?”
The maids mouth now stood agape in fear, and she stuttered for an answer. “I’m- my lady. I’m ever so sorry. A remedy from the nurse won’t help her. She’s just.. not feeling well mentally today.”
The maid paused, then adding in a panicked tone. “I apologise. I’m not sure if I was allowed to share that with you, Lady Dimitre-“
“I’m your employer, you’ll share with me when you last bled if I wish for you to.” Alcina growled, now standing and pushing the maid aside as she left her atelier.
As she strut through the castle, an anxious feeling overcame her. Y/n had always been collected and happy, and it seemed out of order for her to put work on hold. She had seen people die and burn because of Alcina’s wrath. People burning and screaming, being gutted, and managed to sleep like a baby. It confused Alcina.
She had slowed once entering the hallway leading towards the maidens rooms. Her heels thudded against the carpet, ceasing once having approached y/n’s room.
“Y/n?” Alcina called out, waiting for a response before gently knocking on the door with her knuckle. “Y/n, darling. I’ve heard that-“
Alcina stopped herself as the door opened. She fought the smile threatening to spread across her lips when y/n looked back at her.
“My lady.” She greeted, the same smile as always on the girls lips.
Alcina stood confused, licking her lips to moist them before pushing a smile back.
“Do you need me to wash your dress?”
Alcina’s brows furrowed “Pardon?”
“Your dress, my lady. It’s covered in paint.”
Alcina didn’t bother looking down at herself. Instead she shook her head and began to lean down, moving to step into the room as y/n stepped back to allow her to.
“I heard you were ill.” The stutter in y/n’s heart didn’t miss her. Alcina turned to look at her, waiting until she had closed the door before speaking again, her tone softer this time.
“You have always been by my side, ever since you came to Castle Dimitrescu. You’ve listened to me rant about my incompetent brother, complain over my business and daughters. You even dried my tears and blood for me. It is my turn to return the favour, my dear. Sit, and speak to me. What’s causing your little heart to beat this way?”
Alcina lowered herself onto the bed as she spoke. Y/n wasn’t sure if she had ever seen the kindness in Alcina’s eyes like there was now. It was inviting, comforting.
She obeyed, taking a seat next to her lady. It didn’t take long for the words to pool out of her, and all of a sudden, she had displayed the world to Alcina. Every single one of her concerns and problems laid splayed out before her, for her to look at and judge.
But instead, Alcina remained silent the whole time. Not once had she budged in to ask a question, even though there were multiple that burned on the tip of her tongue.
For comfort, Alcina removed the cream coloured handkerchief from her pocket. The Dimitrescu sigil was stitched into the corner.
Carefully, she had dried the maids tears. Her large hand cupped her cheek, and with the other she dried her tears.
Y/n cried, her face flush because of it and the embarrassment of crying in front of someone like Alcina. A wave of guilt overcame her for so freely unloading her problems onto Alcina.
“I’m sorry, my lady. I shouldn’t have burdened you with my problems, I-“
“Shush.” Alcina snapped, her voice immediately softening after. For a moment she hesitated, but then gently pulled her into her lap. She had to lift her slightly to her height to give her a proper hug. Alcinas gloved fingers ran through her hair, holding her close enough to feel her heartbeat against her own chest.
“Don’t ever say that. You are not a burden, or burdening me by speaking about your feelings. Your feelings are more than valid, especially in topics like the ones you have shared with me just now. I am beyond proud that you shared your concerns. It takes courage to speak up about one’s concerns. And from what I can tell, this has bothered you for a long time.”
Alcina gently peeled the maid off of her, only enough so she could look at her. Y/n had leaned on her only after moments, quietly crying into the woman’s shoulder.
Her hands cupped her small face, and Alcina spoke quietly.
“I want you to know that I always will be someone you can trust, and confine in. I’m here, and I’m listening. Do you hear me?”
A small sob bubbled out of her, and she nodded. Y/n’s eyes closed as Alcina pressed the most gentle kiss to her forehead, letting it linger enough for both of them to have time to relish in it before pulling away.
Her lips had left behind a red mark which she would make sure to remove later on. But for now, she was returning the hug y/n had given her. She had thrown her arms around the older woman, holding on tight as her walls began to fully break down and crumble beneath them both.
Alcina closed her eyes, holding her close as she swayed them from side to side. Whispering sweet nothings calmed y/n after a few minutes, and Alcina made sure to show her appreciation of the girl for the rest of the day.
“I started a new art piece.. would you like to join me in the atelier for the rest of the day?” Alcina offered with a smile which intensified upon seeing y/n smile at the suggestion.
She wondered if the girl would notice that it was her Alcina was painting. Taking a stroll through the Dimitrescu garden at midnight, the moon shining down on her.

Alcina rambled on and on about 'How that wretched MAID thought that she had ANY right to talk to me like that!?' And how 'Mother Miranda may have mercy on her soul'
The poor maid could only nod in silent agreement as she carefully cleaned up the broken wine glass. As she got up after finally managing to clean the deep red stain off the wall and reached for the door the lady herself turned from her vanity, and cleared her throat, her glare piercing through the much smaller woman
"Did I relieve you from your duties yet?" Her voice dripping with honey, a small broken smile on her painted lips
"No, but I'm done-" The maid tried to reason
"You're. done. when. I. say. you're. done." She punctuated each word, making sure to get her point across
"Now stand by me and wait till I'm done" She commanded, her patience running thin. WHY COULDN'T ANYONE SEE THAT!? IS EVERYONE AROUND HER AN IDIOT??
Her hand unraveled and her claws were unleashed, angrily slicing things. She could replace them later
Suddenly there was a splotch of red, and then another then. . .another
She didn't recall having any wine in the room
A crow landed on the balcony outside, temporarily catching her attention. They both stood there for a moment before the small crow changed into Miranda
"That's the fourth this week, you've been extremely easy to anger since your pet ran away" She circled Alcina before stopping in front of the unfortunate maid who was sliced into pieces
Miranda put one of her golden-clawed fingers on her cheek, showing faux interest
"Y/n wasn't it?"
Your name made Alcina wince, but she couldn't help but smile before she looked down at the dead maid in front of her. . .'The fourth one this week' replayed in her mind
Why did you have that hold on her? Why was she taunted by things that reminded her of you? Why couldn't you just disappear forever?
