MHA Chapter 421 spoilers translations

This week’s initial tentative super rough/literal translations under the cut.

1 おまえらもかよ omaera mo ka yo "You guys too, huh?"

2 そっちもな socchi mo na "And you as well."

3 警察から"まだ戦える者は"って……！けいさつから"まだたたかえるものは"って……！ keisatsu kara "mada tatakaeru mono wa" tte......! "[I heard] from the police, 'Who is still able to fight?'......!"

8 かつてガンギマリだった彼はかつてガンギマリだったかれは katsute GANGIMARI datta kare wa "and one time his face was so intense and distant*." (Note: What Sero is saying here is that one time Shouto had this look on his face that is described by the Japanese slang word: gangimari. Gangimari refers to an intense, eyes-wide face that comes from a marijuana high. It also refers to a feeling of emptiness that comes with the high. If you search for images of the face, you'll see it's often a frightening look. I believe Sero here is referring to the face Shouto makes at him in their sports festival battle in chapter 34, so I believe this description is meant to refer to how Shouto was overwhelmed with anger and mentally somewhat removed from the fight itself.)

I've skipped figuring it out in the interest of time and may come back to it later. The gist of this line is something like "The old lady is also at her limit with injured persons... Whether or not anything can be done...")

3 あんたいても母さんたち熱いだけだあんたいてもかあさんたちあついだけだ anta itemo kaasan-tachi atsui dake da Even with you here, mom and the others will only be hot.

Pazuribe Event Translation - “Decisive battle! Aquatic fight! ~Hanemiya Kazutora edition~”

There's an aquatic festival going on! Kazutora asks the rest of them to join a fight inside a maze. Battle between Kazutora and Takemichi vs. Chifuyu and Baji. Click on Read More to find the translation!

Takemichi: Aquatic sports experience, sea creature petting corner… There’s so many things, but where do we go?

松野千冬：悩むなぁ・・・

Chifuyu: I can’t decide…

場地圭介：イルカショーまで結構時間あるし。

Baji: There’s plenty of time until the dolphin show.

場地圭介：好きなことから回ればいいんじゃねぇの？

Baji: Why don’t we go around from what we like?

松野千冬：場地さんは行きたいとこないんすか？

Chifuyu: Is there anywhere you want to go, Baji-san?

Takemichi: A huge maze?

Kazutora: Mhh mhh! It’s a maze but it’s supposed to be a fighting game! Doesn’t it sound fun?

花垣武道：えーとなになに・・・「迷路を駆使しながら頭、肩、腰に紙風船をつけて水鉄砲で狙い合う2人1組の総当たりマッチです。」？

Takemichi: Eeeeh, let’s see, let’s see… “It’s a round-robin match where pairs of two have to aim with water gun pistols at each other to the paper balloons attached to their head, shoulders and hips while making full use of the maze”?

松野千冬：へぇ〜そういう感じなのか！面白そうすね

Chifuyu: Eeeeh～ So that’s how it feels! Looks fun.

羽宮一虎：だろだろ？な！一緒に行こうぜ！

Kazutora: Right, right? Then! Let’s go together!

松野千冬：どうしますか？場地さん

Chifuyu: What do we do? Baji-san.

場地圭介：いいんじゃね？行くとこ悩んでたし面白そうだしな

Baji: Isn’t it good? I’m troubled about where to go, but it looks interesting

羽宮一虎：よっしゃ！じゃあしゅっぱーつ！！

Kazutora: Woohoo! Then, let’s go!!

Baji: O, oi! Don’t run away without hearing what I have to say!!

松野千冬：オレたちも行きましょう！場地さん！

Chifuyu: Let’s get going too! Baji-san!

場地圭介：はぁ〜そうだな、行くぞ千冬！

Baji: Aahh～ That’s right, let’s go Chifuyu!

Chifuyu: Shit! I lost sight of Baji-san…!

松野千冬：思ってたより迷路が複雑だな　早く場地さんと合流しねぇと！！

Chifuyu: The maze is more complex than I thought. I’ve got to join Baji-san quickly!!

???: Paang!!

松野千冬：おわっ！！あぶね！！！

Chifuyu: Woaaah!! That was close!!!

羽宮一虎：相恋わらず反射神経やべーな千冬♪

Kazutora: Your reflexes are crazy as always Chifuyu ♪

松野千冬：一虎君こそ相恋わらず奇襲っすか

Chifuyu: Is it Kazutora-kun’s usual surprise attack?

