[8:41 PM] “God, I’m stuffed,” Junhui sighed happily, leaning back in his seat and patting his stomach. “We gotta eat here more often. I think the cook likes us.”

“She likes you,” you corrected him, grinning. “She came back three times with more soup and sides, insisting you ‘needed your strength’ or something.”

“Well, I’m not strong now, I’m stuffed,” he said.

You bit your lip. “But…consider this. That ice cream place is, like two doors down.”

His eyes narrowed. “Oh, no. Not again. Not after you embarrassed me in front of that girl who works there–”

“It’s not my fault that you get flustered when I tease you!” You laughed. “Come on, please?”

“When I said I was stuffed, I really meant it,” he insisted, pulling out his wallet and laying cash with the bill. “I could go home and sleep until Christmas right now.”

You pouted. “But but…please?”

He gave you a Look, but you kept up the pout, tilting your head ever-so-slightly.

He groaned, smiling. “Don’t give me that puppy dog face. How am I supposed to say no to that?”

“You aren’t,” You quipped, immediately brightening. “Come on. I bet we’ll get that girl working there’s name, and maybe her number, too.”

“I don’t need her number. I have you,” he reminded you as you both stood from the table.

You grinned, taking his hand and squeezing. “All the same, I bet we’ll get it. She looks like a Sophie. Do you think her name is Sophie?”

“I really don’t care, you menace,” he mumbled as the two of you walked out of the restaurant.

You grinned when you felt him squeeze your hand back.

The lively talking and drinking had dulled down a bit and you now noticed the disappearance of your boyfriend more severely. You excused yourself from the conversation you were having with Seungcheol that was dying anyway, and walked over to where Jun was sitting, a little ways away from the rest of the crowd.

The sun set late in the middle of summer, and it was just starting to set now, shining its last light on the scenic view that Jun was watching absentmindedly.

His eyes shifted to yours, noticing your presence as you stood beside him. He smiled, looking at your face, and opened up his arms to welcome you to sit on his lap. You took up the offer, snuggling into the crook of his neck as his hands circled around your waist.

“What were you thinking about?” You asked, hand travelling up to his hair to play with it softly.

“Just…” He blushed slightly, looking away from you and your interest peaked up.

“Just?”

“I was just thinking… that…” He stalled, blushing even more and you laughed.

“That? Come on, tell me.”

“That… I want to marry you one day.” He said, looking back at you finally. This time, he wasn’t the only one blushing, as your cheeks dusted pink at the thought.

“Really?” You whispered, holding him a little closer. He nodded slowly, a smile creeping onto his face as he glanced back at you. You could tell he was very shy admitting this, and it made your heart swell.

“I want to marry you one day too.” You said, smiling and looking back out at the scenery. You could feel your heart racing in your chest, as well as his heart beating as quickly as yours, given how close you two were.

You stayed there, cuddling together with the biggest smiles and blushing cheeks until Jeonghan came and interrupted your pleasant silence, telling you to come clean up from dinner.

You had one rule at work that you swore you would never break. Do not date coworkers. Every time you heard about coworkers dating one another, it always ended up with a messy break up with someone having to quit their job, and that was something you didn’t want to deal with. Then Joshua came into your life while you were working at the local coffee shop near your apartment. Everything about him screamed boyfriend material. His handsome looks, his cute smile, his charming personality, and his gentlemen like skills. You had been working with him for over two months now and still, there wasn’t a negative flaw you could find in him. Yet you couldn’t date him.

It was almost an unsaid thing between the two of you as every shift you worked together, both of you would tease and flirt with one another nonstop. Some customers even commented on how cute your relationship was. You hated to admit that you had a crush on him, but until one of you quit, you couldn’t do anything about it.

“Hi cutie, did you miss me?” Joshua chuckled as he clocked in for his shift, making you roll your eyes at him.

“In your dreams, Josh,” You giggled with a small blush on your cheeks as you tried your best to focus on the current drink you were making.

