Hello Internet Stranger looking up G Gundam on Tumblr dot com!
This is an idea for a fic set in an Alternate Universe involving Queer Non-Canon Relationships between the characters of the series.
If you are not looking for this content please scroll on.
If you ARE looking for this content - and you're ok with reading my and other's Headcanons for this Alternate Universe I've haphazardly spun up -

--------------------------------------
Ended up outlining a completely different fic as a Segway for an explanation instead of making progress on the Royal Flush Haunted Honk AU's Clown Motel Fic like I wanted to but uh....
For y'all's review for the AU: A Prequel Outline - Divorce Saga Domon
--------------------------------------
Hey real quick - I'm thinking of maybe changing the timeline to 2 years post canon as opposed to 3 years and change post canon.
The reason being: I had a thought that this scene could either be part if the fic or if it's getting to big then it could be a stand alone tie-in prequel fic as part of this AU but - like
Immediately Post Divorce Domon Needs Space and runs off. As one does. And he runs to Earth because he just wants to Get Lost for a while.
He has Argo smuggle him out to avoid detection.
Argo has Andrew help stow Domon in a storage hanger of a Neo Canadian supply ship that's returning to the US - they have trade often enough and share agricultural resources - which leads to Domon ending up in New York when he hits Earthside pavement.
He's privately worked on his English the last couple of months and after being dropped in New York with a different hairstyle, outfit, and accent he's unrecognizable.
He considers making his way west to get some solitude in the wilderness, but something about that initial plan feels off now that he's on the ground.
Chibodee is also Earthside for a special series of prize fights aimed at raising charitable appeal for the US in the eyes of Neo Americans.
Domon decides to hit up Chibodee for a fight on a day between matches hoping it'll clear his head and give him the clarity to decide on a course of action. What ends up happening is an unexpected heart to heart via blows and a breakdown.
Domon is happy for Rain and Kyoji, and he knows it's not true; but he feels like he lost a piece of himself when his relationship with Rain fell apart.
Domon's instinct is to run after that but Chibodee knows this city and Domon doesn't hide out for long before Chibodee drags him back to his place to stay and just "Chill out and breathe. You don't have to be anyone but yourself here. You can take as long as you need to find out what everything changing means for you." Friends and teammates stick together.
So Domon spends a few weeks with Chibodee sparring and hanging out in New York. Chibodee does a frankly awesome job at containing his feelings because he's focusing on Domons feelings and being a good friend first and foremost. Whatever he's feeling can wait until after Domon is done going though it.
There's a bit of a twinge in Domon's heart as he leaves that he can't really place.
After he returns to Neo Japan and gets settled back into life with his family, The Dreams start.
They're mainly set in New York. Small things first like noticing Chibodee's smile and his eyes. Then sparring sessions that begin to turn lurid.
He thought these kinds of dreams would stop after he was married.... he doesn't know what to do about this.
I just figure it gives more clarity and sense of time for the journey from Comphet Marriage Dissolution to Feelings to Confession. Idk.
But I got stuck on a bit and then had this thought and needed to get it down before I lost it and it was so long it made sense to make it its own post as opposed to several replies.
The Maize and Clown Motel will probably still be 3 years and change post canon for clarification.

Did I have life-changing sex and then have my partner curl into me and sneeze over half a dozen times this morning?
Yes. Yes I did 🫣

I’m curious!!! Have you played hsr at all?
for a couple months actually!!! i thought it was pretty okay as far as my extremely low standards go, but for some reason, i just,,, didn't have a good time with it. a lot of the appeal of genshin for me is, like, the player's total and untampered ability to fuck around at any and all times, and until honkai gives me the ability to scramble up walls and snipe monsters i know i'm not at a high enough level for from 5000 feet away, i will not be satisfied.

Kim and Chay are dating. Chay doesn't know about the mafia, but they're happy and everything is peaceful, Kim had never felt so happy before being with Chay. Everything felt so easy, but he couldn't bring himself to tell Chay about his background.
One day, Porsche and Chay find out Porsche has a heart condition, and they can't afford his surgery or medication. With Porsche so weak, he can't work anymore, so it all falls onto Chay.
So Chay starts pushing Kim away, not wanting to get Kim into trouble or danger and taking illegal jobs to pay for the surgery and medication. Chay is hurting himself every time he tells Kim he doesn't want to be together anymore.
But he refuses to tell Kim the reason why, knowing that Kim would do everything he could like giving Chay money, which Chay couldn't bring himself to accept, to try and help.
Kim is hurt that chay would push him away but he ultimately feels that if this is what Chay really wants he would never try to cage him or force Chay to be with him when he's been keeping secrets from Chay the whole time.
During one of his duties of watching over a drug deal, he sees chay is the one dropping off the drugs.
(Kim is just in the back making sure everything goes right he's not in Chays' line of sight.)