羽宮一虎：サバゲーの時と同じだと思うなよ！？

Kazutora: Don’t you think it’s the same as when we play airsoft!?

松野千冬：それはこっちのセリフっすよ！！

Chifuyu: That’s my line!!

–After defeating Kazutora in Easy Level–

羽宮一虎：オラオラ！どうした千冬！そんなもんか！？

Kazutora: C’mon! What’s up, Chifuyu! Is that so!?

松野千冬：クソッ！

Chifuyu: Shit!

羽宮一虎：結構息上がってんなぁ？もう限界か？

Kazutora: You’re quite out of breath, aren’t ya? Already at your limit?

松野千冬：なめてもらっちゃ困るぜ　今から大逆転決めてやりますよ！

Chifuyu: Don’t underestimate me. I’m gonna make a big comeback from now on!

羽宮一虎：そうでなくっちゃなぁ！！

Kazutora: That’s the spirit!!

松野千冬：オラァ！！

Chifuyu: Damn you!!

パァン！

羽宮一虎：おっと！

Kazutora: Whoops!

松野千冬：（一虎君の風船は1個潰せた・・・けど足場のせいか消耗がすごい）

Chifuyu: (I was able to smash one of Kazutora-kun’s balloons… but due to the scaffolding the waste was a lot)

羽宮一虎：1個潰されちゃったか・・・でもまだまだな！！

Kazutora: One of them was managed to be smashed… but it’s not over yet!

松野千冬：あぶね！！クソ・・・まけねぇぞ！！一虎君！！！

Chifuyu: That was close!! Damn… I ain’t losing!! Kazutora-kun!!!

羽宮一虎：やってみろや！！！

Kazutora: Go ahead and give it a shot!!!

–After defeating Kazutora in Middle Level–

羽宮一虎：イェーイ！オレの勝ち！

Kazutora: Yaaay! It’s my win!

松野千冬：クソッ！すみません・・・場地さん！！

Chifuyu: Shit! I’m sorry… Baji-san!!

羽宮一虎：でもギリギリで風船残り1個にされちまったな・・・

Kazutora: But I just barely got one balloon left…

羽宮一虎：場地さんが3個風船残ってたら流石に相手するのきちぃかも

Kazutora: If Baji-san has three balloons left, naturally he might be a dangerous opponent.

花垣武道：あ！！一虎君こんなところに！探しましたよ！！

Takemichi: Ah!! Kazutora-kun you are here! I’ve been looking for you!

羽宮一虎：おせぇよタケミチ～　ってオマエ2個も風船潰されてんじゃん

Kazutora: You’re running late, Takemichi～ Wait two of your balloons were smashed.

羽宮一虎：何してんだよ～

Kazutora: What are we gonna do～

花垣武道：え！一虎君も一緒じゃないすか！

Takemichi: Eh! Isn’t Kazutora-kun in the same situation!

羽宮一虎：オレは千冬相手にしてたんだから仕方ねぇだろ

Kazutora: I was dealing with Chifuyu so it couldn't be helped…

花垣武道：千冬相手にって・・・え！千冬風船全部潰れてじゃん

Takemichi: Dealing with Chifuyu… Eh! All of Chifuyu’s balloons were smashed.

松野千冬：うっせ！！

Chifuyu: Shut up!!

羽宮一虎：うし、場地探すか

Kazutora: Well, let’s find Baji.

花垣武道：今度は置いてかないでくださいよ！

Takemichi: Please don’t leave me behind this time!

羽宮一虎：着いてこれねぇのが悪りぃんじゃん？

Kazutora: Isn't it a bummer that you can't keep up with me?

花垣武道：うっ・・・

Takemichi: Ooof…

ピュン！パァン！

Pum! Pang!

花垣武道：え・・・？あ！！！風船潰された！

Takemichi: Eh… AH!!! The balloon got smashed!

