As someone with a compulsive skin picking disorder I feel seen. He’s definitely the kind to gently scold you for hurting yourself/marring your beautiful skin. I just know if him or the segments sees you start picking he grabs your hands and holds onto them until he’s sure you don’t try again. Probably formulates a special ointment and lotion to soothe your skin and help with any scarring.

Oh,, i'm so soft rn don't make me cry. I imagine when you're about to pick Dottore says your name flatly and you just freeze midway before he sighs and holds your hands hostage while you pout. Oh and the segments and he gets amazingly well at doing things with only one hand, as their other hand is occupied holding yours down (and boy if they aren't strong, the monster grip is crazy, though at the very least it's a good way to hold his hand without asking.) It goes from doing simple times like doing paperwork and sorting stuff to mixing unknown chemicals and dissecting things flawlessly one-handed. So... don't worry about being a hindrance to them! It doesn't matter how long it takes or how much you promise to not pick, the segments and Dottore won't let go until they're absolutely certain that you won't. Just don't question why a segment is threatening a random agent with death while holding your hand down 🥰 AND THE OINTMENT AND LOTION TOO... he ends up making multiple batches because either they don't work well or they stop working halfway through... and you feel bad he's wasting his time because of you. But nope, he's actually so in-depth with it, he will list off all the ingredients in it and then make sure to apply it to every inch of your body. He will fight you on that and will hold you down. In the end though, scars or no scars, he still thinks you're so attractive.

Okay, so this is from near the beginning(kinda?) of the mudslide fic, I know I'm being a little all over the place with these snippets, but I don't wanna post anything too spoilery so...

“I’m sorry.”

Buck shook his head and chuckled darkly; the sound came out reminding him more of a wounded animal than anything close to laughter.

“I know it's not your fault.” He whispered despite himself.

“But you're angry.” Eddie nodded as he leaned against the counter beside Buck, his right shoulder only inches away from Buck's left.

“Yes.” His answer was nearly inaudible, shame searing into his skin and burying his voice deep in his chest.

“What do you need?”

Buck snapped his head up to meet Eddie's gaze and gaped at him for a second, trying to find the words, but coming up blank. What did he need? What else could he ask for than Eddie being home safe and sound?

“I don't know.” He admitted quietly and Eddie just hummed thoughtfully as he reached out to take Buck's hands into his own, carefully twisting the dishcloth out of them with gentle force.

“Hey.”

“Eddie, I–”

“It's okay, whatever you want.”

Whatever he wanted... well, that was a dangerous precedent to set, wasn't it?

I just finished a semester so I'm dead and sleep-deprived. However. I decided to practice Procreate since I haven't had the time.

I did a small rendering exercise with @cry-ptidd 's oc Laura.

I don't claim to know how to render, I'm extremely rusty with my art so some stuff looks a little messy. I'm p happy with it nonetheless 🫠.(I almost died while drawing fingers)

Hi does anyone have any modern nedcat fic recs?

i feel like part of the reason i’m so picky with bingliushen is because my main motivation for liking it is that i like bingqiu and i like liushen and i want Both at the Same Time… but the biggest issue with bingliushen is making bingliu work their shit out enough to coexist, so a lot of bingliushen quite naturally ends up with a focus on bingliu. but then that means sqq is less of the equation, making bingliushen feel like it isn’t actually the compromise i wanted orz

i know that technically nothing's stopping me from proceeding with the main story like i want to but also if i leave any side quest unfinished i will simply have to claw my skin off. because i am extremely normal about video games
