OK SO. this made me realize that most people genuinely don't know about the murder dungeon allegations.
To summ it up, he lured in people to rob his house, put them in The Murder Dungeon (actually a tower, but... rule of funny. it sounds funnier that way), and Bontarian government did NOTHING about for years, and even placed a statue in his honor despite that.

44. Pokemon Crystal (GBC, 2000)
Huh! Didnt expect to get back into pokemon this year! Ive only played 3 games before tackling this one.
X, Sun and Ultra Moon.
I enjoyed them quite alot!
I was expecting something that was a little rough in some corners but was still enjoyable but to my surprise, it holds up really well!!
Im going to be fully transparent and just tell you to try it out if you want a fun RPG. Its great!!
So where do I begin!
Uhh. Johto is super fun to explore! They made it in such a way that going back to previous areas is quick and easy. Once you get the bike you can go zooming all over the region in little to no time!
Going back to previous towns to gather items, do daily events and fill the pokedex is not tedius at all!
It also makes exploring the region for secret goodies a whole lot of fun.
Johto has such a unique flavor compared to every other region in the series, its just a treat through and through!
even crazier is that they put the entirety of kanto as post game!! thats nuts! you get a whole new area to explore which will take you 18-30 hours to check ever corner of it and you get the WHOLE REGION OF THE PREVIOUS GAME
Pokemon Crystal provides so much content its impresive! I was always in awe at how they managed to fit such a big game into such a small cartridge!!
Especially considering the game has sprites for so many differnt types of pokemon- with animations!! This was the game that introduced the animated sprites!!
(This was played on the 3DS virtual console release)
They look so nice!! the sprites are super charming in general! the upgrade to gameboy color makes the game a treat for the eyes, the spritework is just really really nice.
I know im the thousanth person to suck off pokemon for being... pokemon. An international sensation but what can I say! its fun!
Alright combat... yeah its pokemon alright, its pretty basic working on a rock paper scizor weakness wheel... well like three wheels but you get the idea.
Its simple but engaging enough and you have some liberty in how you make your team with TMs... I say that but they are one use items here... that sucks ngl.
Actually I think thats a good place to start with a couple of areas the game could be better.
To start, walking. The areas are small enough so walking isnt bad, the speed is manageable but it might test the patience of some players.
It takes a solid bit to get the bicycle (jeez idk if I want to play red and blue knowing theres no bike)
Again, one use TMs.
why. The only thing that acomplishes is limit how the player can build their team greatly.
VERY easy to miss things. You can miss the radio chip and map chip easly (I was REALLY CLOSE to missing them), exploration would be way more annoying without the map
Those are some of the mayor complains I have, other than that... yeah I dont have alot that I hate! its a lovely time.

in the beginning of the relationship, he would definitely be very hesitant to show physical or verbal affection since it wasn’t something he was used to. he’d show his love with acts of service and giving, most likely. (giving his s/o one of the devas if he knew they’d be separated for a short period of time, bringing them small trinkets he found like pretty rocks or bones, helping them with homework, etc.)
as time goes on, though, he’d become more comfortable with showing physical affection and would grow to become a huge cuddle bug!!! please hug him for me
b = best friend (what would they be like as a best friend?)
literally the coolest friend ever. especially if you had an alternative fashion sense, he’d be so down to go clothes shopping with you LMAO
if you were okay initiating physical affection outside of a romantic relationship, and were able to make him comfortable with that, he’d totally be That Friend who cuddles with you all the time!! he’d never mention it though, and would die on impact if you brought it up in front of any of his other friends/classmates

once he’s comfortable with it, yeah! he’s definitely super touch starved because of him not having friends most of his life, so having someone to cuddle would make his brain go ^^^^^

honestly, i can’t see him being the type to want to get married. he’d definitely want to settle down! but the idea of having a traditional wedding stresses him out. (of course, that doesn’t mean he’d be any less committed :))
g = gentle (how gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
dealing with small animals like the devas has left him gentle by nature!! he doesn’t even notice it, but he is always extremely careful with his s/o with the subconscious fear of accidentally hurting them/scaring them off :(
emotion wise, i think it’d be the same. when he cares about someone (whether it be romantic or platonic) he’s always cautious of teasing them too much since he knows that it can hurt sometimes.

i usually expect the intro to be like SUPER HYPE AND INTENSE yknow which it kinda is! however it is consistent that it fits very well and captures the overall vibe of the entire album the calm beginning with the bell like were walking into an establishment and at the halfway point it picks up its intriguing and the ‘i like you’ adds a subtle eeriness that adds just enough to make one wanna continue listening its v good 👌

