History
Born into a wealthy household, Saigo was raised and trained by his father, Hideyoshi, who is Daimyo for a village alongside a forest/ mountain range. A mercantile town, pretty affluent and a middle between trade routes from the sea ports and further inland.
His father trained him on all accounts. Reading, writing, and handling a blade, Saigo learned from him. Due to his father’s previous experiences with combat, Saigo was a quick learner when it came to the ways of bushido. To help understand the trade routes, on his 17th and 18th year, he was privileged to sail across the ocean in his father’s stead to China and Korea. In doing so he was able to see how the products were distributed as well as properly reading and understanding manuscripts within that category. He also experienced the different trade routes within Japan as well and he met with other traders his father did business with. Saigo knew nothing about sailing or navigation and he was usually escorted, but he enjoyed the trips and he got to at least experience the culture of it all.
As he grew older, Saigo began to notice a change in his father’s behavior. A melancholy
On the eve of his nineteenth birthday, Saigo approached his father and has a long heart to heart with him. It ends with a hug and a promise to always be there for one another.
However this was only enough to appease the growing depression in Hideyoshi’s heart for a small while. As Saigo assumed some of the duties his father was originally in charge of, a growing rift between father and son was beginning to form.
One night Hideyoshi is tempted by Muzan.
He’s more or less given the chance to be “useful” but he has to forfeit most of his control of trade
Muzan wanted to spread influence and reach out further to discover the blue spider lily perhaps in another continent
The exchange, strength and immunity from mortality for influence, and recourses.
The desire to have a purpose was overwhelming and Hideyoshi gave in, and accepted Muzan’s offer.
Upon his return, Saigo almost immediately knew something was wrong. His father was lively yes, but he seemed bigger almost. Stronger in stature and the smell of iron (blood) was palpable on his person. Not to mention the limp from an injury so long ago was almost nonexistent as he watched his father walk.
Saigo’s suspicions only grew as his father seemed incredibly active during the night just as he was during the day.
He approached his father and asked if he was alright and the response was a full teethed smile and a rather aggressive squeeze on his shoulder.
It did not take long for Saigo to notice that certain servants had disappeared from their household and upon further investigation, he found a very shaken maid, Hanako Nakamura, who supposedly witnessed his father devouring one of her acquaintances.
Without any thought he tells Hanako to leave the manor at once, take all her belongings, and don’t look back.
He is awoken later that night by an audible thud and the sound of something being dragged across the floor. So he carefully slides open the door to see his father dragging a lifeless body into his study. With his heart raging in his ears, he makes his way to his father’s chamber and through the cracked door he watches in horror as his father rip the flesh from what seems to be a homeless man.
This single interaction scared Saigo so much, that he did not sleep the rest of the night, the sounds of tearing flesh and cracking bones echoing in his ears.
The next day, Saigo flees from his home
He packs up his horse, and all he brings is his sword, food rations, and a small bag of money to start off.
He travels a while, searching for a group known as the Demon Slayers. Throughout his journey he comes to the conclusion that he must be the one to kill his father not a random slayer.
Thus begins his journey of developing his own breathing style, joining the Demon Slayer Co., killing his father, and becoming the Fang Hashira.

I wanna give the clones plus your OCS a thousand roses
Aizetsu gets 5x the amount plus a hug
He seems slightly uncomfortable by the thought that he gets more 'roses' than anyone. That thought is enough to irritate him a bit, as his expression shifts to a look of discomfort and irritation. — "Me? More roses than the others?… No, no, no.. I cannot be 'cute'.. I'm literally the manifestation of Sorrow. how am I supposed to be cute with a face like this…?"
Karaku smiles as he takes the flower and puts it behind his ear, he then continues to carry Ishimaki, looking after her and making sure to walk at a good pace as he heads towards the hot springs.
Urogi smiles fondly as he takes the rose, his eyes glistened as he looks at it. — "Oh… Why thank you my little friend! This Rose is quite lovely and I cannot wait to keep it in a special place. It's such a sweet gesture and I can tell you're quite the kind and caring person."
Sekido scoffs and snatches it from your hand. While still maintaining a very angry expression, he then throws it away. — "What the hell am I supposed to do with this!?" His eyes flare with anger as the buzzing sound from his khakkhara gets more louder and faster.
