18. I know autumn camping trips are totally aesthetic but it’s cold as shit in this tent, can we snuggle? with the Giant JatP Polycule because they would go on the most memorable camping trips and also snuggles
When Carrie said she was taking them camping for Reggie's birthday, they'd been... well, not surprised. Okay, they'd been surprised. Because Carrie was more the 'ski chalet in Switzerland' type, not the 'tents at a national park' type. But it's what Reggie had asked for, a real camping trip with s'mores and ghost stories and cuddles.
When Willie, who was either the bravest or at least the person who feared death and dismemberment the least, pointed out Carrie didn't seem like the 'sleeping on the ground' type, Carrie sniffed disdainfully. "Who says we're sleeping on the ground?" she asked, as if offended by the question.
She'd given them a list of things to pack, told them she'd take care of the rest, and the rest was history.
When they got to the camp site in the big almost-but-not-quite-we're-being-casual limo, and piled out, there was a beautiful big round yurt waiting for them. The wooden deck went all the way around, with a hot tub on one side. There was a fire pit, and an outdoor shower (as well as an indoor one, Carrie quickly clarified), and a big swing set that Luke and Willie immediately raced to.
"Oh my god, peach blossom, this is the most incredible thing ever," Reggie whispered, grabbing Carrie in a bear hug and twirling her around. She didn't even protest that much, since there was nobody around but the driver, who was ignoring them to carry in all the bags of food and stock the fridge.
"I know it's not exactly a musty sleeping bag on the floor of Mister Molina's old tent, but..." She rolled her eyes. Julie snorted, because even though she loved their old tent, it had also... seen better days. And probably wasn't big enough to hold all of them.
This place, though... It was huge. The bed was big enough that a fair number of them would fit, but there were also a set of bunk beds behind a little screen. The place had a little kitchen with a fridge, hotplate, and microwave, there was a real bathroom, and a cozy looking fireplace with an honest to god couch and sheepskin rug on the floor.
The first two days were great. They made s’mores, they sang campfire songs, Reggie and Willie had a competition on who could jump further from the swings. They tried out the hot tub, and maybe made out a little in the hot tub. At night, they watched the stars and Willie pointed out constellations, telling the most beautiful stories about them. Reggie kept quiet about the fact that he was bullshitting, prodding Flynn when she attempted to call him out. He liked Willie’s stories.
Everything was amazing... until the firewood ran out. And the glamping people didn’t respond to Carrie’s texts.
“It’s okay, we can just forage for branches for the fire pit,” Reggie soothed her. He didn’t want her to get all worked up and ruin her own trip. Willie and Alex immediately volunteered as well, and Luke tagged along mostly so he could sword-fight Willie with assorted sticks, while Julie and Flynn scouted the area in case there was like, a shed with more stock nearby.
They still had a campfire that night, and it was still awesome. Except that night when they went to bed, they realized that no logs meant no fancy fireplace. Which meant no heat.
“It’s fine,” Reggie tried again. “The blankets are really warm, and the coffee table thing is a whole chest with more blankets.” So they piled more blankets on the big bed, as well as the bunk beds for the people who’d chosen ‘freedom from poky elbows’ (Alex) and ‘proper beauty sleep’ (Flynn and Carrie).
It was a little after one in the morning when Reggie felt something cold press against his calves. “Gah,” he said, flailing awake. Carrie shushed him. He squirmed out of Julie’s grasp just enough to turn around. “Whasswrong?” he asked, wrapping his arms around Carrie.
“It’s cold,” she complained, burying her icy nose against Reggie’s chest.
“Not in the cuddle pile,” he assured her, snuggling close. Fifteen minutes later, just as he was dozing off, he was woken up again by Flynn throwing her extra blankets on the bed before unceremoniously climbing over him and shoving herself between Julie and Willie.
Alex didn’t last much longer. “Well now I feel left out,” he said from across the room, before shuffling over with his own extra blankets. It was a tight squeeze, but Luke was more than happy to pretend he was a weighted blanket, sprawled mostly on top of a shivering Alex, until they all drifted off to sleep, cozy and warm again.
The next morning, after getting a response from the Glamping Manager that they’d be by with more firewood the next day, Alex shook his head. “Nuh-uh, I’m not doing that again,” he said. With a glint in his eye, he strode over to the wall, grabbing the probably-only-there-for-decoration axe off the hooks. Then he strode outside confidently.
“Do we... do we trust Alex with an axe?” Flynn asked.
“Honestly, Alex is the only one of us I’d trust with an axe,” Julie said. The rest of them pondered this for a moment, before nodding.
“Besides, he’s got them... drummer muscles,” Reggie said dreamily. This kickstarted Willie into action, hurrying out the door of the tent after Alex.
“Come on,” he called behind them. “You’re gonna miss the show.”
Watching Alex take out his frustration on a fallen tree until they had at least enough wood to get them through the night without freezing was totally worth it, even if they had to collect more sticks for the s’mores fire. Still, as Carrie tilted her head at Alex chopping out his rage at Cold Toes All Night, taking off his hoodie and revealing only a tank top underneath before getting back to it, she mused it was a shame they didn’t have some nice lawn chairs and drinks to watch this view.
