Wrote a very depressing tweet earlier, but was a coward and deleted it.

So, instead of being depressed AF on main, I'll take one of the things I said in it and will elaborate in a much better, healthier manner, which is... gushing about music, my beloved, my hyperfixation ~

In the tweet I mentioned André Matos, a BR singer, composer, pianist with a literal degree in classical music and conducting.

He became a literal metal legend here in BR specially in the 90s/2000s. Like for real - he was THIS CLOSE to replace Bruce Dickinson when he left Iron Maiden in the early 90s (Andre was in the 3rd place of choice).

Unfortunately, Andre passed away in 2019 at early age of 47 due to a cardiac arrest - it was very sudden and a shock to everybody, it's kind of insane even now looking back and remembering he's gone.

Anyway. That being said, enough with the sad stuff and let's turn this into THE COOLEST THING you guys will ever learn about Brazilian music!! As a kid, Andre Matos was the vocalist of a band named Viper, and later on as a young adult he joined Angra, a band that still exists to this day with other members and vocalists - BTW!!! SMALL PARENTESIS, the vocalist who replaced Andre in Angra, Edu Falaschi, sang the Brazilian version of "Pegasus Fantasy", Saint Seiya's opening theme back then!! Still a fucking banger, and Edu STILL often sings it to this day; Edu isn't in Angra anymore, I think???

But yeah. As you can see, we're already getting epic and complex and I didnt even get to Andre yet lol ANYWAY!! This is Angra with the OG formation with Andre as the lead singer/keyboardist - he's the 3rd one, the pretty boi in the middle, hehe

Angra was one of the pivotal points in Brazilian hard rock/metal; Sepultura is right there with them, I think - I don't know a lot about Sepultura (that's my sister's territory lol), but I know that much.

I'll skip straight into Angra's stuff cause there's where the good stuff begins!

First album of theirs is called "Angels Cry" and the title song is SUCH a quintessential Angra / Andre Matos song, i swear to gods. And the album art sdkjfhsdkfjshdf it's very Graphic Passion Is My Design. Don't be fooled by the dated album art tho:

Here you'll hear the "classic music interludes" that were very common in Andre Matos' songs due to his background and training in classic music. It's SOOOO 80s and their Iron Maiden influence is SCREAMING, quite literally. Worth mentioning I'm not an Iron Maiden fan lol btw #Poser

Another CLASSIQUE-TM from Angels Cry is "Time".

I'll throw the official videoclip in here because it's hilarious, even though the song slaps ksdjfhskdj (André's corny, pretty metal boi look in his early Angra days is kind of a goal to transNB me, ngl. #GenderEnvy)

WELL, do you guys know folk metal? Like, when we say that, it's usually metal + medieval/European instruments (like Eluveitie, for example).

In 96, Angra did what I like to consider "Brazilian folk metal", metal with BR elements and influences, in their album "Holy Land"

The concept of the album was like, the great navigations but it was also kind of a commentary in colonization - Brasil is our "holy land", and a lot of the songs feature this epicness and bittersweetness, joy and sorrow of being BR. The songs are in ENG, which is kind of ironic, but still The songs being in ENG is due to a lot of factors tbh, all of them involving the fact that Brazil doesn't embrace metal a lot, and they wanted to to sell their songs outside BR bc of that. Which sucks, but i get it.

Here we have CAROLINA IV, an epic describing a ship at sea, and it also references the Portuguese who arrived in BR back in the 1500s.

The song is all in ENG except the intro, which is a chant dedicated to Iemanjá / Janaína / Iemoja, the orisha of the seas and the most well-known orisha around here, if I'm not mistaken

"Hail, hail Yemoja, Hail Janaína And everything that was made in the waters They throw flowers at the sea God save the Queen And my journey on this sphere An orishas' caboclo Soon leaves the Earth Meeting his fate Where the sky meets the sea He will find his safe harbor And that's how it ends..."

