It Makes More Sense For Bakugou to be a Jinchuriki in a Naruto AU
So, I was thinking about what a Naruto AU of My Hero Academia. While doing this, I realized it made more sense for Bakugou to be Kurama's Jinchuriki over Midoriya if they're from Konoha.
Hear me out on this. It does make sense to be a Jinchuriki due to him being the ninth holder of One For All and how he was treated growing up in canon. But his overall story fits better with characters like Rock Lee or Sakura in Naruto. Plus, making the Jinchuriki the former One For All users may mean All Might isn't his mentor unless Konoha has two Jinchuriki.
Bakugou, on the other hand, I feel makes more sense due to the nature of his character. We could easily label his overly aggressive personality as a way to cope with being hated by all the villagers. Plus, a big part of his character is being talented. Naruto displayed great skill after graduating from the academy. Then, Kurama being in Bakugou could boost his fire element by a high degree. He could even get something like Scorch Release or Lava Release. Not to mention how he wants to be the best, similar to Naruto.
That's why I think being a Kyuubi Jinchuriki fits Bakugou better.

Breaking up my nonstop MHA art for Naruto rewrite AU thoughts. Because I have,, many of those lol.
So many, in fact, I’ve basically got two vague rewrite AUs
The first collection of ideas is the “things I would tweak without changing the entire plot” category. Which is as follows;
Madara is the actual final boss. None of this Kuyuga and White Zetsu stuff
Sakura gets to be cool and actually participate in the Plot.
She also doesn’t love Sasuke, she just recognizes he’s a lonely kid and is trying to be his friend.
Sasuke is okay with this actually, and likes her company.
Also Hinata gets the be cool too
Everyone gets to be cool in Shippuden actually. Because Kishimoto may have forgotten about them, but I sure didn’t XD
No! Love confessions! The kids’ll sort that out after the war lol. They’re a bit busy not dying right now to worry about love
And Naruto is ginger. Like his mom <3
Neji lives. Because his death was stupid and I refuse to accept it lol
The then there’s the “sweeping changes” category. Which is exactly what it sounds like lol. It contains all the above thoughts, plus;
The Akatsuki are the actual final bosses. The plot focuses on rounding them up one by one before taking out Madara. The war is low key avoided entirely
Naruto is a girl! She’s still called Naruto, but she’s the spitting image of her mom instead of her dad. To carry on that thing where it’s Uzumaki women who carry Nine-Tails
End game ships are completely, wildly different lol. In accordance with my personal tastes. Lee and Sakura would end up together (post-plot. Still no confessions happening during the plot), the others are up in the air XD
Also there’s a strong possibility Rin, Zazuba, and Haku all live. Rin because I think Naruto should have a positive jinchuriki influence in his life (other than Killer Bee). And Zazuba and Haku because I like them and I want them to be happy
The plot also returns to the Land of Waves at some point. Because I think It’s cool
Sakura also potentially awakens some sort of transformation based justu because I wanna see her transform like her teammates. She deserves it okay XD

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.
Naruto/Gaara. I get why people like it, and if you like it, that's cool. You do you. But I just can't.
Every time I try, my brain does this:
P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).
AU where Obito revives everyone during the Fourth Shinobi War. (Not just those that had fallen during the War - everyone revived during the Edo Tensei too)
Can you imagine the fallout from that? There would be joy in being reunited with loved ones (Tenten with Neji and Yugao with Hayate for example), but also heartache - what if someone's spouse had moved on? Would young kids, now grown, recognize their revived parents or be afraid? What about the political implications of Kages being revived? Not to mention the jinchuriki - what happens to them now?
That's an interesting AU that I would love to see explored.
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
Kiba has feelings for Hinata.
Kankuro is bisexual and loves to party.
Rock Lee is a fantastic cook.

How much money do I have to pay for any form of writing on a shikamaru jinchuriki au
No money at all, my good dude. Here! How about the classic introduction scene of the Squad meaning their Jonin Sensei? It took a while, but I like how it turned out and hope you do too!
And just a note, since there's a lot of swaps, many (but not all) characters will be part of different clans. I'll make a post of the swaps later.