羽宮一虎：そこか！！

昔見つけた細切れな画像たちを日本語の対話の流れとして違和感のないように並べるとこれが正しいのではないかと思える状態にしてみました一箇所語尾が写っていない部分の補足としてはジャンの台詞なので単に「なった」よりも「なったんだ」「なったんだよ」などのほうが適当かもしれませんしさらになにかつけたした言葉もあったのかまではまったく予測できませんけれども… 訓練兵時代の思い出話などはまさにjeanmarco ficにそのままなありそうな光景なのが本当におもしろいです I tried to arrange the shredded images I found in the past so that they fit together as a flow of Japanese dialogue, and put them in a state that I thought was correct. As an addition to the part where the end of a word is not shown in the image, since this is Jean's dialog, it might be more appropriate to say "なったんだ" or "なったんだよ" rather than simply "なった". Also, I have no idea if there are any additional words that he might have added to this dialog or not… It was really interesting to hear his memories of his time as a trainee, which is exactly the kind of scene you would expect to see in a jeanmarco fic.

─逆に、励まされたことなどは。 Q: On the contrary, have you ever been encouraged?

ジャン「マルコは……オレが『今、何をするべきか』わかる人間だ、と言ったんだ。オレは最初、聞き流してたが……トロスト区のことが終わって、その意味がわかった。その時すべきことが見えた。まるで、死んだマルコに未来を託されたみたいな気分に［なった（?）］ Jean: He said… I was a person who knew what need to be done. At first I didn't take him seriously, …but after what happened in Trost, I understood what he meant. I could see what I needed to do at that time. At the same time, I felt as if Marco, who had passed away, had entrusted me with the future.

─「今、何をするべきか」の出所は、マルコさんというわけですね。 Q: So the word 'what should I do now' is because of what he said, I see.

AFFT Event 10/13/2017: Yuri-centric Parts

This one is a long one. But oh-so-worth-it. Some Yuri pieces of information translated from the AFFT Event October 13, 2017

アニメフィルムフェスティバル（AFFT)

アニメ１００周年を記念したフェスティバル。オールナイト上映回や、製作陣によるトークショーなどが行われます。

Anime Film Festival (AFFT)

[TN: I believe the T stands for Tokyo]

A festival commemorating the 100th anniversary of anime. There was an all-night screening (for episodes 14-25 of Season 1), as well as a talkshow with members of the production team.

The production team attendees were Katsura Masakazu, Nishida Masafumi, and Producer Tamura Kazuhiko

Questions were accepted by the team here, and there was a special illustration released for the event.

Yuri's black ribbon. His hair was designed at the character creation stage, but when the Judicial Bureau setting was added, it became a black ribbon according to the legal uniform. Naturally he cannot just put it on. I guess his hair is not tied (lit spreads) when he sleeps, and he's naked when he goes to bed! And Mr. Nishida. Yuri is naked when he sleeps...!

The Great Ramen Debate:

Katsura's comments on darker minded people not eating ramen, sparked a debate between him and Nishida on whether Yuri eats ramen. Poor Tamura was the mediator.

There were many entertaining moments like the ramen debate, such as a discussion on their attire. They were supposed to come to the event dressed casually (in TaiBani T-shirts) but Nishida showed up in a suit, so Katsura felt betrayed 🤣

Tumblrにアカウント開設してからしばらく経つから今更感がヤバいんだけど、一応固定用に自己紹介でも投げとこうかな。

というわけで初めましての方は初めまして、そうでない方はお疲れ様です。Cyberspace (サイバースペース)と申します。Hardstyle (ハードスタイル)と呼ばれる、オランダ生まれのEDMを制作しているDTMerです。現在、Meteoroidというユニットでプロデューサー兼MV制作担当として活動しています。

日本生まれではありますが、親の仕事の都合で幼少期にイギリスで生活していたため、日本語と英語のバイリンガルです。また、ハードスタイルに出会う前はヒップホップやメタルを聴いていた人間なので、そっち方面のジャンルにも興味があります。割と攻撃的で派手なジャンルが好きです。

現在Xに加え、MisskeyやMastodonといった、いわゆるFediverse系のSNSにもアカウントを持っており、恒例の挨拶投稿はアプリ「SocialHub」を利用してそっちと同時投稿しています(ゆくゆくはTumblrもFediverseに参入するらしいので、実現したらいいなと思ってます)。また、Wordpressで運用しているMeteoroidのWebサイト「Go hard for V (https://gohardforv.jp)」での投稿も、こちらに同時投稿されるようになっています。

Tumblrでは自分が過去に制作した楽曲などを気まぐれで投稿する他、長文投稿や改行などをあまり意識しない投稿など、Xでは出来ないような形の表現が出来たらと思っています。何卒よろしくお願いします。

It’s been a while since I opened an account on Tumblr, but please let me do some self introduction for a while.

