Jenny Wakeman Rogues Gallery
Originally written by Cartoonsforever, with alterations by Jcogginsa
The teenage robot heroine Jenny Wakeman has made many enemies over her crimefighting career with this being only a handful of them
Queen vexus: Jenny’s archenemy, the queen of the cluster, an intergalactic empire composed of sentient machines with an intense disdain for organic life. She first became an enemy of Jenny after a failed attempt to get the teenage robot to join the cluster causing her to instead endeavor to stop her from conquering earth. Vexus is a cunning manipulator and a vicious fighter who will stop at nothing until Jenny’s either submitted to the cluster or destroyed although she has one weak point, her genuine love for her family which may serve as the impetus for her downfall…….
Vincent Anderson: the cybernetically enhanced ceo of Anderson robotics, one of the premier paratech companies in the anomalous world and the former employer of Jenny’s mother Nora wakeman. He tried to exploit this fact during a period of friction in the twos relationship to try and convince Jenny that he’d be a better parent for her unaware that he truly saw her as a product to make money off of. Once the wakemans made up and Anderson’s true nature was revealed he made a last ditch effort to steal her technology, becoming one of Jenny’s greatest enemies as a result.
The king of worms: undoubtedly the most powerful member of Jenny’s rogues gallery, the king of worms is an elder god with control over technology with Jenny only being able to resist thanks to shear force of will. As a result, the king of worms plans are usually more psychological in nature as he tries to break the robot’s spirit to allow him to control her. The only saving grace about the king is that his physical body is currently trapped in another dimension known as the court of worms, forcing him to use ‘clockwork soldiers’ in his stead.
eelee: creator of the anomalous blog site just girly things which Jenny tries to consult to help her become more feminine only for it to turn out that jgt has a very strict definition of the term feminine. Keelee is a control freak at her core, believing in a very narrow and downright bigoted definition of girly and, as a latent esper, the power to force her beliefs on others. Jenny can resist her powers though as she’s a machine and the teenage robot is willing to use this advantage to bring Keelee down once and for all.
The exo skin/raggedy android: an advanced skin suit created by Nora to help Jenny blend in better with society so she doesn’t get the attention of organizations like the Scp foundation and equipped with a rudimentary ai to ensure jenny doesn’t bring any attention to herself. Jenny hates the exo suit as she is fine with who she is no matter how much it tries to convince her otherwise ending in her deciding to tear it to pieces unaware that the ai was not going down that easily. The exo skin managed to stitch itself back together in a patchwork fashion and now with the moniker of raggedy android seeks to become one with Jenny again.
Killgore: once one of many toys created by the anomalous toymaker dr wondertainment, killgore desired more than merely playing the role of villain instead wanting to BE one…… too bad he is completely non threatening. Killgore seeks jenny out as a potential nemesis, seeing the two of them as potential rivals due to both being machines that gained sentience but Jenny’s more annoyed by killgore rather than intimidated. He is not one to be underestimated though, for what he lacks for in menace he makes up for in cunning being capable of making truly diabolical schemes…….. if he could just keep his mouth shut.
Ned ludd: a hermit living in the woods around tremorton with a hatred for all machines including Jenny. He may be a normal human but he has acquired numerous survival skills aided by a emp producing meteor he has access to and has made weapons out of, making him more then a match for the mechanical heroine. His main desire is to simply be left alone in the woods, away from all sorts of machinery but if something even remotely threatens that he’s more than willing to fight back.
Armagedroid: a sort of brother to Jenny as a creation of Nora’s during her time working for Anderson robotics, armagedroid was created to be the ultimate weapon in Anderson robotics arsenal before Nora sabotaged its initial presentation and got it shut down as a result of her own guilt in creating it. Armagedroid would later be reactivated by Vincent Anderson himself to try and defeat the teenage robot at her own game only for him to have more of an interest in destroying the woman that shut him down in the first place: Nora wakeman. Jenny and armagedroid have a bit of a twisted sibling relationship with neither wishing to truly hurt the other but being forced to fight thanks to their conflicting goals