Black culture and religions are strong here in BR, and this chant and the instruments used are a tribute to them <3 If you guys know of or remember Michael Jackson's "They Don't Really Care About Us", that's the same beat/Afro-Brazilian influence - in MJ's song, it was the famous group Olodum who did it, I don't know if they were involved in Angra's Holy Land though. "Carolina IV" is a very long with a lot of changes in pace and even genres (again, classical music interludeTM). It's very epic, very 80s metal, and very Brazilian as well, it has everything I love, ahhh <3

In the early 2000s, Andre left Angra and he and other, previous Angra members formed the band Shaman.

I think it's good for me to reiterate at this point that while we had bands like Angra and Sepultura, the metal genre WAS NOT and NEVER WAS mainstream here in BR.

So, the fact that Shaman became incredibly popular in the early 2000s because one of their songs "became to mainstream" was kind of an anomaly. THIS, MY FRIENDS, is where my story with Andre Matos' music starts. Because this was early 2000s, I was around 13 and the reason why I knew about the band, alongside hundreds of other teens at the time, was because a song by Shaman became soundtrack to a BR telenovela. The telenovela in question was O Beijo do Vampiro ("The Vampire's Kiss") and as the name suggests, it had vampires and 'edgy dark fantasy stuff' cause it was more targeted for a younger audience, as the protagonist was this middle schooler aged boy who was actually the son of a vampire.

The BANGER, THE ETERNAL, EVERLASTING ANTHEM from Shaman they chose as a soundtrack to that freaking telenovela was "Fairy Tale", from their first album "Ritual":

I swear to god, this song is fucking everything to any Brazilian metal fan my age. It was a literal game changer to a lot of us, because this was how we discovered or started really appreciating metal, since we were too young to catch on Viper in the 80s or Angra in the 90's. Other bands like Evanecscence, Nightwish and Linkin Park were also starting to become popular, so a lot of metal styles were coming around around that period.

Including a Brazilian singer that also leaned more towards a heavier sound, Pitty! That song is from her first album.

ANWYAY, BACK TO ANDRE MATOS - I'll make an exception here, and share two versions of the same song. I've shared the official videoclip with the studio recording, and below, is a very beloved live performance from 2003:

I'm sharing both versions because they are slightly different - studio ver starts with a religious chant in latin, and the live version includes a violin, played by Marcus Viana (another conductor and a famous composer of soundtracks for Brazilian shows and movies). In the live ver you can also see Andre Matos SLAYING on the piano because dude was a literal master of his craft ksjdfhksjdf

The song starts all calm with the piano, very lullaby-like, and then BAM!, 80s METAL HAIRFLIP AND GUITARS AND EPICNESS. And then it ends how it started. It's such a beautiful track. I love it so much, such a true banger. Makes me nostalgic AF, and I love the "epic tale" nature it has.

Another personal favorite of mine from that time comes from their second album, a track called Born to Be:

I love how it mixes mellow piano lines with heavier metal arrangements, it was kind of their thing and they did it so well! And by the way, I am aware the name of the band / cover of first album might be considered problematic nowadays?? It was the 2000s, unfortunately those things happened a lot. It's looking back into our teen years and realizing things were not as pristine as we remembered fskjdfhksd oh man. But yeah. Aside from that, the songs slap so hard, specially if you like the 80s metal feel. And speaking of the 80s music, Andre covered some pretty badass, daring songs over the years, not only but including... ..."Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" from Journey, which he recorded after he left Shaman and went solo in the late 2000s:

I cannot affirm that for a fact, but I think this cover is sort of a "meme" because it was kind of a recurring joke that Andre Matos sang like Bruce Dickinson but looked like he was Steve Perry's "long lost son". Steve Perry was the most well-known vocalist from Journey. The "Dont Stop Believin" Journey:

Madlad decided to make a metal cover of Kate Bush with this falsetto voice and he just. He just did it. DIDNT CHANGE / ADAPT THE LYRICS, EITHER. You'll hear 22 year old Andre Matos in 1993 fucking scream at the top of his lungs HEATHCLIFF IT'S ME CATHY, I'VE COME HOME, I'M SO COLD LET ME IN-A-YOUR WINDOW. And he's singing VERY VERY HIGH NOTES, this song is fucking hard to sing y'all, I'll let you know right now lol. Anyway.