“Best birthday ever,” Reggie whispered.

• Jhené Aiko has a pisces stellium in her chart, no wonder she is ethereal, and carries spirituality as a huge part of her platform. I feel those with pisces in their big 3, or stellium could benefit from incorporating spiritual themes in their career/side hustle! Jhené has a wonderful way of connecting to her audience, and Pisces is very much in tune with the collectives energy. Pisces is dreamy & manifests easily due to their flowing nature! So pisces, ya’ll can greatly benefit from a spiritual side hustle to help grow yourselves 💅🏻🤍 I love jhené aiko 🤝
• She often talks about getting high in her songs which make so much sense. Pisces may use drugs, weed and alcohol as a way to escape. But when healing, they turn towards spirituality and themselves to face their shadows 🤗🫶 shadow world is incredibly important to all water signs to help settle their subconscious! And a way to open their heart so it can flow the way it’s meant to.
• Virgos when they were younger probably carried the most health issues ❤️‍🩹 virgo babies please take care of your health. I believe health issues are your bodies way of communicating strongly, it’ll tell you what needs to change in your life, and if what you’re pursuing is helping you/hurting you. Your body is strongly connected to the energies around you which is why it’s so in tune. Powerful 🤗💘 just like pisces.
• Saturn in the first have a way of finding comfort in their melancholy, they almost never want to leave. Especially if this native has cancer placements. Their past is their comfort and only source of predictability, thats why they stay the same, or it takes a long time to make inner changes. Even if their past was turbulent, they would rather be able to predict what happened, than to change and face the unknown ❤️‍🩹
• Libra venus are so sweet and definitely know how to talk your ear off in romance 💘🌸 golden retrievers for sure! All libra placements honestly ‼️
• Capricorn venus is very particular about who they date. Perfectionism is apart of their motive, which is unhealthy, but also they want someone who can equally help them and support them in their life. Lets be rocks together ‼️ kinda vibe lmao. Some capricorn venus’s want control to the point of not letting anyone in, it stems from fear of everything falling apart ❤️‍🩹
• 12th house synastry is truly unique. Every experience I’ve ever had is different, because it’s a water house. That kind of synastry will reflect exactly what needs healing in your subconscious, and in your heart. I’ve been in mature connections involving 12th house synastry, I saw how deeply spiritual it is & it has soulmate energy to it. Ive also been in connections that were turbulent, and fell apart because of the healing I needed to do. Now, of course other partners with 12th house synastry can have their own healing they were not committed to which also contributed! This is important to remember. Both partners need to heal and dedicate time to their shadow work to evolve, and move forward 🤝 12th house synastry is not bad, it is simply reflective of your innermost state when you meet that person. You are meeting yourself in another 🌸🌅
Thank ya’ll so much for reading 🤗🫶 this was cool to make again! I appreciate any likes reblogs and comments. Share to me what you think! 🙌🌸 see ya’ll around.

Writing in General (For those who don't want to die like Stormtroopers)
SlickWrite: Completely free; online. Checks grammar, punctuation, flow, and writing style according to different settings (including fiction writing).
ProWritingAid: [RECOMMENDED] One of the most thorough online proofreader I've ever used. Although when using a free account gives extremely thorough feedback, it gives +20 different in-depth reports for only the first 500 words for free. However, you can earn a premium account license (for a year or for life) if you get 10 or 20 new users signing up for free; (if you wouldn't mind doing so using the link above and help me earn mine, please). The settings allow you to check your writing according to your needs, from general to formal to creative. It has a bonus that you can check depending on the genre you're writing. For example, in creative, you can choose romance or sci-fiction (there are 14 sub-genre in total). And just like google docs, you can share a document, and people can view, comment or edit.
LanguageTool: [RECOMMENDED] Another excellent proofreader. It also has a word limit in free accounts, but if you use the add-on for Google Docs, it counts each page as a new document, so hitting the limit is nearly impossible. It helps you to rewrite a sentence, even if it doesn't raise any flags; it's very useful for when your sentence is grammatically correct, but it doesn't feel quite right.
Grammarly, Hemingway Editor: No so great, but they do the basic job.

The hardest question
The most difficult question I get is "How do you make them look so nice?" because that's kind of broad and it's a whole process that differs depending on what each pony needs.
I've been trying to think of the best way to answer, and at first thought I'd need to make a flow chart.
I think maybe talking through the process as though I had a pony that needed EVERYTHING, would work, too.
So I'll try.
Let's assume I've bought a pony on eBay to clean and resell. This pony is filthy, has rust and/or mildew inside the body, has smooze, has matted hair, is missing some plugs from her mane, and is missing some paint.
When I get the pony, I take it downstairs to my photo taking spot and photograph the left side, right side, and any other areas that I think are worthy of taking pics.
Then they go for a bath immediately. Because ew.
