What other ideas did you also have for the Hollow Knight Modern AU?
I have… a lot. (For context: I originally posted about my Hollow Knight Modern AU here). I tried to type some things out and then tumblr erased it, so instead you get my unorganized ramblings that I have on my notes app. (Under the cut so not everyone has to read them).
Essentially, Pale Royal (the Pale King) is the mayor of the oddball town of Hallownest and the somewhat negligent father of five chaotic children.
Character names:

Kinsey Royal (Broken Vessel/Lost Kin)

Knight "Ghost" Royal (The Knight/Ghost/player character)
Grimm Nightmare Sr. (Troupe Master/Nightmare King Grimm)
Grimm Nightmare Jr. (Grimmchild)
Dr. Sophia Monomon (Monomon the Teacher, I chose the name Sophia because it means wisdom or knowledge)

Pale and Blanca have an open relationship - Blanca and Herrah get along fine and Pale having a child with Herrah wasn’t a problem for Blanca. Blanca is also bisexual and in a relationship with Dryya, the Hallownest Chief of Police.
Tween Hornet: What are you talking about I have no interest in girly things I like ninjas and swords! *hides princess book under the bed*
Ghost: second grade Force of Chaos
Grimmchild/Grimm Jr.: Second grade arsonist and Ghost's best friend/accomplice
Pale King and White Lady: parenting is easy! Just let the kids figure it out for themselves!
Teenage/Young adult Hollow Knight: the only responsible person in the household. Is slowly going insane taking care of four younger siblings.
Troupe Master Grimm/Grimm Sr.: Similar parenting philosophy to PK and WL. Is *fabulous* Actively encourages his son to be a ball of chaos.
Herrah: Like a crazy cat lady but with spiders. Her home is not a place for the faint of heart.
Teenage Mantis Lords: Sisters Morningstar, Lance, and Arrow. Leaders of the student-run Fencing Club which is really just a veneer for a bunch of kids who want to be TOUGH WARRIORS! Members include Hornet and Cloth.
Traitor Lord: Mantis sisters’ older brother Mace. A deadbeat high school dropout who makes a living as a drug dealer. The family doesn't talk about him.
Lance: "Yes I'm a girl and anyone else who'd like to comment gets STABBED!"
People know better than to mess with these kids.
When Grimm gets a call from the school: "Oh? My son set a fire in the boys' bathroom, you say? Did he tell you why? Because toilet paper is very flammable, he said? Oh well, kids will be kids, it sounds very much like something I would have done at his age... Suspended? Surely that's a little harsh? With all due respect, I think this behavior is teaching him important life skills! Surely that should be more acceptable in a school?"
I'm imagining Grimm Jr. asking Ghost to run away and join the circus with him 😆😆😆
"You'd be a great act, Ghost! I'm sure my dad wouldn't mind having another kid! You could be an acrobat or a clown or a mime... (at this point Ghost gives him a look).... okay, maybe not a mime."
The town of Hallownest is technically their "hometown," but the Nightmares travel. Grimm Sr. just drops his kid off at the local public school whenever he's too busy to take care of him, never mind whether or not he's actually enrolled. Cue a lot of teachers trying to figure out where the hell this kid came from. How much the kid is actually learning, missing school so often and being dropped in random classes is... questionable, but everything is fine! The Hallownest school system has already given up. Grimm Jr. really only goes to school because Dad is too busy to deal with him full time 😆
He's doing his best to just push his kid off on a stranger like in-game 😆
Ghost also often begs for Grimm to come sleep over, which of course causes more chaos than usual in the Royal household. Poor Hollis, trying to maintain some semblance of order.
Bretta is already writing fanfic. Ghost once saves her from a bully by dropping onto him from a tree, at which point Bretta decides she’s in love. Then Bretta mentions this to Greene. Bretta: “Oh, is he your brother? He’s so hot! 😍😍” Greene: “… sibling. And they’re seven.” Bretta: “Oh… so that’s why he’s… they’re… so short….” *is mortified*
Bretta later develops a crush on Hollis and writes fan fiction about them.
Grimm just drops off his kid at the Royal house with no notice and no indication of how long he'll be gone 😆
The whole Royal family is autistic in some fashion, because look at them. Pale is an inventor in his spare time and is always thinking about how to optimize infrastructure in the town of Hallownest. He also works late and forgets to eat or sleep when he's hyperfocused. Blanca (White Lady) spends more time with her garden and her large variety of houseplants than with her children, and everything has to be clean and Just So or she'll make a fuss. She always adjusts her children's and stepdaughter's clothing before they leave the house, much to Ghost's and Hornet's chagrin.
Hollis couldn't break a rule to save their life and comes off as stiff and robotic when trying to interact with people. Their parents are proud of the former and entirely oblivious to the latter.
Kinsey is sensory-sensitive and awkward. Loud noises, bright lights, and busy rooms drive them crazy. This does not stop them from being kind of an extrovert or from getting into trouble with Hornet.
Hornet, for her part, has some sensory issues with clothing (and hates the fancy things her stepmother tries to shove her into with a passion) and speaks in a very blunt but also overly archaic/wordy manner (if you've seen her dialogue in game you'll know what I'm talking about). She has little interest in socializing with people unless a) they're her mom or siblings, b) she's causing trouble, and/ or c) it's something violence-related.
Greene takes after their mom with their love of plants. They also love animals and are better with animals than people. They're super shy and awkward lol