His team. His team is an equal balance between an absolute disaster and a dream come true!
On one hand, he has a better chance at befriending Chouji now. If only the boy will look past his ingrained prejudices and see Shikamaru for who he is -- just a chill guy who wants to be friends. Damn all the adults in the village for deciding that just because the Kyuubi was inside of him, he himself was to be treated as that beast. (Honestly, he'd learned that fact very recently.)
Sure, Shikamaru may go out of his way to act out from time to time, but they're all for a good cause! People just just tend to look at his art and call it "illegal" and "vandalism of public property."
Truly, it was a mistake on his part. Next time, he won't paint his artworks on the Hokage Monument. Or he'll at the very least use paint that cleans away with water. He wasted hours cleaning that up while Mikoto-sensei sat with him to make sure he got every last bit of it. It was so… troublesome.
His other teammate is -- for lack of a better term -- a total bitch. Hanabi. He doesn't care what sort of trauma she's gone through. A tragic backstory doesn't mean she can go around manipulating her fanclub into doing dangerous stunts for her amusement or making them buy her snacks on a whim! Why does nobody else ever do anything about her?
Shikamaru himself just prefers to stay out of her way as much as possible. Though he does intervene when it comes to Chouji. He can't stand how often others take advantage of the boy's friendly nature. And Hanabi truly finds some sick pleasure in seeing the others around her do her bidding, no matter how outrageous. He can't let that happen to Chouji.
So Shikamaru has his long-awaited Genin Squad of the person he likes the least and the person he likes the most.
It's been one hour now after everyone else's Jonin Sensei have come to retrieve them, and their Squad -- Squad 7! -- is all that remains. If Shikamaru knew their Sensei was going to be late, he would've went straight for a nap. He stayed up all last night.
"Our Sensei still isn't here," Shikamaru sighs finally, breaking the silence. "I can't sleep because they couldn't be here any minute."
Chouji looks up as if curious when Shikamaru stands up. Confidence thoroughly boosted by the attention, Shikamaru strides down a couple steps to the chalkboard and begins on making his newest artwork.
And by the finish of Shikamaru's interpretation of an improved Konoha, their Sensei is still missing. Two hours late now. And pettiness boils in his heart as he picks up the chalk eraser. He knows it won't work. He knows! But on the off chance that maybe it will, Shikamaru places the chalk eraser in the space between the sliding door and the door frame.
"Shikamaru, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Chouji asks in disbelief. "That's our Sensei! You can't just do that! They'll hate us for sure if that's what you do."
Shikamaru is temporarily conflicted. Give in and remove the eraser for the sake of preserving the very small relationship he'd gotten between himself and Chouji? Or does he keep it to satiate his pettiness powered by a need for vengeance against their Sensei?
"Agh! Fine, I--"
Before he can even finish his sentence, the door slides open and reveals a… very distinct man, to say the least. And he now has chalk dust all over his head.
"My first impression of you in that you're very unyouthful!" the man exclaims. "One of out five stars! Would not recommend!"
All three of them cringe in unison at hearing the man say such a thing. Is this guy really a Jonin? And a good enough one to train Genin? Shikamaru, in that moment, has his doubts. Surely this is a joke, and their real Sensei will walk in any moment now.
"See Shikamaru!" Chouji exclaims in distress. "I told you you shouldn't have done that!"
Shikamaru just sighs. Damn his faulty impulse control.
"Okay! You three, meet me on the roof!" the man -- presumably their Jonin Sensei -- orders them before disappearing in the blink of an eye.