A bath consists of:
scrubbing all over the body with a damp melamine sponge - this releases dirt from the vinyl and quickly exposes which marks are removable and which are stains, be gentle where there is paint
assessing the pony's needs
[dish] soap and water wash for body and hair
I do not ever throw ponies in a sink full of water and it stresses me out when I see people do that.
Ponies then get laid out to dry and after that go into holding bins depending on what they need.
At this point I usually take the phone upstairs, transfer the before photos to the computer, ID the ponies, label and date individual folders for their photos. I'm usually working on lots of ponies all at once and this forces me to sit down and take a break.
So, in order, they would go through these stations, which I do give silly names:
interior rust and/or mildew removal (derustbutting), which does require derusting the tails and is when I replace metal washers with nylon ties
depending on how matted and tangled the tail is, I may detangle it a bit during bath time with a metal dog comb so that it's smaller and better fits through the tail hole, this also helps with removing rust from the tail hair
smooze remooze which consists of soaking a pony in hot oxy-clean water (do not do this with princess ponies it ruins the metal plating on their 3D cutie marks), and aggressively scraping dirt from the vinyl's airbubbles
let dry completely inside and out
stain or yellowing treatment using 40Vol hydrogen peroxide cream and UV exposure (SunBox) which can take overnight to weeks and often needs reapplication of the cream
rewashing to remove 40Vol cream
waiting to dry fully inside before the tail is reinstalled (3 to 4 days)
temporary tail and head reinstallation
the hair is rewetted and slathered in a heavy smoosh of hair conditioner, then laid on a towel so that the hair is away from the body because conditioner can discolor vinyl if left touching in big globs
the conditioner is left to sit a while (I tend to leave it overnight but that's not necessary, it just forces me to take a break)
after the conditioner has set and softened the hair, they get a good rinse
thoroughly comb the hair with the dog comb, and then again with a flea comb to get all of the tangles out
flat iron
at this point I can wait for the hair to dry and then take off the head and tail again, re"open" the tail, and take some hairs for their mane
plug in those hairs, apply Fabric Fusion (I like it because it's a thick gel), and let that dry
final reinstallation of the head and tail are done when the glue is all dry
assess the hair: does it need conditioned and flat ironed again?
we'll assume yes, so repeat the wetting
repeat the conditioning
repeat the rinsing
repeat the flat ironing
let it dry again because we're going to do hot-setting and I prefer to do that dry
do a "wrap and set" which is where I will wrap the pony's hair around their neck and back leg, wrap a strip of paper towel over that, and a bit of tape, or put in straw curlers
put them in a plastic baggie so they don't get wet, put the baggie in a big bowl with the open end hanging over the side, heat up a kettle of water, pour that into the bowl, and cover it all with a bar towel
wait at least until the water has cooled on it's own (this is another time I tend to leave it overnight)
take them out of the baggie (set it aside, you can reuse it until it leaks)
take them over to the painting station and do my best to match both the color and placement of the missing paint
let that sit overnight
seal the paint
let that sit overnight, too
take off the curlers/wraps (the longer you wait, the better the shape will hold) and make sure their hair is photo ready
take pics of the left side, the right side, and the bottoms of the feet because buyers like to know exactly what they're getting
edit pics, make collages, queue to here, etc. etc. list on eBay and hope for the best
That last part isn't really related to making them look nice, it's just part of the process for the hypothetical pony.
Hopefully you can see why it's difficult for me to answer "How do you make them look so nice?"

HUMAN DESIGN SERIES
I feel excited to begin this series on Human Design. I'm part of a year long Human Design program, and decided that since I already love and post about astrology, it would be fun to talk about Human Design. It's not as popular, but has absolutely changed the way I show up in life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Human Design Chart
In human design, there is something called the Human Design Bodygraph. You can sign up for free, and get your chart here. You will need your birth date and birth time - you cannot calculate your chart without your birth time.
If this is your first time learning about human design, please don't feel overwhelmed by the look of the bodygraph/chart, it's not going to make any sense the first time you look at it, but that's what we're going to uncover together. It's going to be fun!
Firstly, what is human design? Very briefly, human design combines astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, the chakra system and more ancient practices, to help you understand the optimum way you operate based on your chart.
Think of human design as a manual to how you operate best, in relationship to work, environment, relationships, manifestation, self-worth, and more. It's a system that showcases your unique way of operating in the world, and how the energies flow within your system, so that you can operate in alignment to recieve what you desire and live a more fulfilling life.
How to Read your Bodygraph.
The Types
Before we take a look at your actual chart, there's a lot of fun and important information to the right side of your chart. This covers the basis of your design, while the bodygraph itself provides more nuances to your individual energy.
Your Type
There are 5 different types within Human Design, which means everyone is either one of these 5 types.
Additionally, each of these 5 types has a self theme (also known as signature.) This means the state of being that is the highest frequency for them - being in this state means you're in alignment. The opposite is the not-self theme, which is the lowest frequency to be in, and equals misalignment. These are the 5 types:
Generator Self Theme: Satisfaction Not-Self Theme: Frustration Over 70% of human beings on the planet are generators. Making up most of the population, these types have a lot of energy to work and build things. All generator types (the generators + manifesting generators) are known as sacral being. They have a defined sacral center which provides a wonderful, consistent flow of energy to do and create. If you're a generator, you like to go in-depth with one thing and achieve true mastery in that field. The not-self theme for you is frustration. This means you aren't using your energy correctly in life, and therefore need to increase feelings of satisfaction in your daily life.
