I will never understand the hate that Ikimaru suffers in this fandom to this day (and she is not even part of this fandom anymore) and it is incredible how these pretentious people talk badly about her art (they are clearly jealous of her artistic style).
They hate her for having drawn white DaveRose in a sensual manner that one time, her drawing Roxy in a not dark enough tan skin, most characters being skinny instead of obese, drawing most of the characters on model as they are seen on the webcomic, and the most offensive crime of all that they hate.... is her drawing vaguely anime art style.
That's why they hate her.
She has regret drawing Davekat, as she is one of the same artist the contributed to the Vriskagram where Dave and Karkat sat in that couch. There probably were people that hate Ikimaru for drawing Dave on model as a white boy, not giving him curly hair or dark skin.
Basically, people hating on her for stupid ass shit.

Hey, you know how Cyber Monday happened? Well I was weak and my pin collection grew(also got other stuff, but this is a pin collection post.
Firstly, from a shop we've seen in my other pin collection post, we have stuff from starfishface's shop
Nice simple design for a nice simple concept, yes, please ask about my OCs. Very nice

And as most if not all of her pin have, a rubber star shaped back
In contrast to the last one, this one is somewhat busy, which fits with it being a hoard of dice and yet doesn't over power anything. And of course being called a dice hoarder is an accurate description. Again, very good

What do you think of Ikimaru's art? I give him a "Meh", his style has never changed. I also remember the memes they made of how obsessed he was with Homestuck if I'm wrong. He was the most popular homestuck artist, right?
I think it is fine for what it is. Maybe because I'm bias to anime-like artstyle and think it looks cleaner than the shit that is tumblr artstyle that would get flooded on here and Twitter, is why I am cool with this. He was popular fanartist that joined in for Homestuck art team near the end, yes. Though he would regret his contribution and fanart of Davekat because of it. I can't blame him.
