People calling me a "gender defender just like the patriarchy is" is fucking hilarious.
"Gender" the way I use it is so, so far from its original definition. It is the word I'm using to mean "personal identity".
I'm here for the people who don't want a gender at ALL, who want to define their personal identity WITHOUT that word. I'm here to tear the concept of gender away from the patriarchy and pull it apart into a trillion pieces. No more gender roles! No more sex stereotypes!
I want the idea of what it means to have a gender to be personally defined by every individual who wants one. I want no woman or man or non-binary person to be the same. I want the biggest, gruffest dude you've ever seen to say he's an asexual nonbinary woman, and the femmest delicate dame to say she's a bi-lesbian man. I want no one to be able to guess your sex assigned at birth just by looking at you. What's in your pants? Mystery!
I'm here for body modification, HRT, surgery, all that shit. You wanna get elf ears? Sure! You want breast implants, a full body lizard tattoo, phalloplasty, and dermal implants? Hell yes. Full bodily autonomy is what I support.
I'm here for the neopronouns and nounself pronouns and xenogenders. I'm here for people identifying with the gender euphoria of clouds and trees. Fuck, half of the time I describe myself as "masculine like a misty mountain forest". I'm forest-gender. I'm they/them like the Pando Forest (a forest of aspen "trees" that are all technically one tree). I'm he/him like the snow you see walking through the woods when there's orange skyglow everywhere. I'm "it/its" like how you call the deer you see through the trees as you hush the person you're walking with - "Shhh- do you see it? Look!“
You know who hates this kind of shit? Transphobic radfems. Transphobic gender critical feminists. I think the original trans gender abolitionists would be on board with me, but that term has been stolen by a lot of terfs, radfems, and the GCers. That's why I use "gender liberation", to differentiate myself from transphobia.
I assure you, the patriarchy does not approve of any of this shit either, and while I use the word "gender" to mean "personal identity", I promise that the things I think "gender" encompasses is in defiance of anything the patriarchy would approve of.
The patriarchy only approves of two binary genders, that are rigidly based on birth sex, and are unchangeable. They believe being male makes you strong, and being female makes you weak. Their version of gender is based on those stereotypes about birth sexes, and comes with precise roles, behaviors, and places within a social hierarchy all based on your birth sex and the traits they think that biology gives you.
Transphobic radfems, terfs, and gender critical feminists also believe in two binary sexes that are rigidly based on birth sex and are unchangeable. Some of them believe just like the patriarchy that your birth sex determines your behaviors, that males are "inherently" violent, and females are "inherently" weaker. In fact, they believe that these biological qualities are WHY men invented the patriarchy in the first place: it's baked into their biology to oppress women. That's why so many of them are female separatists or female supremacists.
That is not what I'm here for. But I sure see a whole lot in common between the patriarchy and transphobic feminists.

Short answer: I was a massive asshole to a most likely homophobic Christian who defended "straight pride", but not to someone specifically for having English as a second language. I made fun of them for calling us children, but not knowing the proper you're. Yes, this was a disgusting, asshole move and yes I'm ashamed of it.
Long answer: The only reason everyone thinks they are ESL is due to a claim from a flight rising anon drama/hate website, called Anon Re Rising, that "pearl packaged horse shit" sounded East Asian. In reality, this quote comes from Angel Dust in hazbin hotel, where his accent makes "poorly" sound like "pearl". This is the only claim that says they could be ESL, as otherwise they spoke in perfect English and even used AAVE liberally.
I was an asshole to them only after they began insulting the LGBT+ community for not "accepting other views" which in this case, was that straight people deserve support too despite not being persecuted. They actively said we were intolerant and that they hated the LGBT+ community because we refused to listen to others and due to the infighting, and said they refused to be part of it due to this. They had used the slur ( this is a regional slur from the UK, as I've been told. I originally was told this was not a slur, I only parrot what lesbians tell me because I am not a lesbian. ) "les" to be shorthand for lesbian, and I told them not to use it as they are bisexual and cannot reclaim it in that context. This enraged them and they went on a tangent on how they shouldn't be corrected and that is when the insults started. I agree that I should not have insulted them back, and I regret it deeply. I have already received many, many death threats about this situation due to an AITA post I was accused of making. I did not make it, and I do not know who did. I don't care to find out, either. I just want to move on from this shameful situation.