LIKE this is COMPLETELY surprising album BUT IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE as its described it really is a ‘special’ album as while the title track still has their music style and sound theres still an element of summer (a very Terrifying™ summer BUT a ✨Summer✨ album nonetheless) like the b sides are SO different and COMPLETELY caught me off guard when i listened to the highlight medley YET this group of seven amazing and talented women pulled it off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its extremely obvious at this point that their steady and organic growth has grown VERY HIGH this time and (although im still very confused by how everything was released and announced BUT i digress) this different kind of method in performing the song the day before seemed to work?????????? Okay but I do actually want to know both the things you love and the things you could rant about from DCTL?
OH BOY UHHHHHH okay lets see, I'm gonna see if I can do the "add a readmore after you post it" thing and see if that'll keep it stable.......
But also, much like Sammy, I am incapable of shutting up unless you strike me in the head with a blunt object, so uh, forgive my wordiness:
THINGS I ENJOY:
- DCTL gave us Sammy's ink addiction and like, if you had asked me before all this "what would you most like to see in a franchise?" I would not have answered "one of the characters drinks ink accidentally and then discovers that he can't stop" but boy that sure is my favourite concept that I LOVE to see handled literally any other way than how the book handled it!!!
- I like what it added to Tom and Allison and Norman!! Like, it's not big twists on their characters or anything -- we already knew Tom felt he was doing the wrong thing, so getting to see his CRUSHING GUILT over creating the machine isn't New Information, but it's nice to see and understand more of him; for all of them I feel a lot more attached to them after getting to see more of them as people.
- Like 90% of the "I LOVE IT" category for me is how the book handled Joey, and Buddy's relationship with Joey. The way Joey isn't a Sinister Mastermind Who’s Just Screwing With Everyone but just manipulative in a more mundane way -- someone who thinks of himself as just the guy with the vision to call the shots; he wants what he wants and this is how he's learned to get it; he exploits people not through devious schemes, but just by offering them something that they want or need and asking too much in return, expecting their loyalty for his favours. And the way he interacts with Buddy, making Buddy complicit with him and keeping Buddy off-balance and insecure while making him a favourite and treating him as Special is just PERFECT -- gives a lot of content to kind of extrapolate off of when pondering what must've drawn the others in and convinced them to ignore the red flags. I was initially frustrated with the idea of Buddy not being an artist and jUST DECIDING TO LEARN TO ANIMATE ON THE SPOT ("I've never done this before but I'm sure I can just do an artist's job" is a weirdly common throwaway thing in media and as an artist iTS A PET PEEVE) but actually the way they use his plagiarism to make him trapped in a lie in ways Joey doesn't even realise ends up being a neat echo of other employees (coughTOMcough), who were involved in much graver sins but suddenly felt they couldn't object or they'd lose their one chance, just like Buddy. There's a lot here that I think is really great.
OKAY THATS THE GOOD STUFF, LET'S COMPLAIN ABOUT SAMMY:
- Uncomfortable Bigotry Vagueness that we all knew was gonna be in this list -- I dunno man, a guy committing a microaggression and getting startled and defensive when he's called out for it doesn't necessarily completely ruin his character I GUESS, but the way this was handled is just SO WEIRD AND VAGUE that it's uncomfortable and it doesn't seem to serve any real purpose. "Is Tom black?" is a question I actually have to ask because the text sort of implies he is while also dancing around it and apparently Word of God said he's not??? which makes Buddy's comment nonsensical???? And I mean, you could go that route, since Buddy wonders to himself if Sammy talks to everyone like this -- HE ACTUALLY DOES!! Even within the text of the novel, he uses "Joey" instead of Mr. Drew, which is consistent with his audiologs in the game -- but that makes the writing suggest "this character THINKS this guy might be racist but actually they're reading too much into it and it wasn't racially motivated at all, he's just a jerk!!" wHICH IS SOMEHOW EVEN MORE ICKY??? Anyway like yeah I guess it's not inconsistent with his character that while Sammy Lawrence may not have any specific grudge against minorities he has probably not checked his privilege or done the work to challenge his own internal biases, but “Your Fav Probably Contributes To Systemic Racism In Ways He Hasn’t Considered, As Do We All When Our Assumptions Go Unchecked” is still a wild thing to wade through in a fun story about demonic cartoons
- but yknow so is T H E H O L O C A U S T
- Sammy's voice is wrong. I'm actually okay with him being a weird awkward asshole, I already kind of assumed he was and that's part of why I like him!! but there's so many places he doesn't quite... talk like himself? And not just in terms of word choice, like -- so in his monologue at the end, he's described as talking so quickly that his words are "tumbling out faster than he can speak them," which initially seems fine; like yeah, that's a Standard Scene we're familiar with, the person who's been Driven Mad With Insight becoming more and more manic as they try to convey it -- until I tried to imagine it and realised that Sammy doesn't talk like this. That's a really consistent quality I always notice about his voice; whether he's almost giddily excited in prophet mode, or he’s his irritated and overworked human self, or he's violently angry and his voice has that echo effect -- he always speaks very deliberately. He enunciates carefully. There's some circumstances where I'd buy this as showing that he's Not Himself, but I feel like those would kind of need to be in the middle of his transformation, not at the end of it.
- In fact a lot of the scenes with Sammy kind of have this feeling -- that it's not necessarily an exploration of Sammy as a character, but that he is filling a trope or archetype role here. Once he's fully transformed he excitedly describes the process as more of a mental compulsion, which is in contrast to his weird yeerk-infected behaviour when trying to get ink from Miss Lambert. Both of those scenes don't seem wrong on their own because they fit tropes we know -- but they feel weird when you try to fit them together.
- I also just in general am not a fan of the ink acting like a weird yeerk. It can be a parasite I guess but when it starts overwriting and puppeting people and crawling around to enter their body that's just a completely DIFFERENT kind of supernatural story and it’s not what im here for!!!
- THE FREAKIN!!! HE WILL SET US FREE!!!! WHY????????? SAMUEL LAWRENCE WHAT IS HE SETTING YOU FREE FROM??????? Sammy has No Motive for any of what he's doing, other than just Ink Made Me Do It. The whole thing that was INTERESTING about Sammy as a character is the contrast between this frustrated, ornery musician with no specific love for the cartoons he works on, and the manically devoted cultist he becomes. What happened in the middle there? What made him desperate enough to shift his mindset so much? "Something supernatural made him do things that don't benefit him in any way" is a very boring answer to this question!!! Susie was a victim who implies that her transformation has forced her to do things she didn't want to do, but we can still see her motive -- she wanted to be Alice, so she took a sketchy offer to try to get what she wanted. Even now, her violence echoes that goal -- to be a more perfect Alice. What did Sammy want? WHO KNOWS. Even in his ink-addled state at the end, we don't understand what he hopes the Ink Demon will even do for him, and in fact he seems to be responsible for creating the very scenario he's begging Bendy to reverse in the game.

