The thing about Farcille vs Laimar debacle is that there's actually mirror to that in Kabru storyline.
Yes, not only his journey and charachter mirror's Laios party, but also interm of relationship aspect.
Kabru definitely has a thing for Rin. Their dynamics already established as such. Similar to Marcille and Fallin. Can also apply to Shuro and Fallin.
However development between Kabru and Mithru also very intriguing, super fun and endearing.
Although not exactly romantic, it invites pretty big shipper for this pair, u can't help but fall for this ship (at least I did)
If people says they ship Kabru and Mithrun, would u say :
"I don't think their relationship is romantic, Kabru kiss Rin"
U wouldn't right? Bcs that would be kinda lame.
This is the same with Marcille and Laios case. The story goes on to explain how their bond gradually become stronger overtime in a fun and endearing ways.
If you acknowledge Kabru x Mithrun, it's just natural that u acknowledge Marcille x Laios.

“What’re you guys talking about?” Miles asks, not turning his head around.
“Nothing!” Pavitr and Hobie quickly dismiss.

“Your hair is like.. reaaally pretty, mama.” Jane slurred, twirling a piece of Nymphia’s yellow-dyed hair between her fingers. They sat on Jane’s living room floor, leaned against the couch for stability from their dizzy heads and vision.
“I didn’t think drinking would make you so nice, Janey-Waney.” Nymphia leaned in to gently tap Jane’s nose. “Boop.” She giggled, partially from the silliness but.. mostly from the booze.
“No no no, I can be nice!” Jane tugged on the piece of hair she had been playing with. “Fuck,” She muttered between a chuckle. “I’m sorry.” She didn’t look sorry, she was laughing, and yet, Nymphia laughed about it too.
Jane tucked the hair she’d been playing with behind Nymphia’s ear, as if to tell herself to stop, but without thinking (not like they had been doing much of that anyways) Jane had found herself placing a gentle kiss on the corner of Nymphia’s lips.
“That’s how we apologize… In Boston?” They both suddenly felt very sober.