Manifesting Generator Self Theme: Satisfaction / Peace Not-Self Theme: Frustration / Anger Technically, the manifesting generator is not a separate type, they're classed as generators. However, they have energy defined and flowing from their 34th gate, and where there is a link between the 34th gate, this is known as a true manifesting generator. Manifesting Generators - you are the life of the party! With an enveloping, open aura, you're designed to live a life filled with satisfaction, joy, peace, passion, and desire - when you are feeling this, you are in alignment with your human design. All manifesting generators have a defined sacral and throat. The main difference between generators vs manifesting generators, is that while generators like to achieve mastery in one area before moving on, MGs are the jack of all trades, moving from thing to thing, based on the desires of their sacral. They are likely to try lots of different things. As I stated, all generator types have a defined sacral center. For a sacral being, feeling satisfaction in day-to-day life is paramount. For an MG, the warning signal of frustration usually leads to anger too, the more frustrated you feel, the angrier you get. For both generator types, your first step to alignment is beginning to release as much of what's bringing frustration into your life, while maximising moments of satisfactions and/or peace.
Manifestor Self Theme: Peace Not-Self Theme: Anger Manifestors are powerhouses! If you're a manifestor you have a closed aura, this means that your energy isn't as welcoming or open as the generator/manifesting generator, but that's a good thing for you! You're here to initiate and take action. To be the just do it people. All manifestors have a defined throat. You are here to activate your voice, be seen and heard, and to do your thing the way you want to do it. You aren't here to be swayed by others or to work too much. This is for the generator types, who have the sacral energy to do so. However, you have this uncanny ability to just do it - you self-initiate and hate asking for permission. You're the go-getter, hustle types. As a manifestor, you are a natural born leader. The difference between you and an MG is that you have an undefined/open sacral, which means you have a lot of power to initiate and begin things, but having generator types working with you can be extremely beneficial to fulfilling your vision. You know you're in alignment when you feel peaceful, but when you're misaligned you'll become very angry in your life. The process of deconditioning the anger, begins with finding healthy outlets and beginning to become aware of what makes you angry and moving away from this. Your strategy will help immensely with this (will explain strategy in a separate post.) The first step in this process is to decondition the anger from childhood when others tried to control you or rein you in.
Projector Self Theme: Success Not-Self Theme: Bitterness Projectors - so beautiful! Projectors are the people who know how to read between the lines, and truly are able to see other people, especially generators and manifesting generators. In traditional human design, the projectors are here to help or lead the generator types. As the name suggests, people project onto them a lot. All projectors have an undefined/open sacral, and therefore do not have the energy to work too much. They are here to rest a lot more, and to be wise guides. When operating in alignment projectors will be noticed and seen for their gifts and talents. Your self-theme is success, you are designed for success! And so noticing and receiving the success is important. Don't keep focusing on what you don't have, focus on the success you do have and allow that to build in your life. When you don't, you fall into your not-self theme of bitterness.
Reflector Self Theme: Surprise Not-Self Theme: Disappointment Reflectors make up only 1% of the population and have no centers defined. They have innate wisdom about other people. You have a genuine gift of seeing other people and as the name suggests, reflecting them. This means to be in your self theme, it's really important you choose the right people to spend your time with, and to be in the correct environment. Otherwise, you will be conditioned by environments and people who are not healthy for you. You have an in-built feeling of disappointment at humanity, because you understand so deeply the nature of the world, and therefore your gift is the ability to heal. Your self-theme is surprise. When you follow your strategy, you begin to have moments of surprise that are incredibly delightful. You love the surprises that happen and the unique people you meet. Tap into that more than the dissapointment at humanity. And if you choose, you can use your innate wisdom to help others.
Each of these types operates differently and has a different energetic signature. Most people are not operating out of the highest frequency of their human design type and self theme, because of the world we live in. I'll be making a seperate post about strategies for the 5 types, which is how you begin to deconditon and live in alignment with your self theme.
Pay attention: human design is an experiment. Learning about human design isn't going to transform anything in your life. If you really want to play with this, introduce and spend time cultivating more of the self theme in your body, begin prioritizing that feeling. So if you're a generator/manifesting generator, feel into what makes you feel satisfied, for a projector, what makes you feel successful, etc. Your not-self theme is an inborn part of you, but the deconditioning process is to feel more of your self theme. Some good prompts:
Awareness: begin noticing what it is that keeps you from your self theme. For example: if you're a generator, are tech issues causing you frustration? If you're a projector, is your peceived lack of success leading to feelings of bitterness?
What helps you feel your self theme? Can you introduce more of that into your life?
Take moments in your day/week where you're in your self theme.
How can you introduce more of your self theme into your daily life?
If you don’t understand all the human design language, just use the basics for now or send me a msg. Be back in my next post with an explanation of the centres.