- Overall I'm left wondering if the author just..... didn't like Sammy Lawrence? And I don't mean that in the sense of him being a rude jerk -- like, Joey is not a good person, but the author seems to be interested in him and in what makes him tick. There doesn't seem to be that same interest in Sammy. Sammy's role in the story is that of a monster, transformed into something murderous, unable to prevent or choose it. He's not a victim of anyone but the ink, no one had to manipulate him or figure out how his brain worked or what he wanted or what he feared or give him any reason to do the things he does -- ink got in his mouth and overwrote his personality. And we don't even get to see that change, not really. He starts out angry and defensive and continues being angry and defensive up until his very last scene, denying his ink-stealing but not really much else. We see all his prophetic sketches but we never see hints of this in him, we never see him start to act more excited and hopeful, we never see him seek out the demon he desires to please. Why do we never see Sammy struggling between his dismissive angry front and a building religious fervour he can't quite suppress? We don't get to see any of the in-between. There's no interest at all in why or even what it looked like as Sammy became what he became, when, to be honest, I suspect interest in precisely that is one reason he's such a big fav.
- It's funny, in a "cries into my hands" kind of way, when Sammy is just knocked in the head while monologuing and immediately removed from the story without further mention, like...... that sure is the pattern with him, isn't it, he just tries very very hard and never actually gets to matter, but it also fits right in here, too, in this book that doesn't want to think about his motives -- he rambles nonsensically, explaining nothing, gets one trademark phrase, and then is hastily removed so the story doesn't have to think about him anymore.
...................I think that's most of it.