Light tears formed in the corners of her eyes, this wasn't supposed to happen. You aren't supposed to be gone, there isn't supposed to be a dead woman two feet in front of her. . .Miranda shouldn't be here
She composed herself before speaking
"Mother Miranda, why are you here? If I may ask"
The blue-eyed woman store back at her before reaching into her pocket and pulling out an eerily familiar item
A golden necklace with Alcina and her daughters' names embroidered into it. The light in the room was bright enough to make the necklace shine, and her name highlighted
"Where did you get this from?" She reached a shaky hand out to take it, running her thumb over the names. She suddenly dropped it, the item felt like lava to her touch
"She came to me, she said that she didn't need it anymore" Miranda lied through her teeth and she knew that Alcina knew
The smell of blood overwhelmed her senses as she brought her hands up to her face. This particular scent of blood she knew very well
"Why did she come to you? Was she hurt?" The tall woman picked her words carefully, knowing that if she showed any signs of anger toward Miranda then it would be over and she'd never know what happened
"Severely, she only gave me the necklace though. After that, she walked off, not to be seen again. She probably went to Heisenberg, you know they have a bond" She directed her attention to someone she knew Alcina hated
Alcina couldn't control the anger that coursed through her body at the mention of her brother
"I should go-" The tall woman took two big steps toward the door before she was blocked by Miranda
"No, no. You shouldn't, she wouldn't come back to someone who kicked her out. Heisenberg is treating her very well" She knew that would get a rise out of her but continued
"You don't need her, she doesn't deserve you"
Alcina could only stand there and try to block out whatever Miranda was saying
"But. . ." Her voice was small, her former self peaking through for the first time in decades
"Are you going against my wishes?" Her eyebrow was lifted, and her eyes seemed much brighter, captivating Alcina
She shook her head absentmindedly
"Good girl" She praised
The praise overwhelmed her. Mother Miranda praised her, all of her hard work paid off
What was she crying about again?
"Now Alcina, I'll go get a maid to clean this up while you. Relax" Alcina smiled and nodded before going back to her vanity, taking off her makeup
Miranda smirked as she left, the necklace in her pocket
—-
"Ooo" Salvatore exclaimed as he found a new pile of bones left over from the Lycans' meal, planning on making another bone crown

Mommy!Alcina dimitrescu x little!fem!reader
Warnings: age regression, nightmares, breastfeeding, and comfort/fluff
Alcina was suddenly woken up by screaming to which she immediately shot up in the bed. She looked around in alert and saw you curled up into a ball sobbing your little heart out.
Seeing you so upset made alcina’s stone heart crack in half. She gently touched your arm and you jumped at the contact which made you hid under your pillow.
“Shhh…baby. It’s okay dove. It’s just mommy.” She said to you in a quiet voice. You looked up at her with big watery eyes and threw your arms around you as you sobbed some more.
“M-mommy! I-I hads bads d-dream!!” You cried to her. Alcina tsked and frowned down at you. “I’m so sorry fetita (babygirl).” Alcina responded with as she started rubbing your back as you snuggled into her large comforting chest as you kept crying.
Alcina has tried giving you a warm bottle, your stuffies, bouncing you gently in her big, strong arms, singing a Romanian lullaby to you, she tried giving you a bath filled with scented bubbles. She has tried everything she can think of besides trying to breastfeed you.
Alcina always has wanted to breastfeed your little self, but she was just to shy and scared to ask you. She was scared that you would think it was disgusting or too childish, but she asked you about it when you were in your headspace and when you were out. Both your big and little self said yes that you would love to try it out one day and alcina was beaming at your answer.
A couple of minutes went by and you were still sobbing so she decided that it was the right time to try it with you. She lifted you off her lap which made you cry harder, and she shushed you quietly. She took off her nightgown which showed her naked, pale body that you adored when you were out of your headspace. She laid down back beside you and lifted you into her arms again, cradling you. Alcina picked up her right breast and gently rubbed her pink nipple across your lips. You opened your mouth and started to lightly suckle onto her breast to which you started to calm down.
Alcina sighed in relief that you finally started to calm down and stopped crying. You continued to suckle on her breast filled with her warm milk until you started closing your eyes signaling that you were falling back asleep. Alcina leaned down to your ear whispering “goodnight fitita. Mommy loves you so much. I won’t let anyone or anything harm you.”
A/n: I apologize that it’s so short but I hope that y’all enjoyed! Make sure that y’all rest and stay hydrated! I love you guys <3

Could you write a part 2 to the angry at Alcina one? (And make it angst but with a happy ending?)
haha okay, I thought of leaving you with only one part but—
That is 2. part of
Alcina Dimitrescu x angry reader
There is 1. part
You looked at her with numb face. Alcina Dimitrescu usually had an expression of powerful, demanding woman but now... She just had a dumb face. Speechless, blinking too much. What did you just say....? "Y/N, do you–"
But you cut her off by running off of your chambers. No, no, no, everything went wrong. And it was your fault.
You weren't arguing-well type. You usually cry during it or just gave up anything just to let it go. But now... Your bad mood gave you enough confidence to do this.
Alcina was the most important person to you, your darling wife. And you just... made her feel like she was the worst thing that happened to you.
Alcina was looking into the wall in front of herself. She tried, she really tried to stop tears running form her eyes.
She was well aware of the fact that she wasn't good person. She killed, tortured and it brought her joy. But she also loved her daughters, loved you, she cared deeply about – she would give her life for you.
According to that, she had never seen herself as a monster. She thought that word didn't describe her. Even if it hurt, it wasn't her.
But now... She knew her personality was hard. She knew that sometimes she could say something harmful to her beloved ones.
But if her own wife regretted falling in love with her, she felt like her world was falling apart.
That meant she hadn't made you happy even once, she hadn't loved you enough, she hadn't supported you enough. But she had hurt you enough to say so. And only monsters were able to do something like that.
She quickly stood up and started to look after you, almost running around the castle, she finally found you in the library – the place you hated the most.
"Y/N... Talk with me." she looked at you with uncertain expression, tears on her cheeks. Seeing her hurt made you even more mad. You should be the one who was hurt, not her.
"About what?" You couldn't force yourself to even look in her direction, "about how you trapped me in that damn lonely tower or about how you only care about yourself?" You were well aware of what you were doing. Again, in anger, telling her how big disappointed to you she was.