“How did you know?” He teased back, making the both of you laugh from his quick witted comebacks, “When are you going to let me take you out on a date? I feel like I’ve been more than obvious that I think you're pretty,” His question made your eyes grow wide as you handed out the drink to the customer before turning back to face him.

“It’s not that I don’t want to go out on a date with you, it’s just,” You stopped, realizing how stupid it may sound to him as you bit your lip lightly.

“You don’t date coworkers? Is that it?” He guessed correctly as you nodded your head.

“I just don’t think it’s a smart idea to date a coworker since a countless amount of bad things could happen,” You slowly got quieter as you went on with your sentence, beginning to play with your fingers.

Joshua nodded his head in understanding before walking over to the manager, “Hey, I quit!” He randomly announced, taking off his apron and clocking out of the register as your eyes grew wide with surprise.

Your mouth flew open to protest his actions, but nothing seemed to follow as your throat felt dry from his bold move. He walked around the counter with a smile on his face to order a drink as you followed him.

“Excuse me miss, I’d like an iced Americano and to take you out on a date this Saturday. What do you say?” He smirked as he saw a small grin beginning to spread across your face.

“It would be my pleasure sir. Would you like room for any cream in that Americano?” You chuckled at his irresistible charming attitude.

“You know my order so well,” Joshua chuckled as he couldn’t keep his eyes off you.

“Hmm I wonder why,” You both continued to giggle as you returned back to him with his drink, “I can’t wait to see what you have planned for our date.”

Joshua smirked at you with a small chuckle before taking a sip of his coffee, “Don’t worry, I’ve had it planned out since the day I first met you.”

a/n: had this just sitting in docs for awhile and thought i'd give some soft simple love to the dash

You heard the door slam in the background of the music blasting in your apartment, your own voice humming along to the tune under your breath. The blade of your knife slid along the ripened skin of a mango. You had picked up a crate of the golden goodies just a day ago and they had finished ripening this morning. (Well, more like barely just ripened. You were a bit too excited.)

A pair of arms wrapped themselves around your waist as your visitor hugged you from behind and tucked his head onto your shoulder. "Hi," he said softly, pressing a kiss to the side of your head.

"Hi, how was your day?" You asked him back, carefully rotating the slippery fruit in your hand.

Wen Junhui hummed by your ear. "It was okay. Much better now though." He burrowed his face into the warmth of your neck, his sigh warming your skin. "How about you, hm?"

"Eagerly awaiting my pretties," you chirped, your face etched with a wide smile. You sliced a little sliver of mango off, then lifted it up to his mouth. "Is it sweet?"

You felt his nod, the content breath on your skin once more. "Oh, yeah. That's pretty good."

You nudged him with your elbow. "Go wash up, okay? I'll bring the bowl over to the couch and we can watch something."

"You don't have—"

"Nonsense," you cut him off. You sent him a look. "Jun, you've had a long day, okay? You should relax; let me do this for you."

A smile bloomed on his face and you swore a smattering of pink appeared on his cheekbones. He dipped his head to press a kiss to your nose. "Thank you. I love you."

"I love you, too," you sang back with a small laugh, watching him backpedal toward the bedroom with a goofy sort of grin on his face. You went back to peeling the mangoes, slipping a slice into your smiling mouth, belly filling with love and golden fruit.

Oct 1st [Jun + Corruption Kink]

[9:35] A gasp left your lips at the feeling of his fingers wrapping around your throat. His touch was gentle and light but it didn’t change the fact that the action itself has heat rushing to the surface of your skin and pooling in the pit of your stomach. You gazed at the dizzying array of bruises and bite marks that littered your skin through your reflection. Your wrists twisted a little, held tightly by Jun’s other hand as he leaned over your shoulder, drinking in the sight of you as well and smirking at the way you squirmed.