Clarke Griffin Modern AU

• Almost all the Clarke AU’s I read have her as a doctor – but I prefer thinking of her as an artist. I feel like yeah, ofc we saw her as a medic on the ground but that’s because she was the only one out of the 100 with the knowledge and background. And on the ark it’s not like artists were needed – she was the daughter of the head medic so it was her natural root. But that doesn’t mean it was a passion.
• But she definitely volunteered at hospitals in her spare time.
• she started out doing a med degree because that was what Abby wanted, and at the time she thought it was what she wanted to. But as she grew up and experienced life outside of the Griffin household she realised art was what she wanted to pursue. So she decided to major in it, and that’s when her mum stopped talking to her. She ended up finishing her medical degree to, because she only had two years left and did enjoy learning everything.
• So if you want to get a rough idea about how I imagine her life to be, maybe picture Lorelai Gilmore – but her incentive to leave wasn’t because of a baby but her degree.
• Coming to how she met everyone. I think during her childhood, she only had Wells as a friend, but then Jaha moved out of their small town and she lost Wells when she was in highschool (they reconnected when she moved out, and he would come to meet her whenever he could and vise versa because GUESS WHAT, no one dies in my world.).
• except Jake, idk I just can’t imagine her dad being alive in my world and her still doing half the things I write. So yeah, he died in a car crash in my head when she was in highschool.
• Throughout highschool she had friends but no one she could depend on. You know the whole ‘we will walk together to the washrooms and sit at the same table, but god forbid we share any valid life detail.’
• Then one night she went to New York to look at universities, and met Murphy at a bar. He was about to get his ass beat but she helped him out and they ended up getting drunk and he let her crash at his apartment.
• Idk I like the idea of her meeting Murphy first.
• She went back home the next day and forgot all about that night.
• So then she gets accepted into university, and for the first few years is doing her med degree, but lives at home and barely interacts with anyone.
• Then when she decides to do an art degree, she gets into a fight with her mother, and ends up moving out and into a dorm.
• THEN she meets Jasper, Monty and Octavia who go to the same university – but she never saw before because they obviously werent in the same department as her and Clarke never hung around the university.
• They helped her settle into the independent life and get her own space and through them she met Raven, Bellamy and everyone else.
• She ofc saw Murphy with them as well and they hit it off again
• Okay now random headcanons that I thought of.
• I can only picture her in like a studio apartment, with BIG windows, a huge living room space. Wood and neutral colours. One bedroom, and a small kitchen that’s apart of the living room.
• And her work EVERYWHERE. She would paint and decorate all her furniture. Design all her pillow covers. She was an artist and proud of it.
• Her living room is her art studio, and has easels and paint and canvas’ everywhere.
• Definitely a night owl™.
• TERRIBLE puns and knock knock jokes.
• Plus she has terrible joke timing.
• But she got really excited when she told a joke so everyone laughed anyway.
• She was ALWAYS cold. Always. Her feet were like ice cubes. But she never wore shoes because they annoyed her feet. And she wouldn’t turn up the heat because it ruined her ‘vibe™’
• big snacker, she’d be the one with all the unbranded, weird ass snacks in her cupboard like idk squirrel shaped onion rings or whatever. Basically my girl took full advantage of the freedom she got after leaving Abbitch.
• But she was always forgetting to eat actual m e a l s.
• sleep schedule? I think the fuck not. The sun came up and went down it was all the same to her.
• She loved animals, especially dogs – but didn’t trust herself to take care of one. Neither did Wells, not after her fourth grade Hamster™.
• She would research about the most random things, just so she was always prepared and well informed for a Debate (Heated Argument*) at anytime.
• Loved board and card games. And was super competitive which goes without saying. She was an UnO chaMp™.
• A tumblr girl™ – either you know what I mean or you don’t. Like yeah she had all the socials – her private school friends back home made them for her. But she didn’t know their usernames or passwords. Her instagram bio still her highschool name in it. But then she could spend hours on tumblr because they were Her People™.
• Loved painting her clothes. Especially her socks. All her socks had her favourite characters on them, ranging from the Bananas in Pajamas and Pippi Longstocking to Monica in FRIENDS.
• Speaking of characters. She had two extremes while watching shows – either she would immerse herself fully in them, analysising every character development, researching every plot hole, ranting about every character on tumblr, or she wouldn’t watch it at all. No in betweens here maam.
• She loved crime shows, and would try and guess the end result before the episode ended.
• Also loved rewatching movies and commenting about how dumb everyone was.
• Physically incapable of turning down a dare ?? rumour has it she’d break out in hives if she did.
• Like she was sensible and practical, she had to be after leaving home when she was like 19 (idk im not good with working out ages) and the only money she had was the cash her dad left her, because Abby is a bitch and cut her off. The money was enough to pay for her art degree (Abby had already taken care of the medical one) – anyways getting off topic.
• Basically she was smart and sensible but say the word Dare™ and she would bunjy jump from her flats window..
• Claustrophobic. Good thing her apartment had that window, huh? (I just really like the idea of Clarke painting in front of a big ass window with the view of New York beneath her. It’s my whole brand rn)
• Coming back to apartments, poor thing never learnt how to lock a door. She was always leaving her door open, and Bellamy (look I have so many Modern Bellarke AU’s but Im running out of room so i’ll give us all just one) would come in with food (because her friends had to feed her if she wouldn’t herself.) and have to shout at her.
• She just kept loosing her keys under her shit so it was either leaving the door open or being locked out all night.
• So ofc, she left the door open.
• had a pillow army™. The fluffy ones, ones shaped as penguins, and doughnuts and various other food items. You couldn’t see much bed, all it was was pillows.
• Her life goal after moving out of her mums and getting an apartment was to keep one (1) potted plant alive (‘that cactus was fa u l t y’)
• has a really old tattered leather journal that was filled with sketches and ideas and reminders she would never remember to check.
• S t i c k y n o t e s on fridges kinda girl™. But all her friends were convinced it was because they looked pretty, because it’s not like she ever CHECKED what she wrote.
• She loved those honk if you’re __ stickers. she’d constantly switch the one on her jeep. (YES the jeep made it into my headcanons, don’t fight it)
• was a ‘blast your music loud and proud kind of girl’
• indie music when she was worked, or painting something that required concentration and a steady hand. Rock when she was jamming out and cooking
• speaking of cooking, my girl can’t cook, okay?. She was a master at breakfast foods and could whip up pancakes that tasted like fairy dust but that was I T.
• because yes, she would follow recipes. To begin with at least. But halfway through she would get bored and *merge* steps and it would all just be a mess.
• She drunk dialed Abby once and said ‘no mum, i’m giving up YOUR dreams’ because she would be damned if she couldn’t live out her Disney fairytale when the opportunity was r i g h t there.
• As for work, she had a part time job in the book store near her flat at night. In the day she would paint, and a lot of her work sold for top dollar. Her parents circle were her first few clients, and as they spread the word she found her career taking off.
• She hated being still and not doing something. So when she wasn’t painting, or hanging out with her friends, or at work, she would volunteer at the local hospital.
• But no matter how hard they tried to get her to actually w o r k there, she wouldn’t.
But like, she would also *volunteer* all night if need be, and all the staff treated her like she was actually working there idk lol this probably makes no sense but it’s clear in my head and I love it.
• The Delinquents (yeah, they call themselves that. Octavia is a softhearted rebel™) always ended up crashing at her apartment (because her door was always unlocked) and she loved painting them while they had movie night together, or stayed up late baking.
• All their apartments were full of paintings she did from their time together that they liked.
• OH THEY DEFINITELY WATCHED THE VOICE OR AMERICAN IDOL OR S O M E T H I N G LIKE THAT TOGETHER –