Hiya!! My name's Phoenix, but I go by Miles and Simmons as well interchangeably, I have no strong preference :) I'm 20 years old and I use he/they pronouns!! This has been my primary blog since I was 13!!

I know it's intended to be your weird code word for other transphobic white cishet women. but it literally a more confusing and lame and restrictive version of the term "people with a uterus" which you claim to hate. you say to hate that term because it "reduces women to their genitals" (which isn't true because it doesn't apply to all women, or exclusively to just women, and that's why it's sometimes used instead of "women" because it's more inclusive for that particular situation), yet you are literally reducing women to their genitals with the word "gyns". but anyways, we're getting away from the actual discussion here. you post isn't transphobic. I'm sure you intended it to be transphobic, but it completely failed. it's not any more offensive to trans women than it is to cis women. it is however sexist, because you're saying that all women, regardless of them being cis or trans, must enjoy and love having children. which is false. not everyone is like that. some women simply do not want to have children. and it's really fucking sexist to imply that all women not only enjoy having kids, but are required to have kids. it shows that you see women as nothing more than breeding machines.

okay, final post on this. my thing with terfs isnt the terfs. im 18, ive been through a lot, i can handle a couple of terfs on my page. what bothers me is the young people, especially young girls & transmascs, that fall into the terf rabbithole on accident.
SO.
heres my quick & easy guide on how i personally check for terfs. PLEASE check for these signs. to protect yourself. ofc not all things immediately mean terf, but this is my personal checklist
rad and or fem in the url (IMMEDIATE red flag)
labrys lesbian flag (somewhat of a red flag, could be innocent young lesbian roped into it. if theyre an adult its a red flag)
if you click on the search icon it will show a bunch of commonly used tags. look at the tags. common tags wpuld be radfem, radical feminism, terfism, gender critical etc
look at where they reblog from. who theyre following if its public. what posts they like if thats public. look at the bios of these. if the terf doesnt have a bio and is trying to be stealthy, oftentimes the people they agree with are open about it. block both while youre at it
queer slur discourse (also done outside of terf circles but far more common among terfs, especially coupled with the "not queer, im lesbian" stuff (though thats understandable and not inherently terfy) and in combination with other red flags)
exclusionism (not inherently terfy but still a good point to look out for)
fixation on wombs and vulvas (immediate red flag no one but terfs is that obsessed with their reproductive organs)
the "LGB" community, or even the "remove the L" because they dont want to associate with gay & bi people
really big hatred of the concept of "genital preference". sexuality is only about genitals to them.
intense man hatred. they hate men so much. (also not an immediate red flag because yeah some of it is warranted but you can tell the difference between joking about trauma/standing up against the patriarchy and straight up... being a terf)
the term "ssa". stands for same sex attraction. (pretty big one i think. i personally have only heard it from terfs.)
febfem. bisexuals who only date women. (also one i didnt know about until like half an hour ago. also a big one)
this is one specific to the current time and might be obsolete soon but if theyre vocal amber heard supporters. those are ALL terfs.
terfs are also often swerfs. hating on sex workers (not the system, the system is fucked and we should recognize it) is terfy !
they like to refer to us (trans people) as a cult. which, to be honest, after this experience, im more likely to call them a cult. (if a terf disagrees with you, get ready for closing anon & gross bullshit in your notes. we have mutual circles, they have them too)
and of course green flags for trans people & trans allies, if they have these the odds of it being a terf are. a lot smaller