Number 30? :)
#30: name something(s) that remind you of home (doesn't have to be your house)
well, there's this river in my hometown that's been important to me for most of my life. I first started going there when I was a kid, my dad used to take me in the summertime when it got too hot but the lake was too crowded. it's usually too cold to swim in (it's mountain runoff, so basically melted snow), but if it's warm enough you can wade in and feel the flow of the water. it gets pretty fast, and the pressure is nice, if you're sturdy enough to handle it.
one summer I rode down it in an inflatable tube with my family, but at the time I hated it because the water was too cold. the memory is still a fond one for me, though. we would also usually take our dogs with us, and as I've had many dogs over the course of my life, it feels almost generational to picture all of them wading through that water. one year, our bulldog, or maybe our husky (sadly no longer with us, but the bulldog is still going strong ❤️), I don't remember which, got swept up in the current and ended up floating for a good minute or so before we caught up and got em. it was scary at the time of course, but funny in hindsight.
eventually as I got older, we stopped taking family trips to the river, but I've never stopped going. these days, it's more often than not my place of comfort when I'm in a really bad state of mind. but I've lived a lot at that river, I've taken dates and friends there, I've had sex there, I've been alone there for hours, I've written and drawn there and hiked its surrounding areas. it's a very important place for me and always somewhere I'll return to to remind myself of the good parts of my life, or to think through important decisions. there's something comforting in the eternal current of a river, to me. rocks, trees and debris pile in their depths, but their course is forever certain and unchanging. a river will cut through earth to chart its own course against all will of its surrounding environment. I like to think people are the same way.
thanks a bunch for this ask, it really got me thinking about that place, and I love to talk about it. I've visited recently, but I may need to again, especially if this heat keeps up the way its been going.

Here, My Dear by Marvin Gaye
Released December 15, 1978
As its 44th birthday approaches, Here, My Dear could be classified as an unsung hero in Marvin Gaye’s wide catalogue, in that a casual fan may not have ever heard of the album once in their lives. This catalogue is one that spans across decades – even posthumously – with several studio and live releases (or re-releases) being made from 1985 to 2022 following his untimely death in April 1984 at the age of 44, just one day shy of his 45th birthday. Through the consistent success and acclaim of albums in his repertoire, such as 1971’s What’s Going On and 1973’s Let’s Get It On which are both enjoyed by people of all ages and tastes, Here, My Dear often flies under the radar, despite it beginning to accumulate the recognition and acclaim it deserved from its very release over subsequent years.
Here, My Dear is a representation, a musical memoir of sorts, of Gaye’s turbulent divorce from his first wife Anna Gordy. Every song – with the exception of Anger, Everybody Needs Love, and Sparrow – was written solely by Gaye himself (sometimes on the spot), and through his vocals the emotions flow with no bounds – from pen to paper, from speakers to ears. Even outside of the context of the album, without music being put to them, the lyrics are a much-needed and undoubtedly eloquent outpour of the gritty events that troubled its writer, and are pure poetry amongst an already rich genre that was 1970s era Soul. This album, in fact, could be considered a testament to what Soul is truly about at its very core. Or perhaps it’s a testament to Gaye’s soaring ability to be brutally honest and open in his writing, creating landmark tracks like When Did You Stop Loving Me, When Did I Stop Loving You that delved into his mindset at the time and captured emotional turmoil in its purest form through a stunning bittersweet ode to his ex-wife that covered love, eventual loss of love, and God’s judgment, in just over 6 minutes.
Marvin Gaye’s iconic buttery-smooth vocal delivery is now cut with an additional edge of rawness – and the pleasing, textured instrumentals on the record (complete with bells and whistles like the saxophone in Sparrow and the scattered, glittery keys in Anna’s Song) are only part of what makes this album memorable. If you were to lay out each and every nuance it would take hours, and surely, Here, My Dear is one of those special albums where you could pick out something new that you hadn’t previously heard or appreciated before with every listen.
The commercial failure of the album discouraged Gaye heavily – with it reaching only 26 on the pop charts (and becoming his lowest charting album of the 70s) – and he cut promotion early while also juggling the failure of his second marriage to Janis Hunter. The last few years of his life are a heavy account of their own, filled to the brim with emotional issues, an increasingly detrimental addiction to cocaine, and mental health crises.
One may see it that if one thing was owed to him in his final years, it was to be able to witness the dishing out of proper accolades for Here, My Dear, one of the most painful yet utterly real glimpses into a superstar’s life to date.

Mastering the Mix: All You Need to Craft Your Dream Wedding Reception Playlist
Tumblr media
When it comes to wedding planning, one of the most exhilarating yet challenging tasks is crafting the perfect reception playlist. Music sets the tone for your celebration, and the right mix can turn a good party into an unforgettable one. That's where the expertise of a wedding DJ comes into play. This guide will walk you through the essential steps for collaborating with your wedding DJ to create a playlist that embodies the essence of your special day.
