I’m building an ACOTAR theory but I have to finish TOG, reread the ACOTAR series, and finally get around to ACOSF and HOSAB before I present my thoughts in full detail. It’s been on my mind since July 22nd. There’s a google doc filled with pictures and ramblings.

Just know it’s related to Amren, ACOTAR 6, and the portal that opened 15 thousand years ago.

I just finished the 4.2 Archon Quest and i can't help but continue to be suspicious of Zhongli for being the only version of him to ever exists in Teyvat.

There are the nameless Bard and Venti.

There are Makoto and Ei.

There are Rukkhadevata and Nahida.

and now Focalors and Furina.

Every Archon has some kind of Double or Doppelganger, or simply a Mirrorself - someone who LOOKS and acts like the first or tries to live the former dreams, goals and ideals. They aren't the only one with their face, there were at some point two of them in Teyvat (As if they were twins, but only one remained...well, in case of makoto and ei that's literally what happend but you get it) There already once was someobody conscious with the Face the current Archon wears.

Except for Zhongli. He is the only one with a face that belongs just to him. There is no counterpart or mirror, no friend or sibling, he didnt split himself into two, his face is unique and yet he is also the only one who keeps it hidden in every cutscene...

so when the curious cat tried to enter ruby's body, they tried going through her chest, probably (most likely) where here heart is because that's what's broken about her (metaphorically). in neo's case, not only were they alluding towards her losing torchwick when they said "you've lost something too", but also to her voice, that's why they tried to go in through her mouth...

ONE FINAL 7x09 THEORY POST BEFORE TONIGHTS EPISODE

As always, here is my pre-episode theory drop about what I think about the upcoming episode (and potentially 7x10).

First things first, I did say this before the sneak peek was shared that the councilwomen would gate crash the ceremony so I am taking this as a win! I did also say she would do some fucking up of Henren trying to adopt Mara which by the looks of what we have seen, could also be plausible. I have no idea how American politics works or adoption so I have no idea what the councilwoman could possibly do but I am sure the Henren storyline has something to do with her and Mara’s upcoming adoption.

I think that Gerrard is going to at some point approach Tommy, and the interaction is going to be uncomfortable in some way shape or form.

I think Amir is the one Athena says ‘I think my husband is in danger’ to and it is in fact the Cartel that are after Bobby and cause the fire in Bathena’s house.

I am predicting the Bathena house fire to be in the middle of the episode, and that there is some other big bad thing that is going to happen that causes the episode to end in a cliffhanger.

There may be a potential Bobby relapse storyline, but either in this episode or the last one of the season. It may be along the same lines of season 5 and we have an almost relapse, or an actual one.

I think Buck is going to catch Eddie out on a lie and that’s how he finds out about Kim, and they have an argument about it. I think this argument is going to either be overheard by Christopher, or Christopher is going to figure out about Kim also by Eddie lying, and they have it out with one another. This is going to spiral into Eddie feeling isolated and alone.

I am throwing this in there because my brain does weird things and I don’t know why I thought this, but, BUT, what if, Kim isn’t real, and she is a figment of Eddie’s imagination. Maybe he is having some kinda mental breakdown, maybe he is sick but I just, feel like the boat scene is a bit… weird(?) and it just didn’t sit right with me. Call me crazy but hey, I had to put it out there.

What do we think? Have I lost the plot yet? Probably.

McCarthy Books: When you search this, the first and pretty much only result is about the author Cormac McCarthy, an American author whose later works are apparently considered to be ambiguously nihilistic, and ‘rejecting the idea of the world having a sense of moral justice’.

The ‘Ted Lasso’ Twitter account (i think it is an ‘official’ account) also made reference to McCarthy and his book ‘The Road’ in its most recent tweet on June 2nd.

Not sure if this has some connection to the overall bleak feeling/outcome of the final episode, along with the books mentioned in the show seeming to have darker and stranger tones in S3.

Genshin is really driving me up the wall right now

I generally play on PC, and while I originally used the keyboard, I switched over to controller at some point since that is easier on my fucked up wrist

Since I own a Playstation, I am using a PS4 Controller, and I have long gotten used to games displaying Xbox buttons

But now I sometimes have Genshin displaying PS Buttons and while I really wouldn't mind that, it comes with lag and input not being read correctly

Particularly when using skills that need a held down button not coming out like that, like Zhongli's shield or Kazuha's Charged Skill

But then sometimes it will display the Xbox buttons again and the lag is completely gone and I am sitting here like ???

HOW AND WHY

the wall of not doing things has been absolutely awful lately and i genuinely have no idea why anymore. like i am just stupid why do i feel like i'm being crushed by a mountain every time i try to focus. what is going on lol

#ok i do have some theories but considering how much tamer everything is currently it. does not convince me #like maybe it's the fact that i'm putting 90% of my mental energy into um. both thinking and avoiding thinking about certain things?#idk it's weird. i'm trying to keep myself from spiraling and so far maybe it's working? but i wouldn't say i'm not doing any obsessive shit #like currently i just spend most of my days being nervous and tense and not doing anything and sometimes i. remember and go #'ooh that's right this is where all my brain cpu is going'#but idk. again i'm not spiraling it's way more manageable than it has been other times. but maybe that's exactly it #i am managing and it's taking. a lot of effort. that apparently i cannot put into studying anymoree #i kinda wish i could just have a mental breakdown about it and move on but history has shown that this doesn't work <3 #anyway. i hate to say it but honestly part of it could be that i have not seen my therapist in two weeks #too much bullshit thoughts nowhere to vomit them so now they're just. festering #i mean i am very obviously currently trying to exteriorise a bit with those way too long tags #will it work since etiquette is keeping me from being specific. who knows #anyway trying with the linguistic again. goodbye

Tag vent, needed to get it out. TW suicide/SH/mental health/inaccessible care

#my mental health is rapidly declining and I feel like my life is falling apart #i want to go back to therapy and i want to get back on meds but I cant afford it #I just feel so empty sometimes for no reason #and then my brain will try and solve it like THIS is why youre upset #and then i create these conspiracy theories and detach myself from reality/spiral into “everyone hates me my husband is leaving me im dying”#i relapsed recently for the first time since leaving my ex and I just feel myself slipping #and like suicidal thoughts over something as simple as breaking a mug i bought at the dollar store #or my USB not going in and getting so frustrated I start sobbing #what is wrong with me I just want to get better #i hate doing this to my husband i feel like my mental health is such a burden #which i know it isnt because he used to work in adolescent mental health care and he also has LIVED experience with bipolar #but hes doing great on meds and i cant recieve the help I need and I feel like im taking up too much space #i feel hard to love no matter how many hoops he jumps through to prove im not #but the reality is he shouldnt HAVE to jump through hoops like that and I feel like because he does it confirms i am hard to love
