Heyy!!
Question for you. How do you think some of your OCs would be without their trauma and what do you think they’d be doing?
Sorry it took me so long to reply to this ! I've been ill but I've been thinking about this a lot.
I think Katherine Scott from my story Seething Scope is the character who would be the most different, such from where she is in the story right now is a wallflower with the backbone of a jellyfish and a very bad Panic disorder, I think if she didn't have such a rough childhood, she would be a lot more comfortable in her skin, she'd work at a simple job, settle down with a nice girl, and get on the Meds she needs. If she doesn't meet Nat and have to deal with the Paintings, she still would feel a pull to the supernatural, though not to the same degree.
As for others in the Seething Scope story, Nat would be mostly the same, just a lot more...Well adjusted around people, not as broke and would have a better relationship with Isabelle.
My Bloodhunter Gwen would have not nearly as many anger issues if her father wasn't awful, and the scar on her face wouldn't be there. She might still have become a Bloodhunter because I think her blood lust would still be here but in this world she wouldn't have had to run away. She also probably wouldn't have met her wife so she'd actually hate the idea of this. Gwen wouldn't let anyone change the past, because it's hers and she'll do with it whatever she wants. Even if it's bad.
Val would also be a tough case, because he'd be much the same, but more open with his feelings and have a healthier relationship with death and time.