Understanding the Role of a Wedding DJ
A top-tier wedding DJ does more than just play music; they uplift the atmosphere of your reception, engaging guests and creating a smooth flow of entertainment. The best wedding DJs are adept at reading the room, making live adjustments to keep the energy high, and ensuring your dance floor remains vibrant throughout the night.
Creating Your Must-Play List
Personal Favorites and Memories: Start by listing songs that are significant to you and your partner. These tracks can range from the song playing during your first date to the anthem of a memorable vacation. These selections help personalize your wedding reception, making it truly your own.
Guest Considerations: Expand your list by considering your guests. Incorporate songs that resonate across generations and musical tastes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Remember, diversity in your playlist will keep your dance floor interesting and inclusive.
Formulating a Do-Not-Play List
Equally crucial is specifying which songs or genres to avoid. This list ensures the DJ steers clear of music that may dampen the mood or spark unintended controversy. Clear communication about your preferences prevents any mishaps and helps maintain the desired atmosphere at your reception.
Tips for Crafting the Perfect Playlist
Rely on Professional Insight: While it’s important to share your preferences, trusting the expertise of your wedding DJ is vital. They have the experience to fine-tune your playlist, ensuring it reflects your taste while keeping the party alive.
Crossover Appeal: Aim for a mix that crosses generational lines and musical genres. A well-curated playlist by a skilled wedding DJ can introduce a harmonious blend of classic hits and contemporary chart-toppers, catering to all attendees.
Inclusivity is Key: Consider incorporating song suggestions from your guests. Including a song request option in your RSVPs is a thoughtful way to involve them in the celebration and diversify your playlist.
Balance is Everything: Ensure your playlist offers a balance between slow dances and upbeat numbers. This variety keeps the energy dynamic, offering moments for romance and high-energy dancing alike.
Trust Your DJ: Your wedding DJ is instrumental in adapting the playlist to the mood of your reception. Their ability to intuitively respond to the crowd ensures your celebration remains lively and engaging.
Partnering with the Best Wedding DJ for an Illustrious Reception
Composing your dream wedding reception playlist involves a blend of personalization, inclusivity, and professional insight. By collaborating with the wedding DJ, you ensure that your musical backdrop is as memorable and unique as your love story. Remember, the right DJ will not only respect your musical preferences but also enhance them, creating an atmosphere where every guest feels compelled to hit the dance floor.

3, 14, 33, 36, 52, 71, 100?
Ahh, thank you!! :D!!! I'm gonna put this under a readmore for length purposes!!
3: Top 3 vacation destinations?
Rome, Italy. I know it's touristy, I know, but I gotta see the ruins. Same with Athens or Crete, Greece. I have to go to New Orleans, LA, at some point, too!
14: Top 3 romantic dates?
So, the dates I've gone on haven't been good, lol, so I'll answer with the dates I'd like to go on.
Ghost hunting. Now this works as a first date or a few dates in! It's fun, it lets you see your potential partner in a fear situation, and you get to see how open/respectful they are to the more spiritual side of life. And I just really want to go ghost hunting, I've never been yet and I really want to.
Bowling! It can be romantic if you make it, plus it's really fun, and I'm unnaturally good at the claw machine game they always have there.
Dinner and a walk. Speaks for itself, can be dressed up or dressed down, and I just like goin on walks. That's romantic!
33: Top 3 things you'd buy if you gained three million dollars?
My future Victorian home. I've had dreams that I've owned one and I just love them so much. They have so much character, and the craftsmanship is so impeccable - I would love to steward one, and preserve it, and love it.
My dad's always said that when I get famous from my books I have to buy him an Aston Martin DB9. so that.
My freedom, by paying off my student loans 😅. If not that, then...fuck, either a museum quality Megalodon tooth or a me-sized, game accurate, fully working/sharpened Areondight from Witcher 3.
36: Top 3 books from your childhood?
Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan, The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket, and The Complete Stories of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
52: Top 3 bad habits?
I can emotionally spiral. It doesn't happen often, but if I've been going through a rough time and I have a bad day, I tend to latch onto that bad feeling and ruminate. I sit in that so long that I start picking out other bad things that have happened and it compounds that original bad feeling until I'm really upset. Like listening to a really sad song when you're already worked up, except there's no catharsis of crying. It's just anxiety and bad thoughts until I can talk myself down or logic puzzle my way out of it.
In a similar vein, I keep my anger inside. I've been trying to work on this, but sometimes I do that horrible bottling up thing, where you store emotions away in a bottle, until the bottle shatters, and you let it all out at once. That's me with anger, specifically. I'm pretty good at tempering my other emotions and letting them out when I'm alone, but anger is one that's just hard for me to figure out, besides...going silent and keeping it in.
And I think that's because I don't want to say anything to make the situation worse, or say something I'll regret (bc I can have a mouth on me when I'm pissed). I don't have it figured out yet, but I'm trying. The sweet woman who read my birth chart mentioned that I need to be like a lava flow and let it be a constant flow of emotion instead of a volcanic eruption, which makes sense.
Anyway.
I can't really think of a third one that's super pressing - but I can still sometimes overthink and let the Anxiety take over my brain for a bit. I've learned how to calm down and stop that from happening, but I do sometimes slip.