Here was the Andre Matos / Angra / partial Brazilian Metal history for you, and I hope you like the song recs, and if not, I hope you enjoy the trivia at least!

Remembering his music earlier made me nostalgic, but also made me sad, bc a lot has happened ever since 2003 and the "Vampire Telenovela". I've created OCs inspired by him - it was a two-in-one sort of OC, and he's retired for over a decade now; and I didn't do much with him anyway, so no artworks to show.

And I'm seriously considering bringing his music and influence back to a more recent OC (if you read my post about me looking for a new voice to my transitioned OC, that's what I'm talking about). It's a funny way to go back to where some things started.

That (and a lot of other, unrelated stuff) made me super sad earlier.

Andre Matos left us way too soon, and like I said earlier, it's always weird remembering he's dead, because it doesnt feel like that, to me. Maybe the fact I always "forget" he's gone is because his music and influence on me as a person still lives on, which is sort of a comfort~

Boys I’m obsessed with

You know those people you just look at and you’re in love. Oh yeah...it hit’s different. For me It’s mostly their personality or attitude that make me fall head over heels, but you certainly can’t deny that the’ve got the looks too. Here are a few boys I am obsessed with. Enjoy my darlings;)

Kol Mikaelson

It’s sooo easy to fall in love with this original vampire, am I right? He is soo fucking hot, his smile is drop dead gorgeous and his accents is hot af.

Anakin Skywalker

Next in line is Anakin fucking skywalder. Oh my goodness, I don’t know what made me so obsessed with him. His attitude maybe? Or his looks? Doesn’t matter if I’m being honest. I was forced to watch ALL the Star Wars Movies with my lovely boyfriend and he probably regretted it afterwards, because I was talking all about how great Anakin was...All. The. Time......ooopsie.

10K

Did anyone of you watch ZNation? No? You have to! It is such a good series and I fell so hard for 10 thousand. He was soo fucking cute and his smile just made my heart melt. Oh god and to be honest 10 K would be the only person I would want by my side in a freaking apocalypse.

Damon Salvatore

Sarcastic? Check. Hot af? Check. Bad boy gone soft? Check. Ok, I’m falling...Every TVD Fan will agree with me: Damon Salvatore is one hell of a guy. I loved him starting in season one and I love him since.

Jess Mariano

Any Gilmore Girls fans around here? Nope? What a pity. Best show ever. I loved it so so so much! My mom and me always watched it together and I would cancell my friends just for watching 2 freaking episodes on TV with my mom every night. It’s been a while since then but I will never forget it. Ok now let’s move on to my favourite guy: Jess Mariano. Always and Forever Team Jess. He and Rory are endgame. Can’t tell me any different. He has such a good humor, his sarcastic lines are EVERYTHING and he was a really handsome guy in his teenage years (I’m not quite a fan of beards I must say).

Newt

Please Tommy...Please. I am fucking crying right now. Read the books. Watched the movies. And I am soo in love with Newt. He is soo fucking cute and such a great character in the Maze Runner Series. He deserved everything. Considering my type is dark hair and (mostly) brown eyes it’s surprising I am so obsessed with Newt. Doesn’t matter. Newt is cute ;)

Alec Lightwood and Jace Herondale

Yayy...Shadowhunters is one of my favourite shows and The mortal instruments (plus TID + TDA) are my favourite books. Ok, let’s get into it. I LOVE Jace in the books, I am totally obsessed with him. I also love him in the show, but book-jace was just better. I mean he is hot and all, but idk i just really liked book-jace. Alec Lightwood on the other hand: I liked him in the books but i LOVE him in the show. His development as a character is just better portraited in the show (at least that’s my opinion). But since he is gay and with magnus, I just can’t find him THAT attractive. I mean he is, but just not in a I-want-you-to-fuck-me-senseless kind of sexy. Still, those two guys are just perfection. Non sexual obsession can still be obsession :D And Jace is hot, but he is blond so not REALLY my type. Still two very very handsome guys.

