I love that they dressed Kaylie and Scanlan in similar colors, and that they made sure he’s wearing his Revolutionary Beret™️ so that his raspberry beret* matches Kaylie’s color blocking.

i gotta say i LOVE the voice actress for Kaylie. shes doing such a good job of making her sound incredibly cynical and world tired, while also sounding very young. like someone who had to grow up far too young, who got used to looking out for herself because no one else would, but still having the desire of wanting to have someone take care of her.

as someone that hasn’t watched the whole campaign, I just want to say that when Kaylie got introduced, I thought she looked like Scanlan. Something about the hair and skin and eyes and nose all together. I thought maybe they were siblings (or something adjacent) and Scanlan was just being obtuse because he hadn’t seen her since she was a child. Because Kaylie acted like she knew him outside simple bard stories. Like he had slighted her. But then, as their first interaction went by, I left the possibility behind to coincidence. Because it would be strange it didn’t click for Scanlan soon. I thought maybe she’d been slighted in some other way by him. Maybe an old lover. But then, that thought was also left behind. I thought I was looking for connections that weren’t there.

Okay my two cents, Scanlan flirting with Kaylie absolutly made sense and yes it absolutly weird when you know who she is but he didn't? and she knew that this was the easiest way to get him alone and tell him the truth.