i've seen a few comments before (not on here, just in the past on other sites) frustrated and confused about why the oldest dream never talked to yoo joonghyuk. or anyone for that matter. why couldn't he just say something, anything at all? did he feel nothing as they suffered? couldn't he have helped somehow?
and there's a lot i could say about this and a lot of various layers and details and perspectives. but in the end it all comes down to this:
not a single one of us can talk to the characters in a book we're reading.
that's just how it works.

so anyway idk how i feel about the new new who stuff, i mostly enjoyed ten'n'donna back in 2008 but i must admit that the years since then have not been enhanced for me by people clinging to the rtd era and slagging off everything after it and i didn't even vibe that well with the rtd era generally so doing it AGAIN didn't really appeal even before it was the same cast as in his most successful season. and i think fandom's far too in love with multi-doctor stories and such in anniversary years but it does seem a bit weird that we're doing 2008 again and seemingly nothing else, and i am more interested in whatever gatwa is going to be doing but being as i am i'll probably end up seeing the new stuff and enjoying it on some level but even knowing that i am still just not feeling very enthused, u kno?

dustindirk yuri???
AHHAHHAH i still need to find clothes i like for them. specifically some more baggy butch tops for dustin... im pretty sure conversions exist of those baggy shirts that they wear in their original form but for now she's in a tank top because that bar doesn't have AC
dustin (names subject to change) is the other half of the "turning streets into a racetrack crew". she acts like a tough bitch but she's actually sensitive and a little dorky. her gf is a lot more shy than she pretends to be. they're like the world's biggest bags of hot air. but they don't have to put up any fronts when they're alone which is so cute...
i'm also still finding a particular niche for dirk. sorta grungy punky gothy femme-ish and i need more cc jewelry to really get that through. and nails for everyone in general. and more tattoo overlays. they are a trashy couple but they're genuinely in love so much. ride or die. whatever i'm normal
if that bar wasn't an empty shell for photo purposes they'd get kicked out. handsiest couple at any event they're at ever get OFF of that nasty dive bar you're getting grease on it

so-called doomerists when "If you want to imagine the future, imagine a boy and his dog and his friends. And a summer that never ends. And if you want to imagine the future, imagine a boot... no, imagine a sneaker, laces trailing, kicking a pebble; imagine a stick, to poke at interesting things, and throw for a dog that may or may not decide to retrieve it; imagine a tuneless whistle, pounding some luckless popular song into insensibility; imagine a figure, half angel, half devil, all human... Slouching hopefully towards Tadfield. ...for ever."

To me da2 is deeply centrist the way victims are punished in a vitriolic and morbid way while characters like Aveline and Cullen are unopposedly good. If you see it as leftist media that's because it does present clearly leftist characters but it won't waste time in putting them in the most cruel and humiliating situations or throw them against characters who should have a more benevolent opinion of each other for the sake of "banter". There's still people in the fandom who think Anders is the absolute worst when the very same game has the templars growing a slave ring of lobotomized kidnappees with teenagers or that Cullen and Aveline are lawful good when they are never challenged for the decisions they made which had tremendous collateral damage.
You can enslave Fenris but you can't do anything similar to Cullen. Orsino WILL die as a monster trying to kill Hawke but Elthina died a martyr. You can antagonize Anders the whole game and murder him but you can't do that to Aveline. Hell, Aveline's mourning of Wesley is treated as a tragedy to be respectful towards while Anders' mourning of Karl is hidden from a female Hawke due to biphobia and homophobia and rarely discussed even if it's incredibly relevant as another lever to humanize Anders and villify the circle. You see every outrageous opinion coming from da2 fans and it's because they choose the options that don't deny any of their values. They can do that too. Gaider and kristjanson and hepler let you support those leftist characters but you can also visciously humiliate and murder them. Meanwhile the more "tame" characters who support the system achieve a happy ending no matter your choices. They only defied the corrupt system they thrived in once it came at them with a gigantic brainwashing sword and a legion of colossal statues trying to crush them. That, and only that, was too much for them. And they're awarded for having such lousy limits.
In inquisition Hawke can't say anything outright good about Anders even while romanced, Fenris is confirmed to be alone by Blue Wraith, Merrill is in no side content post-da2. Meanwhile, Aveline is still working on the same position with tremendous power when we saw her fail and blunder several times over the years and you really have to be a manipulative and ableist piece of shit to Cullen for him to get a bad ending and guess what? The game WILL guilt trip you for it. Adding to that, Varric, the appointed voice of Dragon Age as a series and new viscount of Kirkwall has absolutely nothing good to say about Anders and is ok with the inquisition supporting the templars freely after everything he knew they did IN HIS OWN CITY. A leftist game wouldn't have this bias. A centrist game would, in the end, let characters who don't side for or against the suffering of others in an established system until it personally affects them, who aren't "risky" and have nothing to say that could, even accidentally, reflect badly in our very real system, be rewarded with the better endings.