Kai Parker

oh don’t even get me started. I guess psychopaths are just my thing. He is soo fucking funny btw so how could you not enjoy watching every fucking scene he is in? I always hated that they killed him in TVD. He had sooo much potential, especially since he melted with Lucas and kinda got a heart you could say. It could have been such a great character development and a freaking epic storyline, but no, they killed him.... Still not over it. As if Damon, Stefan or any other guy in this f***ing show was any better than him. I mean come on? Ok well he killed his family that’s another level of crazy but Stefan killed his father too so i guess that isn’t a reason to make someone the bad guy....Still don’t get it and never will but here you go: My obsession with Kai Parker.

Jughead Jones

There, I said it. Riverdale is maybe not my favourite show, but it just fucked with my brain and I didn’t go through this rolercoaster to not stick with it until the very end ;) Bughead is fucking endgame, you know it guys. I fucking loved every scene of Betty and Jughead together and I hope they don’t break them up, atleast not for good. Moving on to my favourite Riverdale-Boy: Jug. Love him, just love him. Not a fuck-me kind of way but a fuck-Betty-and-I-will-love-it kind of way. Those two are always together in my head so no chance for my weird fictional boys fantasies. Nope, but still: Jughead Jones is my favourite, I just don’t like Archie I-have-no-shirt Andrews and his behavior, so going for the weirdo. And let’s be honest: The way he smiles is just soo adorable.

Ok...Let’s move on to my weird obsessions.

Peter Pan

I’m going to be honest with you guys: I have NEVER watched Once Upon A Time and I don’t think I ever will, but I watched some scenes on YouTube. And there it is: My obsession with Peter Pan. The bad guy. The king of Neverland. The fucking guy that just catched me with his charisma. The way he is so confident, knows exactly what he wants. I can’t help it but think about how fucking hot it would be to be the only Lost girl, getting his attention and being dominated by this bastard. I don’t know but he would sure be dominant in bed. Just imagine him: choking, demanding... Considering he used to be a character I loved as a child (the Disney Version at least) it is quiet weird, but who tf cares about that?

Ok that is enough for now...Hope I didn’t make you unconfortable my darlings ;) I guess I just have a type, you know...Dark hair is just a must have for me and I do love every eyecolor but dark blue, dark green or brown just hit different. Anyways let me know if you watched any of the movies or shows or read any books that were mentioned here AND if you are equally obsessed with any of those guys.

Winx in Concert - Top 15 Ranking (Part 2: 5 - 1)

5. You're the one

Absolute classic, iconic, can't compare to anything. I actually preffer the movie version, but sadly there is no full version of that one. The best anokated part has to be when they show their powers and the all combine.

4. Dreamin' in my way

Underrated af. So much detail, fluid movement and the choreography is amazing. The song is so different that you might think it is not from Winx at all. Winx on Ice needs more love, guys.

3. Fly

I consider Magical Adventure to be more nostalgic to me than this movie, but the song made me feel that nostalgia for some reason. It is not too slow or too fast, the perfect middle. And the visuals ar3 kept simplistic as they should be.

2. Superheroes

Ah yes, the critically acclaimed best Winx song according to the fans. And I am one of them too. There isn't much to say about it - it's just so fun and epic that it can even be considered an unofficial Winx theme.

1. Chain Reaction

I might be biased, but you can't deny the fact that this one slaps. The scifi-esque sounds, the fact that Elisa's voice sounds sensual in a way too. It is even better as an instrumental if you don't fancy the voice. Besides that, I find it hilarious that most scenes are Tecna just being angry af or suspicious. Only the best from her character.

