😭😭😭i know i'm just repeat everything here but !!!

Every year waking up to a big bouquet of flowers and chocolates and presents in the kitchen that bakugo claims were all left for you at the door by "that damn stupid secret admirer of yours."

He even goes so far as to put on his glasses to make fun of the sweet words written in the card (typed bc he'd get too sentimental writing it all out AND it'd be obvious who it was), calling it all "sappy nonsense you shouldn't take seriously..." LIKE IT WASN'T HIM CALLING U PRETTY AND LOVELY AND THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE IF ONLY YOU'D JUST "NOTICE" THE WAY HE LOOKS AT YOU ... wahhh :((

And ofc he does it for your daughters (and probs even sons, too)! they end up catching on after a couple of years, esp the younger ones... but those first few years in school with your oldest: the student counsel is walking into her class with a damn near parade of stuff he "didn't" drop off for her. stuffies and roses and a piping hot lunch and a card W/ MONEY IN IT.

she comes home with flower petals stuck to her clothes and he's just going, "ew. tell the fucker to lay the hell off" jadslkfjasd.

lmfaoooooo he's spoils you and your kids so badly and VIOLENTLY REFUSES to admit it even if you all know <3... and even when they do have their own valentines, he's still trying to get 1-2 gifts in. least he always has you...

(I'm also thinking about the way he barely even lets you + your kids say thank you. They try and he's denying it... so the only way they can is to line up and all give him a kiss on the cheek. and then a real kiss from you once they're all in bed...)

While I’m on my horror kick (sorry it’s finals week and I need smth to obsess over) thinking about how I would LOVE to draw horror/macabre themed tutu art. I mean fucking hell if we assume the main characters of the prince and the raven are around mytho’s age, princess tutu is about a bunch of dead kids and the next group of children doomed to relive their fates!! Then you’ve got all the raven stuff + things going weird because of the heart shards. THEN you’ve got the horror of complete loss of autonomy (fakir physically being forced to write Duck’s death, duck being forced to dance). Idk I’m sleepy but there is a horror take on princess tutu out there and I want to see it.

ngl the worst thing about the xenoblade fandom (which I think is the root cause of a lot of other issues) is that it’s mostly on twitter. I have to subject myself to twitter for any real consistent fan talk or content. legit there's always some new stupid topic of argument ive noticed in the past few weeks on there and its all very silly and frustrating and what im saying is everyone should move to Tumblr. please. for me.

#siren says #the other root problem in the fandom is that as of 2 there's just a lot of fans who are clearly there for sexy anime lady reasons. and that #in turn bleeds into certain peoples perception of those characters as mostly sex symbols and attracts a lot of...certain kinds of #individuals. specifically ones who dont really understand what fandoms basic principals are. the amount of times ive seen someone going "um #but thats not canon or some comment along those lines is so stupidly high. and I thought it was just homophobia and certainly part of it is #but I also saw it on a fucking glimmer/nikol art??? like. neither of them have any other love interests and its a perfectly cute if cliche #pairing and you STILL have people being contrarian? I think a lot of these gamer bro types just dont understand basic fandom guidelines ngl #and idk I also feel kind of alienated from other queer fans bc I kind of like some of the ships most of them hate and I felt like if I ever #tried to reach out it would just be awkward idk. at least the people I see on tw who I think are very cool writers or artists or whatever #xenoblade really should be bigger on here Tumblr goes on and on about the romanticization of cannibalism and weird divine imagery #and machines that are also alive and maybe even angels and im like. #WHAT A CONCEPT #The imagery is soooo good #Anyway I caved. I've read the chapter without further context. I couldn't help it I loved the concepts it played with #Very Rufus the thing the guy with the brooch did at first. The panel of the archivist girl was so Lacie I could have kicked the wall #The play on the significance of names and existence and the role one plays in the world/notions of self I loved as well #And that is so 👀 when later on it's mentioned off-hand that... Olivier is actually named Romeo? Have I understood that well?#It was so cute that little throwback with him and Roland as kids. And that he knew of Astolfo meeting a friend but didn't tell due to that #And wow there was rape everywhere in this chapter? I didn't know Astolfo had been raped. I had heard about his... mother? sister?#But not him. I mean‚ maybe they were victims of sex-rape‚ but the talk about several vampires biting him and drinking his blood #and how the mark never leaves and how dirty and maimed in ever sense he feels sure seems to imply that at least metaphorically #The angel-like being also having gone through that is interesting again in its potential implications and ramifications. The very concept #Anyway... That pretty guy telling Astolfo that he knows what he's going through and recommending him to kill himself #because life is hell from that moment on... Wow he was so real and seemed so... sincere? But who knows. He sure is alive #That + the angel-like figure's words make it so intriguing given his position as chasseur? paladin? whatever the name was #Anyway I loved that he said that in any case #I liked Olivier on the verge of getting violent with the guy who was being a dick too I can't help it. Leave the kid alone #I'm rambling but yeah I loved the concept around this angel-like being both aesthetically and narratively for what we got #I talk too much #I should probably delete this later