My name is Cyberspace, a Japanese composer who creates Hardstyle music which has Dutch origins. Now, I’m serving as a producer/music video artist for my unit “Meteoroid.”

I’m born in Japan, but grew up in UK during my childhood due to my father’s job, so I am JP/EN bilingual. Before I fell in love with Hardstyle, I was a Hiphop head and Metal head, so I do love these genres as well, and my musical style is heavily influenced by these aggressive music styles.

Now I have several social accounts on X/Twitter and Fediverse, and the greeting posts are cross-posted with my Misskey/Mastodon accounts by using “SocialHub” app. I heard that Tumblr itself is going to join the Fediverse too, and I am hoping that it comes true. Also, the posts on Meteoroid’s website “Go hard for V,” which is operated on Wordpress, will be also cross-posted on my Tumblr too.

Here, I am going to introduce my own tunes, and doing some long posts which can’t be done on X, etc. Thank you very much and let’s keep in touch.

昨年��2014）12月、ついに念願のGPファイナルがスペインで開催された（バルセロナ）。地元ハビエル・フェルナンデスの人気はもちろん、スペインの観客はどの国の選手にも驚くほど熱心な声援をおくった。会場は連日、ほぼ満員だった。

Last December (2014), the long-sought after GP Final was finally held in Spain (Barcelona). Aside from the popularity of local player Javier Fernandez, the Spanish audience was surprisingly enthusiastic in their support for players of all nationalities. The venue was nearly full every day.

「スペイン人は元々スポーツ観戦が大好きなんですよ。でもあの大会の後で、大勢の人々に『フィギュアスケートがあれほど面白いとは思わなかった』と言われました。うれしかったですね」

"Spaniards love to watch sports by nature. But after that competition, many people said to me, 'I didn't think figure skating could be so interesting.' It made me happy."

この大いに盛り上がった大会の後だった、スペインに新たなリンク２カ所（バルセロナとグラナダ）の建設が決まったのは。

It was after this highly successful tournament that the decision was made to build two new rinks in Spain (Barcelona and Granada).

2012年、日本から新たな風が舞い込んだ。羽生結弦（はにゅう・ゆづる）が同じクラブに移って来たのである。

In 2012, a new wind blew in from Japan. Yuzuru Hanyu moved to the same club.

「ユヅルが加わることに、まったくためらいは感じませんでした。ニコライのところにいたときに、強い選手と一緒にトレーニングすることのメリットを十分に実感していましたから」

"I had no hesitation at all about having Yuzuru join us. When I was with Nikolai, I fully realized the benefits of training with strong athletes."

「ユヅルは本当にすごい選手ですよ。練習でも常に100％を出し切って、上達しつづけている。彼が五輪チャンピオンになる前から、彼は偉大なスケーターだと言ってきましたが、今も言い続けています」

"Yuzuru is a truly amazing player. He always gives 100% in practice and continues to improve. I have been saying he is a great skater even before he became an Olympic champion, and I continue to say so."

羽生が転倒すれば、ハビエルが飛んできて手を貸して起こす。そんな和気藹々として光景がリンクに見られた。

If Hanyu fell down, Javier would fly over to help him up. Such a harmonious scene could be seen at the rink.

「ユヅルはまだ英語を勉強中だけど、可能な限り僕たちは英語で話をしています。ウォームアップの最中に、ブライアンと３人でジョークを言い合うこともある。アスリートにとって、リンクがこういう快適な環境だと毎日来るのが楽しくなるし、上達も早くなる。それに、お互い見て学び合うこともできるんです」

"Yuzuru is still learning English, but whenever possible we speak English. During warm-ups, sometimes the three of us (and Brian) share jokes. For athletes, when the rink is a comfortable environment like this, it makes it more fun to come here every day and helps them improve faster. Plus, we can watch and learn from each other."

羽生がハビエルにアドバイスを求めることもあった。

Sometimes Hanyu would ask Javier for advice.

「不調な日には、『前日、君はこうやっていたけれど、今日はここがこうなっているよ』というように、気がついたことを言ってあげることもあります。逆に僕がイマイチな日には、ユヅルが『大丈夫、できるよ』と声をかけてくれたりもします」

"On a bad day, I might say something what I notice, 'This is what you did the day before, but this is how it is today' Conversely, on days when I am not doing well, Yuzuru will sometimes say to me, "Don't worry, you can do it. "

ソチ五輪、羽生結弦は金メダルに輝いた。ハビエルは４位。惜しくもメダルを逃した。

Javier's performance was right after Hanyu's. At that stage, Hanyu was the provisional leader. The rink was littered with countless gifts honoring Hanyu, and Javier was unable to break in his feet at all before the performance.