71: Top 3 songs of this month?
Bro songs change for me by the day. But the ones I've been listening to most recently are: Enjoy Your Slay by Ice Nine Kills, I Don't Want to Change the World by Ozzy, and Rock the Night by Europe.
100: Top 3 museums you've been to?
The National Gallery in London, The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in DC, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY.

You know what I find ironic (and funny) the name Paz Viszla. Because knowing how short-tempered and belligerent all members of clan Vizsla are, they dared to name someone Paz, which is Spanish for peace. They did that

You know what I love about Andor, among other things, that it shows that fighting the empire is a collaborative effort. That people helping each other can accomplish the unthinkable; that they don't need to be a hero that did a big, flashy thing to matter and be just as heroic.
That as the episode title suggests, sometimes, there's only one way to go, one way out. It's ride or die.

Frigga's Day of Venus energy
Happy Frigg's Day, day of Venus energy. I know you have been enjoying Venus' show this week, along with her buddy, Jupiter and co-hort, the moon. The moon has moved on into Taurus which Venus rules. Both Venus and Taurus rule the second house with issues like finances, the way you earn your keep, and your sense of self-worth.
Venus and Jupiter both want us to have all good things. Well -- not ALL of them. Try to hoard or be greedy and this shows you feel lack in your sense of self worth and all good things will begin to dissipate. Either Saturn will move in with hardships that take what you've earned or Neptune will dissolve your dragon's hoard, or Mars will give you a fever and chills and get your aggressive clutching under scrutiny.
Always, there are checks and balances. Jupiter balanced by Saturn is a prime example of this. When I started to learn astrology, (twenty-one years ago), I noticed that the glyphs of Jupiter and of Saturn were similar. I thought of a way to distinguish them. If you pick up your cross of Saturn, you can flow with it. If you flow too much in Jupiter, you will come to a hardship. Look at the glyphs and you will see what I mean.
Venus is a circle of all good things brought down into the material realm. Now, that one I did not make up -- I found that quite recently. It would have helped me distinguish between the glypsh of Venus and Mars. These two are also a pair. You've heard of Venus and Mars on a date? Venus has a circle with a cross underneath and Mars has a circle with an arrow pointing up. You can figure out your own symbolism there.
Venus wants us to have good things, to provide for our security, but will only bring those things into our sphere of possibility as we learn to value ourselves. We have less because we settle for less. Yet, balance is the key. If we try to grab every flashy thing we see, this points to an imbalance. Why do we "need" that to make us feel worth something? If you define yourself by the clothes you wear, the car you drive and things you can afford, you are showing a poverty of spirit. The universe will try to fix that for you when the timing (transit) is right. (And by fix, I mean take it all away so you can find your core value without all those things.)
Look for Venus in your chart. There is wealth of information concerning just this one planet. (And every other one planet). Try this: Every Friday, write a letter from your higher self about your worthiness and accomplishments. Outline goals. Ask our mutal Mama to help you manifest good things in your life. A great time to work on your vision board or adopt affirmations and a positive mantra.
Remember that the Universe gives you more of what you talk about the most.
"Finally sister-witches, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsover things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Phillipians 4:8 KJV (slightly revised)

How To Organize A New Production Facility?
As businesses continue to grow, they'll inevitably require additional production facilities to accommodate the increased demand. Setting up a new production facility can seem like an overwhelming task, but it can be an efficient and exciting process with the proper planning. It requires organization, forethought, and detailed planning in order to get it up and running quickly and smoothly. In this article, you will learn the steps you should take when organizing a new production facility, covering everything from deciding the best location for your facility to selecting the right equipment and personnel for the job. Furthermore, it will discuss how to ensure the facility is optimized to increase efficiency, minimize costs, and maintain high levels of quality. By the end of this post, you'll have the tools and knowledge you need to get your production facility up and running as expediently as possible.
Design the Layout of the Facility
Organizing a new production facility begins with the design of its layout, which includes choosing the size and shape of the building, placing equipment, and deciding what departments to create. You should design the area to optimize efficiency and minimize waste in the production process from beginning to end. Plan ahead and think about how the production process will flow from beginning to end. Additionally, the layout should be suitable for the production process and the capability of the equipment.
When designing the arrangement, you should also examine how you will keep track of your new equipment and how easy it will be to maintain them and keep a detailed maintenance record. One of the best options for this task is to use dedicated data plates for industrial use (vital to withstand use in industrial settings) that you can pin to each piece of machinery, replete with relevant data. Although this might not seem like a task related to designing the layout, you will need to consider where each piece of equipment will be located to see the data efficiently, reducing the chance of injury or damage.
Purchase Necessary Equipment
When you have determined the size and scope of your production facility, you need to purchase the appropriate equipment. The best products for your needs and budget need careful consideration and research, meaning that you should take into account the cost of both new and used equipment, as well as the cost of repair and maintenance. Additionally, you must consider the size and compatibility of the equipment with your production facility. Purchasing the necessary equipment requires a balance between quality and quantity that is both cost-effective and efficient.