Ghost is well, Ghost. They often struggle to speak/experience speech loss and have a raging case of ADHD in addition to the autism, making them constantly chasing after new and interesting things, unwilling and unable to pay attention unless they're interested, and entirely oblivious to social norms. In other words, they're hell to deal with 😆
Quirrel is Miss Monomon's adopted son and a giant nerd. He's 14 and a sophomore in high school because he skipped a grade as a kid. He has an I ❤️ isopods (group including pill bugs) pin on his backpack and is really into "bugs" and other invertebrates.
Hollis, nicknamed "Holly" by their siblings, is Very Tall (like 6 foot 5 or something), rather gangly and skinny, and AMAB (in part to make their height more plausible lol). At first they look kinda intimidating but they wouldn't hurt a fly, and are just about the quietest, shyest person ever, with one exception: if you hurt their siblings, you incur their wrath. Other than that they will take anything that's thrown at them - bullying, name-calling, way too many home responsibilities for a teenager, etc. - with a stoic front. They have just about no self-esteem and have a bad case of "awkward tall person syndrome," always hunching over and trying not to stand out despite the fact that they are literally head and shoulders above their classmates. Like all their siblings they have white hair (which they keep long), pale skin and very dark eyes.
Blanca (the White Lady) is an albino, thus the white skin, white hair, and very light blue eyes. She's also something of a Karen and acts like being an albino makes her an oppressed minority or something.
She also never leaves the house without makeup.
Tiso Shieldsmith is Hollis's classmate and maybe-friend who moved to Hallownest last year. He's kind of an idiot teenage boy and he calls Hollis "Stick Bug" thanks to their stick-bug-esque physique. He's, obviously, in the martial arts and fencing club, and he's kind of trying to be a tough jock but not always succeeding. I love the way he interacts with Hollis:
"Yo, Stick Bug, my man! I mean, my non-binary guy... I mean, uh...whatever. How are you doing, pal?"
*Hollis stares at him in an expressionless way as Tiso rambles.*
Hollis always refers to their parents as Mother and Father instead of just saying "Mom" or "Dad." It's out of respect mainly, and also because Blanca tends to like everything fancy. The outfit I drew Hollis in is what they normally wear to school, at their mother's request XD
Radiance is a local celebrity with a cult-like fan base. Miss Sybil (Seer) is the school's history teacher and the students are shocked when they discover she's an intense Radiance fan. “Radiance” is a stage name and she's Grimm's cousin (a relationship neither of them particularly care to mention most of the time). Pale hates her for reasons unknown, to the point where Pale has tried to pass all kinds of town restrictions on shows and circuses specifically because of Grimm and Radiance. Grimm either ignores the anti-circus ordinances or finds loopholes, and protesters stormed the town hall at the restrictions affecting the Radiance, enough that Pale had to undo them.
Grimm has some level of ability to break the law in Hallownest in part because the police in Hallownest don't want to deal with him either (lol) and in part because Blanca has used her influence and her relationship with the Chief of Police, Dryya, to discourage the Hallownest Police Department from prosecuting him. “Oh, Mr. Nightmare can’t be in jail, his son is my youngest’s best friend, and the poor man is a single father. I can’t imagine what that would do to poor Grimm Junior. Not to mention I’ve heard that Radiance is actually a relative of his… do you want her fans storming the police department?” (This is, of course, behind her husband’s back.)
Grimm is also very good at finding loopholes, twisting people's words, and generally being a pain in the arse to anyone who has issues with him.
Herrah has dark skin and a fat but very muscular figure. Usually around Hornet and the Royal kids she's all motherly and sweet, but when dealing with people she doesn't like she's intimidating AF.
Obviously the Royal family is white af because... a) they're entitled jerks, at least to a degree and b) look at them.
Hornet has brown/light brown skin but still has the white-blond hair and almost-black irises that run in Dad's side of the family. She gets strangers trying not to stare occasionally, but at least she isn't so pale she could be mistaken for a corpse XD
In fact I imagine that several of the characters often get strangers trying not to stare- Hollis and Grimm Jr. come to mind.
Grimm has dressed his son in red and black since he was a baby; it’s not every day you see an 8-year old dressed in a fancy black and red suit with a cape and makeup that looks like a cross between "vampire," "emo," and "circus."
Tiso: Yo, Stick Bug! What's with the dress? You look like you're going to prom or something!
[Hollis is wearing a white frilly dress that's too long to be anything other than one their mom ordered specially made, along with a fancy necklace and earrings]
Hollis: Mother has tea with her gardeners' club this afternoon and would like to show me off to all her gardening friends (said in a completely calm tone, even with a slight smile)
Tiso: "Show you off?!?” You say it like you're her favorite doll instead of her kid! Are you expected to do anything at her event? That sure doesn't look like gardening clothes. Your mom is definitely being weird, you sure you're okay with this?
Hollis: Of course. It means Mother is proud of me.
Hollis has issues.
They're shy and desperate for approval and their parents are (somewhat unintentionally) walking all over them. They need love and support that's not tying their value to being "perfect." Luckily, their siblings don't want Perfect Obedient Hollis, they want the real, happy them.