Slightly off the usual topic, but how realistic is the idea of an army going into battle with someone playing some sort of music on whatever very loud instrument the technology allows? This is partly prompted by the battle scene in the new Dune movie, where I'm pretty sure the bagpipe music over the big battle is meant to be something the characters can hear, as it's the same music the piper is shown playing in an earlier scene, but as a folk music nerd I was already intrigued by the idea
There's a lot of history there, and it's an area that I'm not an expert on. The very short version would be that: Yes, music has had a very important role on the battlefield.
It gets a little more complicated when you move beyond that, because music did a lot of things in various contexts. Instruments were used to help maintain cadence, help maintain morale, and to quickly communicate orders. This included the bagpipes, which were famously used to boost troop morale in battle, as recently as the first World War. (Various) drums and horns are the other examples frequently given, and I'm not sure how many other instruments saw battlefield use like this.
Playing recorded music into battle has some history as well, though the major example is fictional. In Apocalypses Now, Lt Colonel Killgore's Air Cavalry blasts Ride of the Valkyries while leading an assault on a fishing village. While the example is fictional, there's actual history with using music recordings to demoralize enemies. There were unconfirmed reports of American tank crews emulating Apocalypses Now's use of Wagner in Iraq. (I'm slightly hesitant to include this, because I can't confirm it, but it's also entirely plausible.) There are dozens of instances where loud music has been used to harass or distract hostile combatants. This tends to be more about use outside of combat. The Korean DMZ has been the site of multiple musical assaults like this (granted, with K-pop as the preferred vector.) Also, this seems to be an extremely recent development, (at a guess, within the last 30 years) which shouldn't be much of a surprise, given how, until recently, sound equipment that would be loud enough to be heard over combat would have required dedicated vehicles. I'm not aware of any non-fictional examples of those, outside of, maybe, some propaganda trucks.
There's adjacent issue you may want to research a bit further on your own time, and it might dovetail into this. There's a lot of scholarly lit on the use of music as propaganda during the world wars. The use of music as a wartime propaganda vector was not new, but it might be a good jumping off point into the further use of music as a morale booster.

I made a joke to my pals on another blog about Killgore from MLAATR and Kilgore from Killer Instinct being the same character, but then I had a better idea. Killgore and Kilgore being buddies, and whoever comes across them has to figure out which 'Gore is which. (Also tiny Killgore riding on top of big Kilgore's head sounds adorable.)

I've only rly watched someone play Bayo 1 & 2 but this blog has kinda ignited my love for Bayo and has made me to decide to buy them and play them for myself. Any recommendations to a new player?
Ohhh, that sounds very sweet!
Well, for the first game I say - just don’t rush in fights. Timing isn’t that hard on you and I say - enjoy the combos and the flow of combat.
The first game is little bit tought at some parts, but that’s the charm of it. Items give you a penalty at the end of chapter, so be carefull how you use them/if you use them at all. I suggest to make your weapons like this for a start = One set - Default weapon (Scarborough Fair) and learn it’s combos, Second set = whatever set you feel like comfortable with, but I prefer for the first play (shuraba/something powerful on legs (durga/killgore)).
If you find hidden verses(portals/alfheims), but have trouble doing them or you feel like you can’t - don’t worry, you can easily came back to them when you will be replaying it.
And as I simply put it, just have fun! Like, despite games difficulty, I believe you will be entertained enough, specifically, if you had played any other slasher game before. (dmc perhaps?)
And if you will not have troubles with the first game, then second will be easy for you. The game isn’t that hard on items (at all actually), you don’t need to work that hard on combos, portals aren’t that hidden and overall it’s feels more close a nintendo games. Still a PlatinumGames title, but a bit nintendo-ish.
Bayonetta 2 basically a bit more toned dowen version of the first game, with some imporvements at some places and some bad stuff at others. Still worth playing id say, at least for comparision.
