raihan who holds you when you cry, even though he's the reason. he'll caress your back and kiss your face, but it doesn't fix the fact that he almost fucked someone else— so you tell it to him straight if he does it again you're leaving. yeah, sure. he promises not to do it again, kissing your glossy lips— he loves you.

I am on a break (how does one word that?) from my partner of almost 7 years, I drank so much caffeine, and I'm starting the Iliad so if I'm terrible I apologize in advance.

OKAY spoilers ahead but:

Cutie gets home from work and pretty much immediately asks Geordi if they can get into his mind; he says he had kind of a rough day and asks if he can have, like, 30 minutes to clear his head before they do that. So instead of accepting that, Cutie keeps pushing it and asking again, eventually getting it out that they want to hear what he "really thinks" because what he's already expressed verbally isn't good enough or believable enough? They say something about honesty and trust and the "real him", at which point Geordi gets really upset and goes off about how they're basically always reading his mind and he barely ever asks for boundaries so he doesn't understand why they won't let him have a half hour of privacy. He also talks about how Cutie doesn't seem to get that his unfiltered thoughts aren't the "real him", and how stressful his overthinking and intrusive thoughts are, which he also doesn't understand why they don't get.

Eventually he goes to bed and Cutie follows and THEN, despite the fact he's gone through this twice with them, they enter his mind without permission to overhear him basically arguing with himself about whether he can trust them and whether or not the fact that they're "trying" is enough

Im conflicted. Because like…… this genuinely could be a video that i think is really nicely written.

But im never going to stop complaining about the lack of character/relationship development between the two to make this actually as emotionally impactful as it could be. When you fucking write conflict, you usually want to make the audience care about the people involved, give them some personal emotional investment to make it really hurt, but we dont have that here!!!! I can name like two things about Geordi’s personality at most bc all his fucking videos are angst or nsfw with no character development!!!! It would be so much better if we got to see more of them when theyre just…. Being a couple.