• but that didn’t stop them from rating everyone elses voices and shouting at the judges for their decisions.

B A C K G R O U N D
You were born to a tailor who ran a little boutique in the middle of Vesuvia. Most of your time was spent in this little shop, modeling frilly dresses that your father had put together. Sometimes you would wear them outside to advertisement if the business was slow, but you liked to keep them in your room for special occasions. If you weren’t in the shop, then you were out connecting with the different creatures in the woods. During this time, you befriended a little bluejay and called it Blue. Your pet bird would follow you everywhere you went; he became your best friend.
In terms of magic, you were a late bloomer. You were about fifteen years old when you were examing your face, trying to apply grounded coal above your eyelids for a smokey look. Instead, the sediments had gone into your eyes. You tried to wash it out, but your lids were smudged with black. Never in your life had you felt so frustrated, that you channeled all your energy into your eyes. You just wanted the perfect liner-- just like all the other girls in town. Suddenly, your father walked in.
“You did a nice job lining your eyes with coal. I remember it was tricky for your mother.”
You looked at the mirror. It was still smudged to you, but your father was seeing the perfect eyeliner. That’s when you discovered your affinity towards illusion magic.

Portia
Blue was pestering you again. He wanted to scout the woods for specs of garlic bread; someone had left a trail of them and Blue ate the entire thing. Afterward, he was bloated and had a stomachache. Yet it seemed that the bird wanted more. He kept tapping your ear with his peak, causing a sharp sting.
“Blue, have some patience. Let me fold this last gown and we can spend our time in the woods for as long as you want. Just please stop.” Your voice was sharp with annoyance.
After you folded the last dress, you jogged your way to the forest so Blue wouldn’t snip off your ear. When you arrived, you began searching for the crumbs while Blue soared above. In the middle of two trees, you found another trail of bread crumbs. You let out a whistle and Blue came rushing you. As soon as he saw the pieces of bread, he flew straight towards them. But a head full of red blocked his path. Instead of picking up the crumbs, he collided with the head.
“Ouch! What the hell?” The redhead glared and swatted at the bird. “Go along, shoo!”
You rush towards the commotion. “What’s going on?”
“That bird nearly attacked me!”
You shake your head and scold your pet. “Blue, you have to be more careful! That was extremely dangerous. She could have gotten hurt!”
“I did get hurt,” The stranger said.
“I’m extremely sorry about that. Blue has been quite problematic lately. He once saw this trail of garlic bread and now he has an addiction to it. You could say he’s a real pain in the peck.” You can’t help but smile at your awful pun.
The irritation from the woman’s face melts away. While she rolls her eyes, a small smile forms on her lips. “That was terrible.”
“Hey! I’d say I make im-peck-able jokes.” You wiggle your brow.
“If I give your bird a loaf of garlic bread, will you please stop?”

