The Ex-Wives Club Trailer Reaction!
The trailer for the second season of RHUGT is finally here and I’m excited for the Ex-Wives Club!
And it looks like it’s going to be good!
From the famous quotes in the opening of the trailer, these are women who are known for not being afraid of action and drama.
Well, Taylor Armstrong and Jill Zarin are a little odd in this crazy bunch though. They’re hardly present in the trailer.
Someone who’s setting the tone in the trailer though is Dorinda Medley. God, I’ve missed Dorinda!
She had so many good lines in this trailer. She said about Brandi Glanville: “Face of an angel, mouth of a serpent!”
And in her confessional, she said: “When my bubble burst, I burst back!”
Yes, Dorinda! Bring hell and fire under Vicki Gunvalson’s ignorant ass! I just know that it was directed at Vicki and her ignorant opinions.
Vicki said: “Birds of a feather flock together. I’m not flocking with that bird.”
This is going to be so good!
This is a much fierier cast than the All Stars from the first season.
Kenya Moore, Ramona Singer and Teresa Giudice are known to explode, but all they did was pretty much addressing their careers as reality stars.
This cast has got nothing to lose as they’re no longer on their shows, so they’re bringing the drama!
And there’s already so many good quotes from this trailer alone. Brandi and Phaedra Parks are bringing comic relief too.
“What made you think the lady was a lesbian?” asked Phaedra.
“Her eyebrows,” was Brandi’s reply.
They’re no doubt talking about Denise Richards, because her eyebrows were out of control on RHOBH.
And that scene made me laugh. I’ve missed Phaedra.
I know that it’s controversial to still love Phaedra after how dirty she did Kandi Burruss.
It sounds like she’s going to address that situation this season too.
She was emotional and said something about “we’re fighting about something I did”.
But this is promising and I’m excited! The Ex-Wives Club premieres on June the 23rd and I’m going to be glued to the screen!

Sept 10-17, 2023
I had planned to write this blog on Substack but it got too complicated for me so I will continue these African Adventure posts on Tumblr.com.
This will be the journey to Kenya to participate in the volunteer program of African Impact in the Pardamat conservancy of the Kenya National Wildlife Reserve, Masai Mara.
What a long journey from Hawaii to Kenya. Fortunately I have a very good friend, Maggie, in Pacific who I get to visit when I am passing through San Francisco. I stayed two nights in her delightful company and rested up before the long flight to Kenya.
I arrived several days several days after I was exposed to Covid at work. I wore a mask on the flight but where 5 days had passed we thought we were safe, which proved to be true, but I was not fully comfortable till the 14th day had passed. I never got it. Hooray! Those around me could breathe a sigh of relief as well. I am vaccinated up to the gills so maybe that saved me?
Anyway, I digress. i flew KLM. airways which is marvelous. Great service. Seems they were always offering food or drink or hot towels. I watched 4 movies on the first leg which ended in Amsterdam for a three hour layover.
Because I get wheelchair service, I did not find my friend Joanne who was also traveling on the same flight to our destination in Kenya till we were ready to board the next flight for the final leg of our journey.
We got in somewhere around 10:30 PM after an aborted landing because there was debris on the landing strip! Finally after circling and losing our place in the landing line we did so.
Went thru the usual immigration and customs, again not seeing Joanne. I went outside and waited and waited, and was getting worried. A nice young soldier asked what I needed and he called the man who was to-pick us up, who was with Bonfire Adventures and tours. He found us and we waited some more. Finally Joanne appeared and we walked to the car and were driven to Masai Lodge near the town of Rongai. It is on the Southern border of the National Park. The drive took over an hour. The last 3 miles over an horrendous dirt road. We arrived around 1 AM pooped but happy to be back in Kenya.
We love that lodge. It. is mainly for the local people. Despite its name, it is run primarily by Samburu people. the Samburu are cousins to the Maasai. The lodge looks out over the Nairobi Game Park. Animals come into the large green area below the lodge which sits on a hill. There we see warthogs, antelope and baboons. There are tree hyrax and rock hyrax busy in the surrounding areas. The tree hyrax are quite used to people. Cute little creatures resembling a bunny without the long ears.
The 4 nights at the lodge allowed us to get over jet lag and start to get used to the altitude. It is like Denver, a mile high.
I was able to visit my dear friend, Dr. Paul Sayer, my colleague from teaching at the veterinary School in Nairobi back in 1967-1969. It was delightful to be with him and catch up on our lives and reminisce about the old days. (See-my book African Sojourns on Amazon.com to see what we did back then…)
The next day Joanne and I went to visit her friend, Rachel Kabue, who founded and runs The Cat Sanctuary in Nairobi. There are about 170 cats there now as she found homes for close to 130 of the most fit ones recently. Some there are very thin, and I fear may have some sort of blood parasite or Feline leukemia. However most are quite fit; they are all sweet and get along. She also has rescued a few dogs who live together with the cats. It is scrupulously clean with no odor.
Rachel, Some of the cats and dogs, Denise and friend, and Joanne and another rescue.
I spent one day sleeping a lot. Another day we had a guided walk by a Samburu man in full regalia looking very exotic and handsome in his colorful short dress like outfit with knee high socks and beaded ornaments and carrying the spear in case we ran into any aggressive animals. As it happened we only saw Impala and some monkeys and baboons. We met up with two Masai gentlemen in Western clothes who ran a nearby lodge and were friendly and fun. They all wanted photos which Joanne took but I have not got them right now. Will send next time.
The African Impact Driver came for us to transport us to Brackenhurst Conference Center in the Highlands in a town called Limuru. It is at 7000 feet so it has rather brisk evenings. It always tickles me when there, as after dinner, I come back to a bed with a hot water bottle in it. There we rested till the next morning where we would start out at 8:30 AM for the long drive to Pardamat.
I will write more tomorrow about the first week at the volunteer placement.