"That was never my intention." She bit her lip in order to stop crying. "Of course it wasn't!" You looked her straight into eyes. "You don't give a fuck about things I sacrificed just to be with you and yet, you dare to say I would be nothing without you." She could feel your anger almost floating in the room, "what exactly did you give me?"
Alcina thought for a moment... But she couldn't find even one thing. You had had everything before she had come to your life. Golden castles, family which gave you everything, your "doctor" title, you were living your favourite life almost like from a dream. But you dropped everything just to be with her. While she couldn't give you even one thing in return.
"Myself... and my love." You almost laughed when she said it, "Alcina... Loving you was young, and wild, and free, and hot, and sweet. It was like it. I loved our love. But now... Loving you is dumb, dark and cheap, loving you will still take shots at me." You looked at her with that hurt gaze. You only had looked like that at her once before – when she killed innocent person in front of you.
"I feel like up to the sky when you take me in your arms, when you tell me sweet nothings in my ear at family dinner, but then, next day comes and you yell at me, don't let me do anything alone, you treat me like your property... What did happen to our love, Alcina?" You said, your voice trembled at every word. Slowly, you placed your hand on her cheek, weeping off tears. Your anger, seeing your wife in that state, was almost gone.
She looked at you with something new in eyes – with disappointment. But that time she was disappointed in herself.
"I... I suppose you're right..." She said with voice full of pain, you had never heard her like that, "You left your loving family for me, you helped me with ou– with daughters, you left your own live for me. You really gave me all of yourself. And yet... All I gave you was pain."
"I have been loving you in selfish way. Wanted you all to myself, I completely forgot about your needs. I was– I am a bad wife and you still look at me with that heart eyes. But I– I understand why you regret loving me." Her voice was quieter and quieter with each sentence. "If I were you... I would do the same. Nobody wants to love a monster."
You opened your mouth with surprise. Only now you noticed what exactly had you done.
You made her think about herself as a monster. It was all your fault. But she wasn't one. Only she was able to made you laugh like never before, to made you happier than ever, to made you feel again.
"I married a goddess, not a monster" You could hear her low chuckle, full of sadness. "And you didn't notice when a goddess turned into one." You could feel tears in your eyes. Your fault, your fault, your fault.
"Alcina, don't think about yourself in such a way." Your tone was almost begging.
"My own wife regrets loving me." She reminded you softly. "Alcina... I– It was in anger... I really love you and your love is the most beautiful thing that happened to me." She looked at you and bit her lip, not believing you.
"Just... talk with me, Alcina. Because I feel like I'm trapped but I want to change that, I want our love again." You whispered.
Alcina only smiled at you and carefully took your hand in hers, "I will do everything in my power to prove you that loving me... is worth something."

OMG I JUST THOUGHT OF THE GREATEST PROMPT
Okay so due to some experiment gone wrong Alcina shrinks down into a really small size (like she can fit in your hand). How does reader react? How does Alcina react? What hijinks ensue (looking at the girls)?
It took some time, but here we are! I am so behind on prompts. I hope you enjoy it.
Little Body, Big Temper
Tumblr media
"There have been… complications.”
Your face twists into a snarl. From the moment Miranda suggested another experiment, you had doubts. Alcina, of course, wanting to please Miranda, agreed.
“I knew this was a horrible fucking idea! Where is she?!”
Miranda stepped aside, revealing the empty room behind her.
“SHE’S GONE?!” You yelled with your eyes ripped wide open.
“Look. Down.”
Lowering your gaze, your jaw dropped. Alcina, a… tiny Alcina, stood by Miranda’s feet. She barely even reached over the woman’s ankle!
“Holy shit.”
Kneeling, you took a closer look at your now tiny wife. Only to realise she was fuming.
“How are we supposed to have sex like this?!”
Her voice was high-pitched, for some reason. Your cheeks burn bright red as you look up at Miranda, gritting your words through your teeth.
“Fix. This.”
You wanted this fixed for more reasons other than Alcina’s high sex drive, of course. What would the girls think?
“If it doesn’t wear off by itself, I will start working on a cure. Go home in the meantime.”
Alcina took matters into her own hands and began to climb you, quite literally, like a tree. Pulling her tiny body up by your clothes, she eventually took a seat on your shoulder and held onto a tiny batch of your hair.
“Home.” Was the only word she grumbled next to your ear in a high-pitched tone.
—--
“Mama! Where’s Mother?” Cassandra asked once she stepped out of her swarm, smiling at you. “Did everything go well?”
You grimaced, offering a smile as you held up the tiny version of Alcina in your hands.
“Do not. Laugh.” Alcina said as she stared up at her child.
Oh and Cassandra tried, she truly did. Her face began to turn red as she stood and looked down at her tiny mother before a bubbly laugh burst out of her and she leaned over with laughter.
“Oh- Oh, this is amazing! BELA! DANI! C-Come downstairs! Mother is TINY!”
The other two soon swarmed into the main hall, looking at their sister in confusion before their eyes fell on their shrunken mother in their mama’s hands.
“OH!” Bela yelled with laughter, holding onto her younger sister as they laugh while Daniela stares in shock before picking up her mother from your hands.
“Mother..?”
Alcina sighs as she looks at her youngest, shrugging her shoulders and letting her hands drop.
“Stop laughing at your mother, you two!” You bellowed, shooing the two back upstairs as you scolded them before standing with Daniela.
“When is she.. uhm..” Daniela stuttered, looking at the tiny version of her mother standing in her hands.
“We don’t know yet.” You replied, picking Alcina back up and sitting her on your shoulder.
You could hear her huffing slightly as she gets passed around from lover to daughter and daughter to lover.
“Mother Miranda said that it should wear off by itself, hopefully. And if it’s not, she’s working on a cure. No need to worry. Now go upstairs and get ready for bed with your sisters.”
The redhead gave her tiny mother a last, worried look before swarming upstairs.
—--
“Draga.” Your lover’s shrill voice came from the ground.
Turning your head, you smiled down at your tiny wife. Alcina refused to speak lots because of how she sounded, so she simply lifted her arms as a sign that she wanted to be picked up.
You let out a small chuckle while carefully picking her up before she points to the sink.
“Oh, you want to get ready for bed. Of course.”
Setting Alcina down on the sink, she stood and watched as you grabbed a cotton swab and put some water on it after debating your choices.
Alcina grimaced as you began to rub the end of the cotton swab on her cheek.
“Oh stop that!” She yelled, swatting it away. “That is just horrendous!”