Asra
As you got older, you were able to perfect your illusionary magic. Your primary use for it was enhancing your features-- applying makeup to your face without using any product. The other time you used it was when there you found one pesky flaw in your artwork that no paint could cover. Your use was fairly small and light-hearted.
That’s why the panic in your stomach was rampant when you were running from the cabbage seller. You needed to buy ten loaves of garlic bread because Blue had become addicted to it. Not only was it expensive, but the seller would only make the bread for “special individuals.” You wanted to call Nadia to do you a favor, but Blue was growing more impatient (and you did not need another peck on your ear). With the time crunch, you decided to become Nadia. Just for a few minutes. You had planned to tell her later to relieve your conscience (which you did and she spent the whole day laughing about it).
All was going well. The man had made the ten loaves without any questions. He was extremely eager to be graced by the presence of the princess. As he packed the bread into a bag and handed it to you, there was a loud screech from the corner of the street. Your attention had turned from your disguise towards the cry. However, that caused your illusion to fall.
“Hey, you’re not the princess. You’re a random commoner!” The man screamed.
You took the bag of bread and rolled your eyes. “I may be a commoner, but at least I’m a cute one. I couldn’t tell the difference between your head and the bread.”
The man’s face turned red. “Guards! She’s stealing my bread!”
You ran to the nearest alleyway, narrowly avoiding the officials. With a sigh, you create another disguise for yourself.
“Aren’t you the girl who stole all that bread?”
You jumped at the sound of the silky voice. Behind you stood the well-known magician, Asra.
“You’re Asra! The best magician in Vesuvia!” Your calm demeanor flew out the window as you stood face-to-face with the man who inspired you to use magic.
“That I am,” He chuckled. “But I’m curious, what are you planning to do with all that bread? I’m sure it's not all for yourself.”
You look the bag in your hand. “Of course not. It’s for my bird who-” You spun around to find him. “-should be here somewhere.”
“I think I saw him flying around earlier. A bright blue bird, right?” He asked. You nod in response.
“He’ll show up soon. While you wait, I must say that the details of your illusion magic are astounding.” Asra points to the teal hair you created on the spot.
“Thanks. It took me a while to perfect, but I’ve gotten the hang of it,” You said.
“Would you mind showing me a few of your tricks?”
F I N A L F A T E
As you spent more time with Asra, you ventured into other types of magic. However, you realized that your affinity would always be towards illusions. Once you understood the severity of your powers, you felt the need to use them for the greater good. This meant going on missions that were requested by Nadia to protect Vesuvia from external threats. At first, Asra was unsure of this. He had already lost one love, he couldn’t lose the love of his life. But you were sure that this was what you wanted to do, so he tagged along with you.
Many of your missions had been successful. The threats had been apprehended and taken to the Vesuvia dungeons thanks to your hard work. You and Asra had become the unexpected crime-fighting duo. Nadia didn’t let your success go unnoticed. She held an entire celebration for her talented friends, boosting your reputation throughout the entire country. You took the opportunity to flaunt your fame in front of the baker that you stole from years ago. He offered you an unlimited supply of garlic bread, but you told him that his bread tasted the fungus. After that, he went out of business (people were afraid of eating fungus bread). Revenge was sweet.

The Grand Legend of Alex Eywrm
My Mentor is a Omnipotent Powerful Dragon... And also a Pothead.

I froze, chills went down my spine, a frozen breath found its way onto the nape of my neck. I couldn't move, couldn't blink, couldn't breath.
"H u m a n . . . T u r n a r o u n d a n d F a c e m e. . . "
I slowly turned around, eyes open wide in fear. A pair of eyes catch my gaze, round lapis lazulis with slits in the middle, a cloudy mist fills the air as this hidden atrocity lights a blunt, takes a puff, and breaths mist into my face. I immediately start coughing badly, the smoke having a menthol-like effect, a frozen feeling straight down my throat. God its feels like a cough drop just got shoved down my throat.
“N o t u s e d t o i t , I s u p o s e . . . ”
Still coughing from the cough drop second hand smoke, i look at this...thing with watery eyes and ask something quite stupid.
“w-what the hell are you?”
Let me explain why this was stupid. What this thing is, is a mother loving, omnipotent Grand Elder Dragon, straight outta the underworld. How do I know this? Eyes the color of unnatural ice, the stupid elongated tone of voice, the cough drop second hand smoke, which by the way is created by a cigar made from the menthollyptus plant, a bit of sliver dust, a bit of crushed Golden Shabaath, and the ashes of the Eboreal Ash, . And how do i know it's this specific combination of plants and metal dust? Because the burn in my throat and the dizziness of my eyes feels the same way as when i have to go to my pothead boss whose name I will not mention, who also is a dragon(a lesser dragon i believe). Not a stupidly powerful dragon as this one in front of me-