hiii denise, i hope you’re having a good october so far ♥️♥️♥️
for the ask game: 15, 26, 28, 44 (not sure if i am meant to do this or u so mine is that hippos don’t rly swim they more like walk/run underwater by pushing off the bottom which was very surprising to me)
HI KAITLYN i hope u are too!!! 🎃🖤🧡 we were thinking about doing an escape room we found, maybe u could come do it with us 👀👀👀 if u would be into that
15. favorite movie
"mamma mia!" is my absolute favorite movie of all time
26. my biggest pet peeves
cannot fucking stand people who just casually touch you without permission, like on the shoulder or whatever.
28. a description of the person i dislike the most
i don't think i dislike anyone The Most, but i will describe someone i hate. she graduated from my high school when i was a junior and we were friends. now she is a wannabe christian™️ influencer. she got married right after college to a guy she met in high school (i was actually there when they started officially dating). she recently went on a mission trip to kenya and took lots of white savior pics with children (not wearing a mask!). she's also homophobic...she posted something about sexual impurity and sin on her instagram story, and if you clicked through to the article it was quoting, it listed homosexuality as a sin. i straight up messaged her to ask if she agreed w that and she basically said yes to my face, lmfao. one of her best friends from hs, who is a lesbian, has recently become really close to me as she's grown apart from this person (for obvious reasons). this person is jealous of us being friends, which i find hilarious. i could actually talk about this bitch forever she is so evil
44. a random fact about anything
THANK U FOR TELLING ME THIS ABOUT HIPPOS 💖🦛💖 i'm imagining the baby hippos learning to do that

Honorable Mentions of 2022
Well, sometimes I have a difficulty to limitations, so if I still feel like I need to celebrate some moments from 2022, then that’s just what I’ll do.
As the picture of Marysol Patton would suggest, this is more for fun.
As my list of iconic moments are moments I just couldn’t leave out as the most defining moments for me, this list is more for fun. I don’t if these lists are better than my iconic ones, but these are more fun to do.
1) Drunk Kenya Moore Being the Moment
This was so close to make it to my iconic list for 2022! 2022 was definitely Kenya’s year, where I was able to fully appreciate her as a housewife.
But she was also way more fun than I ever remembered her to be. From her drunken antics at Shereé Whitfield’s coochie cleanse, which nearly made the list also, to her jokes about ballrooms with no ball and the contractor Moore. Kenya was the moment.
2) Jennifer Aydin Falling with her New Nose
The baseball game for charity on RHONJ was such a good episode. There were drama and conflict, and there were funny moments.
I still haven’t grown out of the slapstick humor and seeing Jennifer falling flat with her new nose and all made me cry from laughter.
3) “What made you think the lady was a lesbian?”
RHUGT2 had an amazing and chaotic cast, and they delivered so many entertaining moments.
When Brandi Glanville claimed that a waitress was a lesbian, the women asked how she could tell. And she answered: “her eyebrows”!
Phaedra Parks and Jill Zarin couldn’t stop laughing, and neither could I.
4) “Tell everybody that she died sad!”
From one great moment from RHUGT2 to another. Vicki Gunvalson was a Debby Downer for most of the stay at the Bluestone Manor, but Vicki hasn’t gone this many years as a housewife without reason.
She’s highly entertaining in different ways, but when she told the women that she was miserable in Dorinda Medley’s home, it really took the cake:
“If I died right now, you guess, I want you all to know, you tell everybody that she died sad!”
5) Lisa Barlow Crying Out of the Room
From one miserable housewife to another. When Whitney Rose had told Lisa that the women gossiped about her cheating on her husband, Lisa cried and ran from the room. I feel so bad for finding that comical, but I can’t stop laughing at the scene. It’s so dramatic.
6) “Not today, Satan. Not today, neck. Not today, ankles.”
I know that Candiace Dillard Bassett said this in anger, and she might absolutely mean her words, but I can’t stop laughing about it. Gizelle Bryant made a strange accusation about her husband, and Candiace won’t allow the women to treat him like he’s Michael Darby.
7) “Sources Close to Denise Have Denied This”
What was so great with RHUGT2 was that there were so many stories among these women. And some shocking revelations too.
When they discussed Brandi’s affair with Denise Richards, Tamra Judge admitted that she believed Brandi’s story, because Denise had tried to seduce her too!
It’s so wild and juicy, I want more! Mention it all, Tamra!
But “sources” close to Denise did find the time to deny this, so… Business as usual with Denise, I guess. I believe Brandi and Tamra!
8) Confronting Erika Girardi about the Diamond Earrings
This was not a fun moment, but it was definitely an important moment. And I won’t lie, I was being rather gleeful when Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Kung Minkoff started to question Erika about her infamous diamond earrings.
Erika proclaimed that she doesn’t care about anyone but herself, which activated Kyle Richards to join in on the heated discussion too. It was great.
9) Confronting Erika about Leaking Stories
Another moment that delighted me was when Kyle accused Erika of leaking stories about Kathy Hilton to the press in front of everybody.
Dorit Kemsley whispered in her ear that she never should’ve said anything about it, which was disappointing to see.
The Fox Force Four cover up for each other, but I’m hoping that alliance is dead now. It’s ruining the show.
10) Drunk Bill Aydin at the Jersey Shore!
Last, but not least: Drunk Bill is so funny! And the guys wreck him every time they go to the Jersey Shore.
Season 12 was no exception. He returned home from their boat trip with his shirt on backwards and his hair a total mess.
Bill is lowkey highly entertaining to me. When Teresa Giudice was throwing half of the content of the table at Margaret Josephs, he was sitting in his corner, sipping on his drink with a straw.
That man just makes me laugh and if I’m staying true to myself, then I need to include him on my list.