Zohakuten's eyes flashed with a sense of surprise as he received the offered rose. He looked up at the other with uncertainty. — "W-why do you give me this flower… I am no hero… nor worthy of such kindness…"
Mahiro accepted the rose, His expression softened a little. He was still trying to put on an act in which his mind was all about getting rid of the others.. Including the clones of Hantengu and the Hashiras.. But as he was handed with the Rose.. His expression soften even more.
Bukiyoshi stares at the rose confused as he was covered in dust and was quite disheveled. "Hmm?"
Surprise hit his face as Yojinto stopped in his tracks.. His wide grin was now a blank stare, he never expected this from any of his victims before. He's never been greeted with kindness like this before.. "This is.. This is new for me.."
Ishimaki stares at the rose that was given to her with wide eyes and a huge smile on her face. The small child's face had that look of awe and gratitude as her tears immediately dried up. She reached out and grabbed the rose gently, holding it close to her chest. "Ooohh~!! Mmhh!! Mmmh!! Thank you so much!"
Shimitsu received the rose from the human being. He held it. His eyes brightened up for it.. He felt joy for the first time in the millennia of his life! He was not that joyful or emotional. So this gesture of yours really hit his feeling to the core. "Oh my, thank you human! What is your name..?"
Uranishi takes the pink rose gently. "Ahhh.. This is very beautiful. Thank you very much, dearie."
Mokusiroku was slightly dumbfounded for a small moment. He looked at it in awe. "Is this for me?" He smiled, He grabbed it from you and smelled it. "It smells pleasant." The demon looked at the object. "What's your name stranger?"
OOPS FORGOT TO GIVE ONE TO KANKRU!! Kankriu takes the rose and then puts it in his mouth. As if he was eating the flower. Though strangely, he didn't seem to care about the thorns. Before speaking again. This should be very odd for you.. "Hmm, Thank you! Though now I wonder.. Who are you?"

Moksha: Chapter 1
Gyutaro seeks an outlet. Tetsuya makes Hinata's acquaintance.
Word count: 4.1 k
Make sure to check out the masterlist before starting!
The night air was noxious to him. Gyutaro's nails raked over his collarbone with an absent-minded repetition as he seethed and simmered. It was Daki's fault that he was miserable. He loved his sister to pieces but she'd fucked him over to an unforgivable degree this time; there would be no apology, nor would he expect one.
There was only one way to get rid of this feeling, and he didn't want to be around Daki anyway. So he had slunk off her shoulders and left her complaints behind. Let her deal with things at home herself, if she thought she was so competent. It would have been easier to remain in Yoshiwara and lurk the back streets, but even the most lonely and depraved corner failed to muster any thrill for him lately. He took for the path into town, outside the lights and noise of the entertainment district. And despite the intention to hunt, he found himself too far in the silence, too pissed not to mope and feel sorry for himself, whether he knew what he wanted or not.
He was the one who dealt the killing blow on the Hashira that had infiltrated their cover. He had cut the human down to mincemeat before it could even process that Daki's beheading did nothing. Gyutaro had enacted revenge with vicious speed, and Daki had been so grateful. The blubbering, sobbing girl clung at his ankles like a child as she wailed her failures at him, insisting she had tried her hardest and even her best wasn't enough. As usual, he cooed and petted her hair, reminding her that she could only do so much after all. He would never raise a hand against her because it wasn't her fault that she was so stupid and weak sometimes. He loved her regardless.
The thanks Gyutaro received was to be erased from his own accomplishment. Muzan Kibutsuji himself had arrived in the night; not pleased, he was never the jolly kind, but certainly interested in the siblings whose only saving grace in death was having been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Until their first hashira kill, they had been brats benefiting from the sympathy of a more competent demon. With the number climbing, it was about time that Muzan graced them with a visit. Daki could have woken Gyutaro, let him bask in the bloodcurdling fear and awe that Muzan's venomous stare deigned to offer. She could have even just told their penumbral master the truth.
But she didn't. The reminder of her treachery made Gyutaro's sharp teeth sheath into his lips. She was swept away by her own emotions, eager as a bitch to wag her stupid ass and make herself look good. She said it worked.
"No shit it worked," Gyutaro had snarled at her. She groveled like a whore, so there was no doubt in his mind that their creator's creator only viewed them as such: entertaining. Wasn't she supposed to be classy? Wasn't she one of the most talented girls in this stupid, vapid district?
She cried. She called him a hypocrite. He called her weak. She called him ugly. Among various other things. The argument had gotten out of hand.
