transformers synergize

A covert Autobot mission to transport the Allspark off Cybertron goes array after a Decepticon ambush destroys the Ark, splitting it in half and sending it and its crew plummeting to the planet below. Waking up an unknown amount of time later, the remaining Autobots find themselves stranded on a strange alien planet called "Earth." Prowl, being the highest-ranking bot still on the Ark, takes the lead. Now all the Autobots have to do is find the missing crew members, the other half of the Ark, and the Allspark while also finding a way to get back in contact with Cybertron. Of course, all while needing to ration their energon and fend off both a small group of Decepticons and a mysterious group of techno-organics they’ve come to call the Insecticons, with all three groups of bots seeming to be looking for similar things, and none of them are looking to compromise.

Some of the older stuff on the blog is out of date. Take it with a grain of salt, some major changes have happened since the first draft like the Insecticons being the main threat at the start instead of the Decepticons, along with a reduced cast. The starting cast of bots is 6. More will be added over time, so if one of your favs who had a redesign before isn't on the poster, they may appear later.

Would you mind writing for Hardshell from TFP? The insection didn't get that much screen time (still more than Makeshift though) hence the question. I really like the guy and it would be nice to see more content about him :3

The bug decepticon isn’t known for liking humans. He’s a powerful, arrogant bot known for felling many wreckers- so when a human found the signal to attract them, he was furious. 

Since Arachnid had died, they lived on Earth in their own colony. One day they heard a noise that lured them away to a home in the middle of the country. A human sat on the porch of the home, playing with what seemed like a small Cybertronian receiver. It had all sorts of wires hanging out of it.

Hardshell immediately landed with a heavy thump in front of the home, scaring the human badly. The human shook with fear as many other huge robots dropped down onto her land. 

Hardshell clicked a few times in irritation before speaking. “You… are you the one who summoned us here?” 

“I…what?” You looked confused, unsure of what was currently happening. You were terrified that one wrong move would result in death. Suddenly, you jostled the radio, and the Insecticons froze. They suddenly scooped you up, flying away with your receiver in your arms. 

They brought you to a cave, calling you their Queen and getting you anything they thought you’d like, including a glowing blue crystal. 

“Please, I just… I just want to go home.” 

“No. Queen must stay here.” Hardshell spoke aggressively. He truly meant no harm- he was only protecting the future of the colony. The Queen would give them guidance. 

Hardshell wasn’t the only one guarding your every move- it was the entire colony. You’d never leave, so long as you were their Queen- even in death.

Saw this post of a very handsome little guy and was inspired to make this guy with the intention that he’d be from @cuppajj’s fan colony, Thalamhan ^v^; (if not then lmao)

I have absolutely no idea what to name him, but he strikes me as either something like an architect, or an archivist/historian. Someone who’s a bit on the quiet side and a little bit absorbed in his line of work.

wada sez: Roy Stiffey was evidently a big fan of Beast Wars, and worked on tons of strips featuring toy-only characters from the series—though they’re not really serialised in any way, so I’m not bunching them up for this new archive like I sometimes do. The twist here is that the Insecticons are actually named after the Beast Wars character Insecticon! They appear prior to their arrival on Earth without any of their beast-mode kibble. Per Bashar on deviantART: “I always wondered why some of the BW figures had generic names? ie..Dinobot, Insecticon. So this was just my idea for an explanation.” A couple of panels featuring a transformation for Prowl were cut to make more room for dialogue; you can find the sketches below. Stiffey would produce character models for basically all of his strips, so there’s also a ton of those below—including one for Silverbolt, who didn’t actually appear in any of the final comics, just for completion.

As I'm re-watching Transformers Prime there's one thing that keeps bothering me; what happened to the offlined insecticon in the New York subway? Did someone from the government find it or did someone else? Something that big definitely wouldn't go unnoticed forever

Ur header says that requests are open rn but if they're not and Tumblr's just fucking with me feel free to ignore this! ANYWAY, if they are open... can I maybe request an Insecticon Queen Starscream? Except, instead of him being kidnapped/taken during the war, he was found by them WAAAAAAAAAY before and has long since accepted his role as their Queen. He's a very pretty, very fuzzy Moth Insecticon now. I'm torn between "Megatron wants the Insecticons to join the cons and that means dealing with Starscream" and "The Insecticons never got involved & continued to thrive even after Cybertron got all screwed up. Since the planets uninhabited, they claimed a huge swath of territory for themselves, and are super territorial and don't let ANYONE even step foot on their lands. Now the remaining bots and cons have to Do Diplomacy with Starscream so they can get permission to acquire needed resources and keep a Very Large Very Angry Hive of Insecticons from destroying them. Queen Starscream may or may not demand that the Hive be represented in Whatever Government will happen." I am so sorry if that last one is waaaaaaaay to specific, you can do whatever is easiest for you, I just like the idea of Ancient Insecticon Queen Starscream, and I love ur writing and the ideas you have, so I'm curious to see what you come up with! (*^▽^*)

For Megatron having to deal with Insecticon Starscream

Megatron finds out about the Insecticons, and wants to use them to destroy the Autobots, and become their leader.

When he gets to the nest he finds out that the Insecticons already have a leader.

He and Starscream have a hissing fit, and the cons get kicked out of the nest.

Knockout and Shockwave recognize Starscream as a missing scientist, one that disappeared right before the war.

The cons plot to try and get Starscream to go back to becoming a seeker, and Megatron becoming the leader of the Insecticons.

For the peace treaty

The bots and Cons originally try to move the insecticons, thinking them more of a nuisance rather than equals.

When Star emerges, he is recognized as a missing scientist

Some bots and cons plot to change him back, while others are recognizing him and the insecticons as a more sentient life forms

When Starscream demands representation, some laugh it off

Optimus and Megatron give him a seat, as Star technically has a big army and could destroy the fragile peace

Shockwave wants to study Starscream, see the effects of being changed into an insecticon

Others are plotting to change Starscream back, not liking how the organic material worked with the Cybertronian living metal.