With that said, I can safely say that the general idea of Winx in Concert with original songs (aka the ines that didn't appear anywhere else besides some of them) is an interesting move for Rainbow. Sadly, not many fans appreciate this part of the series or the music in general. No matter what season you choose, there is always at least one song that slaps.

Just something I have been working on ^^ (renders from @myu-resource and @kosmosinusa )

SO as you might have noticed from my previous post that I just rewatched Sailor Moon R The Movie: The Promise of the Rose and it was simply for this!

Even before of the announcement that Sailor Moon S Movie/ Kaguya-hime no Koibito is going to be maybe into a musical, I have been wondering what it would be like if the movies were made into musicals! So I watched the movie and at the same time I was taking notes about which actor would be best for each role and which songs would go into this musical! (I thought about making this a Youtube video but because there is going to be a lot of explaining and stuff so I figured it would be easier to just do a post :D) So I guess you could call this a “What if?” Myu or something :D (or just a Dream Myu)

Hope you enjoy this because it TOOK A FREAKING FOREVER XD And I even lost half of the progress so that was fun xD ALSO there are probably spelling errors and stuff because I’m not native English speaker and this was kinda tiring lol but hope you enjoy! xoxo

Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon: Hotaru Nomoto (I don’t know what it is but everytime I think about R movie and wondering who would be the best Moon for that, Hotaru just immediately jumps into my mind. Hotaru isn’t the best Moon imo but she is SUPER AMAZING and since Moon is a little bit more mature in this movie and I feel like Hotaru is a very good option, since her serious and caring(and goofy :D) Moon was soooo amazing!)

Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask: Yuu Shirota (Since this movie is kinda centered on Mamoru and his past I feel like Yuu is the best choice, since he brought Mamoru’s sensitive side more up than anyone else imo, especially in SRD and KOK)

Ami Mizuno/Sailor Mercury: Chieko Kawabe (So in the musicals Chieko was really bubbly and cute which wasn’t very Mercury like, but seeing her playing Naru in PGSM brought a completely other side of her up which is why feel that she could also be that shy and studious girl who doesn’t really know who to interact with people)

Rei Hino/ Sailor Mars: Misako Kotani (Since this is movie is fully on the anime and Misako basically is the perfect Anime-Mars for me (picking fights with Usagi but also caring about her the most WHILE also being that serious miko when something is wrong), I knew immediately that she was the right choice)

Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter: Yuu Takahashi (Yuu was the first Jupiter to me who actually showed us the feminine side of Jupiter, and since it is kinda important in the movie, when they are remembering their past and stuff, I thought that she would be the best)

Minako Aino/Sailor Venus: Rimo Hasegawa (It was REALLY hard to pick a Venus for this one, since Venus’ past has never really been explored in Myu (Which they totally should! just give as the goddamn Sailor V musical) but then I felt like Rimo was the one who actually got to the closest point (in LMF) and would be PERFECT for this one

Chibi-Usa: Ayano Gunji (So Chibi-Usa doesn’t really have big role in the movie, heck she wasn’t even a Senshi then so I don’t know if they would actually include her in the musical lol but anyways, since it’s the basic Anime-Chibi-Usa I felt that Ayano woulb be best since she pretty much was the Anime-Chibi-Usa)

Fiore: Kenji Urai (OKAY SO after seeing the Death Note musical I noticed how well Kenji plays as a villain, so that is why I decided to choose him for Fiore, and since he is a former Tux and he was done other stuff with Yuu before too, it would be pretty cool :D)

Xenian Flower (voice): Tomoko Inami (SO this was the one I struggled the most with. For like an hour or two I just went through all different actors from Myu and listened all different songs from Myu to find someone who would be best for Xenian Flower. Since Xenian Flower is just so manipulative and doesn’t care about else and just does thing for it’s own advantage so I felt like it couldn’t just be played by some random(if you get what I mean) but then it hit me that Tomoko would be amazing at playing Xenian Flower since Mistress 9 is pretty much the same, manipulative, deceiving (when in the anime she tricked Sailor Moon by lying that Hotaru is still alive into giving her the Holy Grail) and does everything for her own advantage. And her voice is so good and I think that it would be good for the Xenian Flower! Also the reason why it says “voice” is because the Xenian Flower is just hanging on Fiore’s chest and it would be kinda impossible for her to just hang on Kenji’s chest for the whole musical XD)

