I know a lot of “The Flash” fandom seems to be against paring up Frost and Mark but I still really like it. I’ve already been a fan of Jon’s for awhile, especially his Hallmark movies, so we did get to see a little bit of that romantic side he plays in those movies. Plus, it’s obvious they’re going for a Johnny Lawrence style story (I agree it is rushed), aka the guy who is in my icon from the “Karate Kid” movies and “Cobra Kai”. They are doing a redemption arc and if this is legit, which I think it is, they probably are going to keep him on as Frost’s love interest. So yes, I still ship it and he does remind me of Johnny so as long as they don’t backtrack on the redemption it’s fine by me. Now if Caitlin can finally find someone again too.

Seem to be one of the few but I really like “The Flash” pairing up with Frost with Mark/Chillblaine. :) I know it’s because I already like Jon and they totally are going for a Johnny Lawrence vibe with him but it’s nice seeing Frost experience having a crush on someone and possibly dating someone for the first time.

I was right about Chillblaine/Mark giving me Johnny Lawrence vibes when Jon Cor got cast on “The Flash” and I saw it so much last night!!! LOL :D He’s also reminding me of Spike from “Buffy”, especially that fight scene and the flirting before that with Frost as I was a huge Spuffy shipper. I know he’s recurring too and that tease from the writer about him being a love interest for Frost and will be interesting to see where this goes. I never thought Johnny would get redeemed but “Cobra Kai” proved me wrong and he’s one of my favorite characters now after not standing him in the “Karate Kid” movies most of my life. LOL So yeah I’m already shipping this. :)

Jon Cor had a Twitter Q&A last night after “The Flash” aired and confirmed some things that I had been suspecting that he is Frost’s love interest and will recur the rest of the season. He said he actually had a chemistry read with Danielle during the casting process and that he’ll be back on the show very soon (I’m guessing the next episode). I really liked them together and they reminded me a lot of Spuffy (my first main ship I wrote fanfic for) so I’m excited to see where this goes and realizing I’ve seen Jon in many other things before.