Hence, Gyutaro had to remove himself from the premises lest he lose his nerve and fuck up everything, like Daki might have in his position. He had to be better than her, as the older brother. She couldn't help being unintelligent, easy, trusting, and of so low self-value that she had to lie and cheat for any substitute for respect. All she had was her beauty, and though that alone unlocked potential in this line of work, it wasn't enough for her. She was squandering a learning opportunity by getting high and mighty, as though she were any better than him. As though she would be any stronger than a feeble human without him.
He hated this. He hated feeling like a brute towards her, hated feeling pathetic, but hated even more that she made him feel brute-ish and pathetic. Probably because she was so unhappy, being as stupid as she was... she just couldn't help lashing out sometimes.
"It's not fair!"
Gyutaro stood statuesque, his inhuman frame throwing enough shadow to blend in perfectly to the nightly wilderness, his ear pricked at the far-off yet raised voice. A second person was trying to shush them. 'Too late,' Gyutaro sneered. 'I've heard you.'
He moved quicker than the dark breeze itself. The targets had been downwind, but after narrowing down their direction, he could smell two thundering hearts and the reek of fear. The idea that not one but two humans could have simply walked past his range irritated him. It wasn't bad enough to have his due sample of blood given to someone else-- he was rusty. His nails ripped the skin from the side of his throat. Scratch, scratch scratch.
Even from within the dense trees on a cloudy night, he could still see them clearly. A man and a woman, standing in the middle of the path. So stupid. They were making a scene out in the open, at night, no less! Hadn't they ever traveled before? Had they never heeded the bedtime stories of demons pouring out from the mountains and forests at night to feast on the weak?
"Let's just go," the woman kneeling on the ground beseeched. To say she was kneeling wasn't quite accurate, and it took Gyutaro a moment to realize the garments draped over her shoulders were sizes too big. She was tiny-- not like a child, but like someone who was shrinking away into nothing, an optical illusion whirling around the drain.
The man was glaring at the ground with tears clenched as hard as his jaw. Opposite to her, he stood tall and broad, facing Gyutaro's direction as though to block this path from the district. His fists sank by his sides and trembled. Both of them were angry, but the man's body temperature spiked with a particular, familiar tang. "You mean run away?"
The shrinking woman shrank more. Now she was kneeling. "Why not?" she cried softly, and Gyutaro also realized the wheezing was her typical volume. The holler from earlier must have been a result of all the rage she could muster. "You don't deserve this. I don't deserve this!" With every retort, she deflated, as if losing her power. And she was. Gyutaro could smell their sweat, breaths, organs, and saliva. The girl was poisoned-- maybe she would survive it, but maybe not, though for unrelated circumstances. A current thrilled Gyutaro's nerves alive, and he shot a grin to the blood and marrow solidifying into scythes. 'Poison,' he thought, flexing his fingers over the kama handles, 'would be something Daki hadn't considered.'
He imagined briefly the next time Daki tried to take credit for his kill. How all Gyutaro would have to do is ask the dose she used for that Hashira corpse there and smile as she floundered. Then he would pat her head like the knowing, forgiving brother he was. She couldn't lie her way out of that one.
"That's how you would repay them," the man sounded hollow. "When they took us in, they gave us what little they had. And you refuse to do even this, for us, to help earn money."
"No, that's not what this is," she argued and the sharp breath she drew rattled. "He's hurt you too... if I'm here, you still have to go back to them. She won't stop him from--"
"If you're here," he interrupted, changing tactics abruptly, "then you can make money. And maybe... maybe someone good will find you. And buy your contract."
The familiar taste of his panic struck home, and Gyutaro was aloft with pleasure. It was guilt, the kind that any decent swordsman would feel upon stumbling across Gyutaro midmeal. The helplessness of knowing someone's life lay on the line and you couldn't do shit about it.
"I don't want--"
"And they'll take care of you!" the man urged, talking over her now. His palms were sweating. "You're such a beautiful woman--"
"Brother--" her pallid lower lip protruded as he continued, as if he hadn't heard her.
"You have a kind heart, Ayame. I know the girls will take care of you," his voice hitched and his mouth trembled. "And you'll get better. Someone will--"
Gyutaro had taken advantage of the spat to move in a wobbly pattern, mimicking wind through leaves and shivering branches. It would have been more efficient to circle behind the man, cutting off their escape and slicing them both into pieces. His need for relief had outweighed his sense-- he surged forward and sank both his blades into his victim's torso.
