anyway, let’s talk about her!!

taking the fact that ribbon’s name is ribbon entirely too far (and going off their designs) i think it’d be cool if ripple star fashions leaned into frills, bows, and long or exaggerated silhouettes

since the planet is literally just a heart shape i imagine their aesthetics lean into that sort of romantic and elegant vibe. a lot of ivory, pinks, and reds

(ripple dresses up a little different to see her friends tho)

also flower and butterfly motifs. because they’re fairies of course <3

think it’d be a little ironic if butterflies were a symbol of beauty and all that…

also she’s friends with carol and dedede. they can go to pta meetings or something /j

(taranza can come sometimes too because he’s cool and it makes sense to me)

btw ripple star probably exports a lot of silks (because silkworms in a land of butterflies feels right) and luxury items whereas dreamland is more agriculture focused + maybe some livestock and furs

…yeah i’m saying these places reflect their rulers basically. ripple star can be a little more traditional and whatnot. that’s what makes ripple so endeared to her dreamland friends—they’re silly! and yeah, tragic princess angle, it’s my favorite trope—i think that would really pull at her heart

i won’t get into that right now, but i gotta imagine getting possessed gives you a lot to think about lol

WIP Wednesday #19

A glimpse at Chuuya's birthday fic~

Chuuya paused in the doorway to the kitchen, all of his aggressive plans forgotten the moment he took in the scene before him.

The kitchen looked like a fucking nightmare. Dirty bowls covered most of the counter, their contents sticky and unrecognizable. Utensils dripping with pale white batter cluttered his sink, and beside the sink sat his stand mixer, which appeared to have fought a brutal battle and now wore the rich burgundy colors of its defeated enemy.

And deposited on nearly every conceivable surface were cupcakes. At least two dozen of them, all at various levels of doneness. Some looked soupy in the center, nearly ready to spill out of their midnight blue cupcake sleeves. Others appeared too done, dry and crumbly and dark on the top.

Then there was Dazai.

Dazai Osamu, ex-mafia, former Demon Prodigy, one half of Soukoku. A man of many masks, multiple layers of cunning bullshit, and effortless manipulation—

Who had his hair pushed out of his face with a soft pink makeup headband. One of the ones Chuuya had bought to help with his skincare routine, from the looks of it. It had a thick, poofy bow in the middle that Dazai’s fluffy hair curled around, artful in its dishevelment. He looked both silly and pretty as he bent over the counter in front of a single cupcake, possibly the only one that had come out baked well.

Chuuya watched him for a moment, mesmerized, and couldn’t decide if he should feel blessed to see such a dangerous man caught in this moment of intense, adorable focus or if he should feel unlucky because all of this mayhem had happened in his own goddamn kitchen. But the moment Dazai’s tongue poked out between his lips as he worked diligently to place the prettiest swirl of burgundy icing atop the cupcake, Chuuya decided he felt both.

“The hell are you doing?”

Why do I get the feeling the whole "Young Bucks reveal unreleased footage from All In Wembly" isn't going to be the Punk stuff we all think it is, but a BTE skit on CCTV or something explaining how they went from not getting the Wendy's/Chilli's contracts and having to sell off BTE to arriving in private jets and nice suits every show.

Just a gut feeling.

I also read and crafted and got a lil wine drunk at a party for my aunt's bday + end of her chemo treatments and it's like??? Maybe sometimes things are good and I can spend a few hours without wanting to murder my family and without them saying something egregiously offensive or hurtful and it can be a decent conclusion to a weirdly emotional but kinda healing week?? Or at least. Peaceful? Tentatively????

WIP Wednesday (3/20) | Mafia Front Restaurant AU (Part 114)

“I wish you could transfer to New York,” Kevin whispers, dropping his head onto Jean’s shoulder.

“Me too, mon cher. Hopefully soon.” Jean says against his hair. He’s content there, with one arm around Kevin, until the door starts to creak open. Jean's alert immediately, but freezes when he realizes where he is.

“Everything okay?” asks Neil as he pokes his head in. “I couldn’t hear any arguing so I thought I would make sure you hadn’t killed each other.”

“You should be more careful, you could’ve walked in on something totally different,” Jean says, sliding his hand from Kevin's shoulder to his waist.

Neil scoffs. "I knew it wasn't that. I didn't hear... anything."

Jean feels his lip curl up at that but Kevin looks a bit embarrassed. "Am I seriously that loud?"

“Yes. You could wake the dead, Kev.” Neil answers. Jean suppresses a laugh. He wonders what would happen if he fucked Kevin in a cemetery. Oh. There's something he'd never considered before. Public sex, huh.

Kevin drops his head into his hands. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it," Neil shrugs, coming to sit down opposite of Jean at the foot of the bed. He gives them both a look, “Are we okay?”

That being said, it would have been very much in line with Addams Family media to have Laurel Gates be the most antagonistic mother-in-law ever who hates her son’s girl’s family to the point of continual attempted murder and the Addams are like “oh a necromancer and murderer? Our kind of lady! And your son also dabbles in killing? A great match for our Wednesday”

Sometimes I wish I would like put on an outfit or be in a scenario or hear a pronoun and think to myself oh yeah THAT'S the right one like it seems like other people are feeling this sense of self I just don't have. I kind of just feel out of place no matter where I am or what I wear or how I present myself, not really in a bad way, just like, I'm a tourist here (everywhere)