“My precious flower, look at you,” He squeezed your throat just slightly but it was enough to make you whine, legs trembling slightly as you leaned back into him. The pretty, flowy babydoll did little to cover any of the marks that ran from your thighs, over your stomach and chest and up to your neck. It was utterly mesmerizing, if a flustering force as well.

“I-I” you realized he was waiting for your reactions. Your fingers played with the hem of the babydoll as you met his eyes in the mirror before quickly darting away.

Jun grabbed your jaw and firmly brought your gaze back to his, eyes burning into yours. “You’re going to get shy now?”

“W-Well-”

Jun nipped at your ear, making you squeal. “You’re the one who asked me to ruin you,” He murmured. “And all it took was my mouth to turn you into a mess. You can’t get shy now after asking so sweetly for me to do this.”

His words were dizzying and you found yourself pressing your thighs together and feeling a desperate need for more. Somehow it was so much harder to say you wanted him to keep going than it was to ask him to start but he had yet to touch where you truly wanted him and it was driving you crazy.

His fingertips left your throat, trailing over the marks left on your skin and down to your chest. “Ruining the pristine petals of my precious flower.”

“Please,” you couldn’t stop the word from leaving your lips but you closed your mouth quickly after, unwilling to admit just how badly you wanted more.

His lips curled into a smirk. “Please what?”

“P-Please…” Any and also words died on your tongue as he let go of your wrists and his hand slid around your hip. You inhaled sharply as he ran it along the edge of your panties, anticipation making you shiver.

“You know what I want?” He hummed, fingertips drumming along your inner thigh and easing your legs apart. “I want to hear you asking me for every little thing you want. I want you begging for me to touch you. I want that pretty, perfect mouth,” he drew a moan from you as he tapped his fingers lightly over your clothed clit. “To finally say every filthy thing your mind has ever imagined.”

You keened back into him, crying out as he started to rub circles into your clit through your panties, the sensation still enough to have pleasure washing through you.

“No worries,” he murmured. “I have all the time in the world to make you fall apart.”

[ 7:52pm ] “jun, scoot over please” you hummed and he looked up, noticing the two steaming cups in your hands.

he did as you asked, opening his blanket. even though because of that the warmth was escaping, he patiently waited for you to settle down carefully.

you handed him his cup and he closed the blanket, covering you. jun took a sip of the hot chocolate and you did the same.

as you put down your cup and watched how the tiny marshmallows stirred inside, jun gently grabbed your head with his one hand. his thumb slightly pressed into your cheek as he stared at your lips.

“you have a milk moustache” he giggled and wiped it tenderly, eyes still lingering on your lips.

so you closed the distance between you two, pressing your lips into his.

once put all the cooking spices on the top shelves of the cupboards to see what you'd do when you needed them while making dinner. was horrified when you started clambering up the countertop, balancing on tiptoe rather precariously to see into the back of the shelf. now constantly underestimates how tall you are, putting stuff ridiculously low bc he doesn't want you to get yourself hurt, which is nice, but a little weird

finds you the most adorable. dotes on you like you're something so precious. will randomly coo at you and pinch your nose affectionately bc you're just so smol. either gets kicked in the shins for that or is rewarded with a flustered smile, depending on your mood. very seriously asks you if you can't see if you're in a crowd with lots of taller people, will offer to lift you up before quickly taking it back bc he can't carry you for that long

did jihoon like, no love, sitting next to you? yes, absolutely. especially when you were looking so drop dead gorgeous in your outfit, making it hard for him to concentrate on what was going on stage and to not steal glances at you continuously.

but did he like the fact that his members and your members had on purpose saved the two of you seats right next to each other when they had learnt that the two groups would be sitting next to each other? of course not.

on any other day he would have been thrilled to be able to sit next you, to hold your hands as he tried not to laugh at some lame joke you had made.

but now, during an award show, especially mama, he was not at all happy about it. especially when he had to pretend like he was not at all affected by you. he thought he was a master in controlling his emotions but turns out that all his placidness could easily be crumbled by you.

