I made this hat recently! :-) I used the first thing I learned to knit as part of it (the top part), and the rest is crocheted.
It's rectangular on the hat part, but the corners can be styled into horn shapes when worn >:) I also added some leafy vines and long strips with stars on the ends, they work well as extra cover for the ears and sides of the head (^v^)b.·₊˚❀
I knitted a hat for my friend and it turned out so good!! It's a very simply pattern, just 2x2 ribbing then stockinette up, but I'm still pretty new to knitting so I'm really proud of myself
This is my first colour work hat, I used the Unbearable Hat pattern from Les Garçons, the yarn I used was from Sirdar in their Haworth Tweed line, the colours were 906 )West Riding Red), 901 (Hepworth Slate) and 911 (Cotton Grass Cream). There was an option for making little teddy ears to attach which I almost did, but I decided since I always wear headphones to help with my sensory needs and agoraphobia that it would likely be fairly uncomfortable if I were to add the ears…I’m tempted to make another one and add the ears just because I think it’d be cute. They also have a matching knitted hoodie which I really want to make one day.
lads I’m at it again because I’ve memorized this pattern and it’s stupid quick, just not wild that this one is turning out almost the same as the last one!! was hoping this one would have its colors in a different place
also place your bets as to how many hats I can get out of this one skein, no I’m not doing math to figure it out, math is for squares and not because I’m bad at it
it's day 23 of inktober and I had tons of fun working on the textures for this one! the little ball of stuff is definitely my favourite, since I had never thought of using that brush like this before today!!
I've started working on the piece for the 31st already, since I want it to be much more detailed than all these previous ones, but that also means I'm having a few problems keeping up with the daily art lol
hopefully it works out! have a nice next 24 hours c:
Pokéball hat and mittens for my sibling’s Christmas gift!! My first time really doing duplicate stitch (it scares me) so I’m proud of how these turned out!
Pattern: Mitts are Point Edward Mitts by Fairlight Fibers, hat is Retro Beanie by Woolly Wormhead. I made the Pokéball additions myself
Yarn: Stylecraft Special DK in Cream, Black and Red
