Finally giving Kaida her own gi and animal symbol because I hate the other concept art I did

The colors are quite inspired by the spirits of the temple of episode 11 (except for the blue belt)

She hated wearing a gi at first, especially because of the flashy colors ("Jay, if I wear this, they're probably going to shoot me") but then she got used to it because she realized it was more comfortable than fighting in the Administration uniform

Aoi Kureha:

They think there's a special sort of charm that comes with being able to entertain children without hesitation; your natural magnetism to the young and innocent was a trait Aoi thought was quite sweet. They think they can take inspiration from the way you act to perfect their princely performance, wanting to give a universal type of appeal to let fans of all ages know they would be there to defend them.

Shiki Ando:

Shiki envied your confident kindness, the way kids speak so free and easy with you when he could hardly do that with his loved ones. He had once been a scared crying child, feeling more alone with every passing day, but he still recalled small moments of empathy given to him by adults who cared. You could hardly tell just from the surface whether a child was in need emotionally, but if they were, he knew they’d remember you for an eternity.

Shion Kaida:

Shion had to wonder if you could handle someone like Kenta, but that was a real challenge not for the weak-hearted (and he wouldn’t count Kenta as ‘normal’, exactly). Kids had always been fascinated by his looks but up close he made them nervous, so he rarely interacted with them. Kids honesty could be brutal yet refreshing, which made him wonder what type of person you must be to talk with them so freely.

Shogo Yamato:

Shogo had almost wanted to ask if you were looking to have kids in the future, but the implications behind his question made his face grow warm and his head feel fuzzy. He decided to just quietly admire you as he normally did, thinking it was quite the cute scene to see you soothing children who had previously been fighting. He thinks you must have some sort of magical power, knowing he might’ve been able to get the same outcome offering up his gummies, maybe, but it took a special type of person to be able to speak to kids on their own level.

House of Memories (dpxdc, Dick/Danny)

This fic comes to my mind first. I think one of the reasons why I have a soft spot for this one, in particular, is because this is the first fic that I felt I truly succeeded in writing angst. My first MCD fic as well. And I remember I've always wanted to write AU Soulmates for so long and this was the result. Plus I love Dick and wanted to give him more attention. Bonus is that I haven't seen many dpxdc fics where it is set to Dick is Robin.

Legacy (dpxdc, Danny & Jason. Biodad!Jason)

I love Jason. And I also love the thought of exploring Father-Son relationship between Jason and Danny (I'm used to reading deaged Danny, but there's something cathartic writing when it's Danny as a teenager while Jason, in his mid30s, exasperated at his son. That's the dynamic I want to explore) No joke that I immensely enjoy writing about Jason feeling guilty of not being there for Danny (and not knowing he existed). Last I checked, the draft for the next chapter of Legacy is around 4k words (I just havent gotten around editing it). Plus it's set where Jason is Batman, a trope that is not much explored in the dpxdc.

Two of a Kind (dpxdc, Jason & Danny, Halfa!Jason)

I will always be grateful to Kaida for bringing this idea to life of Jason being the second Halfa. I love the idea of Danny having a trusted adult he can come to this time. There's so many I want to gush about this, especially Jason's complicated issues with Vlad. You'll find Jason in this fic interesting because he has different priorities while feeling guilty at the same time. Plus we get some flashbacks (*nods to Red Hood: Lost Days*). Plus I also ADORE where this fic is set to Post-Infinite Crisis.

Dynasty | Loving You Was Like Dancing without Music (ATLA, Sokka/Zukko)

I remember the intense research I did for this fic. I have a separate word doc of writing the history and Fire Nation "legal documents". Even got 3 docs of flashbacks for Sokha, Mai, and Zuko (overall wc: 5k). And the fic is inspired from my fav kdrama show at all times so that's one of the reasons why I enjoy writing this fic.

Danny the Intern (dpxdc, GEN)

Ngl, I debated back and forth with this one because I have mixed feelings about this fic nowadays, but I can never forget the intense planning and outline for this fic and the 2 months I spent writing the buffer chapters just so I could be ahead of this fic. Part of why I enjoy writing this fic is that it's a Case fic. A mystery going on that I'm excited to eventually reveal, which I've been keeping my mouth shut for 11 months now. Currently, ch 6-11 have an overall 13k words. If it goes according to plan, Danny the Intern fic will be updated either this halloween or next month (for the 1 yr anniversary of DtI)

Ohh, YAY, I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the concert last year. I attended a YKL in Taipei back in 2019 and it was AMAZING (Report #1 & Report #2). I have a lot of great memories from that trip. I was able to meet many fans from Taiwan, they made me feel very welcome and everyone was really kind to me💗

Just my guess, but maybe they meant why Keiko didn't have many songs written for her by Yuki Kajiura in early Fiction Junction time, and possibly also before she joined FJ 🤔 why indeed, since Kajiura composed a lot for FJ Wakana, Kaori and Yuriko Kaida. Though I remember reading somewhere that Kajiura's music signature just naturally favors sopranos ~

And yes, I have to agree with @davi-doo here, YK definitely seems to prefer to write leading parts for sopranos. Now that Keiko is exploring higher registers in her solo career, it's probably easier for YK to feel inspired?