and if you're in doubt whether or not its a terf, its better to block an innocent person than to interact with a terf, id say. odds are the innocent person doesnt care.
BUT!
let's say you said something they didn't like and now your post is circling in their shitty little group chat. what then? my suggestion would be to
CLOSE ANON ASKS. once their cult has found your page and realizes you post about trans things, or worse, are trans, they will harass you. anon gives a lot of confidence to send death threats. dont let them.
Block all of them. No, it's not gonna stop new ones from harassing you in their place, but it does make for a pretty nice blocklist.
If you need to, don't hesitate to step away from tumblr for a while. Not everyone can handle harassment, and it's okay to step away if it's too much.
Remember you're worth so much more than any of these terfs. Remember being trans is something to be proud of, remember you are loved, and most importantly, remember they're just terfs on the internet. laugh at them. make fun of them. they may say shitty things, but they can't actually hurt you. (anything that can hurt you, like doxxing, is illegal. get law enforcement if possible if you think you're in actual physical danger)
Best of all is to ignore it. Don't keep talking about it ("take your own advice" im working on it). it's not fun to harass someone who just ignores you.
If you really can't cope, it's okay to close your blog. You don't have to stay. Make a new blog. Only tell your mutuals.
(also, side note, i have a blocklist filled with terfs. i am absolutely down to share this blocklist with you, if you want somewhere to get started)

Yeah uh, some of those bitchy ass birds think they can come back here with their radfem/TERF/SWERF BS and we'll all just welcome them back with open arms. Be diligent. Be vigilant.
I'm going to impart some advice to all of you that I learned while I was a bird watcher.
DO NOT ENGAGE THEM. If they are chirping about harmful shit, DONT EVEN ENGAGE THEM FOR THE "GOTCHA" REPLY. literally JUST BLOCK THEM. Reblogging only spreads the hate.
THEY DONT NEED TO BE EDUCATED. They know they're shitty people. They're trying to find others like them. Don't let them spread out. Report the heinous shit. Block them. Move the fuck on.
IF YOU GET PUT ON SOME KIND OF HATE LIST OR CALLOUT POST for something that seems perfectly "normal" (like being a pro-shipper) scroll the other usernames in that post. See who else is being called out. See what they're being called out for. And BAND TOGETHER. FOLLOW THEM. If you know for a FACT you're getting attacked for something that's literally not an issue, stick together. Follow them. Message them, if you can. Make sure they know they're not alone.
Switch your box to no-anons for a while. Turn off submissions. Turn off messages from non followers for a minute. You might get brigaded.
IF YOU FIND THE INSTIGATOR OF THE HATE CAMPAIGN: there are courses of action to take into consideration.
If you are a minor and the instigator is also a minor: report them and block. Use screenshots, links if you can. The safety folks here at Tumblr have traditionally been far more responsive than on other apps. See above steps.
If you are a minor and the instigator is an adult: report, block, and try to find an adult you trust that can talk through this with you. Beware of adults that label themselves as "safe adults" or "Fandom mom/dads" this title has been corrupted in recent years by radical adults who want power over younger, vulnerable minds. See above steps.
If you are an adult and the instigator is a minor: SEE ABOVE POINTS. It is not YOUR DUTY to explain to a CHILD trying to cancel you why you haven't done anything wrong. Put away the older sibling/cousin/parent energy and remind yourself that the kid is not your responsibility. Report, especially if they have posts stating they're underage to be on here, and block. That's it.
If you are an adult and the instigator is also an adult: I can't tell you what to do with any sort of authority, but I can tell you that trying to argue, reason, educate, or counter-harassment just doesn't work. They don't care. They have a cultlike sense of power and think they have moral superiority over you, which is extremely dangerous if they also have a small army of minors that they've spread their bullshit beliefs to. The most hurtful thing you can do to fight back is to just keep playing whack a mole: report, block, repeat. These are extremely angry, spiteful people that don't give a damn who they hurt. They want to control people because of their discomfort with content they deem inappropriate.
For the record, these people have warped the term "proshipper" to mean "someone who is okay with really morally reprehensible, """illegal""", or just serial content of a nature I feel uncomfortable with" and tend to throw around words like lolicon, pedophile, and groomer. They come up with straight up BIZARRE things to fight over that at the end of the day boil down to "I am uncomfortable with sexually or romantically toned content that may or may not have to do with fictional characters that have the slightest potential to be interpreted as underage."
We're talking things like a character being under five foot five. That's supposedly grounds for being considered child like, and then therefore incapable of feeling anything other than warm fuzziness about going to the park or petting a cat. It sounds legitimately nuts, but it is something I have personally witnessed.
Proship literally means "fine with shipping, and against harassing people for what they do in their spare time relating to their favorite fiction" that's it.
Yknow. The opposite of what these people do.
(This is also the part where I point out that most of the attacks and hate go towards people of marginalized societal groups because it's a good way to act on a "universal stigma" to hide the real reason all this is happening: bitchass, convoluted adults that want to be able to prey on kids without people that would stand up to their bullshit getting in the way)
Anyway. I'm sure I'm rambling and maybe no one will see this, but this is something I wanted to pass on as someone who has been fighting a losing battle against a rising tide of youngsters who reject our notions of safe, happy, considerate Fandom and instead want us to cater to their corrupted, conservative leaning views. I've been doing it on tiktok for 3 years and I'm fucking tired. No one listened to me on this there, so I'm hoping folks will understand me better here. I just wanted to warn all of you that not everyone who is moving here (or coming back) has the best intentions.