Flower Youma: Ado Endou, Miki Kawasaki, Kaori Ishikawa ,Mio Nunokawa, Yuka Kobayashi, Tomoko Inami, Ayumi Nakaoka, Mayuko Kawamoto (Ado and Miki are pretty self explanatory, Kaori was SO amazing as Nehellenia/Lemures, I included Mio because she was a pretty epic Telulu and she is all about the flowers so that’s why :D Yuka is just awesome so that’s why she is here xD I wanted include Tomoko in the Ensemble crew since it would only be her voice as the Xenian Flower so that way she could also be physically on the stage. I just really liked Ayumi and Mayuko xD Mayuko was super sweet and Ayumi seemed really good! I wish she could have gotten a proper role in Myu)

Musical Numbers:

1. BestFriends (At the flower garden) Inners + Chibi-Usa (Even though there is only a short clip of this song and the instrumental online, I feel like this song fits in! Especially because the movie has a lot to do with the girls friendship with Usagi. Also included Chibi-Usa because she needs to be a part of some songs at least :D)

2. Otome no Policy (After Usagi and Mamoru’s failed kiss, when the other girls prank Usagi with the worm) Inners + Chibi-Usa (Even though I haven’t seen Super Live, I feel like Otome no Policy was a nice inclusion! And since this is Sailor Moon R Movie and Otome No Policy is the ending theme for that season, I think it would be cool!)

3. Kaze no Shijin (When Mamoru is talking about his past with Usagi) Mamoru and Fiore (Beryl’s lines would be changed and they would be sang by Fiore. Since this was pretty much the moment in SRD and KOK when Mamoru opens about his past to Usagi, this song HAS to be included. And obviously Fiore wouldn’t physically be there but in Mamoru’s mind or something when he starts to remember stuff)

4. Fiore's Theme Song (When the Flower Youma seed is sent to Earth) Fiore, Xenian Flower and Flower Youmas (So since this song doesn’t actually exist it doesn’t have a name so it’s just that :D In the movie Fiore doesn’t appear in that scene but I think it would be cool if he could have his “villain song” or something. Maybe Fiore could be reminiscing about his past with Mamoru and indicating his hate of Usagi. Maybe even the Xenian Flower could have a solo part there)

5. Sailor Make Up! (When Usagi and Chibi-Usa get knocked into the cafe and the Senshi transform and start to fight with Flower Youma(s)) Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus (I feel like this song would really fit in because there aren’t that many songs with just the four inners and because this song doesnät really get finished because the enemies overpowered the Senshi. Also I really like this song and it’s sad that it’s pretty much forgotten :( )

6. Make Up! Kumikyoku ~ Moon ~ (When Chibi-Usa wakes the fainted Usagi up and she transforms into Sailor Moon to save everyone from the Flower Youma) Sailor Moon (This is pretty much fits in since it is Sailor Moon’s transformation song and because the other Senshi are in trouble so it just makes it even more perfect for Sailor Moon to sing this while she saves everyone. Obviously it would be much a shortet version, similiar to what it was in Kumikyoku Medley but maybe a little bit longer. Ofc without Tuxedo Mask or the Shitennou. Probably just the introduction and then some dancing and finally Moon Tiara Action/Boomerang)

7. Tuxedo Versus (When Fiore is about to attack Sailor Moon but Tuxedo Mask comes to save her) Tuxedo Mask (I think this fits the scene best out of all the Tux songs since either they are too calm or too energetic. I mean this song is pretty energetic too for the scene in the movie because it was pretty calm since the Flower Youma was dead and it was just Fiore trying to kill Sailor Moon. But you would think that in the musical there would be more than one youma and Tux could just come to save Sailor Moon from them and the Fiore would appear to do his thing)