Tickle Questions? Cause Why Not?
1. What’s your favorite tickle tool?
I don’t know but I’m just in love with electric toothbrushes like once I even removed all the bristles from an old toothbrush head to make it a flat attachment. And yeah an electric toothbrush can act like a makeshift massage gun for those who don’t have one. And an electric toothbrush behind ears, collarbone, hands, ribs, hips, belly, bellybutton, knees and feet. I love, and you can even tickle yourself with it, muahaha I love it 😈🪥

4. Opinion on blindfolds/restraints? Why or why not?
‘if it helps the Lee relax then yeah they can be good options especially if a Lee is ticklish to a violent degree it can help, but for me I don’t want someone to be or myself to be restrained the full time. Or their hands and feet might get sore. No no no no. None of that. So one me as the Lee or the Lee has melted and relaxed there aren’t any points for restraints anymore, so I’ll just remove them and cuddle them while giving more tickles to their desired intensity or soem after care 😚🧸
5. A spot that gets you squealing?
my hips and bellybutton, like I can sound like a seagull when I laugh in those spots 😂
6. How long do you estimate you could last before calling mercy?
Well it depends on spot and my head space, but yeah if I get competitive I won’t go down without a fight. So I’ll be the brat this little annoying shit I can be 😎
7. Ever have tickle fantasies?
yeah like I can lucid dream so many of my dreams are about tickling, but not just like ticking without a plot. Like it will be a scene weaved into the dream to make the characters bond. Like lol my dreams are like little movies or series. (I can explain this more if anyone wants) 😴
8. Why did you make your tickle blog?
Well I’m very creative and I have lots of different perspectives and ideas, so I wanted to like add my own charm to the community. And since I’m equally a ler and Lee a full switch I can be so many things for so many different people.
but if I’m being honest my zebra buddy @kikibumblesqueaks inspired me the most, since she/they also have eds and I fell in love with writing about my condition and how tickling helps me like it does for her/them 🤗