「同じことを昨シーズン、埼玉の世界選手権で経験しているから、ぜんぜん大丈夫でした」

"I had experienced the same thing last season at the World Championships in Saitama, so it was no problem at all."

十分に落ち着いていたハビエルは、４回転３本のうち２本を成功させた。電光掲示板は「１位」と表示した。羽生の連覇は阻まれた。同じチームメイトのハビエル・フェルナンデスによって。会見場にあらわれた羽生は意外にも明るい表情で、ハビエルの金メダルをねだる素振りさえ見せた。

Calm enough, Javier succeeded in two out of three quadruples. The electronic board displayed "1st place" . Hanyu's consecutive victory was thwarted. By his teammate, Javier Fernandez. Hanyu appeared at the press conference with a surprisingly cheerful expression on his face, and even made a gesture of begging for Javier's gold medal.

「絶対にユヅルが優勝だと思っていたからね。スペインにとって初の金メダルは夢だったけど、夢に過ぎないと思っていた。ユヅルが一緒に練習するようになったお陰で、僕の練習量が増えたんです」

“Because I definitely thought Yuzuru would win. Spain’s first gold medal was a dream. I thought it was just a dream. Thanks to Yuzuru starting practicing with me, the amount of practice I do has increased."

一方の羽生は、こう言った。

Hanyu on the other hand said:

「ハビエルがすごく練習していたということは、トロントの皆から聞いていました。これまでいつも一緒に試合をして、ハビエルは『おめでとう、ユヅルを誇りに思うよ』って言ってくれていました。でも今回は立場が逆になって、自分はそんなに心が広くないから悔しいし、次は勝ってやるとも思うけど、その反面、彼をチームメイトとして誇りに思うし、『仲間が優勝するのはこんなにも嬉しいものなんだな』と思いました」

"I had heard from everyone in Toronto that Javier had been practicing very hard. We have always played matches together and Javier would say, 'Congratulations, I am proud of you Yuzuru.' But this time our positions were reversed, and although I was frustrated because I am not so open-minded and I would win next time, on the other hand, I was proud of him as a teammate and thought, 'I'm so happy to see my friends win.'"

横にいたハビエルは、照れ隠しのように羽生の肩をもんだ。

「ですからティル様、今は俺のわがままをお許しください」パーンがティルを見つめた。 “So, Lord Tir, please grant me my selfish request.” Pahn said, gazing at him.

ティルもパーンを見つめ返した。 Tir stared back at him.

そうしている間にも、混戦の合間に兵の悲鳴があがる。 The battle had subsided temporarily, but at that moment the silence was broken by the scream of a soldier.

パーンの歩兵にも、疲れが出てきたようだった。 It seemed that Pahn’s soldiers were also beginning to tire.

乱れた部隊をちらりと見やって、パーンが叫ぶ。「さあティル様、早く！！」 “Now, Lord Tir!” shouted Pahn, sparing a glance for his unit, fallen into chaos. “Hurry!”

パーンの部隊が戻ってくることを信じ、五艘の船を湖畔に残してーー。 They left the shore in their five boats, believing that Pahn would come back to them.

「テオ様…」一歩前に歩み出て、パーンが言った。 Pahn took one step forward. “Lord Teo…”

配下の兵を全て失いながらも、未だ全身に闘志をみなぎらせるパーンに、 Despite losing all of his men, it was clear from his posture that Pahn was still ready and willing to fight.

テオは静かに言い放った。「パーン…、そこをどけ」 Teo spoke quietly but with firm authority. “Pahn. Do not try to stop us.”

また一歩、パーンがテオに歩み寄る。 Pahn took one more step toward Teo.

「それは、できません」 “I can’t do that.”

「私に逆らうのか？」 “You would disobey me?”

「テオ様…」テオを見据え、またもパーンは歩み出る。 Staring at Teo fixedly, Pahn took another step.