“How else am I supposed to wash you?! I can’t stick you in the bath, now, can I?! You have the height of this fucking cotton swab!” You yelled back, holding it up before tossing it into the trash.
“Y/n language!”
“Well there isn’t much you can do about it now, can you?”
Tiny Alcina’s eyebrows raised as she placed her hands on her waist, staring up at you.
“Oh just you wait, you little brat. Once I rise to my full height again, I will spank that foul language and attitude out of you, do you hear m-” She began her threat, pointing her little finger at you.
But for as long as you could, you decided to have some fun and take advantage of the situation.
“Go on with your threats and I’ll stick you in a jar.”
Alcina’s jaw dropped, her finger frozen midair. This was the first time you had ever talked back to her, and her reaction showed you that this was due long ago. You shook with the laugh vibrating in your chest which you tried to contain, in the end failing miserably and laughing down at the tiny version of your shock-frozen wife.
At least you were laughing until you slowly had to lean your head back to look at her.. and then the ceramic sink broke underneath Alcina’s weight.
Staring down at you was now Alcina at her full height once more, immediately wiping the laugh off your face along with every colour that had been on it.
“Now,” She grumbled, jaw clenched. “Would you like to step into the barrel yourself, or do you want me to squeeze you into it?”
You knew she wouldn’t leave you in there forever. But perhaps a few minutes to teach you a lesson.
You tried to smile, slowly moving backwards out of the bathroom.
“Your hair certainly looks magnificent, my lady. Even after all this-”
“GET HERE, YOU LITTLE-”

So I saw your post about taking some RE8 requests. Can I please have our favorite lady, Alcina Dimitrescu walking in to find her maiden crying/upset about being made fun of by the other maids for being chubby? I need the assurance that only a 9'6" woman is capable of.
Absolutely! I'm a chubby gal myself and boy don't we need that 9"6 Lady hahaha

Alcinas day had gone smoothly so far. For once, her daughters were behaving, the newest wine shipment had just been made that she had spent weeks preparing for, and lunch had been one of her favourite dishes.
The past week had been quite chaotic. Her girls never let her get off her feet and eventually Alcina did have enough. Once they were all sat at the dinner table yesterday, Alcina told them how truly exhausted she was and explained that them misbehaving did not contribute to that in any way.
The girls felt bad at an instant for their behaviour and promised their mother at least one day without them causing trouble.
And that day was today.
With a glass of wine, not Sanguis Virginis, but wine, she made her way to her atelier. She had been feeling quite artistic as of late and with todays silence she decided it would be a good time to start another project.
But what size canvas would she use? Oil or acrylic paint? Which brushes? Hard or soft? What would she even paint? Surely all the naked women paintings were nice to look at, but there were a few too many scattered across the castles walls.
Her peace of mind, however, was destroyed once she entered the sacred room and heard the heartbeat lingering about.
An annoyed scowl settled on her face as she groaned, looking around the room to find the culprit who had entered her atelier.
Every maiden in the castle knew that the atelier was off limits. The only one allowed inside, even if that, was Lady Dimitrescu's former personal maiden who had passed a few years ago. Ever since then its been only her inside the room. Last time she found an intruder inside, she cut off her hands and said.
"So you can not open doors you're not supposed to."
It was a particularly bad day for her at that, but oh well. Whats done is done.
"Show yourself, and I might spare you your hands, you little pest"
She hissed, all the calmness like washed away and replaced by pure annoyance. Her day had started so good! Why ruin it now!
The stutter in the persons heartbeat and voice caused her to nearly drop her glass once she noticed who it was. And once they stepped out, in what state they were in.
"I'm- My Lady I'm so sorry. I will l-eave right away."
She said, choking on her own tears as she began to fix her clothes from sitting on the floor.
Alcina stared at the little woman so hard she thought lasers might shoot out of her own eyes and through the woman's face.
Y/n muttered another stuttered apology while trying to not again burst into tears and make her situation with her lady even worse. Alcinas body turned as the maid passed her and walked to the door, but before she had a chance to leave, Alcinas hand wrapped around the young woman's arm and gently pulled her back.
Alcina cursed herself for not recognising that little heartbeat when she came in. She had listened to it quite a few times whilst she read or worked, finding this particular rhythm to be quite comforting. There was no fear when y/n worked, no worry to do something wrong. She was just focused on her task, and she was confident at that too.
The matriarch found herself reading at the same time you were a couple times. At first she had been worried when your heartbeat began slowing and just to check, she rushed to where she heard it coming from just to find you wrapped and surrounded in a pile of pillows and blankets in the library, so absorbed into the book you were reading that you didn't even hear your Lady come in.
After that, she reminded herself that whenever your heartbeat slowed, you were reading. And whenever it picked up for a few minutes, she couldn't help but quietly chuckle at the fact that you had probably gotten to a good part in the book.
She had gotten fond of you.
"Tell me," She said, placing her glass down on a small table before leaning down to your height. "Why are you crying in my atelier? You know no one is allowed to enter without my permission. And did you ask me if you may enter this room? No, I don't believe you did."
The leather of her glove was cold against your skin, your eyes eventually finding hers after Lady Dimitrescu wiped your tears for you.
"I know, my lady. That's why I'm here.. no one dares to bothers me in here."
You muttered quietly, embarrassed about the fact that this hadn't been your first trip to your lady's atelier.
Alcina felt a longer conversation come on, and she could definitely not bend down this entire time. She ordered for her maiden to sit on the ground, and to y/n's shock, the lady joined her on the floor.
"Why would someone bother you, y/n?"
You didn't hear your name come from your Lady often. But when you did, the sound burned itself into your ears for at least a few days.
Yet you didnt know where to start to answer her question. Sitting in silence, you tried to make up a start in your head. Alcina practically heard the wheels in your head turning as you thought. She sighed, cupping your tiny face in her large hands and making you look up at her properly.
"Y/n. Talk to me, that is an order."
Her voice was a lot firmer now. She originally did it as an attempt to show you that she was serious about this, but when she saw the new bunch of tears well up in your eyes, instant regret washed over her. Her stern expression dropped as she shook her head quickly.
"No no no, don't cry. Just tell me whats wrong, dulce servitoare"
You couldn't help but to start crying, looking up at your lady as she held your face in her hands. Leaning into her touch, she ended up pulling you into her lap and embrace.
Alcina didn't know what came over her in that moment, hugging a maid. But it felt like the right thing to do. She can curse herself for building a liking to you another time, but for now she had to find out what was going on.