I know it's controversial that I hate the "detrans" community, but it's really worth saying that I detransitioned for several years. That was my identity, and my subculture. And it nearly killed me.
The detrans community is designed to make transmed, radfem and TERF idiology more palatable for queer people so that it's easier to make us hate ourselves enough to become outwardly transphobic, and I know people disagree with that, but that was my direct first hand experience.
When I discovered that I had an intersex condition, I was immediately questioning if I was actually non-binary or if I was just intersex, or cis, or confused, and when I shared that on here, I was bombarded by detrans accounts telling me things that basically included the following myths and misinformation:
Nonbinary people don't exist, they're just GNC or gay and are being coerced into coming out
People who don't take HRT or get surgery are not trans and deciding you don't want that counts as detransitioning
Non-binary people are suffering from undiagnosed "mental" intersex conditions , and the implication that being trans is a "mental intersex condition" and that you can "fix it"
The idea that rape can make someone who's trans not be trans anymore, and this includes threats to rape transgender people who aren't interested in the detrans community, often on nsfw or porn blogs (after I transitioned back, I was sent multiple IRL rape and death threats by my former detrans "friends" who wanted to "save me" because "you're better off dead than trans")
The idea that radfems or TERFs are trying to "save" trans people by encouraging detransitioning
Exaggerating trans suicide rates and claiming that detransitioning will cure depression and dysphoria, even though it often leads to suicide
Detrans people often make claims that other identities, like non-binary people or unlabeled people, are "detrans in denial"
Detrans accounts often make transphobic and sexual comments about the bodies of underage trans or questioning people. I've even seen some claim that blockers "turn people into pedophile bait" or that these children are "asking for" sexual violence.
If you ask one of them to not call you "detrans", or to leave you alone, you'll be harassed and possibly doxxed.
Most importantly, if you find yourself in the detrans community and you realize that they're transphobic, and you are trans, they will never stop harassing you. I've made so many accounts to get away, and I still have to keep my account on lock because I still get stalked and harassed.
Ffs maybe if people just listened to survivors they'd realize detrans just means anti-trans, they're just TERFS who are either obsessed with "turning" trans people into cis people, or they have so much internalized transphobia that they want everyone else to go back in the closet like they did, even if they have to bully them into it.
And it's funny how when I post this, I get harassed with messages, "I'm detrans and not transphobic, but...." and then their pages are all about how JKR is their virgin Mary and they refuse to say the word trans in a positive manner, and they're usually pro-TERF. As a survivor of that shit, I'm really fucking over it.