Killing had become something of an art to him. Daki had her own hobbies-- theater, dancing, music-making, tea-steeping-- girly things. It had a place in her work. His interests were more refined and necessary in the real world, where humans were just meat.
He lifted the body above with ease, pushing her out to her companion in open display. He allowed the briefest pause: enough for their eyes to widen and their mouths to drop open in horror. And before the high note of her ghostly yelp, Gyutaro ripped her apart, her two halves divorcing messily, her insides splattering across the path. The scream wafted out unsung through shredded lung matter.
Most would have still been standing there in shock over what happened. The man had run to the side of the road and hauled up a fallen bough-- a sword? No, couldn't be-- as a makeshift defense. Gyutaro didn't hesitate: despite the intrusive worrying, he knew that Corps warriors weren't so sluggish. The bough shattered on Gyutaro's shoulder, which tickled, and the demon barreled the human down, pinning him to the ground with a kama through each shoulder.
"Hey now," Gyutaro 'cheerily' spoke, and when the human wouldn't stop hollering, he simply put his hand over the man's mouth. Bite as a desperate animal may, Gyutaro's skin was like leather and wouldn't break under such round human teeth. "What's going on here?"
The noisy response was muffled and incoherent, and Gyutaro rolled his eyes. "Oh," he commiserated, "yeah. About that. I know I should mind my own business. But, really, what would a silly girl like her know? Then again," he feigned confliction with a furrow of his brow, "Maybe she had a point... you were kind of throwing her to the wolves, huh? Leaving her all alone, as if that was the right thing to do."
The man howled into the offending palm again, bucking and thrashing and kicking Gyutaro in the legs. Annoyed, the hunter reached back with his free hand. With each snap of the bone and crush of muscle, the prey screamed and seized in agony.
Gyutaro continued chatting. "Siblings are always supposed to look out for each other. You should know better, being oldest and all. And imagine: the last words she heard from you were your shitty excuses to shrug her off."
Somewhere in his animal brain, the man seemed to comprehend. Or maybe he was crying from the pain of having broken legs now. At this point, Gyutaro didn't care. He appreciated how invigorated his audience was regardless. "Maybe you really didn't care. She wasn't your real sister anyway... what? You didn't know?!" Gyutaro's face split from ear to ear as the brother's eyes glazed over. "Hahah! Idiot! What kind of guy doesn't even know who his family is? No wonder you were so bad at taking care of her. You just didn't have it in you. I guess you have potential, though. I could give you pointers. Oh, we would have to find you a new sister though. You don't have an issue with replacing family members, clearly, so..."
Gyutaro stopped when he realized that he was talking to himself. The man's heart had jerked and stammered and stopped. Gyutaro sneered and grabbed the man's face more forcibly. "Hey," he drawled, rotten loathing dripping from his maw. "Hey, I was TALKING to you."
No reply. Gyutaro leaned forward and crushed the man's head in. It gave like a thumb through an egg shell.
It brought him no relief. Suddenly, Gyutaro didn't have an appetite.

Hashimoto Tetsuya waited in the restaurant with a wisteria emblem displayed in its window, keeping an eye out for any fellow uniformed individuals. His first mistake: the subject was not uniformed. This annoyed Tetsuya, as any decent Demon Corps member would have donned their uniform with discreet pride... unless they were undercover. "Trust what your eyes tell you," his teacher's advice resurfaced to his mind. "You have to make these decisions swiftly, and there's not a single moment to be wasted in double guessing."
What Tetsuya's eyes told him: the stranger's face was pretty, like an eroded statue pulled from the bottom of a pond, tinted pale and weary. Coarse hair (that must have been black at one point but was silvering early) framed their face, the back tied away from their neck in a tight knot. Their monochromatic kimono hung loosely off them, giving the illusion of waifishness, yet Tetsuya could tell this was not the case by the way their taut shoulders tilted, light but dense as they shifted in the seat. Yasumoto Hinata could be a woman. Tetsuya expected a leering hulk of a swordsman. Something distorted and uncanny, sure, but... scarier, for all he had heard of them.