Y/n sat in her lap and cried, cried her poor little human heart out on her lady's chest. And Alcina let her. Even caressed her back when she did, patiently waiting for her little maid to begin explaining.
"A few of the other maiden.." She began after a while, sniffling and rubbing her eye. "Well, they make fun of me from time to time and today it just bothered me a lot."
Alcinas head shot down to look at the woman in her arms, rage painted once across her face. Bullying?! In her castle?!
"They bully you?"
You nodded sheepishly, trying your best to just sink into her and disappear.
"Why."
The tone alone let you know it wasn't a question she was asking, you didn't have to look at her face to know that.
For as long as y/n had worked at the castle, which would be three years in a few months, there hadn't been a single case of someone being bullied. And now it was Alcinas new favourite maid?! She couldn't believe what she was hearing, but decided to get all the information she could get first before she went and cut out some tongues.
"Because I'm on.. well, the heavier side let's say. Dresses and gowns don't look too flattering on me my lady, they make fun of it."
Alcinas eyebrows knit together, so tight you could've thought it was a single one.
"They bully you because you weigh more? Because it makes you look different than them?"
Again, you nodded against her chest, able to hear the low growl rumbling in it somewhere as she kept it in.
Bullying because of someones appearance! She couldn't believe it. At once, she stood up with the maiden in her arms bridal style and carried her out of her atelier and down the hallway. No painting for today.
Y/n yelped when they suddenly stood up, holding onto her lady as good as she could.
"You know Y/n," She began, ducking under a few doorways as she walked through the castle. "I think you are the most beautiful maiden in this castle. Your looks are absolutely to die for, sometimes I find myself envying you even."
Your cheeks burned bright red as you laid in her arms. She envied you?
"Mmm, yes. You have a beautiful body and soul, draga. None of them can compare."
She set you down once you both had reached her garden, smiling down at you.
"Do you think Aphrodite looked like them? Thin and scrawny? No. She was a woman. She had strong thighs, belly rolls and maybe even a double chin." She chuckled, her heart making a small flip as she edged out a small chuckle out of you as well.
"You, my dear," She said softly, squatting down to your height and placing her hands on your shoulders. "Are my castles Aphrodite."
Your lip began trembling as tears once again burned in your eyes. No one had ever talked to you this way, and out of all people it was your own lady? You knew she spoke the truth, she hated liars.
Before you knew it, she had kneeled down and pulled you into another hug once again. Her large hand rubbed your back as you nuzzled into her shoulder, inhaling her scent and god she smelled lovely.
"You are absolutely magnificent y/n, don't let them tell you otherwise. I know what it's like. People back in my time, when I was still human, they never liked my looks. Not because I was heavy, no, but because of how I am proportioned. I was called countless names, some made me cry the way you have been crying. But I learned to love and embrace what they didn't like and how to make myself look good."
She pulled away, gently pushing you infront of her to take a good look at you.
"I will call my sister later today and we will get you some dresses that you feel comfortable in. Hm? How does that sound?"
She smiled, and so did you. Smiling from one ear to the other in fact. You quickly nodded at her words.
"It sounds fantastic, my lady."
Alcina pointed to a batch of black roses.
"Do you see that one rose that looks different than the others? It has more of a purplish hue.. the petals are bigger, more voluminous.." She drifted off, her eyes finding yours again as you nodded once more.
"Sometimes looking different and being bigger isn't a bad thing, draga mea. That rose is my favourite in the whole batch."

Sorcery's Echo
CHAPTER TWO: WARM WELCOME
LINK!
“Who is this.” A blonde, dressed almost identical to Daniela, sneered as she stood at the end of the hall and leaned against one of the doorways. “You have brought an outsider into our home, after Winters?”
The girl's contempt was obvious. Daniela frowned.
“Explain yourself, before I tell Mother about your shenanigans.”
“No, please Bela! Don’t tell Mother."

Alright I've got a prompt for you: RE8 women (including mother miranda) have a nightmare, how does the reader deal with it?
If you keep making me write fluff like stuff about Miranda, you might just succeed with your mission 😂 But yes, absolutely. Here we go!
-----
Alcina:
She was never one to stir much when she slept. Once she had found a comfortable position, which most of the times was behind you with her arms wrapped around you, she would most likely not move again until she woke up.
It was one of the first nights in winter when the snow began to stick when it happened, when your wife began to squirm in her sleep.
The sounds of her whimpers, her rough handling on you and the moving of hers woke you. Squinting, you turned your head to take a look at the taller woman behind you.
"Cina?" You whispered, even in the dark you could see the layer of sweat covering her.
Turning over to face her, you sat up in bed and gently began to shake her arm to wake her from whatever bad dream she was having.
This hadn't been the first time she seemed to be getting a bad nights sleep, but this was the first time she was actually seeming to be having a nightmare.
Even the thought of Alcina going through something horrible in her dream made you frown. She was strong, but in the dream world? God knows what was happening.
The gasps and shallow breaths coming from her spurred you on to shake her a tad harder, eyebrows furrowing with worry.
"Alcina, draga."
Nothing. Her squirming continued.
Turning back for a split moment, you turned on the small lamp on your bedside table before turning back to your wife, almost gasping at the sight of her. Hair was sticking to her sweat covered forehead, just like her nightgown clung to her body. The mattress beneath her was absolutely drenched, as well as the sheets on pillow.
"Alcina damn it! Wake up, you're dreaming!"
You couldnt deny the fact that you had began panicking, especially after seeing your wife in the state she was in. Alcina never broke a sweat, not even after a trail ride in the middle of June with the scorching sun shining down on you both.
"Draga mea, why are you panting like that? I am positive even the girls back at the castle can hear you."
"Nothing, I'm just- incredibly hot."
Your wife grinned, her nude painted lips stretching into a smile.
"Well," She mused. "That I know, but-"
"Oh gods! I am sweating Alcina."
"Oh yes, of course. Of course."
Holding her damp face in your hands, you yelled her name once more before she finally opened her eyes with a loud gasp. Before you could even ask her what was wrong, what had happened, she pulled you against her sweaty body. Her arms were holding you so strongly, you thought she might squish you like a blueberry.
"The girls, the girls." She breathed, repeating herself over and over before eventually shooting out of bed, leaving you behind to follow which you did as soon as you could process what was happening.