… did this dragon just read my-

… this mother lovin dragon. His Name is Sytar, the Province of all that is Time. This is a Timelord, someone who could manipulate time at will, and is able to go back into the past and future at will. However, only those who can set in motion the future are Prophets, those who divine prophecies among Heroes.
“H e r o e s-
“Can you just shut up with that stupid tone?”
“...and why should I, Mere mortal?”
“uhh...Because you came here to tell me something?”
“... that is true. Ahem. Allow me to propose some…Exposition.”
...what?
“What the genuine fuck are you talking about?” I ask in an actual concerned voice.
“...i'm just gonna give some exposition. Explain about heros.. Y'know, basic hero talk.”
“...why though? I already know about heroes and their grand and glorious exploits. I don’t need the exposition Sytar.”
“ its for the audience, idiot.”
“The what? What audience?” I look around for any signs of fades or missing bits of my apartment. Usually, grand dragons want to play around and recreate the rooms of their victims through illusionary magic. Also, they set up wireless connections and broadcast their mischief to major television channels. It's also one of Mia’s favorite shows, called The Fool’s Cage with NICK JOOOONES! Or something like that. I don’t watch much television. Just the forecast. Hopefully this isn’t that show.
“I’m not doing that Alex. Im too sophisicated for that dumb soap oprea. Also, who’s Mia?”
“None of your fucking business.”
“Chill dude. I'm not gonna hurt her-”
“Just shut up.” I rub my head and sit down. This is just stupid. Why is this dragon in my room, why can’t I just sleep, and why is there still some delicious musty tea on my mug. Although it's cold now, so its just now mediocre musty tea. Taking a sip of my mediocre musty tea, I ponder the reasons of this dragon being in my already cramped room.
“If you would stop explaining stuff, i would tell you why.”
“Can you shut up?”
“Can you explain why you're being so rude mortal?” This thirteen foot monster with a sixteen foot tail, scales as pale as moonstones, with just a tinge of blue, and nails...or should I say claws, as black as coal, all wrapped up in a bathrobe lined with alpaca fur, and flip flops with small bunny ears...Mia would like these… and a long, girthy, absolutely unnecessary cigar, lit with a teal flame. Wow.. You must really have some worn out lungs huh Sytar?
“ as a matter of fact, my lungs are perfectly fine, thank you very much.” Just as the omnipotent dragon starts coughing like a 40 year old smoker. Don’t Smoke kiddos.
“...anyway, as I was saying… Heroes are given a Prophecy by a Prophet to fulfill, as it is their purpose as a sworn and pledged Hero, and by receiving this blessing, they are given eternal life. That is, they stop aging at a certain age, and can choose how old they look...occasionally. Most heroes either look 20 or 30 years old. It is uncertain. However, a Hero can be slain, and its soul shall remain here. Until it has completed its prophecy, or has it’s soul devoured by a Devil, Or it is destroyed by some other manner, a Hero cannot rest. A Hero can only wait for its opportunity to arrive, or live out its days in misery...such is the tragedy of a hero..” The dragon wipes a petty tear of his cheeks with such unnecessary flair. I wasn’t paying attention though. While this high-of-his-rockers dragon blabbered on about what i already knew about Heros(they teach you this in middle school history, along with the history of this nation’s government, The Federal Foundation of Terrana) I texted Mia. I asked whether or not she wanted hotdogs or ramen hotpot with some delicious musty tea. She wanted the hotdogs and some actual tea. But I reminded her that delicious musty tea was actual tea. Then she sent me a gif with a Gonodorf wizard rolling its eyes and some text on top saying ‘when your roommate is a dad-joke loving dork but you be wanting some actual food’. Kids these days with their memes and what not. Though...Mia isn’t actually a child, she’s old enough to drive around the pier and order her favorite milk tea with boba. Although, she still wakes up early to watch her morning ‘anime’ instead of doing her online college work, and still asks for some SourPatch Dwarves, and still cuddles up to me when she has nightmares...Anyway, she then tells me that she’s bringing one of her friends back home, and she’ll come home in about 20 minutes. Shit! I face the high-as-a-skyscraper dragon and tell him to…
“Leave. Now.”
The dragon, whom took another puff of his cigar, which was now half the length before he arrived, responded in a rather concerning manner…
“Can I at least say that your a hero and explain that…” he takes a moment to recollect his thoughts… “to the audience?”
“N-no!” I manage to say before I start coughing again, accidentally breathing in the cough drop second hand smoke.
“Dude ...it's not that bad….” He really was lost now, gone beyond all hope.
“Look, Wannabe Sytar, Two people live in this household and one of them is not used to the smell of smoke at all, and you won’t shut up about all this hero nonsense, and look-” and another coughing fit ensued from all the cough drop second hand smoke. “J-just go. Come back when your not a bloody stoner” for fucks sakes...Alex rushes around the apartment, opening every window they had. The dragon chuckled and recited a familiar phrase.
“There are Three curses a hero must avoid, lest they shall lose their lives. A Hero must always beware of a Dragon’s Wrath, A Madman’s Oath, and a False God’s Promise. You do know this, don’t you Alex?”
“Y-yes i know” said Alex with a sore throat. The second hand smoke was getting to him pretty badly. “Why bother telling me this?” the dragon sighed and went for another puff of his blunt, decided against it, and place it away in a pocket dimension.
“Alex...i am a tempermental dragon, cursed with Devil’s Scawl. I cannot prevent a berserk state this late into my life. The scawl is as painful as a parasitic cancer can be. Therefore, I use medicinal herbs to ease my pain away. It just so happens to be in the form of a cigar. I know of the conditions in this household, and I’ll try not to overstay this welcome.”
The air froze, particles of dust and smoke slowed to a stop, creating an interstellar, ethereal effect. It suddenly got a lot...colder...what the…
“Alex. there is something I must tell you. We do not have much time…”
“... i'm listening.” I grab the chair to my desk and sit down, wondering at what will the dragon say.
“Alex Ewyrm, You are a Hero who has not taken the Pledge. You will be entangled in the strings of Fate, You will be enwrapped in a story much, Much more grand than you could ever imagine. You will lose, You will gain, and your actions as a Hero shall decide the Destiny of the whole Universe. Alex Ewyrm, Son of Eris and Terrice Ewyrm, and grandchild to a knight of the 13th Order to Maxwell’s Commandment Squadron, Warus Garne Ewyrm, Known as the Hero who drew the cursed blade-
“Exodus. . .”Alex sat there in shock… So this dragon was legitimate. No other dragon could have found out either his parent’s name, or the commandment in which his grandfather served. There was also the fact that Sytar knew about his inheritance, what was passed down, generation to generation.
“Yes. Exodus… the cursed sword Exodus. You see now, that i am Sytar, Providence to all that is Time. I came here to warn you. I shall lead your way, be your guidance, and provided mentorship when you need it most. That is my Pledge I will take as Sytar, Providence to all that is Time!”
...wait. Wait wait wait hold the hot pipe up! Is he suggesting..?!
“..are you saying… you want to be my mentor..?”
“Yes! That is what I pledge and that is what I shall do with pride and dignity!”
I groan and put my weary head on my hands. Why...do i have to be with this pothead…