"Okay, let's do introductions," their Sensei says.
"Introductions?" Chouji asks warily. "Like what?"
"Yeah," Shikamaru points out. "We could use an example, so why don't you go first?"
"Great idea! I am the very youthful Maito Gai! I like youthfulness and I dislike unyouthfulness!"
Shikamaru can't help but mostly zone that out. Youth this, youth that. What the hell is this guy even saying? But he thinks he's getting the general idea of what Gai-sensei wants from them.
"And finally my dream is…," he trails off as if lost in a very heartfelt memory, which is frankly a little concerning. Should Shikamaru go to the Hokage and petition for a new Sensei now?
"Anyways, just like that!" Gai-sensei says. "Now, you first, with the ponytail."
"Uzumaki Shikamaru," Shikamaru introduces. "I like napping, I guess? I don't like…"
He doesn't like Hanabi, but he doesn't want to make himself a target for her. He doesn't like the people in the village who give him those looks, but he doesn't want to get into that. Maybe he should just skip that, say he doesn't particularly dislike anything. Yeah.
"…I don't really dislike anything specifically," Shikamaru continues. "Hobbies? I'm good at art, I guess. And my dream… Hokage."
The Hokage because if he's Hokage, he can make some much needed changes. Such as fixing that lacking education system. He gets a headache every time he hears someone call the Byakugan a "Sharingan". Definitely fix the education system.
"Nice! Now you!" Gai-sensei points to Chouji.
"I'm Haruno Chouji," the boy says softly. "What I like most is… uh, barbeque. I like barbeque! And my hobby is rating different restaurants around the village. And my dream…"
Chouji glances over to Hanabi with a smile. Shikamaru isn't even sure if she's paying attention. Of course, Chouji's dream would be to finally hook up with Hanabi. Shikamaru wishes he could show Chouji what a demon she actually is.
"And what do you hate?" Gai asks.
"I hate how Shikamaru won't even give Hanabi a chance!" Chouji exclaims. Ouch! Does Chouji think Shikamaru is being unfair to her? He isn't! She actually is a terrible girl. He spend a few months trying to be nice to her after he heard about the incident, but she just doesn't care. All she wants is to see the world suffer and burn. He just knows it.
"Right…," Gai-sensei says as if a bit uncomfortable. "And our last person?"
"My name is Hyuuga Hanabi," she says, emphasizing her name to prove some unknown point. "Likes, dislikes. I'm sure you'd like to know."
He can just hear her calling them plebeians and pissants in the undertones of how she speaks. And Shikamaru wonders how she's gotten through life this far without anyone else getting pissed at her with the way she talks.
"My hobbies," Hanabi says and chuckles darkly. Shikamaru doesn't want to know what that's supposed to mean.
"And my end goal?" Hanabi leaps to her feet and slams a fist against her chest. "I will murder the one I hate most, once and for all!"
Shikamaru shivers and scoots as far away from her as possible. What the hell is her problem? Does she really have no life outside of… whatever hellhole she's trapped herself in? She has too many problems and not enough therapy.
Shikamaru makes a mental note to add that to the list of things that will have to change when he is Hokage.
"Okay then," Gai-sensei says with a nod, now looking a bit more serious. "Now that we're done with our… very passionate introductions, I must tell you about the test tomorrow."
"A test?" Chouji asks and Shikamaru can't help but share the sentiment.
"Yeah, what kind of test?" Shikamaru questions warily.
"It's a survival test," Gai-sensei says, "and your opponent will be me! Prepare for tomorrow -- anything is fair game! -- but you can't eat breakfast because you'll just puke it all back up! Be at Training Ground 3 at dawn! See you then!"
Before anyone can ask any further questions, Gai-sensei is gone, leaving his three students blinking in his dust. That was… very quick.
Nonetheless, Shikamaru will be heading home and start on his petition for a new, more suitable Jonin Sensei for the three of them. It will take some time though. And some reading up on Konoha Law. What a drag.

How do you think Rock Lee and the rest of Team Gai & Kakashi, would react to some of your Gai aus? Like Jinchuriki Gai, Akatsuki Gai, that one phoenix gai au u had awhile ago, God of Storms gai, TMS gai, modern au Gai, highschool modern au Gai, etc.
Kakashi would be thankful that he has the Gai that he has. While there are upsides to a person being a Jinchuriki (Like the healing abilities) he likes his Rival the way that he is. He certainly doesn't want a Rival who has joined the Akatsuki because that means he has to fight him, and the Phoenix Gai is beautiful but just not the same. Modern Gai is just...Kakashi likes his ass kicker. He wants to keep his ass kicker please XD
Lee loves all of the different versions of his Sensei, except the Akatsuki one. He doesn't understand how his Sensei could have chosen to take such a path, and he really wants nothing to do with such an angry, bitter version of the man he knows. High school and modern Gai though? He's loving this twist on his sensei. Still the same energetic supportive goof ball, but with different knowledge.
Neji thinks they're all interesting in their own way and would like to learn more about them. He's certain he can learn something from each of them, even the Akatsuki Gai.
Tenten is just embarrassed. It was bad enough when she had one hyper active in your face Sensei, but now there's multiple of him and she really doesn't know how she's going to handle it.

An Au where Sasori and Gaara, Temari and Kankuro are cousins, Rasa want to kill Gaara bc of the bijuu but Yashamaru doesn’t want to lost the last piece of his sister so he says that to Sasori (He still was a Suna’s shinobi) that before to defect the village took Gaara with him.
Gaara in that period is 5 y/o, Temari is 10 y/o and Kankuro is 9 y/o.