On her way out, she grabbed her shawl and pulled it over before she began chasing the wind through the castle.
As fast as your human legs could carry you, you followed your wife through the dark castle. No chandelier was lit, no candle, nothing. The only source of light had been the moon shining through the windows.
It was like watching her chase a ghost through the corridors of her home with how fast she was walking.
As soon as she reached her daughters chambers, she opened the door to Cassandra's room and peeked inside.
First daughter, safe and sound.
Turning to the second door, she checked it the same way, worry slowly leaving her body.
Second daughter, safe and sound.
She checked Daniela's room last. When she found her youngest cuddling the little stuffed animal bat Donna made for her, she let out a relieved sigh and closed that door as well before turning to her wife.
"I had- it was a nightmare- they-" She stuttered and you smiled, pressing a kiss to her hand before leading her to the dining room.
You prepared her a cup of tea, poured a generous amount of blood and sat down with her. You never let go of her hand whilst she told you about the horrid dream she had.
And even though you weren't able to convince her to get back to bed, the both of you took a nice midnight stroll through the woods, even spotting a few fireflies. That was the first time she had called you firefly, and she would continue to for many years to come
Donna:
You knew her to be a very light sleeper. Even when you turned over in bed to cuddle into her, she would wake and smile while wrapping an arm around you to bring you closer.
When one night, Donna didnt bring you closer or let a small chuckle, you looked up at her through your eyelashes and with furrowed brows.
You had always been a very clingy person. At first, Donna never knew how to deal with it since she had been alone for a very long time. But once she found to enjoy the little and sometimes big affectionate touches you gave her, she grew accustomed to it.
"Donna?" You whispered quietly. "Cuddles?"
A small pang of worry hit you when she remained laying on her back, not moving a single bit. You weren't even sure if she was breathing.
"Don?" You frowned, gently nudging your wife's arm as you sat up.
Swallowing the lump building in your throat, you turned your head to the side and called for Angie. Maybe she could tell you if Donna was alright. When not even your shout for Angie woke her, and when Angie hadn't given a snarky remark from another room for waking her, your worry began to become justified.
Turning your head back to her, you gently grabbed her arms and shook her lightly while softly calling her name.
There was no tension in Donnas body whatsoever, you felt it when you shook her. No resistance, nothing. Tears began to burn in your eyes at the thought of her laying next to you in bed, dead.
No, it couldn't be. "Donna!!" You yelled, shaking her roughly this time. You never.. manhandled her like this before. You knew she would've hated it.
When she finally woke, she just opened her eye and stared at the ceiling. You sat in silence, watching and unsure of what to do. Until you heard her voice.
"Coccolona?" She whispered, eyes fixated on the ceiling.
She had begun calling you Coccolona when she found out how much you loved physical touch. She let you know it was in no way a bad thing, but translated into 'Cuddly'.
"Yes? Donna are you-" Before you could finish, she had pulled you down into her embrace and held you close. Her hand sneaked into your hair, running her fingers through it as she continued to stare at the ceiling above.
"A bad dream. That is all it was." She whispered, pressing a small kiss to your hair.
"I-.. I thought you were dead. You didnt react and- and you weren't looking like you were breathing. And Angie didnt answer either and-"
The more you talked, the faster you got. Donna could feel your heartbeat against her own chest, how it hammered against you ribs. She hadn't had a nightmare like this in a long time, where it pulled her down so deep that she wasnt responsive anymore.
Later on she had told you it might've been because she had worked in the garden a lot in the past week and inhaled a lot of the pollen. And even though it didnt have the usual effect on her like on other people, the reason why she never let you in the garden when the flowers were blooming, it still did something to her. And in this case, it was a very vivid and real feeling nightmare it pulled her into.
For the next week you refused to let her into the garden, threatening that if she went, you'd go with her.
From then on, Donna began wearing a mask whenever she worked in the garden to not give you another scare.
Bela:
You hadn't been assigned Lady Bela's maid for long, but when you were, Lady Dimitrescu made sure you had been assigned the room next to her eldest in case she ever needed anything. She did the same to her own maiden.
One particular night, you were up in bed reading. Only recently you had discovered the fairy tale part of the Dimitrescu library and were now reading a few tales of the Grimm Brothers.
It was already incredibly late, past 12, but you were fascinated by the stories written. Halfway through 'Mother Holle', you heard something from Lady Bela's room. Turning your head and furrowing your brows, you pressed your ear to the wall and tried to listen out.
Once you realised it were cries you had heard, you rushed out of your own and into her room. She was wriggling in her sheets, crying in her sleep.
You made haste at trying to wake her, gently shaking her and calling her name a few times before the girl shot up in bed.
Jumping back from it and her, you both stared at each other.
"I heard you crying, my lady." You began, the first to break the uncomfortable silence. "I figured I should come and check on you. You were crying in your sleep. Bad dream?"
The eldest nodded, wiping tears from her face whilst her face flushed with embarrassment.
Whilst you waited for an order from her, perhaps get her a snack or just leave, she began to tell you a bit about what had happened.
"The castle.. it was attacked. Everyone died. I couldn't help them."
She kept it short and simple, you took the hint that she didnt want to go into detail with it since it was very upsetting and unsettling.
"I understand." You said softly, giving a single nod. "It must have been very upsetting."
The girl looked at the book in your hands which you didnt even manage to put down and just dragged along. She nodded to it whilst sitting up, pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them.
"What's that?"
Taking a look down, you held it out to her.
"Grimms fairy tales. I was reading it before I heard you."
The hesitation on her face and in her voice was not to miss. "Would you.. well, read your favourite to me? Mother used to read to us ages ago, but she's gotten so busy.."
You smiled, nodding and taking a seat in the chair by her bed. Whilst you got seated, Bela laid down once again and tried to get comfortable.
Crossing your legs, you laid the book on them and flipped back to the beginning of the chapter.
Clearing your throat, you began reading.
"There once was a widow who had two daughters-- one of whom was pretty and industrious, while the other was ugly and idle."
You smiled at the small chuckle you heard come from underneath the blanket she had tucked into.
"But she was much fonder of the ugly and idle one, because she was her own daughter."
Cassandra:
Walking into her room to serve her a small glass of wine before sleep, you mustered the bookshelf by the wall.
She was just getting into bed when you turned to her with a smile.
"You like Edgar Allen Poe?" She turned, looking at the beaming smile you gave her.
Slowly, she nodded while leaning back in bed.