Yeah when I’m in my ler mood it’s my favorite words, tickle, tickler, tickling, ticklish, tickly, ticklee 😈

Katlyn yes 😜 I mean any type of tease adds more personality and bonding, it makes it more personal. Like if I’m tickling someone and just starting at them it can feel a bit sinister so even if the Lee can’t answer I love to ask little questions,
like oh ready for me to get your tummy. I see your feet are wiggling a bit, oh look at that smile I might just drag a feather under your nose and shin.
It like ads that little extra flavor and makes it more playful and childish. So cute 🥺
12. Upper body tickles or lower body tickles?
upper body it’s more intimate and you can like see the lees face and expression. Like them hugging me or me hugging my ler while I get tickles. It also leaves room for the to playfully fight back ☺️

on back since I want to see my lees face and I don’t want them to have trouble breathing. Ask them being on their back makes it more fair like they have more mobility and I love some little roughhousing 🥰

paint brushes your honor, like they give so much more control. And as a traditional artist I can like pain with body paint and make a big tease with it all.
like I have this game idea where you paint on the lees tummy or arms but the bellybutton or palm or hands are where you mix the paint.
also with the paintbrush you have like a wooden end, perfect for trading ribs or stretch marks 🫠
18. How long have you known about your interests in the community?
well when I was a kid I’d like replay a tickle sene from a kids show over and over again and I’d like memorize what episode that tickle sene was. When I was 9 my family got our first iPad so I watched a lot of elsagate with tickling (that was kinda inappropriate, don’t recommend) I searched for fanfics when I was 15, mainly sonic ones. But it was first when I was 18 and I fell in love with the Dsmp that I found tumblr pages like, @fluffallamaful @covenofwives @wishitweresummer @mushiewrites that I truly fell down this rabbit hole 🥰 I love you guys !
19. What’s your favorite way to be tickled? (As in provoked, teased into asking, etc.)
well any way really as long as it’s clear I’m giving my consent and I feel safe, then yeah all ways to getting tickled are welcome. But I like love when someone can tell my Lee mode, like I get more touchy and whiny then usally and they just tease until I ask them to tickle me silly 🙃
20. Are you/Do you like Polite Lees or Bratty Lees? (Asking for tickles vs Pissing someone off for tickles) Feel free to add questions/truth or dares to these if you wish!
oh I love when I have a brat that melts and becomes a clingy little puppy after an attitude adjustment or a polite Lee getting impatient and more irritated for anticipation.
I love them both and especially when you get to that tickle point when they do an uno reverse card.
But if I’m being honest I love me a little brat I can teach some manners, watch out 😈🪶