Gaara is trans (ftm) but his father found the idea of a female jinchuriki uneccetable so he always called Gaara his son and Gaara was ok with that so he was always known as the second son of Rasa.
Gaara doesn’t have a gourd but a spear of sand (the one in the anime):
The kanji is the bijuu seal and one of his eyes is like the Shukaku one bc they live in harmony.

I'm just gonna leave this here in case yall think I'm bluffing about the Twilight 1D Naruto Band Battle AU
In 8th grade I wrote a fanfic that was One Direction/Naruto/Twilight crossover, but very loosely One Direction. It starts with an OC female running into Niall in a starbucks. Like literally running into him. Hot coffee spills on them both and they try to clean it up at the same time. They touch hands and she is transported to the Naruto Universe. What is OC's name? Why of course, she is named Renesmee, after Renesmee Cullen who I was obsessed with. Keep the Jacob & Renesmee ship in mind, it'll be important later.
Renesmee wakes up at Ichiraku and meets Naruto, and realizes that he is actually Niall Horan, he just doesn't know about his musical talent or that he is Niall Horan. So, she convinces him to start a band. Sasuke sings, Neji is on the keyboard, Rock Lee is an insert for Louis(bc at the time I thought they were both ugly and annoying lol) and is the bassist, and Naruto plays the drums. They call themselves....North. because when Renesme suggested the name "one direction" they thought she meant to pick a cardinal direction and make that the name. Then there is a love triangle between Renesme, Naruniall, and Sasuke that lasts one page of dialogue of them both saying versions of "I love you you're so cute, marry me" trying to out-do the other.
Renesmee chooses Naruto even though she and Sasuke had already kissed, so Sasuke leaves the band and signs a record deal with Orochimaru instead. Shikamaru replaces Sasuke(???). Orochimaru, CEO of Hidden Sound Records, makes Sasuke the lead of a band called Taka. Sasuke hates the members and the music and misses North but he is Sasuke so won't go back. Renesmee sneaks out to a Taka concert in a small village to see Sasuke because she's a thirsty ass hoe. Itachi's band, Akatsuki, is playing a set before Taka.
Akatsuki is made up of Itachi, Kisame, Hidan, and Pain, and they are an emo rock band. At the club(?) Hidan starts flirting with Renesmee, trying to get her to drink and then lures her to the backroom intending to sacrifice her to Jashin. Itachi saves her and tells Hidan he is 'getting too into the music', whatever that means. Sasuke hears about everything and is furious. Before raging, he stops to kiss Renesmee and tell her he loves her. Then, because it is Sasuke, he kills Itachi. Not Hidan, the attempted murderer, but Itachi, since Itachi did kill his entire family. After that Sasuke leaves Taka and steals Itachi's band, basically.
I should mention that during all of this, Renesmee and Sakura are fighting over Sasuke, and Renesmee and Hinata over Naruto. They never use jutsu, they just glare at eachother in public. I only gave Renesmee one jutsu at first: Ketsu no Jutsu. Think blood bending and then don't think of anything else because I just stole it from ATLA.
Meanwhile, North and Akatsuki have a band battle, and Kisame uses his guitar Samehada to steal not just chakra, but musical talent. Kind of like the basketball in Space Jam. This is when we learn a major plot twist. Naruto is the Niall Horan jinchuriki. Yep. Sasuke isn't a music jinchuriki though, he is just naturally gifted. When they find out about Naruniall, Akatsuki unseals Niall and steals the Niall chakra, causing Naruto to look and act like canon Naruto. This means that Renesmee's british boyfriend is gone, basically dead. It is very traumatic, so Renesmee awakens her Mangekyou Sharingan. Like she just skips all the steps and goes straight to Mangekyou even though she never had normal sharingan. This is all thanks to the fact that her mom, Bella Swan, was Madara Uchiha's duaghter. How? Why? I don't know, because I never explained. So anyways, now Renesmee lost both of her boyfriends since she is related to Sasuke and they can't kiss anymore.
The final scene is Renesmee running into a dog in the forest. Akamaru is the dog. Kiba, who she has somehow never met during all of this, comes running over to get Akamaru. They look at eachother and instantly know they are soulmates because Kiba is Jacob riencarnated. It ends with them staring into eachother's eyes.
It still keeps me up at night.
