I just wanna point out the details of Hunter, Gus, and Willow here

How they all have trauma, how Gus is breaking down the most, how they sit beside him to comfort him because they both care about him a lot, how Hunter wants to comfort both of them because despite Willow’s strength she’s suffering too, the tortured looks on all their faces, etc etc

Just some things to consider

Gus being the one to full on cry is what got me in King’s Tide. As we all know, Gus is the youngest and most passionate about human culture. So seeing him finally here, a place he’s always dreamed about, sobbing just punched me right in the gut. He’s just a scared kid and needs his friends & family

The fact that Hunter was the only one who’s unable to say anything because

He’s in so much pain

He knows what The Collector is capable of

Also anyone notice how Amity went from refusing Alador’s hug and instead opted for a handshake in Reaching Out to LITERALLY not flinching when he kissed her forehead before separating in King’s Tide?? Now THIS goes to really show how much Alador has sincerely grown and changed between then for the better and the fact that Amity even sees this. Their relationship is really beginning to go in a more healthy and positive direction. In fact I wouldn’t even be shocked if Amity runs and hugs him the next time she sees him if they ever reunite again (That’s he ofc if she wants to or feels comfortable first and foremost)!

I noticed how much Hunter was trying to take care of Gus and protect him in the series and It was so fucking cute and I'm crying because he's such a sweet and protective older brother type of person to Gus.
