Designing some of the clothing and stuff for my turtles.

I started with Raphael, so most of the intricate details are on his page, the others contain info more specific to them.

I’ll probably design more for specific missions and stuff, but I think this gets the idea of what they like and the general designs down.

I think on the scale who’s most likely to go on a mission in pjs to least likely, it’d probably go Mikey, Leo, then Raph and Donnie are tied last, it depends on the day

Woe, baby turtles be upon ye!!

I may or may not have created a baby toitle doodle that I turned into a base, and I’ve been drawing teetles on it nonstop

Of course I had to test it with everyone’s favourite brothers, but I’ve also been collecting references of people’s turtlesonas in a TMNT discord server, and I’ve drawn as many as I can and they’re all ADORABLE!! I’ve mentioned as many people as I can find, but if I’m missing anyone let me know!

this request was interesting because the way you described the reader is like really similar to a friend I have except she's not exactly goth it's more like alt/indie rock aesthetic but she literally collects so many bones (I love her sm fr she is just a fragile little creature)

also I appreciate the compliments!! I almost always have a problem with my works, so it's nice to know people still like it

Leo:

Leo likes your outfits, but he’s more impressed with how well you pull it off. All that black, yet you still wear it so well. He’s curious about how you do your makeup, so if he gets the chance, he’ll sit next to you and watch you do it.

One time he asked if you dressed like this to make you feel better about yourself. You simply replied no, just saying that you liked the style for how it looked. He was confused for a second, but he took that to heart.

Although he wasn’t the biggest fan of what you collected, he sure loved hearing you tell him all about your collections. Showing him different bones, which animals they came from, all the stories behind it. It was just so interesting to hear you talk about it.

Raph:

Raph loves your style. He can’t get enough of it. You just look so cool and careless, and he’s absolutely here for it. He insisted that you take him shopping at all the stores that you go to, because he really wants to try this style out. But, his final selling point was when he found out that people put spikes on clothes. From that day onward, he never went out looking the same ever again.

However, as much as he may have admired your taste in fashion, he didn’t have the same fondness for your hobbies. Okay, collecting is one thing. It’s cool to see all the different things people collect…but come on, does it really have to be dead things? Like…what about comic books? Or video games? Even rocks! But you choose to collect dead animals. Gross.

Mikey:

Mikey likes your outfits, but he thinks they lack a bit of…color. And variation. And…okay, maybe he’s not the biggest fan of your style. He doesn’t hate it, but he could never see himself in your clothes. Inversely to Raph, he’s the one to take you shopping to try out some new clothes. You always go with him, but every time, you end up picking your style over anything Mikey suggests. No offense to Mikey.

When Mikey heard about your collecting hobby, he was very intrigued. But once he learned what it was…he was less intrigued. It was certainly an interesting selection of items to collect, but not so much for him. But living in the sewers, you kinda find a lot of that stuff lying around, so sometimes he picks up a few things to give to you the next time he sees you.

Donnie:

Donnie absolutely adores your style. One of the main reasons why is that one of his favorite bands in the world dresses very similarly to how you do, so he pretty much just becomes a fangirl for your outfits.

Oftentimes he will send you pictures of celebrities or fictional characters he likes, asking if you can dress up like them. He gets very happy and excited when you respond with a picture of yourself in the outfit that he asked for.

But he wouldn’t just ask you to do that without giving anything back. So in return, he helps you expand your collection of weird dead things. He looked online for how to taxidermize at home, and started helping you make your own taxidermied animals. He didn’t have too much interest in things like that, but the process of taxidermying the animal was super fascinating to him, so it was cool for the both of you.

TMNT: Fusion Leo Reference and Bio!

Fun fact: The Central American Wood turtle is one of four subspecies of the Painted wood turtle! Mikey didn’t hear half of the explanation of Leo’s biology and dubbed he and Leo’s team up duo as the ‘painted siblings’ <3

Some random facts about our blue-clad medic:

Similarly to the 2012 series, Leo is a total dork for sci-fi and superhero movies. His favorites are Star Wars, and Marvel movies (he likes the DC comics though). His favorite characters are Shang-Chi, Batman, and Obi-Wan.

He, along with all of his siblings, are bilingual and raised with their father’s Japanese customs/ culture. Leo is the most respectful and fond of this heritage and loves learning more about Japanese culture from his father and books. This is what also started his interest in being proficient in multiple weapons so he could spend time with a Splinter. He’s the most interested in training but doesn’t like to be teased by his siblings because of it.

He learned medical practices from Donnie and other resources online in the lab. This happened after Raph cracked his shell when they were younger and Donnie got hurt in the sewers.

Hates horror but loves the Stranger Things soundtrack because of the 80’s music. His favorite music genres are J-pop, 80’s hits, and indie pop.

He has Generalized Anxiety and is considered the ‘mom’ of the group because he likes to be over prepared.

