wow i rlly hate finishing a series i love ;;;

when i was in middle school i found comfort in tv shows and books, recently i haven’t been able to watch as many shows as i want or read basically any book, watch any anime… idk what it was, but i spent my days watching tv shows. i have watched so many shows, i was caught up on quite a lot of shows and would watch the new episodes right as they came out and tbh i miss that time when i was able to do that ;;

when i was younger i didn’t care about romance stories, i wouldn’t watch romance movies or read romance books but as i grew up i started getting interested by that topic… i would get attached to fictional characters and their love stories, the fandom ships, and overall just how romance was portrayed because i’ve never experienced it before… i loved dramatic love stories but also the rlly sweet and fluffy stories too!! so yeah i would turn to romance shows when i needed some comfort.

in 2021 i had one of the worse years i’ve had in a while… end of high school, applications for college, not knowing what i wanted to do after graduating, rlly big anxiety and health issues… that summer i came across a new show and got rlly into it, which didnt happen for a while cause i was legit depressed and not feeling like i could do anything, so i stopped watching new shows and all that… that show rlly made me happy! i started to draw a bit more thanks to it!

today, the last episode of that show came out and as much as i loved the ending, it’s been like 30 minutes since the episode finished and i can’t stop crying ;; i just feel an emptiness in my heart, like idk i just feel numb. like it’s not even my favorite show, i just felt so connected to the main character and stuff happening that it rlly just feels like i got rid of a part of me?? if that makes sense??

synopsis: you and Maki were always best friends, since the very beginning. you two've been through thicc and thin together for 17 long years. what happens when all of that goes away so suddenly?

It was horrible. The text just sent to you left you in pieces. Billions of little pieces that nobody was able to pick up.

Not even Maki.

For the longest time, you and her have been the best of friends. Inseparable, even. It'd been on one sunny day in your Pre-K class when you'd been sitting on the swings by yourself when a girl with beautiful green hair and bangs came up to you with a simple,

"Hello" A girl said; holding her hands nervously. You looked up from the ground and up at her.

"Hi" You responded quietly. A couple more seconds of silence goes by, and neither of you say a word.

"...I'm Maki" The girl introduced herself. You blinked back in response.

"I'm Y/n. It's very nice to meet you, Maki" You finally said, cheerfully. Maki smiled back and got on the swing next to you.

"Do you wanna be friends?" You asked, turning your head next to her. A wide smile grew on her face and she nodded.

And that was how it started.

From the first meeting, to the last goodbye, and everything in between those 17 years all went by in the blink of an eye. And it hurt you.

It hurt you so bad to see her hanging out with someone else, looking at them the same way she'd been looking at you just some days ago. Full of joy and happiness.

Seeing her be happy with another person made your heart ache and shatter into a million little pieces. You hated yourself.

You hated yourself.

You'd been hating yourself for so long that you were afraid you'd never go back to being your old, cheery self. It killed you to see Maki laughing her ass off, hanging out together outside of school, doing all the other things you two did.

You wanted to apologize to her in person, to make her see what the fuck she did to you. To see how fucked up you've gotten. To watch the look on her face when you break down crying right in front of her own eyes just so she could see the pain she fucking put you through.

You wanted to see her again. Not from afar, but up close. Shame washed over you when you would sometimes scroll by her contact, and notice that it's been 1..2...6 weeks since you've last spoken.

That time frame doesn't seem like a lot, but the lonely feeling that haunted you made it feel like 1,000 years; still being 1,000 miles away from Maki.

You wanted to take it back. You wanted to take back all your mistakes, but life has horribly shown you that there's no way of doing that.

You longed for it back. And no matter how much you pleaded to the Gods above you, they always turned a deaf ear to your cries.

Those 6 weeks turned into 6 months without Maki. Even though she never moved away, still went to the same school, you still saw her in the hallways,

She still felt 1,000 miles away.

As cheol said, he needs to put himself in her shoes like the underdeveloped eq jh has in this 💀. Goes from i hate you to i love you in a week and wonders why his sincerity didn't reach. i sweaaaaar he frustrates me like nobody else ughhhh the way you made his flawed character was so good like u had me feeling so much anger over a fanfiction 😆. It balanced out so nicely like the cluesless jh and cheol who sees the bigger picture and wants his friends happiness and then reader who is passionate in her love and jihoon who is really mellow but sees everything for what it is. Like jh excited her but a love like dk feels more like home, you know? What i would tell reader if i could is that life is sooo much more than that boy you think is ur first and last love. Sometimes what u really need is ur friends and to enjoy your youth bc this aint it and in my humble opinion jeonghan is not it for her. how i feel about this character:

I LOVE CAT i love him so so much. he's so funny and iconic and just. a pleasure to witness. it's always so fun to see what new outfits he wears in each episode hehe. im always a sucker for humanoid characters with animal traits as well, im kind of a furry/furry-adjacent so obv that aspect of him appeals to me too........ he was actually my favourite character for a while before he got beaten by rimmer and then by lister but he's still very dear to my heart

any/all the people i ship romantically with this character:

nobody! my personal headcanon for the cat is that he's aromantic so i don't ship him romantically with anyone, he's expressed multiple times that he gets confused or revolted by the idea of committed romantic relationships and i can't imagine that it would be something he'd derive happiness from. just my personal headcanon though ofc

my favourite non-romantic relationship for this character:

oh definitely his friendship with lister! i love love love how they can be partners in crime sometimes and how cat seems to have a weird kind of respect for lister (at least compared to how he feels abt rimmer lol). it's very very funny how lister is technically the god of cat's species and the whole reason why he's even alive in the first place and yet cat just Doesn't Care abt it. i love how in earlier seasons lister would treat cat more like a cat sometimes...... ik it's definitely not canon but i like to think that he still does cat stuff with him sometimes like getting him to chase laser pointers and string. i also think cat should snuggle up to lister sometimes and complain abt his smell the whole time but he also spends hours like that bc he enjoys it. imagining rimmer walking in one day to see lister playing video games with the cat just curled up on his lap and he immediately turns 180° and walks back out of the room LMAO

my unpopular opinion about this character:

call me a sap if you want but i do think he cares abt his friends. i think he loves and cares abt them deep down and idc what anyone says, even canon. if you've ever been friends with a real kitty you'll know that they can be extremely affectionate loving creatures, and although cat himself is pretty aloof i like to believe he has a loving side deep down. very deep down.

one thing i wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon:

i would love to see more of the other cats! also the whole thing of "coolness" being an expression of atheism in cats is so funny and i would have loved to see more of his fellow Cool Cats that don't follow "cloister's" teachings. i also would love to see him doing more cat-things in the modern series like he used to do back in the first two seasons especially, like playing with his food and scent marking by spraying perfume on everything and stuff like that. he doesn't do as much of that stuff as the show goes on and i miss it

for starters, i’d say that any of his asmrs can 100% be enjoyed as a stand-alone video so going in any kind of chronological order doesn’t matter too much. that being said, a good portion of the earlier asmrs are loosely connected by a small plotline where listener was basically fucking their way through different renditions of vox ie after fucking pilot vox you go to box tenshi (vox’s joke alter-ego turned angel priest asmr boy) to confess in the next video and then cop vox arrests you for fucking around in the next video, so on and so forth. none of them are that contingent upon being caught up for you to truly enjoy them, but the connections are a really fun way of making the asmrs feel like a plot/story so they’re best when you watch them in order by post date.

some of the asmrs are completely standalone ie they don’t connect to any previous ones like the merman asmr. if you like to ~theorize~ you’ll probably find that merman asmr is briefly referenced in the subsequent butler asmr, but the merman asmr itself doesn’t build upon any previous ones. rlly you can jump in just about anywhere hehe, pick one that strikes ur interest and go from there!

HI DEAR LAB!!!! thank you for the excellent questions :3 He actually looks a LOT like her, and this just came up in the part i'm writing so it's great timing! Unlike junpei who looks like his father, the leader takes after hitomi A LOT both in terms of features and mannerisms. he also has hypoandrogenism and thus ended up looking a lot more feminine than an average man, which makes the resemblance to his mother even greater. this is pretty haunting for him honestly, especially after her death!

His feelings towards women... he probably thinks he feels strange around women, but i'd say it's because he can empathize with them more than he can empathize with other men. what should have been comfort around them turned into an awkwardness because of his circumstances. however, he has three close female friends who will be bg characters in the vn, who probably would have been the closest people to him if it were not for ryuzakis influence! his feelings on women are really complex... i think a surface level reader might even say hes a misogynist for how he looked upon his mother after finding out about her profession, but in my opinion he was just too young to process his grief and shock and ended up saying things he didnt truly mean.

the plan was originally to go to some nearby islands but then we checked the prices and it was so expensive 💀 so my parents decided to just go on their own when i resume school again in sept lmao. but also i got quite a lot of uni prep to do so we also decided to do the family trip another time

the potteries are pre-made! we just did the painting portion it was so fun. i painted some frogs on mine they looked super cute after im so happy with it. my friends and i discussed that we should take classes to actually make pottery some day and i can make a cute little bowl or wtv is the most beginner item lol