"You must be Hashimoto Tetsuya." The sheer depths of their voice, gentle but heavy, made Tetsuya reconsider his conclusions. When they smiled, sharp teeth flashed, and Tetsuya's revulsion kicked in: an instinctive tremor insisted he touch the sword pommel hidden between himself and the wall, considering his next possible moves. "Must be. I'm Yasumoto. Call me Hinata," and this introduction spared him some clarity. Only some, though.
He wasn't quite certain of what he was looking at. Contextually, it made no sense for a demon to plop itself right in front of a Slayer and engage in small talk. Yasumoto's right hand fingers tap-danced toward the window, hesitatingly flexed in the obvious ray of Tetsuya's stare, then plucked the paper emblem away from the glass, the flimsy rolled up and squirrelled into their left sleeve. "I've heard this is your first time as a scout," they half-drawled, giving him another lazy cat smile with those long incisors. "Let's hope neither of us regret this."
"You're my chaperone," Tetsuya stated.
"Correct." Tetsuya looked Yasumoto over again. The amusement in their eyes lessened at that. "Well, don't get too excited," they said with a pout-- and Tetsuya already felt himself losing track of whether Yasumoto's feelings were truly hurt, in which case they were a hypocrite, or if they were simply putting on an act, in which case, they were a jerk. There were no tells of a lie, no darting eyes or antsy hands, but they felt... insubstantial. Shallow.
He was still unconvinced that they weren't possessed.
"I'm sorry. I was looking for the uniform." Before Tetsuya could ask how Hinata recognized him on sight, they waved their hand dismissively.
"Too many meetings in the same place with the same outfit draws attention. Even a single whisper from a civilian can be mined for information." And that same right hand (the sibling yet to show itself) dipped into their clothes again, unfurling another sheet of paper and slipping it towards Tetsuya. It had been previously folded so tightly that he took delicate care with its fabric-soft texture as he read it. "This is our target, the groom-to-be," Yasumoto said. "Memorize it. Our main objective is to ensure his immediate removal from Yoshiwara. Our second objective... well, it's dependent on other things. Let's not get our hopes up. How good are you with that sword?" Suddenly tilting their head, as if to peek under the table where he thought he had obscured it rather well. "Looks heavy. You must be wonderful defense." Tetsuya couldn't help shifting his limbs, as though physically shrugging their attention off his weapon.
Nobutoshi had a tendency to frontload lessons so the student easily multi-tasked both conversation and study. "I'm better with it than with a katana," Tetsuya admitted, ignoring Yasumoto's friendly nodding. "The katana is better for beheadment but I have excellent control and power with this too." That, and the broad cleaver-like design of his sword gave him a better handle on Mist Breathing, but he wouldn't share this weakness.
"Exquisite." This time the sincerity seemed too much like forced enthusiasm. Tetsuya had to reassess his impression when his company perked. "You don't want to work with me. It's alright," they said this before Tetsuya could grimace at his own impoliteness, "I don't like working with others much either. But I brought something for you. Call it a gift!" And, by way of making things all the more uncomfortable, "I've fought alongside your Hashira, you know. I have these trinkets I made for Nobu--" the pet name made Testuya's head spin "--but he must think it's a bribe. Letting them collect dust is such a waste so I hope you'll humor me. It would be thanks enough just to see it in action, and I think we would both feel better for its presence."
Tetsuya's mental image of Hinata was crumbling. What kind of person desecrated corpses on the field and packed gifts for new teammates? Was this person the same one who, Nobutoshi warned, saw humans more like obstacles and circumstances than victims? Were those rumors beyond the pale? He couldn't tell-- even a menace was capable of sitting and holding polite conversation. Tetsuya, when confronted with indecision, had only his teacher's advice to fall back on.
"Yasumoto won't let harm come to you. However, it's vital you don't let them within your guard." By which he meant Tetsuya's comfort zone, surely. 'No worries there,' Tetsuya mused, glancing between the dossier and the kinoe, buying time for his response. "Exercise your independence. Do not tell them to protect you. You may accept their help, but not issue a command." Also a given: insubordination was no joking matter, and Tetsuya knew his tsuguko privilege only granted so much authority. "Don't rely on their ability to track you as a means of safety. Their way of exploring the world may help you to understand yourself better. You are every bit as strong as them, but their self-centeredness cannot infect you."
Infect. That was the precise word the Mist Hashira used. Something about Yasumoto was a hazard to Tetsuya's health, but Nobutoshi had no more concrete explanation further than "If I could send you with anyone else, I would. I'm afraid this is the best I can offer you, child. Learn what you can from Yasumoto, but do not mistake this transaction for companionship. We will reconvene once I handle other matters."