"I do, yes.." She paused, gnawing on her bottom lip. "Do you?"
"I love his work, my lady." You beamed, coming over and setting the tray you were holding down on the nightstand before pouring her her cup of blood. "If you'd like, I could read you my favourite poem of his."
She seemed to think about it while she took a sip, staring at the bookshelf and then you, before nodding. "I would like that."
So you did. Once she had finished her cup, you retrieved the book from the shelf and flicked through the pages as you took a seat in a chair close to the bed.
Cassandra had already laid down, getting comfortable and closing her eyes as she waited for you to find the page and start reading.
Once you found it, you cleared your throat and checked in on her once more to make sure she was ready.
"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"Tis some visiter' I muttered, 'tapping at my chamber door-- only this, and nothing more"
By the time you had finished the long poem, Lady Cassandra was deep asleep. Putting a bookmark between the pages, you closed it and put it on her nightstand before getting up and beginning to clean her room like she's asked you to.
Picking up her laundry, dusting the shelves, sweeping the floor. Just when you were about to finish up, grab the tray and leave, you heard a whine coming from underneath the blanket.
Stopping, you looked at her outline under the blanket.
"Mm, no. No." She muttered, shifting in her sleep.
Your eyebrows furrowed, was she having a nightmare? Quietly, you placed the tray back down and gently pulled the blanket off her face to reveal the pained expression she had.
She repeated her mumbling, shaking her head and clinging onto the blanket.
"My Lady." You said softly, not wanting to leave her suffering in a bad dream.
You tried again. "Lady Cassandra.... Cassandra!"
With a small gasp, the girl woke and looked at you with her eyebrows knit together.
"Where is he?" She asked once gathering herself, grabbing the sickle underneath her pillow and sitting up, looking around the room.
"Where is who, Cassandra?" You asked confused, taking a small step back to get out of reach of her sickle.
"The intruder! Where is he?! Once im done with him, he won't be anything but a bag of bones!"
That's when it hit you, she had a nightmare because of the poem you read her. You tried biting back a small smile whilst placing your hand on her wrist, slowly making her lower her weapon.
"Cassandra, I read you a poem before you went to sleep. You had a dream about it. You are alright. I have been in here ever since you slept in, to clean like you asked me to. No one has entered this room. I just heard your mother call out 'goodnight' a few minutes ago. And she wouldnt sleep if there was danger, would she?"
Considering it, she looked up to meet your eyes and shakes her head. No, her mother wouldn't. She lowered her sickle completely once she was convinced you were right, sliding it back under her pillow.
"Would you like me to read you something a little more joyfu-"
Before you had even finished, she nodded, plopping back down in her pillow.
"Yes."
"Very well."
Little Daniela x mom!y/n: (A/N: Couldn't help myself 😬)
You and Alcina had gone to bed not long after you had put the girls to bed. It was a long day, the girls celebrated their 6th birthday and you and your wife were positively exhausted.
Alcina had the idea of taking them to a theme park and little Daniela had escaped multiple times, ending up somewhere else each time and leaving you and Alcina both carrying one child while running through the theme park like idiots, screaming your lungs out.
At some point Alcina even contemplated buying a leash for her.
"You know, I have seen these people buy leashes for their childre-"
"Alcina. I am not going to put our girl on a leash."
"Right. Well, just a thought, my dear."
Alcina had slept in as soon as her head hit the pillow. No wonder, you thought. She refused to wear sneakers and ran through the park in high heels. Her back and feet were killing her, she said. You just about managed to hold back the 'I told you so' at the tip of your tongue.
Just when you were about to doze off, nuzzling into your wife's arms, you heard one of the girls cry out for you both. Looking up at Alcina and seeing she was gone out of her mind, you got out of bed and made your way to your crying daughter.
Opening the door and peeking in, you saw Daniela, sitting up and crying on the bed. As soon as she saw you, her arms reached out for you whilst she sobbed and cried.
"Sweetheart.. whats wrong?"
You asked while coming over, sitting down on the edge of the bed and wrapping her up in your arms. She cried into your chest as she clung onto you, babbling her words into your skin.
"Sweetie I cant hear you. Look at mama and tell me whats wrong."
Daniela lifts her head, looking up at you with her big sad eyes and wobbling lip.
"I had a- a dweam that someone stole Miss Min-Mouse an now she's GONEEE!"
She wails, throwing her head back into her neck and crying as loud as she possibly could.
"Ohh darling," You coo, rocking her in your arms as you look around the bed, finding her laying close to your feet.
Daniela must've accidentally thrown it out of bed as she slept.
Nudging it up with your foot, you grab it and wrap both arms around her again while a small idea pops into your head.
"Well you know what?" Little Daniela looks at you once more, sniffling hard while shaking her head almost violently.
"Right when I was on my way to you, me and mommy found the guy who took Miss Min-Mouse. She's taking care of him right now to make sure he never steals another stuffed animal from children ever again." You said, smiling at your youngest and holding up the Minnie Mouse for her to see.
She smiled brightly once she saw that her beloved stuffed animal she had gotten today was not gone, but that her mommy and mama rescued her.
"You the best mama.." She sniffled, taking the stuffed animal and nuzzling into your chest. Pressing a kiss to her hairline, you mumbled a 'you're welcome' before tucking her back into bed.
"An mommy's the best too.. tell her, kay?" Looking up at you, she wipes her eye with the back of her hand.
You assure her that you will, smiling at her and wiping her tears.
"But you and Miss Min-Mouse need to sleep now. See how tired she is..? My, she's exhausted! Im sure that if you sleep, she will sleep with you. Okay?"
"Tay Mama. Ni ni"
"Night night, bumblebee"
Mother Miranda:
Tonight was one of the not so many nights where Miranda slept in your shared bed.
The closer Eva's birthday had gotten, the more time she spent in the lab and away from you. You couldnt be mad at her in any way, you understood why she does what she's doing.
She was a mother who's lost her daughter and was willing to give everything in the world to get her back once more.
You were there when Eva was born, when she grew up and then lastly died. Miranda was shattered, lost herself. It took her so long to recover and when she did, she was trying to bring her back.
And even though she never let you see what she was doing, she told you about it. She knew it was wrong, but she couldnt help herself. All she wanted was her daughter back with her.. and you.
During the time when Eva died, you never left her side. You took over everything she couldnt do. Cook, clean, take care of certain things and on some days, herself.
