Good afternoon Lila, this is (nurse) from (midwife’s) office. She wanted to let you know your blood work looks good but your hcg levels are high and doubling faster than expected so she’d like to schedule a scan for next week to check for multiples.

I can’t freak out with anyone in real life since no one knows so excuse me for the next few days as I have a mental breakdown.

She did reassure me that this is still more than likely a singleton so I’m going to just meditate on that.

Just realized the reason I struggle to pray regularly might be connected to my inability to ask for help. Most of my prayers are me just praising the gods. I’ve prayed once for other people and twice for my health. There could have been more instances, but unfortunately, I don’t remember anything about my worship from when I was in high school.

So… I just found this. I was able to play with the contrast and stuff, tried to make it a bit more clear. There’s still some distortion left over, but this character seems to have been brought up before. It’s not in the usual art style that the show uses, which makes me think it was part of an earlier draft. Let me know your thoughts! I’ll keep digging.

So- I have this habit of leaving things out for weeks even if they have food cuz I just forget about them. I just picked up a wine glass and it started to smoke with mold spores.

Reviews are in folk, this bout of the flu is in fact WORSE than my last bout of Covid. A fever going up and down and a cough that rocks my whole self is pretty much the WORST. My blankets have betrayed me and my fever has once again spiked to 102.5. Worry not I have in fact taken ibuprofen and am waiting for it to kick in.

Making a super rough draft of Dr. Heim’s backstory (one of my fictional little dudes) and like, I’m excited? I have no actual plans for a proper big story for him, was gonna stick to short slice of life style silly stuff, but this backstory…ooh, this backstory. If I go through with it and actually write this bad boy up, I might even fuck around and hand-write/illustrate some pages of a particular grimoire that’s important to his becoming, well, himself.

Everything’s very much still in the ideas phase but I’m psyched about it. If I can train my focus (doubtful but we’ll see), maybe I can use that as a creative outlet for when I’m experiencing Emotions but can’t express them the way I’d like.

I’ve got an ultrasound on my uterus tomorrow (it’s a regular thing for me unfortunately) but there’s always some anxiety about “what if they find something.”

“What if I’m pregnant and I didn’t know?”