"He didn't say anything about gifts," Tetsuya answered carefully, and this seemed to be the right answer. Yasumoto dipped their hand into their kimono, withdrawing a glass vial and shaking lavender-hued water inside. "A wisteria-based aerosol works wonderfully with Mist Breathing forms," they tempted, holding it out for Tetsuya to take. "I'll bet this makes you untouchable." Their nails were sharp, but not claws... this was not reassurance anyway.
Yasumoto's brow twitched when Tetsuya only stared at the object; they rolled the thing across the table, its jewel-case throwing light as it warbled to a stop. "Any lesser demon will be reduced to a puddle. Even stronger demons feel some effect; they have to consistently heal from it, which can be a distraction."
Tetsuya examined the shock-resistant nozzle, noting the vague floral waft that shifting the fumigator emitted. He rubbed his fingers together and sniffed, then glanced to Yasumoto's unmelted fingertips. "You made this?"
Their smiling complexion went from 'corpse-like' to 'sick with the worst flu,' so... an improvement? "It was easy. I'll show you how to make them too! In a pinch, it'll be like throwing sand in a demon's eyes and lungs. Only better." And then, with a gesture of their hand, "Let's order something. We won't stop to rest until Yoshiwara, and I don't know about you but I could eat a grown man."
Tetsuya wasn't hungry after that comment, but his stomach was empty. There was no resisting it. Mealtime gave Tetsuya the opportunity to watch for himself as Yasumoto ordered daikon and onigiri. They carefully wrapped the triangular treats in paper and tucked them into the apparently-roomy kimono, then popped the small chunks of pickled radish between their teeth. The morsels disappeared, sure enough. Demons had no appetite for anything that wasn't human meat. Tetsuya could only relax after that.
For all that brandishing of their hunger, they ate only the radishes. Tetsuya helped himself to a dish of cold noodles so that he wouldn't be expected to talk more. Frankly, he had a lot to think over. How much of this interaction was real, and how much of it was a farce? It wasn't a debate easily settled by dinner either. As Tetsuya ate, Yasumoto tore the dossier into tinier fragments, occasionally studying a torn segment before pressing it to their tongue to dissolve pieces of the man's life. Eating the evidence with the decadence of eating a pomegranate.
In an effort to look anywhere but at the not-demon's morbid display, Tetsuya let his eyes wander to the light overhead. He knew Hinata and Nobutoshi 'worked' together at some point-- but Nobutoshi didn't seem to like them much, and Tetsuya was hard pressed to remember a time when he had heard anything positive about this person. All that came to mind were the rumors: the swords scavenged, the bodies undressed for their clothes, the trinkets they made to capture live demons: the tones of righteous disgust at someone so willing to debase their self and their fellow warriors.
Insects had steadily streamed indoors, drawn by the warm glow of artificial sunlight. A dusty brown moth fluttered low, darted up, then dove back down.
Tetsuya jumped when a pair of chopsticks snatched the poor thing from the air, snapping him from his trance. The swift capture left it surprisingly unsquashed-- its legs kicked against the utensils as Yasumoto brought the creature down to eye level. Their silver eyes flickered Tetsuya's way before they parted their jaws and drew the insect closer to their face.
Tetsuya balked first. "Gross!"
And Yasumoto laughed an artificial laugh. A spoken "Ha ha ha!" interrupted by a sharp cough as they released the poor thing and let it flutter for safety. "Just kidding. Don't look so haunted! But you know, insects are great protein. Remember that, in case you end up having to make difficult decisions."
"Not when there's perfectly edible food here, thanks," was Tetsuya's reply, nose scrunched and tone indignant. But by the end of their meal, Tetsuya felt his suspicions slacken. Hinata was unusual for sure, but it wasn't as though they were threatening. Just unnerving.
Not that Tetsuya had been comforted. A man, leering and staggering drunk on sake, walked right into Tetsuya's path outside. This may have tumbled any normal teenager; Everyone made the mistake of treating him like a mere child, making a judgment call based purely on what they saw. The man simply bounced off and pawed clumsily at Tetsuya, already pushing his way past. "Watch it," he grumbled, as if Tetsuya should have been paying closer attention.