Act 2 (Act 1 ends when Fiore stabs Tuxedo Mask and takes him to his asteroid and the curtain descends as Sailor Moon screams for Tuxedo Mask, similarly to NogiMyu)

8. Fiore's past & Truth about Xenian Flower (Mamoru is in the resurrection tank or whatever, and Fiore tells him about his past while the Senshi learn the truth about Xenian Flower) Whole Cast (Senshi, Chibi-Usa, Mamoru, Fiore, Xenian Flower and Flower Youma) (SO this song doesn’t exist either but I feel like this song would be one of those epic songs where the Senshi and the villains sing their own lines and it becomes one huge song similar to Sailor Battle La Reconquista from La Reconquista or Shuuketsu - Yume no Atsumaru Basho from Amour Eternal or Triple Dreams from Yume Senshi. In that song the Xenian Flower could tell about her true goal and Fiore and Mamoru about their past while the Senshi are shocked about the the Xenian Flower. Also in the movie they learn the truth about the Xenian Flower from Luna and Artemis but in the musicals they could learn it from Ami who could have found it from her computer or something)

9. Ai no Senshi New version (When the Senshi use Sailor Teleport to go the asteroid to save Mamoru) Inners (So this would be similar to what Sailor War was in Old Myu (another good option for this scene) but I decided to put Ai no Senshi instead since Ai no Senshi is also from Sailor Moon R and it’s really epic battle song and I have always wondered what it would sound like in a musical!)

10. Watashitachi Sailor Guardians battle ver. (When the Senshi are at the asteroid and start battling against Flower Youmas) Inners (pretty self explanatory :D each Senshi sing at their own turn and attack the youma and at the end Sailor Moon destroys them all with Moon Princess Halation)

11. Sorezore no Elegy (When the Senshi are trapped by Fiore and he demands Sailor Moon to make a choice, drop your wand or they all die) Inners (Okay this song fits PERFECTLY. Since they all are telling Sailor Moon to fight and survive and leave them be even though Sailor Moon doesn’t. Especially the line “This life was dedicated to you long ago” is just simply perfect for this scene and really hits the feels. Also Pluto’s part wouldn’t be there)

12. BestFriends Ballad ver. (When Fiore is sucking Sailor Moon’s energy, telling her how horrible of person she is and how they all will never understand loneliness and sadness, everyone starts to think about their lonely and sad past) Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus (So this version doesn’t exist either but it just came to me that it would be simply perfect for this scene since everyone starts to think about their sad and lonely past before they met Usagi and when they also try to convince Fiore to not kill Usagi and tell him how lonely they were before they met her. Also because the movie has a lot of stuff about the girls friendship with Usagi and since the regular version was at the beginning, it just hits the feels.)

13. Fiore and Mamoru’s Duet (Mamoru who has escaped from the resurrection tank, throws a rose at Fiore telling him that he remembers everything and tries to convince him to not kill Usagi) Mamoru and Fiore (so yeah this doesn’t exist either but it would just be perfect point for them to have a duet where Mamoru tries to reach out to Fiore and tell him that Usagi is not a bad person)

14. Otome no Policy Ballade ver. (When Fiore learns the origin of the rose that Mamoru gave him) Sailor Moon (When listening to the ballad version of Otome no Policy, it just came to me that it would fit this scene so well. I can just hear Usagi singing gently and quietly, trying to sooth Fiore by showing him where Mamoru got his rose while he is trying to take the Silver Crystal)

15. Moon Revenge (When Usagi uses the Silver Crystal to stop the asteroid from crashing to the Earth) Inners (Pretty self explanatory :D one of the BEST songs from Sailor Moon and it needs to be in this)

16. Moon Revenge Piano ver. (After Usagi has died from using the Silver Crystal and everyone is crying) Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Tuxedo Mask (This also played at the same scene in the movie so it just has to be in this and it would so much hit in the feels)