...then there’s silence...the smoke has long left the room. The dust has settled… on the entrance, a small but audible knock can be heard. Then, a voice.

right so i’ve been reading some posts and mainly it’s all ‘rian johnson u asshole’ and ‘star wars is ruined forever’ BUT i dont think it is?? not completely anyway?
i thought the movie was. good? i mean. coming out of the theater i thought to myself i like this, it’s fine. and it is fine, but not. not it, you know? it had its ups and downs and honestly im surprised it’s getting so much hate, because i actually kind of. liked it? but there was some bullshit, yall

right, so. i believe that luke is a nuanced character with flaws. and i believe that there have been times when he struggled with his own grasp of light and dark, this being one of these times. but?? trying to murder his nephew???
during the movie i thought that maybe luke looking into ben’s darkness made him fall into his own a little bit? because i just don’t see luke that way. luke always believed in the good in people. he saw the good in vader - v a d e r - who was so far gone he didn’t even believe it himself anymore. and you’re telling me he truly didn’t believe kylo could be saved? or even helped? that he deserved to die, even if he believed this just for a moment?
other than that. i found luke had his good moments in the film as well. using the force to trick kylo, so that the rebellion had time to escape. or the beautiful moment where luke was looking at the sunset, the end of his journey in parallel to the sunset in anh, the beginning of his journey. pure poetry. a+

—— in bangkok, thailand, born and raised, on the playground was where she spent most of her days.
—— overall, her childhood was pretty chill. or, at least it was the best part of her life. she’s spent most of her time with her grandparents and parents; they all lived together so they could afford the rent.
—— although her parents aren’t really her parents, she’s never referred to them as anything else. her biological dad passed away before she was born. when she was two years old, she was taken away from her mom because she was an abusive drug and booze addict who couldn’t care less about taking care of her daughter the way she was supposed to. atchara doesn’t remember it, but it’s the reason she hates drugs and alcohol.
—— her dad’s brother and his boyfriend took her under their wings and for a while, all was well. she took drawing classes every now and then, had a few close friends, went grocery shopping with her grandparents every afternoon and every evening, she spent some time with her parents after they've gotten back from work.
—— everything started going downhill for her when she was 10 years old. her parents moved to south korea and she had to leave her grandparents and all her friends behind. her uncle dad had to move because of his job, so they didn’t have any other option.
—— she didn’t like being in korea. she didn’t fit in and wanted to go back to bangkok, but both her dads told her to just give it a little time.
—— she started getting bullied in school pretty quickly, for pretty much everything, from her weight and broken korean to her quiet nature.
—— since it seemed like nothing was under her control anymore, she gained control over something else; her weight. at the age of 12, she began to obsessively count calories, exercise for hours a day and weighted herself several times a day in fear the number for be just slightly higher than it was an hour ago.
—— she was completely alone in this. she had just a couple of friends she wasn’t close enough to and she was scared to tell her parents about what was going on. all her good friends were in bangkok and so were her beloved grandparents.
—— though, it didn’t take a lot for her parents to notice her drastic weight loss and different eating habits, so they signed her up for dance classes in hopes it’d give her something else to focus on. it worked.for a while, she was happy enough to not care about her weight and even gained most of it back. of course, it didn’t last long.
—— what pushed her back into her old eating habits was her grandpa’s death. though, it was more of a depression issue rather than a body image thing. she was 14 then and convinced her parents to let her go back to thailand for a few days. she stayed for five months, but soon came back to korea, even though she was hoping she wouldn’t have to.
—— after coming back, the bullying seemed to be even harder to deal it. she told the principal, but he said she was just making it up and sent her back to the class. she started skipping school and spent the 8 hours she was supposed to be in classes driving around the town in the streetcar. she did this for two months straight before the school called her parents to let them know she hasn’t been attending it,
—— day to day, she switched schools, but hasn’t been the same since. even though nobody bullied her, she was scared to talk, became paranoid and lost the last bit of confidence she used to have, but after some time, she realized that in this school, she had nothing to worry about. she began to open up a little bit, but really started to get better after she graduated.