baby boy definitely had a proper countdown going. a little pink paper chain, covered in hearts, straight up kindergarten valentine’s day art project. hidden away somewhere (porn folder, meet your new friend: paper chain of pining).

lip totally stumbles across it (cause ian’s an idiot). “the fuck is this?” “oh, it’s—it’s nothing. just some stupid shit i made with liam. yeah, liam. for liam.” lip goes to crumpled it up and ian dives for the thing in panic. “mhmm, for liam.” lip thinks ian’s a lovestruck idiot. he’s right.

he makes another one the next juvie stint. hence his utter surprise when mickey shows up under those bleachers. “thought you had four more months?” 118 days. ian knows he had another 118 days.

but the next time…no paper chain. no count down. doesn’t even think about it with everything going on in his head. he’s never going to see him again, so what’s it matter. until he’s told mickey escaped. laying there that night. wondering where me might be. “i’m not getting involved in his shit” as he glues together little paper circles in his head. maybe a few days, maybe less? but it’s gonna happen, right? somehow i’ll see him?

flash forward to their shared prison cell. ian’s parole imminent. about to leave mickey behind. alone. he sneaks some makeshift art supplies from somewhere. fashions a new chain. for mickey this time. hangs it on their cell wall. all the days until they’ll be together again. forever this time. “i, uh, well, these have always kinda helped me. ya know, whenever you’ve been away.” mickey makes fun of him for being such a softy. such a gooey eyed puppy when they were kids. but he absolutely thinks of ian and smiles every day when he tears off a link.

Excuse me Squids this is absolutely GLORIOUS, I am infatuated with you and your brain 💗✨

118 days. He knows how long. He COUNTED. Baby boy was counting down the days until he saw him again!!! Do you know what that’s doing to me?!

My god I can imagine Mickey so CLEARLY smiling and shaking his head as he rips a chain off (“Fuckin’ sap.”), counting down the days in his head until they’re reunited.

Stares at it in the dark, the light from the window outside his prison door the only thing he can see it by.

He’s giddy the morning of his release, practically tearing it off the wall on his way out, pieces of torn paper fluttering to the ground as he leaves.

I keep thinking about how all the posters and references to the members as their DND characters include a horse…

Even in another poster that I don’t have the time rn to go find (the one with the big demon and in the bottom we see Hawkins split in four, and the DnD figurines are split in two - one of them is on a horse).

It’s always Lucas on a horse. I was thinking about how the characters are likely to manifest into their DnD characters a lot in S5 (just like they did in S1)…

But the likelihood of there being a horse is pretty unlikely. Not impossible but very improbable. So what could Lucas have instead? A bike, definitely but.

What about Dart? What if Dart comes back when the core four are likely in the Upside Down, about to be ravaged to death, and Dart remembers Dustin and what he did for him and rescues them. Maybe even works alongside them.

It’s a fever dream of a thought and I have no evidence to back it up, I just miss Dart lol. A fun little thought.