Help a Black lesbian asylum seeker finish her masters degree! Details about her gofundme
“My name is Teri and I am an LGBT asylum seeker here in the United States. I am seeking support to help pay my tuition at 50% for the coming year.
I am from Kenya where I began my Bachelors degree. I then received a fellowship to study and earned my Masters in 2016 in China. I returned to my country for one year and then I was accepted on an international fellowship again in China, this time for a PhD in Journalism and Communications in 2017. At the end of that year, just as I was about to undertake my dissertation work, I was outed as a lesbian to my program director and removed from the program. If I had been reported and returned to Kenya I would have gone to prison- it is illegal to be gay there. In my life before this occurred I was closeted and when my family found out they disowned me.
I found an asylum program and came to the US. Through this program I began to network with lesbian professors who have helped me to audit classes and apply to graduate school here in the US. I was accepted to the International Development and Social Change program at Clark University. I am so happy to get back to school and recently completed my first year with a 50% tuition scholarship from the school, with the remaining tuition covered by generous well-wishers. Now I am entering my second year with another scholarship from Clark and the remaining tuition covered from my part-time job and whatever I am able to fundraise from supporters to allow me to complete this program.
Please help me complete my final year! I want to get educated to facilitate awareness of how we can support greater equality in the world. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated!”

‘Mixed-ish’ at ABC Adds Mark-Paul Gosselaar in Recasting
Mark-Paul Gosselaar has boarded the upcoming ABC comedy “Mixed-ish.”
“Mixed-ish,” a spinoff of “Black-ish,” focuses on the experience of Tracee Ellis Ross’s character, Rainbow Johnson, growing up in a mixed-race family in the ‘80s. Gosselaar will play the role of Bow’s father, taking over from Anders Holm, who played the role in the original pilot.
This marks Gosselaar’s fourth broadcast series starring role in recent years. He most recently starred on the Fox shows “The Passage” and “Pitch” as well as the NBC comedy “Truth Be Told.” He is also known for his roles on shows like “Franklin & Bash,” “NYPD Blue,” and “Saved by the Bell.”
He is repped by WME, Luber Roklin Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman.
Gosselaar joins a cast that includes Arica Himmel as Bow Johnson, Tika Sumpter as Alicia Johnson, Christina Anthony as Denise, Mykal-Michelle Harris as Santamonica Johnson and Ethan Childress as Johan Johnson. The series will mark the second spinoff show to join the “Black-ish” universe after “Grown-ish,” which was recently renewed for a third season at Freeform.
Peter Saji and Kenya Barris serve as writers and executive producers along with Ellis Ross, Randall Winston, Brian Dobbins for Artists First, Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland for Cinema Gypsy, and Anthony Anderson. This series is produced by ABC Studios.
