'In the Tall Grass' be like
Grass is evil y'all. You'll get your nine lives by touching the moon rock. Here is a disgusting, gory scene of baby cannibalism that is only there to be shocking, because it gets erased from time anyway. Is the baby daddy in the grass or outside the grass? Preachers are annoying. Mow your lawn. The end.

I was asked recently why I disliked yashahime. It made me list many many reasons. Most important being the ruining of Inuyashas perfect ending.
To clarify, I don't have strong opinions on SessRin. Mainly because it was not portrayed as romantic in Inuyasha, and ended with rin being raised by Kaede. I do have a problem with how it was portrayed though.
If Rin was going to be romantically involved with Seshomaru, any kids they had should have been significantly younger than kagome and inuyashas kids.
Flashbacks of their relationship changing should have also been present. You can't just have a man become involved with someone he took care of as a child without massive change.
Rin should have plenty of development of said change. She should be expanded upon in a way that she feels like the same character grown up. This is a young girl who was consistently compared to Kagome, who no doubt was cared for by Kagome, and your going to tell me she's just a helpless damsel that had to be sealed in a tree? Sorry no.
Even with that, I still am not fond of SessRin. I think it's a weird ship tbh.
Also Kagome and Imuyasha allowing themselves to be trapped for over a decade was stupid. Sango and Miroku would have saved them if they didn't manage to escape by themselves.
The idea that Koga would raise the inukag kid is stupid. Sango and Miroku would raise the inukag kid. Period.
The sacred jewel prophecy thing was stupid
In no way would Seshomaru ever not just kill someone he deemed a threat.
Point being, sequels that try to exist by ruining characters from the existing show bug me.

the premise of cw’s gotham kinghts is so cringe. it’s like when you don’t get the rights to batman but can use all the d-listed characters to make up your team and its still feels like a really bad money grab. it centers around bruce wayne’s son, but none of the og batfam. no dick, no jason, no tim, no barb, no damian, no cass, no duke. just steph and she’s not even the main character. it some guy named turner

another thing i hate about s4 and a TEENSY bit about s3 is the over reliance on loud noises/jumpscares/blatant gore/shock value when s1 was so good from a horror aspect. it took a fantasy concept and managed to still ground it enough in reality that it made you scared for the characters because it felt like it could almost be a real situation and it had a lot of real world scary things (missing child, corrupt governments, whatever etc) and didnt need to rely on showing you the same clip of dead bloody children with a loud abrupt noise 30 times to drill into your head that you're supposed to be Scared right now