Stormbreak House Strong Family Tree
Hello all! I thought I'd post the below graphic for your reference since it'll be relevant in Chapter 32. Fun fact: Every single character within this family tree exists within ASoIaF canon, so they're not quite OCs. Most of them were never explicitly named, though, so it was basically a big game of fill-in-the-blank.
I know this introduces a ton of new characters, but don't worry; they're only going to be in one-third of this chapter when Jace first arrives at Harrenhal and most of them won't be referenced in plot-dependent ways beyond that within the fic. This counts as very slight spoilers, so if you want to go into this chapter blind as to what Harwin's side of the family looks like, hold on until after you've read the chapter, which should be up sometime tomorrow.
(Pink and blue correspond to gender. Pastel colors mean that the person is dead. This tree would also be a lot simpler if Lyonel Strong, Harwin's father, hadn't fathered children on four different women.)
Here's a breakdown of these unnamed-but-canon characters:
Jace's great-grandmother (Edeline) and great-grandfather (Tobas)
Lyonel's three wives (Laisa, Miranna, and Katlyn) and his baby mama (Camille)
Lyonel's two daughters (Clarysse and Celesse)
Simon's wife (Helna)
Simon's son (Erac) and daughter-in-law (Roslyn)
Simon's grandsons (Dorran and Derrock)
As we'll see in Chapter 32 and can see in the family tree above, I'm going a bit rogue with my depiction of Alys. I planned this fic back in October, and I was really interested in this idea that Fire and Blood was super inaccurate and misogynistic in its portrayal of women, especially when they were flouting societal norms (so think Rhaenyra, Alys, Nettles, etc.). It made me decide that most of the information about book Alys was probably wildly inaccurate and designed to paint her as crazy and evil. So instead of writing Alys as she was depicted in the book I wanted to write Alys as a woman whose story could conceivably be bastardized and twisted into her book depiction.
I also had to fill in the blanks for a bunch of birth and death dates, so most of these ages aren't canon. I'm setting the fire that killed Harwin and Lyonel in about 123 AC. I decided that Simon's son (Erac) died in that fire as well for reasons. I also decided that Larys and Alys's mothers both died giving birth to them.

ALIAH IN HER GLORY
She has appeared on vs120shound before but not often enough. Why? Why wouldn't such a lovely smoking beauty not be plastered all over this blog (as a published writer, I still cringe when I offer double negatives; but they work, don't they)? Fair questions both. To be consistent with what I posted an hour ago on SFK (Smoking Fetish Kingdom), I wrote that most of the clips I've seen of her are too brief in duration for my liking. Well, for full disclosure: I've liked them all. Just haven't reached or surpassed my time threshold. This, of course, within one day of me posting a five-second clip of a beauty dragging and exhaling on vs120shound (Katlyne Lemos). Added Aliah here in early-November 2022. I ask my loyal followers, and sometimes viewers, have you seen a hotter SF model/social media poster? Probably not. I thank brazilcandids for posting 9 clips of her recently on SFK. Will be sending many of the other 8 clips into my library, and I'm sure since most of them DO approach a minute in length, some of them will appear on my blog. Give it time, Aliah Worshippers. But let's deal with what's before us, this wonderful, GLORIOUS clip. Very pretty, exceedingly so. Can not find the right way to quantify her sexiness. And I like, but not love, her smoking style. She is aliahsmokess on Social Media and Aliah Mathews on onlyfans. Found out that on OF, she does adult content. I do NOT do OF but this all indicates I might have to bite the bullet and enter that realm. Just for her "X" clips. We'll see. Again, not the matter at hand. Not overly impressed with her exhales but I am sophisticated enough, seasoned enough at plowing through SF content on the "InterWebs" to realize that exhale visibility is a function of many factors, such as lighting, humidity if outdoors and to a lesser extent indoors, camera angle, camera quality and others. But still mainly a product of how hungry is the drag, how powerful is the inhale and how strong is the exhale itself. Do NOT give her strong grades with the exhale. NOT trying to be a "hater" here, just honest. Cannot say where she will appear -- or whether she will -- on my soon to be published Top-25 all-time list of favorite SF models. But I cannot endeavor to compile an accompanying Honorable Mention list without at least dedicating some space to her. Hope you enjoy.

