Why is this?
What is so great about Japan?
It is a tiny island with only one mountain of note. Surely there are better countries with many truly breathtaking summits and rich cultural and spiritual practices unlike any on earth!
We understand Japan is highly valued for it: "Anime" but there are other countries who also produce highly acclaimed shows well worth your while.
We firstly demand and explanation dor your strange taste.
Secondly we highly recommend you broaden your horizons. Look further inland, to higher ground!
Perhaps asks your fellow Prosecutors about other cultures of note. Enlightened individuals to help guild you to a 'higher' existance.

Firstly, I am not 'obsessed', I am appreciative of my own culture. In this busy world it is easy to lose ones identity if you do not give it heed.
Secondly, you will refrain from referring to me in that phrasing. I know where you picked it up, and I sincerely hope he swallows a butterfly and chokes.
Thirdly, the "only one mountain" is an active volcano of great beauty. Besides that, there are 12955 named mountains in the country, to speak nothing of the unnamed. So if your largest complaint is that it is too flat, then do not blame me for being misinformed, a Google search would have corrected you. The summits are gorgeous, and the cherry blossoms are unparalleled. If you can not appreciate it's natural beauty, then you are, indeed, uncultured. I recommend visiting, provided you are capable of respecting those you interact with who do not share your views.
Fourth, the history of Japan is long and rich, and while it would be untrue to claim it blameless, no nation has a clean history. That is the nature of man. A study of history would indeed do you good, especially on disillusioning you on what impact a small island nation can have on world history, not to mention the future, as it is the most advanced nation from a technological standpoint. And, it has done so without forgetting its culture, or its many shrines.
Fifth, I am well aware of other shows, produced outside of Japan. Steel Samurai was a personal favorite of mine during it's run, and it was made in LA. Besides that, I am partial to westerns. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is quite good, if you must know.
Lastly, I suppose learning about my coworkers cultures would not harm me. Germany has had a large impact on the world stage, it would do me good to learn about it. I commend the suggestion, and will speak to Von Karma-dono about it. Thank you.

Hugo Boss did a design competition to celebrate their partnership with McLaren and different artists made different designs for the Quali days. They're so beautiful 🥹🥹 Why can't they do anything fun like that now???? I digress, I went through all the Qualis and compiled pics of all of them!!

i cant really make this into a poll actually cause theres so many possible answers but i am sooo interested in people and where they are from like ancestrally. but theres no way to ask someone like "where are you from" without sounding racist as hell . but anyway do you know where your ancestors are from and have you been there??? how connected are you to that culture? do you want to learn more?

#smokey talks#inro#japan#antiques#ive never seen this particular one online but generally speaking finding a bone inro costs like $200 minimum for modern reproductions#antique ones depending on the time period can fetch enough to buy a house#this one is almost definitely modern but it appears to be handmade to my untrained eye anyway#if anyone can find info on this inro pls lemme know!#i found similar ones at online antique retailers claiming to be 19th century and those dont include netsuke or a cord#but the cord on mine is definitely a modern nylon of some kind so it mustve been added by its last owner if the antique sites r correct#regardless im ecstatic to have this!#the website i found the others on are charging €200 i got this for $40 USD

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!
Okay, for context, this does not have anything to do with a prank war. Oh no. This has everything to do with Vergil.
My beloved uncle, who has a fascination with all things historical and demonic has found some of Grandpa's old books. There are things in these old books that none of us even knew about. Like for instance, he fought in some of the most famous battles in history. Mostly because there were demons among the ranks of the 'bad guys'.
Dracula is involved in this as well. By Dracula, I mean Vlad Tepes. The actual guy who impaled a bunch of people and fought against Mehmed. Yeah, the only reason Vlad lost was because he made a deal with a demon, not Grandpa, but another one. Grandpa got involved because, well, demons. Anyway, cool stuff that I'm sure will be out in the open at some point.
Other than that, I'm being dragged off to Japan when finals are over. Why? Because Vergil said so, and Dad isn't complaining about it. Oh, and Nero is going with us too. Something to do with a lucrative job in Kyoto. Vergil doesn't pass up any opportunity to go to Japan. I figure I'm going as a buffer for the two. I have no idea.
I just hope we aren't there too long. 😔

the absolutely disgusting feeling in my stomach from scrolling through someone's profile full of AI images is insane I thought I was too autistic for that level of feeling. if you have the ability to shit out 20+ very aesthetically pleasing "watercolor inspired fantasy art" pictures in one day you're sick and twisted and I actually want you to get hit in the ankle with a scooter. I hope your water spills on you next time you go to take a drink. you're avoiding being human.
