It's not often that Jimmy and I have what could be termed an "incompatibility," but at least when we do, it's something where we compliment one another.
Or, that's what I keep telling myself to keep from choking on my frustration that his priorities do NOT make sense to me at times. We have company coming over, and he had decided the OUTSIDE of the house is more important to clean up than the inside???
I guess that's him all over, anyway.

thursday dnd makes so so anxious sometimes bc like... i know i’m not good at dnd. not in roleplaying /or/ being particularly knowledgeable at spells/mechanics/lore and so its just... damn. would they rather i not play since they hate beau/marisha so much? bc she’s much better than me... and i’m sure jordan just has this thing about grinning and bearing it rather than telling me to stop coming. idk. i have fun but i don’t want to be the drag. especially if they don’t like having me there. so many times i’ve thought about skipping out bc they so vehemently hate and make fun of other people for being bad. games shouldn’t be so stressful.
its been nice though. since we moved here i rarely get to hang out with friends in person which really killed my mood for so long. And this kind of almost feels like having friends nearby, even if its just an appeasement bc they’re too kind to hurt my feelings and tell me to fuck off. i just always feel so awkward. they are so nice, but is it ever genuine? or just a put-upon nice facade bc they don’t want to look like the bad or mean guy. or is my brain just being mean to me?

Just read your new story for promptober and realized I know next-to-nothing about ‘modern day’ print culture. They have their own little societies, (which is rad btw, now I need a short with a print living in one of those) but then how do they end up working for normal humans? Do they get raided/abducted?? If so oof, but if not why in the world do they want a job like that? And I still DON'T KNOW HOW THEY END UP SHUNNED FROM SOCIETY FOR EXISTING.

This answer might offer more insight to the print / trinket universe and social norms!
Prints are heavily controlled in human society. They live in fenced slum-like communities with strict rules about where/when they can leave. The only jobs available to them are menial (cleaning, modeling clothes like living mannequins, etc.) Because there aren't many options, they take what they can get.
There are also free print communities living secretly in the wilderness. These are highly illegal, and when they are found, they are raided by authorities. Prints that survive these brutal raids are "welcomed" into "civilized" society 🙃
Feel free to ask anything else! This world is dense and it's hard to cover everything at once!

Do you think it was a common thing for fans of G/t to feel.ashamed even for things that were innocent G/t?
I remember feeling ashamed of watching the movie the borrower's by myself even when by myself
I've had a few friends have similar feelings, so maybe it's commom! I can only speak for my experience, though.
I remember being soooo shy when watching movies like The Borrowers, Ferngully, etc. Or reading books like The BFG or The Indian in the Cupboard. And if we reading/watching those in class, I put a lot of effort into pretending to be disinterested 😩
As a kid, I could never put into words why I felt like I had to enjoy it in secret lol?? I guess I was just so aware that the people around me weren't intrigued by the size difference the same level as I was, so it made me feel weird.
Anyone have similar experiences?

Do you have any tips/advice for writing spicy scenes, especially in a g/t context? I love the spicy stories you write but feel a bit awkward when I try to write one myself.
OH the awkwardness is all part of the process for me tbh! It depends on the characters ofc, but a lot of the spicy situations I write involve exploration and creativity by nature.

As with any writing, the best thing you can do is get your uninhibited ideas/draft on the page, then worry about refining/editing later. Feel safe with the knowledge that your first draft (and as many drafts as you want after that) is for your eyes only, until you decide the moment that other eyes should behold its beauty. Embarrassment is out! Sluttiness is in!
If you're trying to come up with ideas for a spicy scene, ask yourself:
Are the characters practiced with each other or still new to being intimate? Would they acknowledge anything that feels strange/new because of their size difference?
What prior experiences do these characters have, either with each other or with previous partners?
How can your characters' personalities play into the intimacy? Is the giant the type to love looming? Is the tiny excited by the idea of being so small yet so effective in their lovemaking?
Which sensations can you highlight/amplify, especially ones they may not be used to yet? (Touching in intimate spots with size difference in mind, the feeling of full-body kisses, etc.)
What sort of kinks might they have? (For example, Jon and Sylv have a food kink. Cliff and Zia have a thing with drinks.) Are they shy or forward about these kinks in a way that could add more dialogue/beats to the scene?
If you want your scene to be grounded in some emotional context, what has been going on in the characters' lives lately? Is this spontaneous spiciness, or something they've been looking forward to?
Is there an imbalance of nervousness vs. confidence between the characters that adds to the tension? How do they address that?
Are there any insecurities with their sizes? Does the tiny feel totally safe? Does the giant feel too big? Are they worried about not being a right "fit" for each other? If so, are they holding back, or ready to barrel past any insecurities?
What's helped me a lot is letting go of the idea that it's going to be perfect and nonstop sexy. These are extreme size differences we're working with here--things are gonna be WEIRD. Sometimes a bitch is gonna ride a giant dick and that's okay 🎉

Howdy! I decided to start using my AO3 account again! I’ll still post here as usual, but I want a place to keep track of all my stuff without having to worry about tumblr tags so much. There are A LOT of stories I want to transfer over, so it will be a while before everything makes it over.

i’ve been rereading some of your print/trinket verse stuff and i was just wondering what on earth ramona and kitten did to become trinkets?? they seem so sweet and…non-criminal-ish lmao
Sadly, there are sooo many totally unjust trinket sentencings :(( Hence why there is such a big underground network of rebels trying to put an end to the practice altogether.
In Ramona's case, she was born as a print in a community that was living under the radar. These kinds of communities are illegal, as prints are supposed to be regulated by the government. Her community was discovered and raided, and she refused to give in, so she was made into a trinket. It all just absolutely sucks for her because she had never seen humans before her home was raided, and now she's dealing with the world from an even more terrifying perspective 😭
As for Kitten... What she did is a secret. But it has been hinted that she was human before she was a trinket 👀✨

hi i love your characters and writing!! i was rereading some of your micah and everly stuff just cause theyre so adorable, and at one point everly mentions being turned into a trinket. so i was just wondering, what would it be like if ev was turned into a trinket for some reason? i can imagine she’d be absolutely terrified but micah would keep her safe :)
LISTEN, this question has had me spiraling with thoughts all day alskdjfs. YES, it would be cute to have Micah protecting the tiniest version of Everly, but it would also be so dark. It is a totally real fear for Everly to be turned into a trinket because of her and Micah's affiliation with the Rebellion.
SO, hypothetically. If that were to happen and Micah escaped that fate, he would be viciously trying to get Everly back, and he wouldn't let up--no matter the cost. That would be so difficult because trinkets no longer have an identity when they're changed, and civilians are not allowed to keep trinkets. Which means he would have to take drastic measures, like possibly selling out his Rebellion friends (like Grayson!!). He could likely cut a deal with some higher ups--give up useful information about the Rebellion in exchange for trinket Everly.
SO he would definitely keep her safe and treat her with so much love and care and patience. But the trade off is that Everly would never forgive him for what he did to save her :(