「私は帝国への忠義を貫き、一度はティル様を裏切りもしました。しかし、今は…。今の私は、自分が何をしたいのか、どう生きたいのかを知っています。知ってしまった以上、それを捨てるわけにはいきません」 “I already betrayed Lord Tir once because of my loyalty to the Empire. But now… now I understand better what I want—how I want to live my life. And now that I understand that, I can’t just go throwing it away.”

そしてパーンは、ぐっとテオを睨んだ。 He scowled deeply.

テオはその目を見て、彼が何を求めているのかを悟った。 Looking into his eyes, Teo understood what Pahn was getting at.

マントを翻し、テオが馬から降りる。 He let his cape drop and dismounted his horse.

「よかろう。お前と戦う日が来るとは思わなかったぞ」 “Very well. I never imagined the day would come when I would raise my sword against you, Pahn.”

「テオ様！」 “Lord Teo!”

突然赤いマントを翻し、テオの横から一人の将が飛び出そうとした。 One of Teo’s commanding officers suddenly threw off his own red cape and galloped over on his horse.

部下のアレンだった。 It was Alen.

「テオ様が戦うことはございません。私にお任せくだされば、あの男の首を取ってご覧に入れます」 “There is no need for you to fight this battle, Lord Teo. Just leave it to me and I’ll take this man’s head.”

「よせ、アレン」テオの言葉に、アレンが馬を止める。 “Enough, Alen,” barked Teo and Alen brought his horse to a halt.

「しかし、テオ様…」やはり飛び出そうとしていたグレンシールが言った。 Grenseal had, of course, jumped out to join them as well. “But, Lord Teo…”

「いいんだ、アレン、グレンシール。手を出すな」 “I said that’s enough, Alen, Grenseal. Stay your hand.”

テオがすらりと剣を抜く。 Teo drew his sword in one fluid movement.

パーンも鈎爪をかざして身構える。 Pahn adopted his fighting stance as well, his claws held out at the ready.

「いくぞ、真剣勝負だ」 “All right. No games. This is a real fight.”

「参ります、テオ様」 “Here I come, Lord Teo!”

血に染まった草を蹴り、パーンがテオに向かって跳躍した。 Pahn ran across the blood-soaked field and leapt straight at Teo.

テオもまた、血の臭いの漂う風に身を躍らせた。 Teo hurled himself into the wind that stank of blood.

“小高”

プロジェクションマッピングアニメーション2023/10/14

福島県南相馬市のアーティスト・イン・レジデンス「群青小高」に参加しました👏小高には2週間ほど滞在し、小高で見聞きした自然をアニメーションにしました。

小高には鳥、馬、蝶、植物、海などたくさんの生き物がいることに気づきました🐴🦋🪴それは私の故郷である福島県を思い出し、子供の頃を思い出しました。生活をするためには都会で暮らすのが便利ですが、自然とともに暮らすことも必要だと感じています。だから、小高では自然を重視するようになりました。

また、地元の人たちの多くは和室に住んでいます。多くの襖には自然をモチーフにした絵が描かれアニメーションを投影することを思いつきました❣️

小高では、数年前に避難が解除された後、人口がまだ少ないため、地域の人たちがイベントや交流場所を設けてコミュニケーションを取ろうとしているように見えました。いろいろな人に会いましたが、中には他県から来た人も多くいます。これからの大高町の発展が楽しみに思いながら、このアニメーションを制作しました。特に子供に喜んでもらえたのが嬉しかったです🧒

今回の制作で、支援と協力してくれた皆さん本当にありがとうございました✨

“Odaka”

projection mapping animation

2023/10/14

I joined “Gunjo Odaka” which is the artist in residency in Minamisoma, Fukushima👏 I stayed in Odaka for about 2 weeks.

I made an animation about nature which I saw and listened in Odaka.

I realised many living things such as birds, horse, butterflies, plants, and sea in Odaka🐴🦋🪴 It reminds me of my hometown in Fukushima prefecture, and made me feel my childhoods. I’ve recently become aware of the importance of striking the balance between development of the city and nature. For making a living, I feel I need to live in the city because of conveniences, but also to live with nature. So I became to focus on nature in Odaka.

In addition, local people usually live in Japanese style rooms.

I came up with projecting my animation to the Japanese sliding door which is called “Fusuma” in a room because the sliding doors are often painted with nature motifs❣️

In Odaka, it seems people try to communicate with others because the population is still small since the evacuation was lifted several years ago. I met many people and some of them are from other prefectures. I look forward to the future development of Odaka.