“hi.” you whispered a bit awkwardly, smiling at him in an apologetic manner, clearly embarrassed by your own members too.

oh, pearls looked great on your hair. maybe he should gift you a pearl hairband the next time-

“hi.” he said, remembering that he had to greet you back. he could already feel his cheeks heating up from the way you were looking at him, and he immediately turned his attention back on to the stage, not wanting to embroil the two of you in a scandal.

“you look really handsome, by the way.”

shit.

glaring once at junhui (who was sitting right next to him) for snickering in the rather obvious way, he reached out for the water bottle. taking in a sip, he prayed for his heart rate to slow down, hammering away in his chest because of your compliment.

jihoon dearly wished it was him who had complimented you first because it was you who looked so, so beautiful and elegant and pretty. had it been the usual dinner dates the two of you always managed to squeeze in between your tight schedule, he was sure he would have been staring at you the whole time and probably be putting in empty spoons into his mouth.

in fact, had you been sitting anywhere else, it would have been easier for him to steal glances at you (he thinks).

but right now he was just so flustered by the situation that he could not even think straight. not only was he controlling the urge to strangle his members who had for some reason (now it was very obvious to jihoon as to what the reason was) had run to catch seats before he did but he also was dying to not blurt out right in front of the cameras about how pretty you are. (though he was pretty sure that by now if anyone were to pan the camera in his way, anyone with a pair of eyes could see the awkwardness between the two of you).

“um, you too.” he muttered, exhaling hard. to his surprise, he heard you giggle, causing him to look at you in surprise.

“sorry, it’s just that…you’re really cute when you’re flustered, you know.” you smiled at him, and for a second, he nearly forgot that he was out in public and that he had to control his emotions.

“oh my god, i don’t think i’ve seen jihoon this lovesick before.” soonyoung said, snapping him back to the present.

“guys, i’m going to kill you.”

“you threaten to kill us everyday.” mingyu complained, earning another giggle from you. did your giggles always sound this cute?

“i do not.”

“yeah, he does not!” you argued back, with a fake glare. jihoon always loved how his members and you got along so well but right now, he felt like his heart was going to burst with love for you. “jihoon is an absolute sweetheart!”

“um, babe, i would really appreciate it if you didn’t compliment me so much right now…since we are in public.” he muttered, looking down in an attempt to cool down his heated cheeks.

“oh my- oh my. is jihoon blushing?” seungkwan asked and by now, jihoon had abandoned all his plans on killing his members and instead resorted to hoping the ground would just swallow him up as a whole.

“ooh, now even the camera is on the two of you!” one of your members, joohyun, snickered.

“you wish.” you said. “it’s on all of us. watch the headlines talk about how close we are with seventeen.”

“is that so?” jeonghan asked and to jihoon’s horror, he could see the cogs in his brain literally moving. “then everyone shut up so that only jihoon and y/n are on camera, okay? but just keep egging them on to get them to interact.”

“respect our privacy please.” jihoon glared, but all he got was his beloved members laughing. grumbling, he turned his attention back to the stage, hoping they would soon get tired of it.

they did stop with the teasing after some time, but the effect of their previous teasing was still lasting. jihoon could still feel his cheeks blazing from before, his heart going at a hundred kilometres per hour.

and as when he went to receive an award and saw you cheer louder than anyone in the crowd, he felt a sudden surge of love for you. because he was dating you. you, who was a goddess in his eyes. you, who loved him so, so much. him and you, who the members supported so much and he was always grateful to them. you, whom he loved and treasured so much but sans few, no one else knew.

and as he walked back to his seat and was greeted by your beaming, proud face, jihoon suddenly had a thought. maybe, maybe it was a good thing your relationship wasn’t public yet.

because there was certainly a thrill knowing what was the real reason for tomorrow's headlines of his group and your group being close.