He and Mikey like to paint together, at first didn’t want to show off because he didn’t want to take the spotlight from Mikey but Mikey, being awesome, totally hyped their older brother up. Leo mainly uses paints or just draws with graphite/ charcoal in his sketchbook. Leo has two sketchbooks. The one he never shows it off to his siblings because it’s a personal one. He begs April for an iPad for Christmas after he meets her.

I'm relatively new to tumblr despite having an account for years. I was always a little scared of this platform, but now that I know more about how it works I've come to adore it!

Indie TMNT Comic Dub 2- Late Night Gaming

Here we go! ANOTHER EMOTIONAL COMIC DUB YAYYY. ;) A while ago I asked the artist herself, @indieyuugure, if I could dub over her comic. She said yes! :) So here you go. I TRULY WISH TMNT 2012 had moments like this. ESPECIALLY between Raph and Leo. Those two went through so much trauma and hardships, and not ONCE did we really see them bond together through it, or even just- hug it out and cry. This is why I am SO EXCITED for more of Indie’s story with her iteration of the TMNT universe. :) Hope y’all are having a nice day today!

"And so it begins"

First off, shout out to Kevin Eastman, who did the layouts for this initial story arc. His page layouts are always super fun, using a lot of tiny panels to convey a lot of action, mixed with some very well-posed and smartly utilized full-page spreads.

Second of all, shout out to Dan Duncan, who will be doing the first year of this series. His sketchy style is super indie-looking, also the way he shapes characters is really satisfying to the eye.

Third of all, WTF WHERE THE HELL IS MY RAPH?! That'll be Tom Waltz doing. I love how we immediately start off BAM. One of the turtles is missing BAM. Cat-bitch we've never seen before. BAM, we're gonna brawllll. Smart move to get us right into the action with no context, so you get connected to the characters first before the story itself.

Black Suited Raphael: this is pencil and colored penciled sketch of Black Suited Raph from the Archie Ninja Turtles Comics with that 2012-TMNT cartoon eye design style with Sean Astin-Raph’s bright green eyes, and I attempted give BSR that Anime Mouth invisible bridge line by making his cheeky mouths into Cerebus Styled Two Cheek Mouths that I could draw on one of the Ninja Turtles again for fun, I also got myself the Digital Version of TMNT Shredder’s Revenge for my Switch Console this time too rather than the physical version since that version was a Limited Run Games edition due to LRG’s fairly expensive prices of course, although I hope that Tribute Games will add in the Mirage-Turtles game costumes as gray toned skins with red mask highlights to be added into the newest TMNT Indie game later on as DLC one of these days since the Mirage-Turtles wore the same red masks in the colored covers of their black and white comics back in those days of course. Time to dump my Tmnt 2012 anthology au series, “The Horror Of It All” because knowing me, it’ll be a while before I write cohesive series for these and I don’t want people to be mega confused when I dump a random one shot for any of these

Next up, my absolute favorite indie horror game that makes me unfairly salty with the actual route it went, Bendy And The Ink Machine!!

This here au is called “ Casey And The Ink Machine” ( take a guess who’s bendy in this) I’ve actually posted art for this one, but here’s a character list anyways!

( should’ve been the real bendy) The Ink Demon/ Bendy- Casey ( if you know me, this isn’t a surprise)

( he deserved better 😭) Boris ( more specifically, Buddy Boris)- Donnie ( oh, I’m about to put this boi through hell)

( cool, but could’ve been better) Alice ( specifically, Susie Alice)- April ( this girl gets too much hate, I swear)

(Note about these 3; they’re all the actual cartoon characters brought to life, not people possessed by weirdly choosy ink)

( why did this guy have a voice if it wasn’t to question s••t?) Henry Stein- Raph ( raph is canonically an artist. I swear this choice makes sense)

( probably one of the coolest batim characters) Sammy Lawrence- Mikey (… this ones really hard to explain)

( this b••tard should not have gotten away with no consequences, I swear to god..) Joey Drew- Leo ( because Leo’s my least favorite of the main 6, so I’m gonna keep making him an a••hole)

And last but definitely not least, probably one of the best indie horror games, Doki Doki Literature Club!!

I swear this isn’t a joke. This one is a little more…. Loose with the canon, so some au clarification will probably be required

( best horror antagonist) Monika- Leo ( see what I mean)

*technically* Sayori-Mikey ( his story follows fairly close to sayoris)

*technically*Yuri- Donnie ( isn’t as crytic nor nasty, just very obsessive)

*technically* Natsuki- Raph ( is still technically a tsundere, but thats all he really shares with Natsuki)

( april and Casey are other love/ friend options with some of Natsuki and yuris traits utilized)

April ( an “ intuitive“ girl who gets more crytic as the game goes on)

Casey( a reckless guy who secretly has an abusive household like Natsuki)

The Main Character- Middy ( middy in the “ real world“, midnight in the game)

there may also be crossover stuff with these and my slightly rewritten ver of canon Tmnt 2012