Ok, ngl, I love how much effort you put into your Human/Modern AU. It's quite fantastic to read, I do have to ask on other characters like the God Tamer, Zote, Elderbug, and Lace, what're they like in your AU if you have any ideas for them?
Honestly, I haven’t thought of much for most of them yet, but my friend and I had some discussions that led to more character lore regarding Zote and the ghost characters, so here ya go!
• Gorb: the school janitor and a crazy Radiance fan. He occasionally talks with Sybil about their obsession.
• Zote: The Hallownest public school’s horrible gym teacher, who may or may not be on drugs. He thinks way too much of himself and keeps talking about how his precepts are the way to success. Bretta develops a crush on him.

I think the Mario movie would definitely benefit from having a tie-in show due to the potential for worldbuilding, which would be a first for Illumination because I don't think they've ever made a series based on any of their movies
(I'm gonna lump these two together since they both have the same kind of question.) An Illumination Mario movie cartoon sounds great on paper. But it depends on how it's executed.
Buckle up, this is gonna be a looong post:
A Mario movie cartoon would give us the time needed to flesh out the characters and worlds a lot more than the movie did. We could have time for more bonding moments between Mario and Luigi, we could get to see more of the Mario family, Bowser's minions could do some comedic moments and we could learn more about Bowser and the other Mario villains, we can explore the Mushroom Kingdom and other kingdoms and worlds from the games, and so on and so forth.
But it depends on what kind of story Illumination would do. Would it be more like Wander over Yonder- a comedic episodic adventure that slowly builds up to an overarching story in later seasons? Would it be like Infinity Train- an mystery/ adventure that slowly reveals more about its world with each episode and takes the time to flesh out and explore characters mindset, personalities, and motivations? Or would it be like CocoMellon- a lazy, mindless, cash grab timewaster that parents can put on to keep their kids quiet. It really would depend on who Illumination would hire to direct and write the show. Someone with a passion for Mario and wants to tell a good story, or someone who only cares about profit and turning the show into nothing but a boring easter egg factory for fans.
Another deciding factor would be if Illumination would do this in 2D or 3D. Now I believe that 2D would work best for Mario. Illumination can do 2D animation well as seen in the Minions 2 movie end credits and even in the Mario movie concept art.
With a proper budget and the right creative team, a Mario movie cartoon is possible! But maybe Nintendo would be hesitant to do one because of how the 90's Super Show cartoons were. For as nostalgic as they are, no one can deny that all three of those cartoons had a laundry list of problems, as well as a budget of seven dollars and a chicken sandwich.
But I'm imagining Illumination hiring the Flying Bark Studios creative team. You know, the guys who made Rottmnt and Lego Monkie Kid!
Imagine a Mario movie cartoon done in that gorgeous art style and with the same fluid and well choreographed fight scenes as those shows. I'm already drooling at the thought, it would be so amazing!!
But knowing Illumination, they would probably do it in 3D. Now, 3D can look good in kids cartoons. 2012 TMNT, My Dad the Bounty Hunter, and Maya and the Three are proof that it can be done well and even with a cinematic quality with Maya's case. But 95% of 3D kids cartoons aren't given a proper budget and are mostly shameless cash grabs mostly made by greedy corporations trying to wring as much money from parents as they can like with Megamind Rules, Coco Mellon, SpongeBob Camp Coral, etc.
So like I said, it depends on Illuminations motivations (which would probably mostly be just money), if it's done in 2D or 3D, and the passion and love that whoever directs and writes the cartoon has for Mario and the franchise.

Katlyn x Asher Stuff for Valentines Day:
-Met a little before Garmadon took over the city.
-Asher loves to cook for people, but he and Katlyn will also often have cooking dates together.
-Date nights vary from going out to meeting up for a job/crime to simply relaxing
-Asher is very doting and would give the world to Katlyn in a heartbeat.
-Katlyn is very encouraging and let’s Asher know he can let down his walls around her.
-Ride or Die couple. Can also be very lovey dovey
-Eventually settle down one day and have kids.
-Sweet goodnight and good morning texts when they’re apart.
-Long phone calls
-Asher listening to Katlyn talk about technology and the latest designs and theories and Katlyn watching Asher cook and explain the importance to certain methods or steps.