Set Up Process Flows
In order to map out every step in the production process, you need to identify what operations your production facility must support. Process flow charts are the most effective way to map out each step. The process flow should include supplies required for each step, machines needed, people involved, and the expected outcomes. Doing so will allow you to visualize how the process should be performed and make changes as required. A process flow should also include checkpoints for quality assurance, which will help identify any issues with the process before they become more serious.
Establish Quality Controls
Having established the systems and processes, it is essential to establish quality controls. A quality control procedure ensures that the product meets the specified standards. You should inspect incoming materials and products tested during production, and finished products should be inspected and tested as part of quality control procedures. In order to ensure that these procedures are correctly and consistently followed, they should be documented. Any production facility worth its salt should regularly review its quality control procedures to ensure that they are relevant and up-to-date, which ensures that products are up to customer expectations and comply with various regulations.
Train Employees on Production Procedures
The training of employees on production procedures is another important step toward setting up an efficient, productive, and safe production facility. It is crucial that production employees be taught safe, efficient, and cost-effective procedures specifically tailored to the production process as part of any successful business. In addition to how to safely use equipment and tools, how to handle materials properly, and how to troubleshoot and resolve production-related problems, training should also include troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues. You should customize the training materials based on the specific production processes and procedures used in the new facility.
A well-planned layout, the right equipment, and a safe and comfortable working environment can ensure that your facility is capable of producing quality goods efficiently. In order to ensure that your production facility is up and running quickly and efficiently, you need to prepare and know what you're doing.

Zoho mail zoho books projects tasks
Tumblr media
Zoho Projects can help you keep your files organized, so your team can access and share files without any hassle. It allows you to see your workflow as cards, so that you can sort by percentage completed, priority, or task list. One of the most outstanding features of project planning is the Kanban. Creating a dependency means that one task is dependent on another, so your team members won’t be able to move forward with another task until the dependent task has been completed. You also have access to all of your projects, so you’ll know whom each task is assigned to, which deadlines are coming up, and a comprehensive view of each project.īesides, you can break your main tasks into subtasks, write comments on tasks, and view tasks by dependency. Zoho Projects lets you break down your tasks into easy-to-manage pieces. For example, if you want to sort your projects according to their completion status, you can switch the view to display the upcoming due dates first. The feature also enables you to switch the views of the chart based on your preference. Gantt charts make it simple to schedule or reorganize your tasks, drag and drop a task from one area to another, and more. Each category could be assigned a different color, making it effortless to identify and distinguish between various tasks. With this feature, you can check every detail of your project, including task lists, milestones, completeness status, overdue tasks, and dependencies. Gantt charts let you visualize the progress of your tasks. This makes management work easy by removing recurring work, alerting the right people at the right time, as well as ensuring the right process is being followed throughout the project implementation. This feature helps you create your own blueprint by designing the process flow, configuring the setting, and easily executing the process. It’s well known for its Blueprint feature, which was designed to automate various tasks by setting up the workflow. Zoho Projects allows you to automate your tasks, meaning that you can set time for adding a task or event reminder. However, it’s also worth noting that many of the following features are only available in the more expensive pricing plans or add-ons. Zoho Projects offers various project management tools, far more than the usual online task management solution. Nowadays, the corporation deals with network and IT management and powers more than 50 million users across the globe. Established as AdventNet in 1996, Zoho began as a network management company. Zoho Projects is an app under the umbrella of the versatile Zoho Corporation. With this software, you can plan your work, track it efficiently, as well as collaborate with your team wherever they are. Zoho Projects, as its name suggests, is a cloud-based project management platform that helps teams and businesses manage both simple and complicated projects. We’ll give you an in-depth look into the key features, ease of use, pros & cons, top alternatives to Zoho Projects, and many more. One of them is Zoho Projects, which will be analyzed and evaluated by our team in this blog post. This may hinder your ability to satisfy your clients’ needs or hit end-of-year goals, and eventually lead to major losses over time.įortunately, there are numerous project management solutions out there for you to choose. You will often have multiple projects for multiple clients, and getting it all done can be hard to effectively organize. It is understood, though, that taking on and managing multiple work-based projects can be a drain on resources. It seems like you are doing more for your clients than ever before. Not to mention handling special events, traditional deliverables, and so on. You are expected to manage a number of projects, such as website maintenance, email marketing, blogging, and automation. Today’s workspace is challenging, with complicated marketing tasks becoming the norm.

In this case, a great user experience revolves around a design that offers such strategic services. However, one day the user may also want to start saving or investing. Most fintech solutions are used to perform unavoidable tasks such as paying bills or filling out tax returns. to create a unique experience for mobile users and encourage them to try the app again, but do not go too far. Add gamified elements like rewards, quizzes, badges, progress displays, etc. Gamification increases engagement, yet it can either make or break the app. Users take their interactions with fintech solutions seriously, but that does not mean they do not want to have a little fun. Simple navigation ensures ease of use throughout the entire user journey and gives users confidence in managing their finances with your solution.