17. Moon Revenge (curtain call) (Similarly to what it was in UNV, when the actors come to bow, it’s instumental, but at the end everyone sings the last verse)

Eurovision 2018 Rehearsals Day 3 - Actual first impressions

Norway: Seriously? All this big blowup for THAT act?! Oh geezus Christ. I’d so NOT love it to win, that’d make me SO disappointed because that way Rybak will rob out many good entries that deserved a better result. Nothing too special, just energy, charisma and all that jazz. But do people really see that as a winner just because Rybak? Puhlease folks, focus on something else. I’d probably even have Estonia over that.

Romania: If Eurovision 2018 was a shopwindow. Also, like I said, The Humans were some lovely fellas to interact with on the ESCXtra livestream ^^ Also also, there was a runthrough where the first verse produced some echo out of the mic, something like on Selecția Națională too I think. The epic hair shaking is present, too. Although Eleni ended Cristina in that category unfortunately :(

Serbia: I miss Sanja tbh. The third female backing adds a bit too much depth in the verses. But at least the song is capable to fulfill itself even with the first minute of it being spent with Danica vocal exercising with her blonde pal, something like in Beovizija. Guess the staging is alright for now, nothing more nothing less

San Marino: God bless that staging xD One of the robots was holding a sign “I am not a robot”, Marina Diamandis much? Also the “Will you marry me?” sign. 1) is this a Sammarinese way of proposing if you have no money for the ring? 2) why can’t Jessika bring the love of her life on stage à la Ieva Z. and do just that for Jess just so that we could witness FYR Macedonia from last year but even in a more epic WTF kind of way? THAT way you can ask for points. Jana’s boyfriend (now husband and the father of her baby) did not do enough for to turn the proposal into points sadly :( Also I hope their outfits for the semifinal are honestly better than that.

Denmark: Didn’t really hear much of him but at least I tried to hear one full rehearsal with his audio. I so wanted him to sing well because he was hated in pre-parties for singing by the backvocalridden backtrack?? Dudes, don’t you know you have a FULLY INSTRUMENTAL version of the song published on Spotify?! Anyway I hope the performance is not too boring...

Russia: Wow, they’re really trying their best to mask her slight inabilities to go up with her voice. So much so they had to lower the pitch of the song. It sounds as decent to me, even if they got rid of one of my favourite keys :’( Anyway the stage show will probably secure them a final for sure, unfortunately enough... (Also I saw some news report of her Eurovision journey on C1R but my dad decided to skip it for the news forecast and eventually some TV series :S)

Moldova: I saw their stage show is playful af, also the doppelgangers! xD It’d be interesting if the band members did have twin siblings. Kind of a qualifier now, also has risen in the odds to the number #17. (Also I have missed their ESCXtra livestream already, I bet they’d be as good as all those that I saw today. Also I missed Jess and Jenny B but not a big loss, maybe they’ll come back as they were there twice x) )

The Netherlands: Couldn’t care less about the hip hop dancing problem, if all that matters is that Waylon has an on-stage band then it’s all fine ^^ But I guess it’d then render The Netherlands as non-qualifiers? Because you don’t only need to be strong, male and confidently Dutch to pass through to the final. I remember 3JS were special types of things that I believed in at first, but their staging was so flop and the general feel was just too much uncle-time that I don’t see why they’d qualify, sadly enough :S

Australia: She was only off at one part in the eurovision.tv clip xD And I like her stage lights and her dress. That one tassel must be proud to be existing on Jessica’s body :’) I’d be fine if she did only lower than usual that Australia is expected to do, but not if she skyrocketed thanks to the juries, because it lacks the oomph to be THE winner imo. I kinda hope the same for Norway tbh. Again guys, seriously? :x

this had a few good parts like the new girls and the instrumental to dirty dog’s rap, but overall it was cringy af. not ‘so bad that it’s good’ like ccstk but not unwatchable. certainly the worst thing i’ve livewatched, but i still had a cool time! :D
