the difference between medically necessary and cosmetic surgery is that in medically necessary surgery, the risk of not having surgery outweighs the surgery’s risks. In cosmetic surgery, you are choosing to have all the risks of a surgery just to look different. i wouldnt be here if i didnt find cosmetic procedures attractive, but i do wonder how many people would have them done if they truly understood the risk

oh, yeah, I forgot about that part somehow. what surprised me was finding out how much upkeep is involved when it comes to cosmetic procedures. its not usually a one and done thing. even if the surgery is successful you need to do so much maintenance to support the work you had done and then routinely get refilled, resculpted, or relifted. it seems like a lot of work just to be hot. i guess being hot is already hard work? but still, not that much. not to mention, depending on what you got done or how often even if you decide to dissolve it all later in life you're usually still stuck with only a semi-natural look. what i mean is, it can permanently alter your physical appearance.