Tetsuya was going to let this pass. It had been an inconvenient frustration, and that was all. He felt Hinata move, a wave parting around him and sparing him the crash, and gasped in surprise as Yasumoto proceeded to follow the man, purposefully striding upon his ankles. The tipsy stranger stumbled and looked back, reeling, eyes aimed for his assailant's breast as though expecting this excessive rudeness from Tetsuya. His eyes flicked upward to their face.
In another world where there were no witnesses, Tetsuya could see Yasumoto running the man underfoot as if he were garbage on the street. Yasumoto braked to a halt when the man also stopped, but the man must have seen awfulness in the other's face, backing away, paling, opening his mouth, and juttered away woozily as though their mere proximity branded him.
The kinoe turned. Their face beheld nothing. No malice, no shame, no uncertainty. Just the fatigue of their stress-faded visage and a razor-toothed smile. "Let's go," they suggested, leading the way.
The drunk stared at the two from afar, still hustling away. Tetsuya only had time to frown apologetically. His heart hammered as he followed the other Slayer, remembering his teacher's final warning: to learn, but not to be corrupted. Tetsuya vowed: never would he be so callous or improper, no matter the circumstances.

Good evening everyone.
I'm here to announce that I'll be taking a break from tumblr for 3 days to recover from this ordeal we all had.
I've been feeling a bit suicidal over what has been happening and how it affected all of you because of one person who has now been banned. I'm sorry to those who have been a victim of oc x canon hate. Mostly from this Sakura person.
I wanted to thank you to those who have been siding with me and standing up to others who where also targeted by this person.
I'm glad that I made friends with many of you and knowing that we protect each other from something like this made me feel welcome on tumblr.

Sorry about that.]
And thank you @sunbrokenswords and @bloodbladesanddemons for following me. You two are my favorites. And I am sorry about what that anon had said to you Blood. Don't listen to them. Do what makes you and your friends happy.
And as promise, here is the Karaku x Uranishi art before my 3 days departure. Them as humans. :>

hello hallo hola olá privet and salut!
Just to let you know, I'm not one to publish many things! I am in 3 fandoms, genshin, alien stage and kny. (I made original-original oc's too!)
I show things when I have time and desire. Or when I remember I have this!
I hope this doesn't bother you, if so I'm sorry.
I will show later about Yatagarasu, oh and it will be my first ocxcanon, which will be with Genya! He's one of my favorite characters and I said why not do it? everyone does it, although I'm a little embarrassed since I usually do ocxoc with my friends, again I hope that doesn't bother you!

Say hi to Yumi Katagiri!
Yumi is my newest KNY OC! She is a 19 y/o girl, she is 4'11"¾ feet tall and uhh had two little siblings. Anyways, she is a shy and calm girl, a very loving and playful friend
Yumi was born with a condition that made her lungs smaller than the average, being weaker to cold climates and exercise, being something that had made her life more challenging with the addition of her partial blindness. Her partial blindness was not a problem during the day, but during the night it was a whole other thing, making it impossible to walk around without a source of light
Yumi's parents were killed by demons when she was 14, having to be both a mother and an exemplary older sister to her little siblings. She decided to become a demon slayer to be able to protect those who she love
Yumi was a student of the Water Breathing, yet her conditions made it all more challenging, feeling weak and useless during the training. With time she was able to develop a new skill, echolocation. She started to train way more at night to improve her skills and abilities
Yumi also was able to create her own Breathing, combining both the Water Breathing moves and the dances she have been teached ever since she was a little kid. Calling her invention Harmony Breathing, a combat style that is composed by delicate and elegant moves, her echolocation allowing her to identify the enemy's placement and movements, using each part of her body at the 100% with her flexibility and experience
Tumblr media
I'm gonna be drawing more of her bc I am obsessed over the "show don't tell" LMAO 😭
Most of those will be silly little sketches of her daily life, thoughs and backstory ofc!! Ty for reading ^_^

Training and the fits!! When he did officially join the Demon Slayer corp, Saigo absolutely hated the uniform. He felt like it restricted his movements, especially in the chest. To help, he adapted Sanemi's shirt style.
When he received his new outfit, which is his current one, Saigo was alright with it. The only issue being the massive kanji on the back that all the slayer have. He doesn't like it, and considers it a hindrance. So, he forced the tailor to finish the top half of his hakama so he could cover his back up.

I have no artistic abilities, would someone be willing to draw my OC just so I can see what she looks like? A rough draft idea. It doesn't have to be good.