Now Miranda was sleeping next to you, breathing deeply and content. You had woken up when she came to bed a few hours ago and took the opportunity to admire her beauty.
Before she sneaked into bed, she had changed in her black sheer nightgown that ended on her mid thigh and put her hair back in a ponytail.
You took the opportunity when given and decided to stay awake and ogle her a tiny bit.
Gently reaching over, you wrap your arm around her and gently caress the skin between her wings. They flutter for a moment when you did before relaxing once more.
Her body relaxed when you caressed her skin and at some point even wings. You had always loved the feeling of her soft feathers on you skin.
However, you had to cut your ogling short when she began letting out rough breaths and furrowed her eyebrows. You almost immediately recognised what was happening.
She used to have nightmares like these almost every night after Eva died so you learned to recognise it fairly quickly.
Moving your hand from her back to her arm, you gently shook her to wake her up from whatever dream she was having. Her rough breaths turned into small grunts as she writhed in her sleep.
The first few times, she wouldnt wake up when you called her name.
"Randy" You said, voice laced with worry. She seemed to be so deep asleep that the usual shaking and calling her name didnt help.
You did what you were about to do once, and Miranda did not like it. Bracing yourself, you reached for her wings again and wrap your fingers around a big feather of hers before plucking it right out of her wing.
She yelled, shooting up in bed and looking around with the most bewildered look you had ever seen before her eyes fall on you and the feather in your hand that you had plucked from her.
"You-.. You plucked one of my feathers." It was more a statement than anything, but she sounded way more calm than the last time you did this. You turned the last feather into one to write with so the sacrifice hadn't been for nothing. Might as well just do the same with this one.
"I did, I'm sorry. I couldnt get you to wake and-"
Before you could finish, Miranda was all over you. Her arms around your neck, her wings pulling you as close as she could manage while she buried her face into your neck.
Kissing her head, you held her as close as you could possibly manage while again, caressing her wings and whispering sweet nothings to the shaking woman in your arms.
She hadn't said anything close to thank you when you comforted her, but she did deliver breakfast in bed every morning for at least a month after that and tried her best to sleep in the same bed with you most nights since after that one, it showed her how much you truly kept her calm.

I hope you enjoyed! I had fun writing this. :)

Second Opinion
I had this small idea before I went to bed last night, picking hairs I lost off of my pillow and the sheets lol. Basically, this is about hair loss and Alcina worrying that something is wrong.
Tumblr media
One particular morning, you woke before Alcina had. Normally she was the first to wake up, but today was different.
You had told her the night before that you were expecting your period soon and that you had to run down to the village today to get some tampons. She approved of it, but she didnt think you'd go this early in the morning.
Sighing deeply, she looked over at your empty side of the bed. Her eyebrows furrowed while she sat up, taking a closer look at your side of the bed. It was basically covered in hairs!
Rubbing her hand over the pillow in circular motions, she soon had a small hairball she could pick up. The alarms inside her head went off.
----
You were shivering when you stepped back into the castle, a small plastic bag in your hand. Peeling the coat off your shoulders, you made your way to Alcina and your bedchambers. Ever since you stepped out into the cold, you had longed to get back into bed with her and warm up beside her.
However, when you stepped in and called out to her that you were back, you weren't looking at one but two women.
"Y/n, dear. Lovely to see you." Miranda said, smiling softly as she stood before Alcina whom was sitting in her chair by the fire.
Looking at her surprised, you nodded your head. "You too, Mother Miranda. I am so sorry, I had no idea the both of you were to meet. I'll leave you both to it."
You said, hurrying to hang up your coat and tossing the bag over to the connected bathroom so you wouldn't interrupt any further.
"Actually, my dear." Miranda said carefully, coming over to you and placing her clawed hand on your shoulder as she looked down on you. "I am here for you."
Eyebrows furrowing, you looked at Alcina before back at the priestess. For you? "For me? Im sorry, Im afraid I dont quite understand."
Miranda turned her head to look at Alcina before turning back to you with a more serious expression.
"Alcina fears that you might be sick, little bird. Let me do a couple examinations to make sure that you are not, alright?"
"What?" You spat with shock, looking past Miranda and at Alcina. "Alcina! Why on earth would you call Miranda?? I am perfectly fine!"
"Are you?" Finally turning her head to you, you saw the tears on her cheeks and redness in her eyes. "You are losing a lot of hairs. Do you know why people lose hairs? Cancer!"
You pout at her while walking past the priestess and over to your girlfriend, taking her hand into yours and offering a smile.
"I am not sick. Nor do I have cancer, Alcina. Everything is okay."
"Then please, allow me to do some tests to make sure of it."
Turning to miranda with a sigh, you hesitantly nodded. "Fine, okay."
"Fabulous!" She beamed, wings fluttering as she stepped over to you and waved her hand at you. "Take off your clothes."
Your face dropped in not even a second as you looked at Alcina once more, the shock not to miss on your face. She just shrugged, nodding.
"If it requires you taking off your clothes..? It's just Miranda, dear."
"Unbelievable." You mumbled, beginning to undress your upper half before standing before her bare chested. "That's all you'll get."
With a small nod, she pulled off her talons off her fingers before reaching for your breast.
"This is so AWKWARD- Jesus!" You yelled, stepping back from the winged woman and rubbing your breasts.
Alcina leaned forward, her eyebrows furrowed with worry. She looked like she might cry again.
"Did that hurt?? She barely touched you-! Oh god, Miranda, she's going to die, isn't she?" She said, looking to her mother and breaking out into another row of sobs.
"Alcina," You said softly, trying to keep composure. "I am fine. She has very cold hands." You said, glaring at the blonde. "You know my breasts are sensitive.." You mumbled, lowering your arms again.
"Oh, apologies." Rubbing her hands together to warm them up, she stepped towards you once more.
------
"Well, good news." Miranda said while walking back into the room, Alcina clutching your hand tightly.
"Y/n is not sick.... as she tried to tell us. She just.. has a lot of hair and seems to lose just as many."
Turning to your lover, glaring at her, you fake smiled at her.
"I told you so. How about next time you refuse to eat, I will call Mother Miranda and we can wait and see what she shoves down which one of your openings."
Alcina grimaced, mumbling a few apologies. You chuckled while pressing a kiss to the back of her hand.
"It's alright. I know you were just worried. But please, talk to me first before you call Miranda to fondle my breasts."