"Nothing," she mumbled and turned her head to the side to avoid her dad's concerned look. "I just got into a fight with a group of guys on the street outside of Aunt Jacqui's shop."

Her dad sighed and put a bandage on the cut, careful not to irritate his daughter. "Doesn't sound like it was nothing." Standing up, the male gathered the first aid kit and walked back into the bathroom, leaving Kaida alone with her thoughts.

When the assassin Hard Truth killed his latest target, he didn't expect her to get back up again and slice his face off. Taking a deal with Eye and Seven Despairs to save her life, she was reborn as Candor. Jay has flashback dreams? Like, you dream of your memories but you can never see the faces or remember the names of the people you dream of?

How would it be if one of your recurring dreams is the events of season 6? being tortured with scrat trap, losing the eye or similar?

With this last one I'm just looking for a little angst for Jay.

Has your kid ever seen you wake up in the middle of the night from a particularly bad nightmare/memory? Or does Jay not allow anyone to see him in that state?

Another question, sorry to be annoying, does Jay's kid have a name or do we just call him "the child" or "the kid" for plot simplicity?

Yes, actually, in the fanfic I'm writing (which it's about how Jay lost his memory, how he joined the agency, and met the kid); Jay has dreams and nightmares about the ninjas every night during the first months that he lived in the Administration. He can never hear them talk and usually forgets what he dreamed of once he wakes up, except for "a black haired girl". The really angst part is that after almost a year, he just stops having those dreams and forgets that he had them in the first place. Like when you have a dream that you could clearly remember as soon as you wake up but as soon as you try to remember it you can't even describe what it is. (This part of the plot is quite inspired by Your Name btw.)

And regarding S6, there's one part I don't want to give too many spoilers about, but Jay definitely has a little flashback as soon as the kid mentions once about "a kingdom of floating ruins with wish-granting creatures." There is also a scene where they both comfort each other after having a nightmare.

And the kid actually has a name! (It took me forever to decide on one lol) Her name is Kaida; which means "little dragon".

Helo :D (btw ur like my most favorite here, since I'm new and ur AMAZING) but I do have a question. Even with Leo's leg, do him and usagi like to dance alot? (Inspired by one of ur short stories) if so. Leo and usagi dance together: , :3

It’s an all around sun for him. He does grow to love it to as for the two reasons mentioned above.

Even though Leo’s leg will always bother him. There are good days and bad days.

On the good days the two can dance in any style. This can be date night, going out with the family and friends, or just at home enjoying each other’s company.

On bad days they ca stand and sway. Usagi try’s to take as much of Leo’s weight as he’ll let him, as he wants his boyfriend/husband to be comfortable and hates seeing him in pain.

On the worst days, the days it is hard if not impossible to get out of bed. They spend the day together anyways curled up on the bed or couch just enjoying the others company.

They dance because they find joy in doing it. It’s simple, it’s loving, it’s affectionate. The two hold each other close and enjoy their time together.

Once they have kids they teach them. They dance while holding them as babies, as toddlers they spin them around. If the kids see their dads dancing with out them they run over to join in. It’s where the twins get their love for it.

Sakura’s passion for dance comes from the love she experiences from her dads but also the love she sees between them.

Jotaro and Kaida love to dance to. They just don’t take formal classes like their sisters. It’s a joy but not a passion. They learn form their dads and love to dance with their loved ones just as much as their fathers do.

- Myline awakened her sharingan for the first time at the age of 13 and only gets the Mangekyō at 20, after finding Itachi’s already lifeless body. - She is rarely seen using her sharingan, we can count how many times she has used it with our fingers. - Obito presumed that she would never have a sharingan because of her eyes being red instead of black like it is usual for the inactive sharingan but her red eyes are a genetic characteristic from the Yabuza clan and it happens naturally, masking the color of the inactive sharingan. - The Yabuza Clan have their own kekkei genkai, the Kageyogan (Something like eyes of the shadow realm), with the power of teleporting trough shadows, this kekkei genkai along with Myline’s speed gives her an advantage that her opponents should always have in mind.
